Takada and Tamura have been run off from ROH and tonight, Laughter7's heads are coming with the American Wolves. [PRESHOW] Willie Mack says that he never needed Rhett Titus, and since he's through with his punk ass former partner, he's gonna take out a Samoan to become the World Champion. 1.) S.C.U.M. of Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs beat Kevin Steen and El Generico in 15:39 when Jacobs rolled Steen up after a low blow. [***] 4.) Kazuchika Okada beat Roderick Strong in 18:22 with Red Ink. El Generico is going crazy as Nigel McGuinness shows up. Steen shoves the trainer and says he doesn't give a shit what he has to do, he wants Corino in Dayton and Nigel makes the match, saying he wants rid of SCUM just as bad as Generico does. Steen says he wants them gone as well, but Nigel says he doubts that very much before walking away. [INTERMISSION] Coleman and Alexander are with Dave Prazak. Cedric says that they've climbed two huge mountains in the past year, winning two prestigious tag leagues so that they could come home to ROH with some momentum and tonight, they will shock the world by beating Future Shock. Michael Elgin gets his shot at Samoa Joe, Future Shock take on the American Wolves in singles action and Steen and Generico take the fight to SCUM in Dayton!
Samoa Joe defeated Willie Mack in a great match at the Third Anniversary Show, but shortly after the show was over it was announced that the newly minted ROH Champion would face arguably his biggest task yet in ROH as he takes on "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin! In a battle of two of the biggest monsters in ROH, who will leave with the ROH World Championship?
It was over a year ago at Final Battle II that Eddie Edwards, fresh off of returning from an injury caused by Adam Cole, defeated Adam Cole to become the ROH Pure Wrestling Champion. Fast forward a year, Adam Cole survived yet another ROH World Championship match with Davey Richards and was the driving force in stopping Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba's dominant Tag Team Championship reign while Eddie has defeated the likes of Fit Finlay in defense of his championship. Both men have progressed considerably, but can Die Hard take down the Panama City Playboy?
To this point in ROH, Davey Richards and Kyle O'Reilly have not met one-on-one. In Dayton, the former training partners will collide with a lot on the line. Richards needs a singles win to regain momentum after his loss to Samoa Joe at Final Battle and O'Reilly needs a major win to be put into the World Championship picture. One thing is for sure, this is going to be a war!
Steen and Generico came up on the losing end of things when they faced Corino and Jacobs in Philadelphia, but they urged Nigel McGuinness to put them in singles matches in Dayton and they got exactly what they asked for! Kevin Steen faces former ally Steve Corino, but El Generico will not face Jimmy Jacobs or Corino, but rather the seven-foot-tall Sid Justice! This isn't Sid's first foray into Ring of Honor, he was a member of Truth Martini's coalition to take out Michael Elgin and Rhino two years ago. Can the Generic Luchador take down the Master and Ruler of the World?
These are just a few of the matches scheduled for what is looking to be the biggest show we've ever put on in Dayton! Stay tuned for updates!
