Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 135: Inoki & Baba vs. the Road Warriors: The Road Warriors isolated Inoki and knocked him senseless with devastating power moves. THe Road Warriors got the win after a Doomsday Device on Inoki. Andre the Giant vs. the Belgian Brawler: Andre the Giant overwhelmed the Brawler with his unbelievable strength, squashing him in the corner and hitting the sitdown splash before hitting the Big Splash for the win. Chris Hero vs. Terry Gordy: Hero tried to muster some offense but Gordy couldn't be contained. The big man stunned Hero with the Oriental Spike and then flattened him with a brutal powerbomb for the three count. Drake Younger & Dustin Lee vs. The Sheik & Sabu: Sheik & Sabu isolated Younger and bloodied him with foreign objects before Sabu got the submission victory via the Camel Clutch in a bloody and mercifully short match. Rikidozan vs. Bryan Danielson - shot at the ROV Grand Championship on card 140: Their partnership temporarily forgotten, Danielson and Rikidozan lit one another up with brutal strikes. Danielson scored near falls with the Yakuza Kick and the Cattle Mutilation. Rikidozan made a comeback and pelted Danielson with several Thunderous Chops until Danielson could barely defend himself. Rikidozan hit the Hiplock for a near fall, the Japanese crowd rising to its feet as Danielson kicked out. Danielson made it to his feet, only to be chopped into unconsciousness by the father of Puroresu. Rikidozan covered Danielson for the three count. Rikidozan will face the ROV Grand Champion the next time ROV comes to Japan. Curt Hennig vs. Jushin Liger - Ring of Victory Grand Championship: Liger caught Hennig off guard at the opening bell, dazzling him with high flying tactics and creating some tense moments for the champ. Hennig made a comeback and his aggressive tactics wore down the smaller Liger. Hennig hit the Axe for a near fall, then put Liger away with the Hennig Plex to retain the title, his eighth successful defense, tying the reigns of Masked Superstar & Strangler Lewis. next: - London & Kendrick vs. the Heartbreak Express

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 136: London & Kendrick vs. The Heartbreak Express: The Express started strong but couldn't stand up to the fast and furious offense of London & Kendrick. After two Sliced Bread #2's on Sean, Kendrick tagged in London. London hit the 450 Splash for the win. A promo for the King of Victory tournament was shown. The KOV tournament qualifiers start in two weeks so stay tuned! Larry Sweeney and Adam Pearce walked out to the ring. Sweeney said he'd rebuilt Sweet and Sour International with the best lineup yet. He brought out the Mongols and they flanked Adam Pearce. Next, Sweeney introduced Nigel McGuinness as the centerpiece of of S&S International. Once McGuinness entered the ring, Pearce asked what his place in S&S International was. Sweeney said Pearce's services were no longer required and a four on one attack ensued. Pearce managed to roll out of the ring and escape through the crowd before too much damage was done but was visibly favoring an arm. Nigel McGuinness vs. Savage T: McGuinness laid into Savage T with brutal strikes and wore him down with his offenese. McGuinness locked on the Cobra Clutch and Savage T had no choice but to submit. J.D. Michaels vs. Terry Gordy: Michaels made the mistake of trying to exchange blows with Gordy and it was the last mistake he made. Gordy hit the Oriental Spike for a near fall and then followed it up with a brutal powerbomb for the win. The camera panned to the back where Curt Hennig and One Man Gang were talking in the lockerroom. Hennig told Gang to put Rikidozan out next week. Gang laughed, saying he'd be glad to. Delirious vs. Jimmy Jacobs: Jacobs attacked the former Age of the Fall member at the opening bell and never let up. Jacobs locked on the End Time but Delirious made it to the ropes. Jacobs busted open Delirious with the railroad spike and locked on the End Time a second time for the win. Before the next match, Brent Albright said he was tired of being passed over and challenged Antonio Inoki to a match in four weeks, when ROV returns to Japan. Brent Albright vs. Brodie Lee: Lee attacked Albright while he was taking off his vest and proceeded to brutalize the Shooter, hitting four big boots for the win. Steve Williams & Erick Stevens vs. The Young Bucks: Williams and Stevens bulldozed the Young Bucks. After Stevens softened Matt up, Williams put him away with three brutal German Suplexes to retain the titles. next: - Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Danny Doring & Roadkill

