Steen and Corino do battle once again, "Rainmaker" takes on "The War King", C&C Wrestle Factory face two of ROH's greatest, Generico takes on a F--king Machine, three of ROH's top up and comers take center stage, the Kings of Wrestling return to ROH and ANX goes head-to-head again in Nashville!:

Kevin Steen turned on his former SCUM comrades last year at Final Battle and has spent much of this year fighting side-by-side with El Generico against Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs. Steen and Corino met back at Rising Above, which saw Steen drive Corino's head into the floor with a Package Piledriver. Corino hasn't been seen in Ring of Honor since that night in Dayton but will return in Nashville to do battle with his former SCUM stablemate!

Jay and Mark Briscoe, in addition to having the most successful defenses of the ROH World Tag Team Championship, consider themselves to be at the top of the mountain in ROH when it comes to the tag team division. So it comes to no surprise to anyone when Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli announced their return to Ring of Honor that Jay and Mark would want the first crack at the Kings. That match will go down in Nashville with the winning team potentially receiving a Tag Team Championship match at Final Battle IV.

Kazuchika Okada has become something of a fixture in big matches in Ring of Honor. To this point, he has challenged for the ROH World Championship and has made it to the end of Survival of the Fittest. When Okada requested to come back to ROH, New Japan Pro Wrestling demanded top level competition. ROH officials searched for the best possible matchup for Okada and found just that in Eddie Kingston and this first time ever dream match has been signed for Nashville!

Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander called ROH offices earlier this week demanding to be given a chance to show that they belong in the ROH World Tag Team Championship picture. With several top flight tag teams already booked for this show, ROH management reached out to two of the best ever and found a suitable opposition for C&C. In Nashville, Coleman and Alexander face Generation Next of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong!

El Generico, aside from being locked in this bitter battle with SCUM, is also in pursuit of his first Ring of Honor Championship. He realizes that he needs to be free of SCUM before he makes the trek towards the title but wants to prove that he can beat top level competition. In Nashville, Generico takes on the debuting Brian Cage from California. Cage is known for his power and athleticism, but the question remains if he can use those two intangibles to topple the Generic Luchador.

Also signed for Nashville is a three way match pitting Tommaso Ciampa against Tim Donst and Jay Lethal as well as a singles match between former partners as Rhett Titus takes on Willie Mack!

[PRESHOW] Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole are outside the building and Cole says that tonight, Future Shock are going to retire the ROH World Champion and the Pure Champion and leave Final Battle without a main event. O'Reilly says that they've been held back for far too long and they're going to take the top spots in ROH.
[PRESHOW] Austin Aries is seen backstage preparing for his tag match later tonight as the camera pans to Roderick Strong. Strong says that Generation Next are going to be ROH World Tag Team Champions by next year's Final Battle. Roderick calls Aries the greatest athlete ROH has ever seen and says that together, nobody can stop Generation Next.
[PRESHOW] AJ Styles is shown arriving to the building earlier in the day.

1.) Rising Above Rematch: Kevin Steen beat Steve Corino in 8:52 with F-Cinq. Jimmy Jacobs attacked Kevin Steen with a railroad spike after the match, bloodying him. [**3/4]

[INTERMISSION] Nigel McGuinness brings us a news update from his office, stating that Final Battle would see talent from New Japan Pro Wrestling, WCW, CZW and Chikara. Nigel announced the first undercard match as Scott Norton vs. Michael Elgin and told fans to stay tuned for more announcements regarding Final Battle IV.
[INTERMISSION] We see a bloodied Kevin Steen in the locker room with El Generico. Steen says this SCUM saga has to end at Final Battle. On behalf of Generico, Steen challenges Corino and Jacobs to a double dog collar, losers leave ROH Match.
[INTERMISSION] A creepy video plays, saying that Final Battle is the beginning of the end.

9.) Double Main Event I - Tag Team Dream Match: The American Wolves of Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards beat Rob Van Dam and Sabu in 9:30 when Richards used an ankle lock on Sabu. [**1/2]

[BACKSTAGE] The American Wolves are shown walking through the backstage area when Davey Richards is stopped by Kazuchika Okada. Okada challenges Richards to a match at Final Battle and Richards accepts.

