The stream starts just as Larry Legend finishes hyping up the crowd.
Larry: “We are live on PWIS-TV and let’s get set for our opening contest.”
Tony Deppen vs. Orin Veidt
Joe: “Orin Veidt was the winner of the Earn Your Spot Scramble last month at The Irony of Man. Now he gets to show the PWIS fans what he can do in one-on-one competition.”
Veidt tries attacking Deppen from behind during the introductions but Tony is ready for him. Deppen takes Orin down with a dropkick to the knee and hits the ropes, rebounding with a Back of Head K.O. Blow. Cover by Deppen but only a two count. Tony strikes with the K.O. Blow again! Two count. Deppen’s anger shows and he drops Veidt on his head with a brainbuster. Deppen continues to pummel and stretch Veidt until Orin counters and plants Tony with a slingshot DDT. Top rope elbow drop by Veidt misses. Tony returns to his game plan until Veidt reverses him again. Falcon arrow crushes Deppen. Cradle Shock by Veidt for a near fall. Orin takes the fight to the floor where the two brawl through the crowd. Veidt finds a step ladder and prepares to bash Tony with it. Referee Kris Levin tries to intervene but Orin shoves him down and slams the ladder into Deppen's face. Levin calls for the disqualification. Veidt is in disbelief.
Joe: “Strong showing by Veidt but he learned that there are rules in PWIS and they are enforced.”
Winner: Tony Deppen
Angelina Love vs. Miranda Gordy
Joe: “Angelina is making her first appearance for PWIS. She is a well traveled and much decorated veteran. She's getting a mixed reaction from the fans tonight. Since there’s no telling what Love will do, we’ll see if she wins the fans over or turns then against her.”
The opening scuffle leads to a Samoan Drop by Love followed by a Codebreaker, putting Miranda in trouble early. Spinning wheel kick drops Gordy and Angelina covers for two. Koji Clutch weakens Gordy. Angelina works over her opponent until Miranda starts a comeback, leveling Love with a double axe handle. Angelina reverses a sunset flip for a near fall. Miranda right back with a Power Bomb for two. Another reversal as Angelina rolls up Gordy. Miranda hangs with Love but Angelina is wearing her down. Botox Injection by Angelina for the easy pin. Angelina shows good sportsmanship and helps the exhausted Gordy to her feet and raises her hand, respecting her effort.
Joe: “It looks like we get nice Angelina tonight. And the fans are showing their appreciation”
Winner: Angelina Love
Larry: “All right ladies and gentlemen let’s keep the ball rolling here.”
Besties In the Word vs. Godz of Destruction
The Godz try intimidating the Besties as introductions are made which leads to some shoving which leads to blows being thrown. Matt Fitchett and Madman Fulton remain in the ring as the ref gets the others to their corners. Fitchett evades Fulton’s attacks and the Besties work their double team magic on the big man and get a two count after Brain Damage. Vega goes for the Brain Eater and Fulton hurls him off before the count of one. Fulton leaves the ring with Vega in pursuit. Fulton slams Davey’s face on a merch table. Back in the ring, a powerbomb and Boston Crab by Fulton then tag out to Shane Mercer. “The Iron Demon” tosses Vega all over the ring with his powerful offense. Asmodeus Wrath into a pin for a two count. Davey fights back and is able to tag out. Fitchett with a sitout powerbomb and a Busaiku Knee. Cover for a near fall. Vega is back in. Air Raid Crash into a Sharpshooter has Mercer reaching for the tag. Vega pulls him away. Besties combine for Brain Damage again and get the pin on Mercer.
Joe: “The Besties In the World showing that they intend to be a force in the tag team division.”
Winner: Besties In the World
Lee Moriarty vs. Jordan Oliver
Joe: “This is the match many fans are wanting to see. Lee Moriarty is undefeated thus far and Jordan Oliver is 3-1 in PWIS competition. The winner of this match will elevate themselves immensely.”