Card #32: "Rising Above": Dayton, OH: ROH World Championship: Samoa Joe (ch) vs. Michael Elgin Final Battle II Rematch for the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) vs. Adam Cole Kyle O'Reilly vs. Davey Richards El Generico vs. Sid with Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs Kevin Steen vs. Steve Corino

"Rainmaker" faces off with "Addicted to Love", Willie Mack faces one of his biggest tests to date, TJP squares off with "No Fear" and old rivals collide in Dayton!Bryan Danielson challenged both winner and loser of the Samoa Joe vs. Willie Mack match at the Anniversary Show in Philadelphia. Danielson has stated time and time again that he wants to face the very best competition here in Ring of Honor, and in Dayton he gets his wish as he takes on Willie Mack! Can Mack rebound with the biggest win of his career, or will Danielson enter Survival of the Fittest IV with all the momentum in the world? Kazuchika Okada defeated Roderick Strong by submission at the Anniversary Show in a classic contest while Rhett Titus merely watched the show from the backstage area. After his devastating loss to Willie Mack at Final Battle, Titus is determined to prove that he's among the best wrestlers in the world and in Dayton he takes on arguably the best in the world when he faces the Rainmaker! TJ Perkins and Mike Mondo have had roller coaster careers in Ring of Honor to say the very least. Both men have had big wins, both men have had big losses. TJP has told ROH officials that this will be his year and he looks to kick it off in style with a win over "No Fear" in Dayton! Homicide and Jay Lethal have been rivals for years, going back to when Lethal was the protege of Samoa Joe. In Dayton, two of the best in the world will collide with potentially huge impact on their Survival of the Fittest matchups. ROH matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has decreed that the winner of the match will take on "The Panama City Playboy" Adam Cole in the first round while the loser will take on El Generico, should Generico get past Sid in Dayton! Also, Jay and Mark Briscoe will address the Ring of Honor fans on their absence after Final Battle. Heaven only knows what Dem Boys have in store for the fans, and we'll surely find out this weekend in Dayton! Card #32: "Rising Above": Dayton, OH:ROH World Championship: Samoa Joe (ch) vs. Michael Elgin Final Battle II Rematch for the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) vs. Adam Cole Kyle O'Reilly vs. Davey Richards El Generico vs. Sid with Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs Kevin Steen vs. Steve Corino Kazuchika Okada vs. Rhett Titus Bryan Danielson vs. Willie Mack TJ Perkins vs. Mike Mondo Homicide vs. Jay Lethal

[***] [BACKSTAGE] Kevin Steen says that Corino brought this all on himself when he refused to stay out of Steen's business. Steen says that he, along with Generico, are going to end SCUM one-by-one. 3.) Kevin Steen beat Steve Corino via countout at 9:49 after a Package Piledriver on the floor. [**1/4] 4.) Kazuchika Okada beat Rhett Titus in 17:16 with Red Ink. [****] 5.) TJ Perkins beat Mike Mondo in 8:14 with the Detonation Kick. [**1/2] [INTERMISSION] We see Nigel McGuinness in his office. Nigel announces that at Survival of the Fittest, Willie Mack will take on Rhett Titus in a non-tournament match. Nigel's Survival of the Fittest announcements do not end there as he confirms that Kazuchika Okada will indeed challenge Samoa Joe for the ROH World Championship exactly one year after the finals of the event came down to the two of them. Nigel also announces two big matches for the return to Boston, the first being that Future Shock's next Tag Team Championship defense will be against the World Wrestling Federation's team of Adrian Adonis and Dick Murdoch. The second match he announces is that the Pure Wrestling Champion, whomever it may be, will defend the title against Kazushi Sakuraba from Laughter7. [INTERMISSION] Willie Mack says he's not even bothered by the loss to Samoa Joe because his comeback will be greater than his setback. He promises to beat Bryan Danielson tonight and says he's going to finish Titus off in Chicago. [INTERMISSION] Adam Cole is in the locker room. Cole says that it was two years ago that he won the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship from Kyle O'Reilly. This comes AFTER Eddie Edwards failed to beat Kyle for the title at Final Battle. Cole talks about turning on Edwards, saying it was the smartest choice he ever made because he embarked on a year long reign with the Pure title and tonight, he's going to bring Eddie's to an end. 6.) Bryan Danielson beat Willie Mack in 21:15 with Cattle Mutilation. [****1/2] 7.) El Generico beat Sid with Jimmy Jacobs via disqualification at 2:11 when Jacobs hit a spear on Generico. Kevin Steen ran in with a chair to make the save. [DUD] [BACKSTAGE] Kyle O'Reilly says that for too long, Davey Richards has acted like he runs Ring of Honor, the same way he acts like he owns Eddie Edwards and the same way he treated Kyle O'Reilly when they were training partners. O'Reilly promises to submit Richards tonight. 8.) Kyle O'Reilly beat Davey Richards in 24:13 with a guillotine choke. [****3/4] 9.) Final Battle II Rematch for the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) beat Adam Cole in 19:02 with Die Hard. Both men used two rope breaks. [***1/4] 10.) ROH World Championship: Samoa Joe (ch) beat Michael Elgin in 12:12 with the Muscle Buster. [***] [POST MATCH] Kazuchika Okada laid out Samoa Joe with the Rainmaker and held up the ROH World Championship to end the show.