10.) Double Main Event II - ROH World Tag Team Championship: Future Shock of Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole (ch) beat Samoa Joe and Bryan Danielson in 41:56 when Cole used the Florida Key on Joe after Danielson accidentally hit Joe with a rolling elbow. [****1/2]

[POST MATCH] Danielson helps Joe up and tries to explain that the elbow was accidental but Joe slaps Danielson across the face leading to a pull apart brawl between them.

[POST SHOW] Eddie Edwards is leaving the building when he's approached by four guys in hooded sweatshirts wearing skull masks. The four men circle Edwards before letting him walk away.
[POST SHOW] We see Matt Tremont in the CZW Wrestling Academy. Tremont says he never wanted the opportunity to wrestle in ROH, but since they're opening the doors to CZW talent again, he might as well show up to Final Battle and issued an open challenge to anyone who thought they could take on the Bulldozer.
[POST SHOW] Nigel McGuinness is in his office with a major announcement for Final Battle IV. In addition to Bryan Danielson defending his Pure Championship against Samoa Joe and the ROH World Championship in a double title match, we can now confirm that Future Shock will defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship against Generation Next of Roderick Strong and Austin Aries!

The First Ever Double Title Match in ROH History, Future Shock take on Generation Next, Two men will leave ROH forever, Richards does battle with the Rainmaker, Elgin goes toe-to-toe with Norton and Tremont Issues an open challenge for Final Battle!:

Last year at Final Battle, Samoa Joe defeated Davey Richards to end Richards' near two year reign as ROH World Champion. Since that night, Joe has defended the ROH World Championship against talent from New Japan Pro Wrestling, UWFi and Pro-Wrestling Noah but at Final Battle, he takes on a man who made his way to ROH with the sole purpose of becoming World Champion - Bryan Danielson. Danielson not only won Survival of the Fittest this year, he defeated "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards to win the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship. With that in mind, Danielson decided he would go all-or-nothing in this opportunity and has decided to put his title on the line against Samoa Joe at Final Battle IV! After the events of Supercard of Honor IV, one thing is for sure and that is that Bryan Danielson will be in the ring with an angry, focused Samoa Joe. Will Danielson's gamble pay off?

Future Shock defeated Katsuyori Shibata and Kazushi Sakuraba at Final Battle last year to capture the ROH World Tag Team Championship. In their year-long reign, they've defended the belts against The Hart Foundation, The American Wolves and most recently, Bryan Danielson and Samoa Joe. It can be argued that Future Shock are the best tag team in pro wrestling. One team that would argue the contrary is Roderick Strong and Austin Aries, Generation Next. Aries and Strong defeated Coleman and Alexander to land themselves in this title match and have all but guaranteed that they would walk out the new ROH World Tag Team Champions.

El Generico's war with SCUM goes back to the very first ROH event. It wasn't until last year that he found a consistent ally in the battle against SCUM and ironically, it was his most hated rival--Kevin Steen. Generico and Steen have battled with Corino and Jacobs for a year with the intent to drive SCUM out of Ring of Honor for good and at Final Battle, the two teams will meet in a double dog collar match where the losers leave ROH forever. Can Steen and Generico finally rid ROH of SCUM?

Kazuchika Okada has had one of the most impressive win-loss records in ROH since his debut at Death Before Dishonor II. Another man with an impressive win-loss record is former ROH World Champion, Davey Richards. Both men are near the top of the rankings in Ring of Honor and they'll do battle at Final Battle IV in a match that could very well land either man in a title match!

Michael Elgin is one of the strongest men in pro wrestling and is unquestionably the strongest man in Ring of Honor. ROH officials looked for a man who could match Elgin's brute power and Nigel McGuinness found just that in Scott "Flash" Norton! Elgin has been compared to Norton by many and at Final Battle we'll find out who the strongest man in professional wrestling is!

CZW's Matt Tremont appeared on the Supercard of Honor DVD and issued an open challenge to anyone to fight him at Final Battle. To this point, nobody has accepted Tremont's challenge but ROH officials guarantee that at Final Battle in Philadelphia, Tremont WILL have an opponent!

"Die Hard" meets the Age of the Fall, AJ Styles takes on the Prodigy, A huge tag team match and more signed for Final Battle!:

"Die Hard" Eddie Edwards has been a fixture of the main event scene in ROH since the very first show. He's a former Pure Wrestling Champion and has been part of one of ROH's most dominant tag teams in the American Wolves. At Final Battle, "Die Hard" finds himself across the ring from a newcomer to ROH in Tyler Black. Black is one of the most talked about wrestlers in the entire world and will look to make a huge impact upon his debut in ROH but can he beat one of the very best?

