I'm loving the tease of talent reveals. I'm already excited to see what Lee Moriarity will bring to PWIS. Thanks cruefan68 . Moriarty has some potential. Starting out, I'm kind of dividing the talent up into competitive and storyline tracks. Moriarty will be in the competitive mix until the dice say otherwise.

I totally get it. I thought about posting a similar build up in my own Indy Fed and felt the exact same way.

Jordan Oliver promo:
“Man. Back when I was a kid dreaming about being a professional wrestler, PWIS was the place. As I was coming up, I never got a chance to work there. Just when I was about ready to make that step, those doors closed. Now what, two years later? They’re back. And it’s not gonna be about if I’m ready for them. It’s gonna be about if they’re ready for me.”

RULES CONSISTENCY
Joe Dombrowski: “We often hear debate in the wrestling world about the rules of professional wrestling. Or, more accurately, the consistency of the rules. Why is someone disqualified for an action in one match and not disqualified two weeks later for the same exact violation. Are chairs legal objects now? How much outside interference can you get away with before something is done about it? Are there count outs anymore? Is it just a matter of different referees enforcing the rules differently? Or, more controversially, is it the office overlooking infractions when it comes to certain situations or involving specific wrestlers? We at Pro Wrestling Independent Spirit believe in rules consistency. However, we also believe some matches warrant different levels of rules enforcement. We’ve all seen excellent matches end with deflating disqualifications or count outs. Sometimes a match needs to be more of a fight and thus the rules more flexible. Other times strict rules are important for the integrity of the result. It is with this in mind that PWIS will be instituting a rules system to better accommodate the needs of any given match. The rules will be defined at three different levels:
Level 1 - Strict Rules The standard rules of professional wrestling apply. Disqualifications can occur for the use of foreign objects, outside interference, failure to obey the referee, making physical contact with an official, etc. There will be a ten count outside of the ring. Tag team rules will also be stringently enforced.
Level 2 - Relaxed Rules Disqualifications occur only for outside interference and physical contact with a referee. No count outs. The referee has the discretion to stop a match at any time if they feel it has become out of control or a participant is no longer able to safely continue. Tag team matches will be contested under lucha-style rules.
Level 3 - No Holds Barred Anything goes. Referee is present only to count a fall or confirm a submission. However, it is still within the referees purview to stop a match if warranted. Matches sanctioned at Level 3 will only be done so after careful consideration and are not intended to be a regular occurrence.
Rule level classification for any given match will take into account factors such as the fighting style of the participants, nature of the contest (grudge matches, etc.), and prestige of the contest (title matches, tournaments, and so on). It is expected that many of the matches as we start out will be at Level 1 to achieve a baseline and adjust to Level 2 where need arises. It is our hope that this system will provide a level of consistency that leads to greater enjoyment of our shows. Of course, we are always interested in what our fans have to say and appreciate any comments regarding this or any other aspect of our operations.
Thank you and see you at The Return.”