Six Huge Matches for the Fourth Survival of the Fittest Tournament plus Joe vs. Okada Round 3!It was the tournament that crowned the first ROH World Champion as well as the tournament that lead Samoa Joe to the Ring of Honor World Championship. Survival of the Fittest is a yearly stable here in ROH. This year, twelve of the very best wrestlers in the world will take center stage in a grueling twelve man tournament where the winners of the six singles matches will advance to a six way elimination match to determine the winner. As mentioned, last year's winner Samoa Joe found himself the World Champion as a result of the title match he earned by winning the tournament. This year, Joe enters as Champion defending the belt against the man Joe eliminated to win in the finals last year, "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. To date, Okada has suffered two losses in Ring of Honor: The Survival of the Fittest finals and a loss to Adam Cole at All Out War. However, at Death Before Dishonor III, Okada pinned Joe in a Finals Rematch. Can Okada replicate that win in Chicago? Also in a special grudge match, former All Night Express partners collide as Willie Mack takes on Rhett Titus! Michael Elgin earns the quickest World Championship rematch in ROH history, "Die Hard" takes on "Saku", Future Shock will meet their toughest test to date, Camp Strong faces a Bulldog and Black Machismo will do battle with the Rainmaker in Boston! Two shows ago, Michael Elgin fought Samoa Joe in a hell of a match for the ROH World Championship. Unfortunately for Elgin, this was a losing effort and he would become the second Championship defense for Samoa Joe. At Survival of the Fittest IV, Elgin dealt Davey Richards his third one-on-one loss ever in ROH competition. ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness says this is enough of a feat to put Elgin right back into title contention. Can Elgin make good on this opportunity? Kazushi Sakuraba, along with stablemates Katsuyori Shibata, Nobuhiko Takada and Kiyoshi Tamura, terrorized Ring of Honor for much of last year. At Final Battle, Future Shock ended Laughter7's dominant Tag Team Championship reign and we thought that would be the last of Sakuraba or Shibata in Ring of Honor. They would return for the Anniversary Show this year in a losing effort to the American Wolves, but Sakuraba was not done with the Wolves. Sakuraba issued a challenge to Eddie Edwards for the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship and the two will do battle in Edwards' hometown of Boston! Future Shock of Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole were originally scheduled to take on Adrian Adonis and Dick Murdoch after the latter team's defeat of the Briscoes in Dayton, OH at Rising Above. Unfortunately, Adonis was injured in a match in Japan and the WWF had to send a replacement team for this event in Boston. The WWF notified ROH today that the team they would be sending consists of two of the very best wrestlers to ever set foot in the squared circle as O'Reilly and Cole will take on Owen and Bret Hart! The WWF-ROH battle will continue in more than just that one match, as Roderick Strong finds himself in a match against the "British Bulldog" himself, Davey Boy Smith! These are two of the strongest, hardest hitting men in professional wrestling and there's no telling what will happen when these two are across the ring from one another! "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada fell short in his pursuit of Samoa Joe's Ring of Honor World Championship and in Boston finds himself taking on Jay Lethal in a big match for both men. Okada is relentless in his pursuit of the championship and you've gotta believe that he knows how much a win over Jay Lethal will do for him as far as getting him back into the title picture. These are just five of the major matches announced, with plenty more to be revealed. Stay tuned to see what else we have on tap for our return to Boston! Card #34: "The Epic Encounter": Boston, MA:Rising Above Rematch for the ROH World Championship: Samoa Joe (ch) vs. Michael Elgin ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) vs. Kazushi Sakuraba ROH World Tag Team Championship: Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole (ch) vs. Owen Hart and Bret Hart Roderick Strong vs. Davey Boy Smith Jay Lethal vs. Kazuchika Okada