AJ Styles made his ROH debut at Supercard of Honor, beating Michael Elgin with the Styles Clash in a critically acclaimed match. This big of a debut has not gone unnoticed, as "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett has stepped up and demanded to be the next opponent of AJ Styles. When asked about the match, Bennett told ROHWrestling,com that, "AJ Styles is the past, I'm the future and in Philadelphia I'm going to put AJ out to pasture." Styles wouldn't comment at length, telling ROH officials he'll let the wrestling do the talking in Philly.

The Young Bucks and the Kings of Wrestling are among the best tag teams in wrestling today. Hero and Castagnoli recently put away Jay and Mark Briscoe at Supercard of Honor, proving that they belong amongst the top of the discussion regarding the very elite teams in ROH. The Young Bucks have yet to gain that one signature win, but are very capable of an upset in Philadelphia.

Matt Tremont issued an open challenge for Final Battle and we've learned today that it has been accepted by "The Notorious 187" Homicide! These are two men with absolutely no reservations when it comes to getting violent, this could be a bloodbath!

Also, Rhett Titus takes on Willie Mack, Tommaso Ciampa does battle with Delirious and in a special opening match, the Briscoes take on C&C Wrestle Factory and BLK OUT at Final Battle IV!

Card #40: "Final Battle IV: Title for Title": Philadelphia, PA:

[EARLIER TODAY] Cameras caught up with Bryan Danielson while he prepared for his match against Samoa Joe in the main event.
Danielson: "Joe, it's finally here. I won Survival of the Fittest months ago and since that night, I've waited patiently for you to finish up your business with guys like Tamura and KENTA. I even beat the longest reigning Pure Wrestling Champion ROH has had to date. But tonight...it's not about championships. It's not about fame, it's not about who makes more money after this is over. Joe, this is as simple as it gets. I say I'm the best, you say you're the best. You've been World Champion for a year, I say you've never faced anyone like me. I'm Bryan Danielson, the Ring of Honor Pure Wrestling Champion and tonight, Joe...you're gonna get your f-cking head kicked in."

1.) Jay and Mark Briscoe beat C&C Wrestle Factory of Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander and BLK OUT of Ruckus and Sabian in 8:33 when Jay used the Jay Driller on Sabian. [***]
- Fast paced opening match that saw the Briscoes run through BLK OUT while C&C provided a bit more resistance to Sandy Fork's finest. Alexander went toe-to-toe with Jay briefly before BLK OUT sent C&C Packing when Sabian used BLK Jesus Walks on Coleman. From there, it was back to being an out and out brawl with the Briscoes and BLK OUT. Jay put Sabian away with the Jay Driller and it seems like Dem Boys are back on the path to the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

[ROH Year Four Moment] The American Wolves defeat Laughter 7 in a grueling main event! (Card #31: "Third Anniversary Show")

2.) Tommaso Ciampa beat Delirious in 1:55 with Project Ciampa. [DUD]
- Not a whole lot to say, Ciampa mauled Delirious from the opening bell and put him away quickly. This was the most impressive Ciampa has looked to date in ROH. After the match, Truth Martini approached Ciampa and it seemed like he was trying to recruit him.

[ROH Year Four Moment] In a huge singles match, "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada submits Rhett Titus with Red Ink! (Card #32: "Rising Above"

3.) Willie Mack with Olivia beat Rhett Titus in 4:34 with Dat N-gga Dead. [*3/4]
- Two straight squash matches. Mack tore through Titus for the entire match while Olivia stood outside cheering him on. Mack, much like Ciampa, looked more impressive here than he has during any other performance to date.

[ROH Year Four Moment] In a near-70 minute classic, Bryan Danielson wins Survival of the Fittest by submitting Adam Cole! (Card #33: "Survival of the Fittest IV")

4.) Homicide vs. Matt Tremont never began. [NR]
- Weird stuff. Tremont was in the ring and Homicide was making his entrance before Jon Moxley, Dave Crist, Jake Crist and Sami Callihan attacked him and left Homicide laying in the ramp before leaving. Necro Butcher ran in and seemed like he was going to attack Tremont with a chair, but instead Tremont nodded at him and the two left together.

