After a lot of hard work, we're pleased to roll out the first public test phase for the new PBP Simulator. You can access it by logging in and clicking on the link under the "Play Matches" menu.
A few important notes:
* Everyone has access to GWF 2087 for the duration of this phase of the test. Your full purchased rosters will be released into the PBP Sim when we finish testing and it officially goes live. * We're testing a little bit at a time so we can keep things focused. Our current focus is on the core gameplay mechanics (reversals, pins, finishers, charts, etc.), so please keep your eyes to that stuff as you play with it. * DO NOT report bugs to these boards, because I won't see them. * DO REPORT BUGS by e-mail to cotg@fortysixtenstudios.com ... I'll see those.
As soon as I'm satisfied that we've caught everything for this phase, I'll roll out the next bits (probably tag wrestling next). The plan is to keep rolling things out until I'm convinced that we're completely good. At that point, we'll make everything official and move out of the beta test phase and into the full-blown release, which we've tentatively got targeted for the first full week in April (so it shouldn't be too long now).

Update!
First off, thanks to everyone for reporting the bugs that you've found. I assure you that while I haven't responded personally to every single e-mail that's come in to the bug account, I've seen them all and fixed every bug. I'm happy to report that at this point, the entire system is bug free. This means it's time to roll out new features.
LIVE NOW: (c) and (lv) options for wrestlers. PIN and DQ roll breakdowns so you can see exactly HOW a match finishes for feud tables, Splatter's lottery, and so on.
COMING SOON: Artificial intelligence! Each wrestler will have options for how they make decisions during their matches, from how frequently they leave the ring or go up top to how they handle the choice charts. The plan is to eventually have pre-defined personalities for every wrestler (since Thantos shouldn't wrestle like the Mutant), but at the same time give everyone the ability to define custom personalities for ANY and ALL wrestlers that they own digital versions of as well as for your Create-A-Character cards.
I'm really excited to actually get this out there. This is something I wanted to do even with the initial iteration of the first Simulator, but the time just wasn't there. I'm looking forward to finally rolling AI out sometime this week!

That is awesome!!! The AI will take Online to a whole new level. I would generally have The Sheik throw his opponent out of the ring every single time he rolls that option but Antonio Inoki probably wouldn't do it as often.
I like it. Can't wait to see it in action!