Steen and Generico do battle with SCUM, a huge triple threat will decide the next tag team title challengers, ANX explodes again and Mondo looks to show Homicide No Fear in Boston!Since Final Battle III, Kevin Steen and El Generico have set aside their heated rivalry for one common goal: Eliminate SCUM from Ring of Honor. Steve Corino has not been seen since Rising Above in Dayton and while Sid also hasn't been seen since that night, Jimmy Jacobs has found himself a new ally in Rhino. In Boston, Steen will face Jacobs and Generico will do battle with Rhino. Can Steen and Generico rid ROH of SCUM? The Young Bucks, Coleman and Alexander and the Briscoes are three of the top teams in professional wrestling, let alone Ring of Honor. Coleman and Alexander challenged Future Shock for the ROH World Tag Team Championship at the Anniversary Show in a losing effort, and while the Briscoes suffered a setback against Adonis and Murdoch, the Young Bucks are coming in with momentum after a huge victory over the Rockers. All three teams have taken extended breaks from Ring of Honor, traveling the globe in the case of C&C, or dominating Chikara in the case of the Young Bucks. The Briscoes, after losing to the Bucks at Final Battle, took an extended break looking to come back and reclaim the tag belts. The team that wins this three way match will likely receive a future Tag Team Title shot. Who will seal their fate in Boston? Rhett Titus and Willie Mack were a force in ROH's Tag Team scene, even if they never quite reached the top of the division. Late last year, Willie Mack turned on his former partner and broke off on his own. Mack defeated Titus in under five minutes at Final Battle, and again at Survival of the Fittest. Titus demanded a rematch and the two will duke it out in Boston! Also in a special challenge bout, Mike Mondo looks to take down "The Notorious 187" Homicide! Card #34: "The Epic Encounter": Boston, MA:Rising Above Rematch for the ROH World Championship: Samoa Joe (ch) vs. Michael Elgin ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) vs. Kazushi Sakuraba ROH World Tag Team Championship: Future Shock of Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole (ch) vs. Owen Hart and Bret Hart Roderick Strong vs. Davey Boy Smith Jay Lethal vs. Kazuchika Okada El Generico vs. Rhino Kevin Steen vs. Jimmy Jacobs The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson vs. Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander vs. Jay and Mark Briscoe Rhett Titus vs. Willie Mack Homicide vs. Mike Mondo

Card #34: "The Epic Encounter": Boston, MA:[PRESHOW] Michael Elgin is standing by with Veda Scott and says that you don't get many second chances, much less a third chance to become World Champion. Elgin notes that his first two title matches were in Dayton, Ohio against Davey Richards and Samoa Joe respectively, and he came up short in both. Tonight, he says, he won't lose. Tonight he will prove that when they say God created all men equal, they were WRONG. 1.) El Generico beat Rhino via disqualification at 2:49 when Jimmy Jacobs interfered. [DUD] 2.) Kevin Steen vs. Jimmy Jacobs went to a no contest at 12:11 when Rhino and Generico interfered and the four brawled to the back. [***] 3.) Homicide beat Mike Mondo in 7:20 with the Cop Killa. [**1/4] 4.) Willie Mack beat Rhett Titus in 4:50 with Dat N-gga Dead. [*1/4] 5.) Kazuchika Okada beat Jay Lethal in 14:31 with the Rainmaker. [***1/2] [BACKSTAGE] Samoa Joe says that Michael Elgin was one of the toughest men he's faced in Ring of Honor and he showed his potential in Dayton, but Elgin will not reach that potential tonight because Joe is going to kill him. [BACKSTAGE] Bret Hart and Owen Hart are in the WWF locker room and Bret says that tonight, future Shock are going to go down. Bret says that nobody understands tag team wrestling better than family, more specifically the Hart family. Owen talks about Future Shock being a great, young tag team but says that experience always wins out and tonight the WWF will claim ROH's World Tag Team Championship. 6.) Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander beat The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson and Jay and Mark Briscoe in 29:42 when Alexander used a cradle on Jay Briscoe following a Jay Driller on Nick Jackson. [****] 7.) Davey Boy Smith beat Roderick Strong in 16:09 with the Running Powerslam. [****1/2] [INTERMISSION] Nigel McGuinness is in his office with a major announcement for the next show in Orlando, Death Before Dishonor IV. The fans have asked for it, as have the participants and we will finally see Future Shock vs. The American Wolves for the ROH World Tag Team Championship! It was back at Rising Above in Dayton that Davey Richards fell to his former protege, Kyle O'Reilly in Davey's second one-on-one loss in ROH competition. Richards went on to suffer a third loss before taking a hiatus but Nigel has promised that the American Wolf will be ready to go in Orlando! Also, Kazuchika Okada will face Michael Elgin in a Final Battle III rematch and if Elgin dethrones Samoa Joe tonight, that match WILL be for the ROH World Championship! [INTERMISSION] Kevin Steen and El Generico are in the parking lot. Steen says he's sick of SCUM, he's sick of this whole f--king saga with these guys. Steen challenges Rhino and Jacobs to a match in Orlando and says SCUM can have their pick of the stipulation. [INTERMISSION] Davey Boy Smith says that Roderick Strong is a great wrestler, but he couldn't withstand the bite of the Bulldog. Davey Boy says that the next time we see him, he'll have a partner at his side because he wants the ROH World Tag Team Championship. [INTERMISSION] ROH has announced that it will produce a second Unity event this year in Manhattan, NY. The event has now been given a title, and the participating promotion has been revealed! 8.) ROH Pure Wrestling Championship: Eddie Edwards (ch) beat Kazushi Sakuraba in 19:19 with Die Hard. Both men used all three rope breaks. Sakuraba shook Edwards' hand and put the belt around his waist after the match. [****] 9.) ROH World Tag Team Championship: Future Shock of Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole (ch) beat Owen Hart and Bret Hart in 31:14 with Chasing the Dragon on Bret Hart. [****3/4] 10.) Rising Above Rematch for the ROH World Championship: Samoa Joe (ch) beat Michael Elgin in 14:05 with the Rear Naked Choke. [***] [POST MATCH] Lou Thesz leads Kiyoshi Tamura to the ring and on behalf of Tamura, challenges Samoa Joe to a rematch of the Fight of the Century from last year's Glory By Honor event. Joe doesn't hesitate to accept the challenge. After Tamura leaves, Joe is attacked by Future Shock, who prepare to hit him with Chasing the Dragon until Bryan Danielson saves Joe. Joe and Danielson stare each other down to end the show.

The Rematch of the Century, Wolves vs. Future Shock, SCUM vs. Steen and Generico and Elgin vs. Okada signed for Orlando!Last year at Glory By Honor III: The Fight of the Century, Samoa Joe defeated Kiyoshi Tamura in an incredible, hard hitting matchup that was talked about as a match of the year candidate. Tamura was not seen in Ring of Honor following that loss and it had been said that Tamura retired from professional wrestling. This turned out to not be the case as the legendary Lou Thesz lead Tamura to the ring after a successful title defense from Joe and issued the challenge for the biggest rematch in ROH history. Can lightning strike twice, or will Tamura even the score? Future Shock are, in many ways, the proteges of the American Wolves. Eddie Edwards mentored Adam Cole for a number of months before Cole broke away to join the fight for CZW in the war with ROH and Kyle O'Reilly's rise to prominence can largely be credited to Davey Richards. Recently, Kyle O'Reilly defeated Richards in a classic match, which lead to Richards' losing streak in singles competition increasing to 2. Richards would then lose to Michael Elgin at Survival of the Fittest before taking time off. Richards said he would return to Ring of Honor on one condition only: A Tag Title match against Future Shock. Nigel McGuinness signed it and it will take place in Orlando at Death Before Dishonor IV! Kevin Steen issued the challenge to SCUM for a tag match against him and El Generico, giving SCUM the pick of the stipulation. Jimmy Jacobs responded to Steen's challenge, saying he wants a First Blood Match in Orlando! Can Steen spill the blood of his former SCUM stablemates? Michael Elgin has suffered two major losses this year to Samoa Joe, and Kazuchika Okada is also coming off of an unsuccessful challenge for the ROH World Championship. Both need a major win, and they'll do battle in a rematch from Final Battle III in Orlando! Card #35: "Death Before Dishonor IV: Joe vs. Tamura II": Orlando, FL:Glory By Honor III: The Fight of the Century Rematch for the ROH World Championship: Samoa Joe (ch) vs. Kiyoshi Tamura ROH World Tag Team Championship: Future Shock of Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole (ch) vs. The American Wolves of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards First Blood Match: Jimmy Jacobs and Rhino vs. Kevin Steen and El Generico Final Battle III Rematch: Kazuchika Okada vs. Michael Elgin
