Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 128: The show opened with the announcement that in two weeks when Ring of Victory returns to Japan, the main event will feature Curt Hennig defending the Ring of Victory gold. His opponent will be announced next week. Steve Williams & Erick Stevens vs. Delirious & Ultramantis Black: Williams and Stevens mauled Ultramantis in the opening minutes. Mantis made the hot tag to Delirious and Delirious received more of the same, recieving a Backdrop Driver from Williams before Stevens hit the Doctor Bomb for a near fall. Stevens tagged in Doc and Williams hit the Oklahoma Stampede for the win. J.D. Michaels vs. Crossbones: Crossbones attacked Michaels before the bell and busted him open. The match spilled outside the ring and Crossbones smashed Michaels over the head with a chair, drawing the DQ. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chuck Taylor: Claudio mauled Taylor, busting him open with his vicious European Uppercuts before hitting the Ricola bomb for the win. Chris Hero vs. Dustin Lee: Lee beat Hero in short order, hitting the Swinging DDT for the win. Tyler Black vs. One Man Gang: Gang busted Black open early with vicious punches. He put Black down with the face first suplex for a two count and then hit the 747. Black managed to kick out to the shock of the crowd. Gang went for the 747 a second time and Black rolled out of the way! Black went to the top and hit the Phoenix splash for a near fall. Gang got to his feet, only to be taken down after a series of vicious kicks to the face. Black went to the top again and hit a second Phoenix Splash for the win. Brent Albright vs. John Pesek: Albright and Pesek brought the house down with their display of technical wrestling. Pesek wore down Albright with his Tiger Man Toe Hold and Double Wristlock but the shooter wouldn't stay down. He hit the Exploder suplex and followed it up with the crowbar but Pesek made it to the ropes. Albright slapped on the sharpshooter in the center of the ring and got the victory. After the match, Albright challenged Hennig to face him in Japan but was attacked from behind by Pesek. One Man Gang soon joined the attack and gave Albright the 747 from the top rope. Security pulled Pesek and One Man Gang off of Albright but the damage was done. Albright had to be stretchered out, clutching his ribs. Jimmy Jacobs & Brodie Lee vs. Mike Quackenbush & Eddie Kingston - Ring of Victory Tag Team titles: Jacobs and Lee isolated Quackenbush from the start. Lee hit Quack with several big boots and Jacobs put him away with the End Time to retain the gold. After the match, Quackenbush struggled to his feet, only to have Kingston nearly take his head off with the Lariat! The crowd showered him with trash as Kingston left the ring area. next week: - Bryan Danielson vs. Brodie Lee

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 129: Williams & Stevens vs. Dustin Lee & Drake Younger: Williams and Stevens dominated Lee & Younger. Williams hit the Backdrop Driver twice on each men before finishing Younger with a third Backdrop Driver. UltraMantis Black vs. Ricky Landell: Landell beat Black by DQ after the match spilled out of the ring. Delirious vs. Arik Cannon: Delirious dominated Cannon, winning after Chemical Imbalance #2 Bryan Danielson vs. Brodie Lee: Danielson and Lee fought a brutal, hard-hitting match. The two former Ring of Victory Grand Champions knocked each other senseless with brutal strikes. Lee hit the big boot twice but couldn't keep Danielson down. Danielson made a comeback and made Lee tap out to the Cattle Mutilation after two unsuccessful attempts. Mike Quackenbush vs. Eddie Kingston: Kingston started strong but Quackenbush hit the tilt a whirl backbreaker out of nowhere for the win. Rikidozan vs. Jimmy Jacobs Rikdozan mauled Jimmy Jacobs, knocking him unconscious with the Thunderous chops. Brodie Lee stormed the ring and nearly took Rikidozan's head off with the big boot. Danielson hit Lee with the Yakuza kick from behind and brawled with Jimmy Jacobs as the show went off the air. next week: - Inoki & Baba vs. Williams & Stevens