[ROH Year Four Moment] Future Shock put on one of the strongest performances of their career as the successfully defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship against Bret and Owen Hart! (Card #34: "The Epic Encounter")

5.) Michael Elgin beat Scott Norton in 9:19 with the Elgin Bomb. [**3/4]
- Just two big dudes clubbing the crap out of each other. Norton had the advantage early on, nearly beating Elgin via countout after putting Elgin through the barricade on the outside of the ring. Elgin got in just before the count of 19 and went on a huge run, putting the monstrous Norton away with the Elgin Bomb.

[ROH Year Four Moment] In a heated battle, Samoa Joe defeats MMA legend Kiyoshi Tamura to defend the ROH World Championship! (Card #35: "Death Before Dishonor IV: Joe vs. Tamura II")

6.) The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli beat The Young Bucks of Nick and Matt Jackson in 14:44 when Castagnoli pinned Matt following KRS-ONE. [****1/2]
- Excellent match with a ton of action courtesy of the Bucks, who took every opportunity they could to hit a crazy dive to the outside on either Hero or Castagnoli. KOW had to fight from behind for a lot of the match and it really looked like the Jacksons were going to pull out a huge upset but Hero pushed Nick off the top rope to the outside and shortly thereafter, Matt fell to KRS-ONE. It seems as though KOW might be the next challengers to the tag titles but after a performance like the Briscoes had earlier, it seems an eliminator of sorts might be in order.

[ROH Year Four Moment] Bryan Danielson ends Eddie Edwards' reign ss ROH Pure Wrestling Champion, knocking Edwards out with vicious elbows to claim his first championship in ROH! (Card #36: "Night of Champions": Louisville, KY)

7.) AJ Styles beat Mike Bennett with Maria and Brutal Bob in 7:30 with the Styles Clash. [**1/2]
- Bennett wanted to prove he belonged with the top wrestlers in ROH and while he had the advantage early on, Styles showed that "The Prodigy" is just a step behind the top dogs in ROH. Bennett threw AJ to the outside and took the time to showboat, only to turn around into a springboard forearm by AJ, which put AJ on the comeback path which ended with a Styles Clash and AJ picking up his second straight victory in ROH.

[ROH Year Four Moment] (Card #37: "Glory By Honor IV": Long Island, NY)

8.) Eddie Edwards beat Tyler Black in 15:59 with Die Hard. [****]
- We found out just what it was that Necro and Tremont were up to earlier in the show as both guys tried to interfere on Black's behalf in this match but to no avail as Edwards dodged Necro's chair shot attempt and hit a suicide dive on Tremont. Black put up a hell of a fight here but couldn't kick out of Die Hard, giving Edwards the win and a push of momentum heading into the new year.

[ROH Year Four Moment] The American Wolves put away The British Bulldogs in an instant classic as ROH took on the WWF! (Card #38: "Saturday Night's Main Event - Unity: WWF vs. ROH": Manhattan, NY)

9.) Davey Richards beat Kazuchika Okada in 17:22 with the DR Driver. [****]
- I'm sure most fans expected Davey to put up a valiant effort but fall just short against Okada. Not the case here, as the "American Wolf" took the fight to the "Rainmaker" from the opening bell and let Okada have no rest whatsoever. Okada did land his Rainmaker finisher, but Richards kicked out and fought back, dropping Okada on the top of his head with the DR Driver to win the match.

As Davey left ringside, we're taken to a long video recapping the three year history of Generico vs. S.C.U.M, going back to the very first show.

10.) Double Dog Collar Match; Loser Leaves ROH: El Generico and Kevin Steen beat S.C.U.M. of Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs in 16:33 when Steen used a Package Piledriver off the apron through a table on Corino. [****]
- Violent, brutal, bloody match that saw Generico unleash on Jacobs, blasting him with everything that wasn't nailed down while Steen tore through Corino. The match went all over the building and as you'd expect, had its share of crazy moments. Generico was on top of a scaffold and Jacobs yanked the chain to pull him down through two tables and just as that happened, Corino suplexed Steen onto a guard rail set up between the ring and the barricade. Jacobs ripped at Generico's mask, exposing Generico's face so that he could cut it with his railroad spike. Generico hit a turnbuckle Brainbuster on Jacobs while Steen put Corino through a table with a Package Piledriver to win the match. As a result, Steve Corino must leave ROH forever. Steen stood in the middle of the ring as the Crists, Callihan and Moxley returned and attacked him. Generico tried to make the save, but was thwarted by Callihan. Callihan and Moxley hit a double team powerbomb through two set up chairs on Generico and the group left.