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 137: Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. Danny Doring & Roadkill: Roadkill mauled London, hitting the Lariat of Lust. Doring attacked but London made the hot tag to Kendrick. Kendrick took the fight to Doring, hitting Sliced Bread #2 before putting him away with the Rolling Front Cradle. A taped message from the Masked Superstar aired on the jumbotron. Superstar said he'd love to return to ROV to run Antonio Inoki out of town but had other things to do. Instead, he's sent his protege to do his work for him, Masked Superstar II! Masked Superstar II vs. Savage T: T jumped Superstar before the bell and attacked him with a chair. T tried the Vertebreaker but the Masked Superstar II was about a hundred pounds too heavy. Superstar II took over and threw Savage T all over the ring as if he were a toy. Superstar II hit the Backbreaker for the easy win. The announce team hyped the King of Victory tournament, this years qualifiers set to start next week. Highlights of the past two King of Victory tournaments were shown. A graphic showing the King of Victory Tournament Qualifying matches was displayed: - Eddie Kingston vs. Chuck Taylor

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Brodie Lee: The two big men fought a hard-hitting match. Lee, fresh off a big win over Brent Albright, took control and beat Castagnoli wth three Big Boots. Eddie Kingston vs. Terry Gordy: Kingston attacked at the opening bell but couldn't phase Gordy. Gordy took over and battered Kingston with brutal strikes. Gordy hit the Oriental Spike for the easy win. Nigel McGuinness (with Larry Sweeney) vs. Adam Pearce: Pearce took McGuinness down and nearly got the submission victory via the Figure Four Leglock. McGuinness escaped the hold and made a comeback, scoring a near fall with the London Dungeon and twice hitting the Jawbreaker Lariat. Pearce made it to his knees before McGuinness locked on the London Dungeon for the win. One Man Gang vs. Rikidozan: Gang and Rikidozan fought a brutal match, busting one another open with brutal strikes. Rikidozan hit his overhand chops and scored a near fall. One Man Gang's eye began to swell shut from the force of the blows. Gang made a comeback, knocking Rikidozan down. Gang went for the 747 but Rikidozan rolled out of the way. The Gang struggled to his feet but Rikidozan knocked him senseless with the Thunderous Chops. Rikidozan covered the semi-conscious OMG for the three count. After the match, the referee had to help OMG to the back, his eye swollen to the size of an apple. next week: - Andre the Giant vs. Crossbones

Ring of Victory Battlefield episode 138: The show opened with Frank Gotch joining the announce team as the new color man. Doring & Roadkill vs. The Mongols (with Larry Sweeney): The Mongols destroyed Doring & Roadkill with their tandem offense. Roadkill lost the fall after a brutal Mongolian Drop. Andre the Giant vs. Crossbones: Andre destroyed Crossbones, wearing him down with the sitdown splash and the turnbuckle squash before hitting the Big Splash for the win. After the match, Drake Younger grabbed a ringside mic and berated Andre the Giant, saying it was because of guys like him Younger wasn't getting booked. Younger challenged Andre to face him in Japan in two weeks. The Giant agreed and the match has been made. Ricky Landell vs. Paul London: London frustrated Landell with his superior agility. After hitting the 450 and Standing Moonsaults for near falls, London went to the top and hit the flying crossbody for the win. Eddie Kingston vs. Chuck Taylor (King of Victory Qualifier): Taylor charged Kingston at the bell. Kingston grabbed Taylor and hit the uranage for the win in less than ten second. Kingston wins a spot in the King of Victory tournament. Adam Pearce vs. Brodie Lee (King of Victory Qualifier): The announcers noted that Lee won the ROV Grand Championsihp from Pearce last year and the match began. Lee and Pearce attacked each other full throttle. After a few minutes of hard hitting brawling, Pearce hit the spinebuster for a near fall, followed by the figure four leglock. Pearce hoisted Lee up and hit the Piledriver for the win. Pearce wins a spot in the King of Victory tournament. Curt Hennig & Buddy Rose vs. Rikidozan & Bryan Danielson: Hennig and Rikidozan started the match and tore into one another. Rikidozan blasted Hennig with hard strikes and got a near fall with the Hiplock. Hennig battled back and hit the HennigPlex for a near fall. Hennig tagged in Rose and Rose hit the Bombs Away on the father of puroresu. Rikidozan made the tag to Danielson and Danielson went on the attack, bloodying Rose with MMA strikes and locking on the Cattle Mutilation three times. Rose got to the ropes, only to have Danielson drag him to the center of the ring and lock on the Crossface Chickenwing for the win. next week: - London & Kendrick vs. The Mongols