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 130 (from Japan): Inoki & Baba vs. Williams & Stevens: Williams and Stevens wore down Baba with their power attacks. Baba made a comeback and tagged in Inoki. Inoki battered both men with multiple Enzuigiris and tagged in Baba. Baba hit the Neckbreaker Drop on Stevens for the win. Chuck Taylor vs. Tiger Mask: Taylor started strong but was no match for Tiger Mask. Tiger Mask hit the Tiger Suplex for a near fall before getting the win with the Piledriver. Drake Younger vs. The Sheik - Texasd Death match: Younger controled the opening minutes of the match, scoring near falls with the half nelson and the light tube. The Sheik made a comeback, scoring a near fall with the elbow drop. After two unsuccessful attempts, the Sheik hit Younger with a fireball for the win. Brent Albright vs. The One Man Gang: Albright attacked Gang at the opening bell and never let up. Albright scored near falls with the Exploder and the Half Nelson Suplex before locking on the Crowbar. Gang made it to the ropes but Albright locked on the Crowbar the second time for the win. After the match, Albright told Curt Hennig he was coming for him if he made it through the main event. Jacobs & Lee vs. Rikidozan & Danielson - RoV Tag Team titles: These two teams pulled out all the stops in what might have been the best match in ROV history. Lee wore down Danielson & Rikidozan with his big boots. Danielson worked on both men with the Triangle Choke and the Cattle Mutilation. Rikdozan pelted both members of the opposing team with Thunderous chops. It looked as if Rikidozan and Danielson were on their way to becoming ROV Tag Team champions when Jacobs hit Rikidozan with the railroad spike. Jacobs tagged in Lee who nailed Rikidozan with the big boot, nearly knocking him unconscious. Danielson made the save and a wild brawl errupted. The referee restrored order and Rikidozan made the hot tag. Danielson and Lee exchanged brutal strikes but Danielson took one big boot too many and Lee got the pinfall, Jacobs and Lee's 14th successful defense. Curt Hennig vs. Tyler Black - RoV Grand Championship Black attacked Hennig with his arsenal of kicks, wearing him down. Black hit the Phoenix Splash for a near fall, followed by the Paroxym for a second near fall. Hennig made a comeback and hit the Hennig Plex for a two count. Black staggered to his feet but was caught off guard. Hennig hit the Axe for the three count to retain. Brent Albright made his way down to ringside. The show went off the air with Hennig and Albright staring one another down. next week: - Steve Williams & Erick Stevens vs. The Heartbreak Express

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 131: Williams & Stevens vs. Heartbreak Express: Williams and Stevens pitted their power against the double team tactics of the Heartbreak Express. Though the Express was in fine form, they were no match for the fury of Williams and Stevens. Doc got the win after hitting the Oklahoma Stampede on Sean. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Belgian Brawer: Cladio destroyed the Belgian Brawler, winning with the Ricola Bomb in near record time. Timber vs. Chuck Taylor: Timber mauled Chuck Taylor, winning with the Log Splitter. Chris Hero vs. Delirious: Hero and Delirious pulled out all the stops, each badly needing a win. Hero wore down Delirious with the Rubik's Cubebefore putting him away with Hero's Welcome. Bryan Danielson vs. Tyler Black: Danielson and Black tore the house down with an amazing display of wrestling ability. Danielson couldn't get Black to tap out via the Cattle Mutiliation and Black couldn't put Danielson away with the Phoenix Splash. Danielson scored with a small package out of nowhere for the win. Mike Quackenbush vs. Eddie Kingston - Last Man Standing: Quackenbush and Kingston wrestled a long and grueling match, torturing one another with their signature moves. Kingston got the win after nearly knocking Quackenbush unconscious with the back fist and following it up with a brutal lariat. next week: - Bryan Danielson vs. Claudio Castagnoli

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 132: Samoan Island Tribe vs. The Backseat Boys (with Jim Cornette): The returning Backseat Boys functioned like a well-oiled machine with Jim Cornette at the helm. Acid hit the Acid Bomb on Samu for a two count and tagged in Kashmere. Kashmere hit the T-Gimmick for another near fall. Acid hoisted Samu up and delivered a second Acid Bomb for the win. The Perfect Trio were seen bickering in the lockerroom over Pesek and Gang's inability to stop Brent Albright. Fed up, Pesek left and said he wasn't coming back. Drake Younger vs. Chris Hero: Younger and Hero fought the best match of the night with many near falls. Younger busted a light tube over Hero's head. Hero rolled out of the ring and was counted out. Matches were announced for episode 135 from Japan. - Inoki & Baba vs. The Road Warriors

- Bryan Danielson vs. his tag team partner Rikidozan, for a shot at the ROV Grand Championship on episode 140 from Japan