Generico and Steen are stretchered to the back as a video recaps the ROH touring schedule for next year.

11.) ROH World Tag Team Championship: Generation Next of Roderick Strong and Austin Aries beat Future Shock of Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole (ch) in 21:50 when Aries used the 450 Splash on O'Reilly to become the fifth champions. [****1/4]
- This might be the most shocking result of the show simply because of the level of talent that Future Shock have put away in their title reign, but also because of how the match ended. Generation Next picked up the win and the titles much to the delight of the Philadelphia crowd. Cole and O'Reilly didn't seem to click here, with several mistimed tag attempts leading to Generation Next picking up steam on offense. Late in the match, Aries dropkicked O'Reilly, sending him into Cole and knocking Cole off the apron. Cole slid back into the ring and hit O'Reilly with a superkick to the back of the head, allowing Aries to hit the 450 Splash and pick up the win.

After the match, Aries got on the microphone and said that O'Reilly just doesn't have what it takes to cut it against the big boys and that Generation Next has added a new member---Adam Cole! Aries hands Cole the mic and Cole says that he's sick of carrying the load for Kyle O'Reilly and that he's sick of being a tag team wrestler. Cole notes that he's the only man to challenge for the ROH World Championship twice and not get beaten and that he was going to win Survival of the Fittest V next year and take what was rightfully his.

[ROH Year Four Moment] An accidental rolling elbow from Bryan Danielson to Samoa Joe leads to Future Shock retaining the ROH World Tag Team Championship over Danielson and Joe! (Card #39: "Supercard of Honor": Nashville, TN)

12.) ROH World Championship vs. ROH Pure Wrestling Championship Double Title Match: Bryan Danielson (ch) beat Samoa Joe (ch) in 37:56 via ref stoppage due to elbows to become the fourth champion. Both men used all three rope breaks. [*****]
- Every bit as epic as you would hope for it to be. Joe went at Danielson early on, hammering the Pure champion in the corner and making Danielson use his rope breaks early so that he wouldn't be able to escape the choke later in the match. Danielson moved out of the way of a Samoa Joe dive and took over, throwing Joe into the crowd and hitting a dive into the third row on Joe. Danielson rushed back into the ring, hoping to win by countout but Joe got back in at the very last second. From there, Danielson picked apart the arms of Joe, setting up for Cattle Mutilation or even the Crossface Chickenwing, both of which Joe survived in this match and cost himself two of his three rope breaks. Late in the match Joe rallied and hit a Muscle Buster for two, but Danielson rolled out of the ring shortly thereafter and put Joe into the ring post, claiming offensive momentum for the final time in the match. Shortly there after, Danielson elbowed Joe into unconsciousness to claim the ROH World Championship that he had sought for the last three years.

After the match, the two shook hands and Joe put the ROH World Championship around Danielson's waist. Bryan got on the mic and said that he left corporate wrestling behind because it wasn't a good fit for him. Bryan says he's just a small town kid from Aberdeen who saw the industrial corporations come in and run the hard working people of his town out of jobs. Bryan says that he abandoned that corporate mindset and came to Ring of Honor because not only does this company have the best wrestlers in the world, this Championship represents wrestling freedom. Not being bogged down by corporations and being told what to do or who you were. Bryan says that he'll defend this title against anyone and everyone, and to prove it he'll mail open contracts to every promotion in the world. Davey Richards makes his way out and says the two have unfinished business. The first time they met, it went to a no contest and the second time, Bryan submitted Davey with the Chickenwing. Richards says that he's sick of waiting for another shot at his ROH World Championship and that he'll sign the open contract right now for a shot at the Anniversary Show. Danielson tells Davey that he beat Okada earlier in the night and he's the rightful number one contender. Bryan says Davey's on for the Anniversary Show and offers a handshake and Davey obliges and the two have a staredown to end the show.

