I like the victory for Albright and Danielson over Inoki and Rikidozan and that Hennig is holding strong in the RoV!

Thanks for reading, Neily. I hope to get back to it and play a few more cards before National Novel Writing Month starts.

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 122: The show opened with two announcements regarding the upcoming show in Japan in three weeks. First, it was announced that Rikidozan and Bryan Danielson would be teaming to take on Erick Stevens and Steve Williams. Secondly, it was announced that Brent Albright would be taking on Giant Baba one on one. The Masked Superstar & King Kong Bundy vs. Steve Corino & Adam Pearce: Bundy & Superstar isolated Corino and wore him down. Bundy hit the Avalanche for a near fall and tagged in Superstar. Superstar locked on the Cobra Hold for the win. Mil Mascaras vs. Crossbones: Mascaras thoroughly outclassed Crossbones, getting a quick win via the Crossbody Attack. Tyler Black vs. Delirious: Black and Delrious wrestled a fast paced match. Lee took control about five minutes in and got the win via the Phoenix Splash. Chris Hero vs. Virgil: Hero dominated Virgil, getting the win via the Hero's Welcome in under two minutes. It was announced that next week would feature a four man mini tournament for a shot at the Ring of Victory Grand Championship! Brent Albright vs. Necro Butcher: Albright quicklly took Butcher down and locked on the Crowbar for the win. After the match, Albright got on the mic and promised to make Giant Baba tap out in Japan in three weeks. Jimmy Jacobs & Brodie Lee vs. Mike Quackenbush & Eddie Kingston - Ring of Victory Tag Team titles: It looked as if Ring of Victory would have new tag team champions as Quackenbush and Kingston isolated Jacobs and worked him over. Jacobs was busted open by Kingston's Yakuza Kick and the momentum shifted. Jacobs worked on Kingston's neck with the End Time and tagged in Lee. Lee hit Kingston and Quackenbush like a bulldozer, working both men over with Big Boots to the face. Lee tagged Jacobs back in and Jacobs got the win with an End Time on Quackenbush in their tenth defense as champions, just on defense shy from tying the record set by the Kings of Wrestling. Curt Hennig vs. Erick Stevens - Ring of Victory Grand Championship: Stevens mauled Hennig during the first five minutes, scoring a near fall with the Doctor Bomb. Hennig rallied and worked on Steven's neck with the rolling neck snap before hitting the Hennig Plex for the win. next week: - Chris Hero vs. Doctor Cube
- Jimmy Jacobs & Brodie Lee vs. The Heartbreak Express - RoV Tag Team titles
- Four Man mini tournament for a shot at the RoV Grand Championship
- Brent Albright vs. Arik Cannon
- Bryan Danielson vs. Tyler Black

I was gunning for an Albright-Danielson final. As you can see, that didn't happen.
