::2128 PRESS RELEASE::
Galaxian Battlezone League to reopen under new organizational structure!
What –
The Galaxian Battlezone League is an association which operates a major professional wrestling operation of 8 franchised member clubs. Headquartered on Kronos, the GBL is widely expected to become the premier professional wrestling operation in the universe. The Filsinger Cup will be awarded annually to the league playoff champion at the end of each season.
Why –
The league was organized in early 2126 when promoter Todd “Biggin” McFadyen set out to create a unique sport experience by turning professional wrestling into a team sport. When the inaugural launch faltered, promoter Brian “Eliath” Jordan obtained the rights to reopen the organization under a new structure.
Who –
The GBL draws many highly skilled players from all over the known universe. The 2128 season will showcase 48 wrestlers, 8 teams, and a large number of support staff involved with this new venture.
Where –
Events will take place at the home team’s stadium. All events will be broadcast by holovid.
How –
GBL games are played in an approved, regulation wrestling ring. While the Galaxian Battlezone League follows the general rules of professional wrestling, all official regular season and playoff games will use the rules for Battlezone Matches.

I looked at this forum on a lark, just hoping that you had started posting. The 2127 season looks amazing, and I'm glad to see that a promoter feels up to the colossal undertaking! I'm certain the Galaxian Battlezone League is the future of sport!
With so many teams, I'm still unsure who to get behind. I'm leaning toward the Hyperion Knights, but I'll have to see which team stands out to me once the season gets underway.

GBL officials have uncovered an illicit steroid distribution network that has infected all 8 teams in the league.
"We have investigated, and are prosecuting, all parties involved in the ring." GBL officials proclaimed.
So far, 11 wrestlers have been arrested and will face felony charges.
Phobos Sundragon Dr. Payne reportedly provided the performance-enhancing drugs to members of all 8 teams.
Maffei Marauders Ceretonin, Archernar Assassins Assassin Z, Rigel Renegades Witchdoctor and Sycophant, Polaris Armageddon Magnifico, Omicron Unlimited Cyclone and Nitro, Andromeda Bloodlust Wolfman, Tirion Alliance Strong and Phenomenal Swift have all been linked to this investigation.

::Damage squared off against Astro Creep & eliminated him with a belly to belly overhead toss.
::Tusk entered next & threw Damage around before eliminating him with a Hanging Trunk Slam.
::Danger survived a vicious beating from Tusk but escaped with the elimination after a superkick.
::Pandamonium entered and cleaned house; Danger fell to an ANDROMEDA DESTROYER.
::BDK went down next to Pandamonium & the ANDROMEDA DESTROYER.
::Solstice entered, Pandamonium tossed her into the corner & destroyed her with a Japanda Splash into the buckle.
::Pi evaded Pandamonium early, but his luck ran out & he too fell to the ANDROMEDA DESTROYER.
::Pandamonium was on a rampage; Tyrro wasn't able to contain him either; he too fell to the ANDROMEDA DESTROYER!

::Steele Freak pummeled Neuromancer from the opening bell & closed with three BERSERK POUNDING ASSAULTS.
::Freak continued to dominate, this time Torq with another BERSERK POUNDING ASSAUT.
::Homage busted Freak open & ended his run with successive ULTIMATE HOMAGE.
::Homage welcomed El Generico with ABSOLUTE HOMAGE & sent him packing with ULTIMATE HOMAGE.
::Vain slid inside & VANQUISHED Homage in about :30.
::Blue Tornado gave Vain a beating, but the Vanquisher weathered the storm & delivered a BROKEN HEART PUNCH.
::Ares speared Vain & eliminated him with a short-arm clothesline.