Danielson vacates Pure Championship to focus on defending the World Championship and finds himself in the middle of the Hunt, Styles and Die Hard do battle to determine the new Pure Champion, Generation Next take on Steen and Generico and O'Reilly seeks revenge in Boston!:

At Final Battle IV, Bryan Danielson won a double title match, knocking Samoa Joe unconscious to become the ROH World Champion. Defending two titles in Ring of Honor is a responsibility that even a top athlete such as Danielson can't devote his full focus and time to, and in light of this, Danielson vacated the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship. The "American Dragon" isn't out of the woods yet, however. The Pure Championship was only one of Danielson's hills to climb. In Boston, he defends the ROH World Championship against the longest reigning ROH World Champion ever, Davey Richards! Can Richards become the first two-time ROH World Champion?

With the Pure Championship vacated, ROH officials were forced to make a decision about just who would wrestle in the match to decide the new champion. AJ Styles had an impressive victory over Mike Bennett at Final Battle and Eddie Edwards managed to fend off Tyler Black and is a former Pure Champion himself. In Boston, the hometown hero will have a chance to become the first two-time Pure Wrestling Champion in ROH history when he meets AJ Styles!

Generation Next shocked the wrestling world by ending the ROH World Tag Team Championship reign of Future Shock at Final Battle, but now they must set their sights on keeping the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Their first defense comes in the form of Kevin Steen and El Generico. Steen and Generico just wiped out SCUM from Ring of Honor but appear to have their attention split between the Tag Titles and this new group consisting of the Irish Airborne and the Switchblade Conspiracy. In Boston, we'll see if Steen and Generico can focus long enough to make Generation Next the shortest reigning champions in ROH history!

Speaking of Generation Next shockers, Adam Cole shocked Kyle O'Reilly by superkicking him and costing Future Shock the tag team titles at Final Battle. Cole said he was sick of carrying O'Reilly after he nearly ended the ROH World Championship reign of Davey Richards. O'Reilly told ROH officials that he wants this match more than anything and the two will collide in Boston. Cole is adamant that this is the year he wins the ROH World Championship, but can he get past his former tag team partner first?

The Fallen Angel debuts against a former World Champion, Dem Boys take on the Kings, two top tag teams look to make an impact and a huge Four Corner Survival signed for the Fourth Anniversary Show!

The card for ROH's fourth birthday is almost finalized and today we can confirm the in-ring debuts for six new wrestlers, starting with the "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. Daniels told ROH officials that he's been waiting patiently for the right time to debut and he issued a challenge directly to Samoa Joe, saying that he wants to prove that he's the better man between them. Joe, always happy to oblige anyone questioning his toughness, accepted the challenge and the two will do battle in Boston!

The Briscoes and the Kings of Wrestling both had impressive performances at Final Battle IV, so much so that they, in terms of discussing the next challengers to the tag titles, canceled each other out. ROH officials disputed heavily which team deserved the title match and everyone agreed that the two teams should meet with a future Tag Team Championship shot on the line. Will the Briscoes get the chance to become two-time tag team champions or will the Kings indeed reign supreme?

Jake and Dave Crist made their presence felt at Final Battle, first by attacking Homicide alongside Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan and then later in the night by attacking Kevin Steen and El Generico. The Crists' motivation is unclear but they will show up in Boston to take on another debuting tag team in the Inner City Machine Guns of AR Fox and Rich Swann!

The final match announcement we have for you today is a huge four corner survival as the debuting Frankie Kazarian takes on Jay Lethal, Tommaso Ciampa and Tyler Black! Any one of these four men could land themselves a title match with a victory, the question is who takes home the W? We'll find out in Boston!

Dragon Gate meets New Japan Pro Wrestling in a special International Showcase!

We promised a huge match announcement for fans of international wrestling and ROH officials have finalized the deal that will pit two of the top promotions in Japan against one another in an ROH ring! Dragon Gate are sending Ricochet and Uhaa Nation to represent their promotion against New Japan Pro Wrestling's Forever Hooligans of Rocky Romero and Alex Koslov! While the Hooligans are former multi-time IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champions, Ricochet and Uhaa Nation have yet to achieve that level of success as a tag team but Dragon Gate insists that their men will be ready to defend the honor of Dragon Gate in Boston!

