This angle hit a snag when my Hackenschmidt card came up missing. Never fear, the replacement's on its way thanks to the fine folks at Filsinger Games. In the mean time, enjoy some AWF action. Can Jim Londos hang on to the belt with both Curt Hennig and former champ Dr. Death Steve William gunning for him?

Does RoV & AWF co-exist in the same timestream? (Just asking because there is some great cross over potential)

They do indeed co-exist. I've carefully plotted Ivan Koloff and Stranger Lewis travelling back and forth. Rikidozan stayed in RoV a little longer than I meant him to but since the shows are on different nights I think it'll slide. Future plans include a third co-existing fed and eventual talent exchange and invasion angles.

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 38 The show opened with clips of Hackenschmidt's brutal attack on Frank Gotch at the end of last week's show. It was announced that Gotch had been hospitalized because of a punctured lung and would be out indefinitely. It was also announced that Ring of Victory won't sanction any matches involving George Hackenschmidt pending further review. The Armstrongs beat the Naptown Dragons in decisive fashion to open the show, winning after a Russian Leg Sweep on Lee. The Armstrongs will get a shot at the tag team titles next week. Diamond Dallas Page was seen wandering around backstage, looking for the Heartbreak Express, who are scheduled for a shot at the RoV Tag Team titles later tonight. Jim Cornette entered the ring, followed by George Hackenschmidt and Ox Baker, Baker wearing a referee's shirt. Cornette said that Gotch finally got what he deserved. He dared any RoV wrestler to step into the ring with the Russian Lion, George Hackenschmidt, with Ox Baker being the impartial referee. Out came Savage T to accept the challenge. George Hackenschmidt destroyed Savage T, winning with the Russian Bear Hug, the very hold that put Frank Gotch in the hospital. Baker, Cornette, and Hackenschmidt were escorted from the ring by security after the match, as the crowd seemed to be getting a little out of control. Still no sign of the Heartbreak Express as DDP abandoned his search to prepare for his match later tonight. In a match for a shot at the RoV Grand Championship, Ricky Landell put up a good fight but lost to Timber after FOUR Logsplitters. Timber will take on Strangler Lewis next week for a shot at the RoV Grand Championship. Mike Quackenbush lost to Diamond Dallas Page via the Diamond Cutter in a short match. Drake Younger lost to Larry Sweeney in a bloody match via the 12 Large Elbow Drop. Sweeney took a tremendous amount of punishment during the match and got an ovation from the crowd when his hand was raised. It was announced that the qualifying rounds for the King of Victory tournament would start in two weeks time. The Kings of Wrestling entered the ring and made the referee count out the Heartbreak Express, who no-showed the event. RoV Commissioner Charlie Cox came out and said that the fans deserved a title match. Out came.... The James Gang! In an impromptu RoV Tag Team title match, the Kings of Wrestling lost to the James Gang by DQ when Hero slammed Kip James with a chair in full view of the referee. The James Gang dominated most of the match and were well on their way to victory before the DQ. As the James Gang were getting their hands raised, the Heartbreak Express came from the crowd in street clothes and attacked the them. The Kings of Wrestling joined the fray and the show went off the air with the three teams brawling around the ringside area. next week: - The James Gang take on the Heartbreak Express
- Mike Quackenbush and Diamond Dallas Page in a rematch from this week
- Strangler Lewis vs. Timber for the RoV Grand Championship

Ring of Victory Battlefield Episode 39 The show opened with the Heartbreak Express in the ring, complaining about someone cancelling their plane tickets and rental car reservation last week. The James Gang's music hit and B.G. told them they should be more careful about their travel arrangements. The two teams stared each other down as GMC made his introductions. The James Gang lost to the Heartbreak Express in a five star match after Kip fell to the Heartbreaker. The Heartbreak Express wrestled the match of their careers against the James Gang and won a hard-fought match. Jim Cornette entered the ring with George Hackenschmidt and impartial referee Ox Baker. Cornette ran down Frank Gotch and dared anyone to come out and face the Russian Lion. The Belgian Brawler answered the challenge. George Hackenschmidt decimated the Belgian Brawler, winning with a Twisting Heel Hook. After the match, Hackenschmidt press slammed Brawler over the top rope and through a press table. Arik Cannon lost to J.D. Michaels after a Top Rope Elbow Drop. Michaels looked very impressive in his return to Ring of Victory. Mike Quackenbush lost to Diamond Dallas Page after two Diamond Cutters. In a short match, Drake Younger lost to Ricky Landell by DQ after hitting him with a light tube. After the DQ, Younger continued his assault, breaking another light tube over Landell's head before Steve Corino entered the ring. Younger and Corino brawled into the crowd until being swarmed by security. In the main event, Ring of Victory Grand Champion Strangler Lewis beat Timber in short order, winning after two Strangler's Headlocks. next week: - Delirous vs. Necro Butcher in a qualifying match for the King of Victory tournament
- Drake Younger vs. Steve Corino in a qualifying match for the King of Victory tournament
- The Kings of Wrestling defend the Ring of Victory Tag Team titles against the Armstrongs