The two men shake hands to get the match underway. Moriarty starts out with kick strikes and goes right to his rolling European clutch. Moriarty keeps Oliver off his feet and comes down hard with a seated double stomp. Seeing an opening, Moriarty locks on his Joint Custody submission. Jordan struggles and looks like he is about to tap but reaches the ropes by his fingertips. Moriarty doesn’t let up and immediately hits the Taigadriver X. 1-2-3.
Joe: “Dominant win by Lee Moriarty! His undefeated streak remains alive. Who has what it takes to beat him?”
Winner: Lee Moriarty
Larry introduces the individual participants of the next match as they come out. Chris Masters is the last man to enter and he stops and looks up into the ring where Calvin Tankman and KTB await. Masters stalls for a few moments then starts making his way through the crowd and approaches the announce position.
Joe: “These three men have traded wins among each and…”
Chris: “What’s the idea here, Dombrowski? You throw me in here against these two animals when you know I don’t have my back-up with me tonight? What kind of crap are you trying to pull?”
Joe: “Now, Chris, be reasonable…”
Chris: “You know what? I going to show you and everyone in this bingo hall that your little games aren’t going to work. Then… you and I are going to have words.”
Joe: “I… I… Let’s just get to the action in the ring.”
Chris Master vs. Calvin Tankman vs. KTB
Masters lingers at ringside as Tankman and KTB, tired of waiting, get started. KTB blasts Calvin with a big pump kick that puts him on his back. Incredible show of strength by KTB with a Beasthammer on Tankman. Calvin rolls out of the ring. KTB climbs to the top turnbuckle but Masters knocks him off, sending him crashing to the mat. Masters with a Samoan Drop and a flying shoulder tackle. KTB is knocked flat. Tankman is back and goes after Masters. Chris blocks a slam attempt and shows his strength with a scoop powerslam. KTB grabs Masters for an inverted atomic drop & splash. Tankman breaks up the pin attempt. Masters gives Tankman an inverted atomic drop of his own and stalks the staggered Tankman from behind. Masterlock! Calvin is close to succumbing but drives Masters back into the turnbuckles causing him to lose the hold. Sitout spinebuster and standing leg drop by Masters keeps Tankman down. Scoop powerslam and cover by Masters. KTB breaks it up. Go To Beast on Masters. Tankman interrupts the count. Brainbuster by Calvin to KTB. Two count. Masters takes over on Tankman. Inverted atomic drop, cover with feet on the ropes. KTB with a diving reverse head butt to break it up. Masters takes Go To Beast again. Tankman with the save. Tankman Driver on KTB. 1 - 2 - 2 ¾, kick out! Tankman misses a moonsault! Tankman and KTB trade. Go To Beast on Tankman. Impossible! Masters breaks it up. Masterlock on Tankman! Calvin gets to the ropes. Masters and KTB take turns trying to put Tankman away. Calvin takes a tremendous amount of punishment and staves off defeat multiple times. Tankman with fighting spirit. Digging deep, he goes after KTB. Brainbuster for a near fall. Tankman Driver for the win! No! Masters breaks it up. Soul crushing. Finally, Tankman can’t take any more. Neither Masters nor KTB can pick him up and neither will let the other get the pin. The referee indicates that they will need to settle this between the two of them. With the help of some ring crew, Tankman is removed from the ring where he collapses on the floor. KTB and Masters tiredly square off. Masters brushes aside a kick to the face and executes a scoop powerslam. Handful of tights but KTB still kicks out. Back and forth. Inverted atomic drop by Masters. Masterlock! KTB struggles. Sweat and fatigue prevent Masters from getting a good grip. KTB tries to muscle out. Masters strains, adjusts his grip, it’s in deep now! The ref checks and KTB is non-responsive. Ring the bell. Masters holds it a moment longer before flinging the limp form to the mat.