Card #41: "Fourth Anniversary Show": Boston, MA

[PRESHOW] We see a recap of the main event of Final Battle before going to an interview with Bryan Danielson. Danielson says that he fought for three years to get the ROH World Championship and he's not going to let it go without a fight. He says that he and Davey have had their clashes personally in the past but tonight isn't about that, it's about Danielson proving that he is the best wrestler in the world.
[PRESHOW] Michael Elgin is shown arriving to the building when Nigel McGuinness approaches him and asks him why he showed up tonight. Elgin says that he's scouting his next opponent. Nigel asks Elgin what he means by that and Elgin hands Nigel an open contract that Bryan Danielson sent to AIW, which Elgin has signed and will face the winner of tonight's main event next show in his hometown of Toronto.

1.) Tyler Black beat Frankie Kazarian, Jay Lethal and Tommaso Ciampa in 9:43 when he used God's Last Gift on Lethal. Matt Tremont hit Lethal with a chair prior to the finish. [**1/2]
2.) OI4K of Jake and Dave Crist beat The Inner City Machine Guns of Rich Swann and AR Fox in 14:24 when Jake used The Suicide on Fox. [***3/4]

[POST MATCH] Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley run in and OI4K put to boots to the Machine Guns until Generation Next of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong make the save. Aries gets a microphone and tells Swann and Fox that they're Generation Next material and says if they want someone to have their backs, they should join the best. Swann agrees and the four leave together.

3.) The Kings of Wrestling of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli beat Jay and Mark Briscoe in 17:56 when Hero used the Hangman's Elbow on Mark. [***1/2]
4.) International Showcase - Dragon Gate vs. New Japan Pro Wrestling: Forever Hooligans of Alex Koslov and Rocky Romero beat Ricochet and Uhaa Nation in 14:53 when they used the Contract Killer on Nation. [****1/4]
5.) Samoa Joe beat Christopher Daniels in 16:50 with the Rear Naked Choke. Daniels refused to shake Joe's hand after the match. [***1/2]

[INTERMISSION] Kyle O'Reilly is in the locker room. Kyle says that Adam Cole didn't carry Future Shock, he did. Kyle says that he doesn't care if Cole has Generation Next backing him up, because Kyle has backup of his own. Bobby Fish walks into frame and asks Kyle if he's ready to do this and Kyle says that he is and the two begin to spar.
[INTERMISSION] Christopher Daniels says that he didn't shake Samoa Joe's hand because he doesn't respect Samoa Joe. Daniels says that he is the best wrestler in the world and that's why he came to Ring of Honor, to prove that he is better than everyone else. Daniels is interrupted by Truth Martini, who asks Daniels if he could have a word with him. Daniels tells the cameraman he has more important things to do and leaves with Truth.
[INTERMISSION] Tyler Black is shown with Matt Tremont and Necro Butcher. Black calls their group the Age of the Fall and says that they're here to bring an end to Ring of Honor. Black challenges Eddie Edwards to a rematch in Toronto.

6.) ROH World Tag Team Championship: Generation Next of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong (ch) beat El Generico and Kevin Steen in 14:34 when Strong used the Sick Kick on Steen. [****]

[POST MATCH] OI4K attack all four guys in the ring and begin putting the boots to Aries and Strong when Swann and Fox make the save. Aries is handed a mic by Swann and says that if those freaks want a shot at the titles, they've got one whenever they want.

7.) Adam Cole beat Kyle O'Reilly with Bobby Fish in 19:39 via knockout with a superkick to the back of the head. Cole spat at Fish after the match but left the ring before Fish could get his hands on him. [****1/4]
8.) ROH Pure Wrestling Championship Decision Match: AJ Styles beat Eddie Edwards in 21:21 with the Styles Clash to become the fifth champion. [****]

[BACKSTAGE] AJ Styles is shown entering the locker room when he comes face to face with Samoa Joe. Joe says that he's had the ROH World Championship and while he's waiting for that rematch, he wants a shot at AJ's Pure Wrestling Championship in Toronto. AJ agrees to the challenge.

9.) ROH World Championship: Bryan Danielson (ch) beat Davey Richards in 26:22 with a small package. Richards reluctantly shook Danielson's hand after the match, Elgin entered the ring and stared Danielson down after the match. [****]

[POST SHOW] A video is sent in from CZW, announcing that Drake Younger has signed one of the open contracts for a future ROH World Championship match and will receive his shot at Survival of the Fittest V in Charlotte.
