Yeah this whole "boo hoo I might retire" is just a ruse to get everyone to cheer for HHH out of sympathy.
He should've come out and said "Well Brock, you broke my arm and beat me, but I'm set for life and will run the company soon and I also get to bang Stephanie. I'm okay, trust me. See you guys in 6 months when I start my Mania build".
That would have been awesome (and hilarious), but instead we get this crap. Oh well.

Then Brock could follow with, "I've got Sable . . . and 2 arms." As for the rest of the show, Ziggler needs to dump Vicki. She's done a great job and getting him heat, but if he wants to be taken seriously as a main event wrestler, he needs to show he can stand on his own. If they want him to have someone to interfere for him, give him a rookie or diva and let Vicki get someone else over. I'm already sick of Ryback. So was he or Swagger responsible for that vicious back body botch where Swagger looked like he landed on his neck? Truth/Bryan; promising match, stupid ending. I hope we see a Bryan/Sky feud in the future, but without a stupid storyline. So AC wins the US Title, yet they keep showing Santino. Way to get your new guy over, WWE. The fans are going to cheer Punk no matter what he does. Vince just needs to get over that.

i'm getting tired of worked retirements. and i'm not sure Hunter out there crying really makes sense for either his character or who he is.
As soon as the Cena match came on i changed the channel. i think we should all start that practice.

the only part I really enjoyed during the whole show was the Anger Management segments with Daniel Bryan. He was great in that! Otherwise, the rest of the show was pretty bland overall.

For all of the complaints about Triple H, I gotta say I don't think WWE cares if a few people on this board are bored with Triple H and vow to change the channel and/or boycott pay per views because of Triple H. My understanding is that WWE has expectations that Summerslam has drawn better this year than in previous years, and the top billing and main event featured Triple H in it.
Lots of people on this board thought that Triple H's ego was so big they feared he'd go over. Now that Triple H lost, the question is 'when' is Triple H going to win the rematch.
I don't get it. The point is, Triple H is a big name and will always be a big name. He has value to the show. I love CM Punk and Daniel Bryan for their workrate, but Triple H is always what the prototypical "professional wrestler" looks like to the general audience. And quite frankly we don't have any of those who work full time on the upper card anymore, with the exception of Sheamus and Randy Orton. Not even John Cena has the traditional "look." And Triple H to me is still the ideal guy to feed to Brock Lesnar before Lesnar probably guns after Undertaker's streak. Why waste a full time WWE talent on what is essentially just a special attraction match?