Winner: Chris Masters
Exhausted and fuming, Masters shakes off the fatigue and heads over to the announce position again. Breathing hard with hands on his hips, he stares down Joe. Chris then makes a weak swipe at the table, knocking everything off as Joe scrambles to get away. Masters stands seething.
Joe: “Take it easy, Chris…”
Masters glares at Joe a moment longer then leaves.
Joe: “Excuse us, ladies and gentlemen. We’re going to take a quick break so I can gather myself. We’ll be right back."
Joe: ”Okay, we’re back. And joining me is Jordan Oliver.”
Jordan: “That was intense, Joe. I think Chris Masters has beef with you.”
Joe: "You think? Let’s move on. Tough loss for you tonight. What are your thoughts?”
Jordan: “I’ll admit I’m really disappointed but Lee Moriarty is one of the best in the business and I’ll get another crack at him. I’m only getting better. It’ll be different next time.”
Joe: “With a positive attitude like that, I believe you. Alright, let’s get to our main event.”
The crowd pops as their local hero, Gary Jay, is introduced. Then Nick Gage’s music plays which gets a big reception as well. Gage steps through the curtain and takes a couple of steps, surveying the crowd. After a moment, he motions towards the curtain and Wes Barkley steps out. Wes is wearing blue jeans and a white tank top, head bowed.
Joe: “What in the world is going on here?”
Gage starts up the aisle and Wes meekly follows. Nick stops and turns to cuff Barkely upside the head. Wes hastily reaches out and puts his finger in a belt loop of Gage’s pants. In this way, the two continue toward the ring. Gary Jay doesn’t know what to make of the bizarre scene as the pair approach.
Joe: “What…? I don’t understand.”
Jordan: “Joe! Don’t you know what that is?”
Joe: “Wait. Oh, no…”
Jordan: “Ah ha ha! Bitch Barkley, yo!”
Joe: “Oh, Wes. What happened?”
At ringside, Gage sets a chair behind his corner and orders Wes to sit. After the momentary strangeness, the electricity returns as Gage takes the ring and mean mugs Jay, getting in his face.
Larry: “It’s about to go down!”
Nick Gage vs. Gary Jay
Level 2 Rules (relaxed)
The bell rings and Jay comes at Gage with forearm shots and slaps. Gage no sells and throws up the MDK gang sign and spits in Gary’s face. Gage goes on the attack and Gary takes a brutal facewash. Gage leans between the ropes in the corner and points at Wes to make sure he is staying in line. Gage dumps Gary to the floor and plasters him with a chair and looks to the crowd defiantly. He shoves Jay back into the ring and gives him a Piledriver. Gary barely kicks out and the crowd roots him on. Gage with a superplex and a Chokebreaker. Two count. Nick goes back to the corner and growls at Wes who obediently reaches under the ring and retrieves Gage’s pizza cutter. Nick uses the sharp implement on his opponent. Jay is bleeding and the ref tries to get Gage to surrender the weapon. Gary is on the floor while this is going on, trying to recover. Gage drops the pizza cutter and goes after Gary. Nick is caught off guard as Jay hoists him to his shoulders then urges a nearby fan to get out of the way. The fan moves and Gary drops Gage onto his empty chair with a Death Valley Driver. Roaring Elbow by Jay. Pushing Gage back into the ring, Gary makes the cover. Strong kick out at one. Gary moves in again but Gage counters with a running neckbreaker. Powerbomb, Piledriver, two count. Gary tries to regroup but Gage doesn’t give him the chance. Chokebreaker and pin.
Winner: Nick Gage
Gage makes a victory circuit at ringside before gathering Wes and heading to the back, finger in belt loop.
Jordan: “Damn, Joe! Gage is taking no prisoners! Oh, wait. Maybe he is taking one. Ha, ha.”
Joe: “Okay, Jordan. Thanks for joining me. And to everyone viewing on PWIS-TV, check our social media on Monday for a huge announcement. Until then, goodnight.”
