Also consider that Gatekeeper, Ringer and Daimyo were all 6'3 and ranged in weight from 280lbs. - 300lbs. and all had the same agility (I believe) as Iron Hand, 0.

I personally don't believe it's Morpheus, but his name is amongst the more popular theories here.

As for Gatekeeper et al; I think The Main Event is the next evolution of that character.

I'm sticking with Thantos, but I know some folks here have far more insight (and far greater oportunities for the exchange of info with Tom and others), and as a result may be more knowledgable of the real deal.

I can honestly say I have no clue who he is. To be honest I'm not even sure Tom 100% does yet. That's how the dude works. I'm sure he has it down to two or three possibilities and The Main Event is certainly designed to appear to be him, except for one thing - he isn't playing mind games with anyone in 2123, which has been Keeper/Ringer/Daimyo's thing. The Main Event is just some random dude who caught the eye of She Devil and who hopes to sign on with someone. He also doesn't have a mask.

Iron Hand on the other hand is messing with the minds of the ENTIRE fed while under a mask.

I don't think Tom has fully decided. I think he has got about a half dozen characters in mind including it being someone new entirely.

I have a hard time believing that even a souped-up, armored Thantos would be capable of being as dominant as Iron Hand is. Same with any other old guy. Disguise-based subversion just doesn't seem to be up Thantos' alley, either. Evil or not, you always knew exactly where Thantos stood.

Swarm's last post didn't seem to sink in, so let me repeat--MORPHEUS HAS BEEN DEAD FOR LIKE FIVE YEARS. Heart condition, room at the Deimos Media Center named for him, all that. In game-time I believe it happened a set or two after his stint as co-Commissioner. And he's even older than Thantos anyhow. That'd be a hell of a swerve, but one of the Vince Russo "gotcha!" variety rather than one that makes sense.

Checking the cards, Gatekeeper/Daimyo/Dead Ringer was actually 6'4"...but, well...getting the height wrong by an inch would hardly be the biggest mistake Tom has made with a card. But my guess is that it's someone new. Or, a robot working on behalf of someone.

I think Swarm's Morpheus comments DID "sink in". I also think several folks have still embraced the idea.

Did you get the latest GWF FILES? It suggests that Crossbow (dead for how long?!) will be returning soon.

I think so many people want to wrap the GWF up in reality that they forget that a wrestling federation packed with aliens, transevolvers, super science and technology means that Morpheus' death (or ANYBODY"S for that matter) really means nothing in terms of a possible reutrn.

In case there's confusion, let me be clear; I don't personally think it's Morpheus (again, Thantos is my gut response, but I did pick up a clue pointing elsewhere), but I wouldn't call people clueless for saying that simply because he's dead.

i really think it is someone new...Someone Mother Superior has ties to who has ties to Thantos and Star Warrior, but not someone we know, other than as Iron Hand!

Gatekeeper/Dead Ringer/Diamyo I think the guy took a year off and will be back in connection with Iron Hand, but he is not The Main Event.

Of course i am always wrong so don't take anything i say as close to being correct...it is all GUESStimation!