Dustin Lee vs. Necro Butcher: Butcher dominated Lee, powerbombing him off the apron and hitting the Tiger Driver for the win in brutal fashion. Bryan Danielon vs. Claudio Castagnoli: Danielson was like a shark, quicklyl taking Claudio down with his suplexes and locking on the Cattle Mutilation for the win. Castagnoli was favoring his arm after the match. Jimmy Jacobs & Brodie Lee vs. Steve Williams & Erick Stevens for the ROV Tag Team titles: Williams and Lee exchanged brutal strikes. Lee busted Williams open with a pair of Big Boots, then Williams made a comeback and hit the backdrop driver and the Oklahoma Stampede. Williams tagged in Stevens, who hit the Doctor Bomb, only to have Jacobs make the save. A wild brawl broke out and Jacobs took control, three times locking on the End Time. Williams made the save and the match spilled outside the ring. Stevens dropped Jacobs across the guardrail in full view of the referee, drawing the DQ. Lee & Jacobs have defended the ROV titles 15 times, tying the Road Warriors's record with the LAW Tag Titles and are five defenses away from tying the Fabulous Kangaroos record of 20 successful defenses from their record breaking reign as AWF Tag Team champions. Curt Hennig vs. Brent Albright for the ROV Grand Championship: Albright dominated Hennig with his power, hitting numerous suplexes and coming within an eyelash of victory with the half nelson suplex. Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 133: Naptown Dragons vs. Young Bucks: Scott Vortekz first match back wasn't a successful one. The Young Bucks put on their best match to date, scoring the pinfall after More Bang For Your Buck on Lee. Curt Hennig and One Man Gang were seen in the back, talking to Playboy Buddy Rose. Mike Quackenbush vs. Tyler Black: Quack and Black fought a fast-paced match with many near falls. Black missed the Phoenix Splash, enabling Quackenbush to hit the Quackendriver II for the win. Claudio Castagnoli vs. One Man Gang: Castagnolli fought hard and busted Gang open with European Uppercuts but couldn't keep the big man down. Gang took over and wore Castagnoli down with the face first suplex before hitting the 747 for the win. Drake Younger vs. Necro Butcher - #1 contenders match: Butcher and Younger renewed their old rivalry, hitting each other with anything that wasn't nailed down. Butcher powerbombed Younger off the apron and got the win with the Tiger Driver. Curt Hennig (with Buddy Rose) vs. Eddie Kingston - RoV Grand Championship: Hennig dominated early on but couldn't keep Kingston down for long. Kingston scored near falls with the backfist and two lariats. Sensing trouble, Hennig rolled out to the floor. Kingston followed and was attacked by Buddy Rose. Hennig and Rose double teamed Kingston on the outside, earning the DQ. After the match, Albright ran down to ringside and saved Kingston from further harm. Albright got on the mic and said Hennig was worthless without people watching his back and protecting his title. Buddy Rose, in street clothes, challenged Albright to an impromptu match. Brent Albright vs. Buddy Rose: Rose seemed hampered by his lack of ring gear. Albright took full advantage, suplexing Rose out of his penny loafers and locking on the Crowbar. Rose made it to the ropes and rolled out of the ring. Albright followed and hit the exploder on the announce table. Rose couldn't answer the count and was counted out. Erick Stevens vs. Jimmy Jacobs: Stevens softened Jacobs up with his suplexes and the Doctor Bomb. The match spilled out of the ring and Jacobs got busted open. Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 134: Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Samoan Island Tribe London & Kendrick used quick tags high flying offense to wear down the Samoan Island Tribe. London got the win after a 450 Splash on Alofa. Terry Gordy vs. the Belgian Brawler Gordy steamrolled the Belgian Brawler in his debut, getting the win with a big Powerbomb. Bryan Danielson vs. J.D. Michaels Danielson avenged his count out loss to Michaels weeks ago. Danielon knocked Michaels down with the Yakuza kick and locked on the Cattle Mutilation for an easy win. Eddie Kingston vs. The One Man Gang: Kingston attacked the Gang before the bell but the Gang swatted him down and proceede to beat Kingston to a bloody pulp. Gang nearly knocked Kingston out with the face first suplex before hitting the 747 for the win. Jimmy Jacobs & Brodie Lee vs. Steve Williams & Erick Stevens - ROV Tag Team titles: Jacobs and Lee wore down Stevens with their finishers but Stevens wouldn't stay down. Stevens made the hot tag to Williams and Williams destroyed Brodie Lee, bouncing him all over the ring with his power attack before hitting the Oklahoma Stampede for the win. Steve Williams & Erick Stevens have dethroned Jacobs & Lee to become the ROV Tag Team Champions!
