Black Knight #4 just came out this week. I just saw. Yeah I got that issue, but after March there is no issue being released in April and so that might mean it's cancelled... I see, I misunderstood. I hope it isn't actually canceled though. It was an interesting book.

I just bought and read the five volumes of the new 52 Nightwing Series, now to track down the Grayson trades to get caught up on my favourite former Robin

You reading Red Wolf at all? I just finished issue 2 and I am liking what I am seeing so far. I hope he can become a regular. Marvel needs to keep creating new heroes.

It was posted by the writer it was because of sales... You reading Red Wolf at all? I just finished issue 2 and I am liking what I am seeing so far. I hope he can become a regular. Marvel needs to keep creating new heroes. I looked at it, but it didn't catch my interest. I am now reading Silver Surfer, I really like Mike Allred's work and this book has caught my interest...

The Slott/Allred run on Silver Surfer was my favorite of the last several years. Very Doctor Who-ish.

Well, Red Wolf isn't exactly a new character but this brings up an interesting situation in the comics world that this recent Marvel reboot illuminates. Titles like Red Wolf and Black Knight, or any other third tier character, are published now and then primarily to keep the trademarks for the character names. And those titles are usually cancelled right away. Totally a business move. I think Crimson Cross is a little like me and likes to see lesser-used characters get the spotlight but I've learned not to get attached to them because they are usually short-lived. I've wanted a good run for Deathlok for a while now and when they finally do one it only lasted a brief time. Frustrating.

I'm with you for sure on seeing characters like Black Knight in their own series, but having a short run is par for the course and yes its frustrating, but I'll read something else. I was going to pick up the new Powerman & Iron Fist book, but I'm not sure yet if I will...

Two of my favorite characters. If you haven't already, you should check out the Iron Fist: Living Weapon title they did last year. It was pretty good.
