JS: Hello fans, I'm Joey Styles and I'm here with another R.O.H. update for the next huge card called "Losing My Insanity" in Cincinnati. You've already heard about the incredible 8-Man Elimination Tag Team Match between S.C.U.M. against the Briscoes, Jay Lethal, and Rhett Titus. I have three more matches to share with you that have been signed for that great card.

First, due to his victory at "Beyond Good and Evil" El Generico gets his Television title shot against "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett. This will be Bennett's first title defense since winning the belt from Adam Cole and no doubt his support team of Maria and "Brutal" Bob Evans will want to play a part in the outcome.

Second, the R.O.H. Top Prospects tournament continues with another First Round match. From Chikara the incredibly exciting and barely understandable ball of kinetic energy Frightmare matches up with another Independent mainstay Shane Hollister.

And last but not least before I announce the final match for this update I've been asked to give up the microphone to one..Truth Martini.

Now ladies and gentleman I'm sure you're wondering where I've been over the past few months. I took a little time off. I went down to the beaches in Miami and started to plot the return of the House of Truth. Bigger and Badder than ever. But before I talk about that I feel the need to address something.

At the last R.O.H. card Michael Elgin was viciously and brutally beaten up by a rather larger man in a mask. There have been many that have speculated that I was the man behind that attack and I am here to say that I am totally innocent. I had absolutely nothing to do with it. Although I will admit that I'd love to shake that large man's hand because Elgin I hold you personally responsible for the collapse of the House of Truth. You turned Roderick Strong against me. Roddy has achieved everything you can here in Ring of Honor while you've done absolutely nothing. Nothing. And mark my words I will get my revenge very soon you big idiot.

Now Styles I told you that I was rebuilding the House of Truth and I'd like to make an announcement right here about my newest acquisitions. May I present the next R.O.H. Tag Team champions - Matt and Nick Jackson - The Young Bucks!

TM: Gentlemen, gentlemen so glad you could join us now tell the peons out there what's going to happen at "Losing My Insanity" when you face Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin - the supposed World's Greatest tag team.

MJ: Well first off Truth has anyone even seen Shelton Benjamin? Is even still in Ring of Honor? The Internet was buzzing about how he was moving on to Connecticut and that old angry Charlie was getting left behind. So we'll see if these guys even show up in Ohio.

NJ: But if they do we'll have no problem showing to them and the world that this is a young man's game. The Young Bucks are THE most talented team not only in R.O.H. but anywhere on the planet. So if they do show up, they'll wish they hadn't.

NM: Hello fans, Nigel McGuinness here with another update for February 24th in Cincinnati.

Roderick Strong has a habit of making all sorts of enemies, usually due to his mouth but this time his actions did the talking as he attacked Eddie Edwards last month at our first event of the new year. Edwards has ignored the advice of doctors that say he should wait a few more weeks to let his injured back heal. Instead he wants Strong in the ring and doesn't care how. So I've scheduled a tag match between The American Wolves and Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly. There is plenty at stake here as Richards and O'Reilly have had some battles early on and the American Wolf is hungry to get his hands on his former protege.

The second match that I have to announce took a bit of work on my part. As you know Matt Hardy made a special appearance at Final Battle '12 against ROH Television champion Adam Cole and got the win over him even though it was under adverse circumstances. Since then Cole has dropped the title to Mike Bennett and Hardy has shown no interest in getting back into the ring with Cole no matter what the stipulation, except one. So on February 24th Adam Cole will take on Matt Hardy and if Hardy once again scores the victory he will receive an automatic R.O.H. World Title Match. Here's more from the self-professed icon.

MH: Finally Nigel McGuinness, finally you figured out how to speak my language and that's with title shots. There's no question that my match with Adam Cole should have been for the gold but I understand that you have to protect your champion. It wouldn't look very good for R.O.H. to have Matt Hardy as their champion when quite honestly I could be anywhere in the world in a variety of promotions around the globe at any time.

But now, now you had no choice because honestly what incentive do I have to let Adam Cole have another crack at me. What's in it for me? What more would I really have to prove? Nothing.

So now after I disposes of the flavor of the weak Adam Cole I can get the spot that should have rightfully been mine from the start - the main event.

JS: Hello R.O.H. fans, Joey Styles here with Nigel McGuinness and we have the final update for you before "Losing my Insanity" kicks off in Cincinnati.

NG: Fans as usual we work as hard as we can to bring you only the best in wrestling action and I think these two final matches will round out a very strong card.

First, I've signed what should be a good old fashioned brawl as the streetwise Homicide will take on the always unpredictable Delirious. It should be a great match-up and who knows what either man will do in that ring.

Second, we have our second Top Prospects match signed for the evening as a part of the tournament where the winner receives an ROH contract for a full year. Robert Anthony takes on Arik Royal in a battle of two hungry young performers. So looking forward to a great night of action.

JS: Absolutely. And of course Nigel since I have to I was asked by Charlie Haas for some interview time.



(Haas enters into frame.)

CH: That's right. I have something to say and you'll hold that microphone and keep your mouth shut and like it Styles.

Now it's come to my attention that these two pony tailed punks - the Young Bucks are questioning if Shelton Benjamin will be there in Cincinnati. Are you serious? Well, let me put my personal guarantee on this statement. The World's Greatest Tag Team will be in Cincinnati and we will stomp those two clowns on our way to a rightful title shot with those awful Briscoes. Got it?

JS: Well I don't normally agree with Truth Martini but Shelton Benjamin has been missing in action so far this year. So you say that he'll be there.

CH: I shouldn't even answer that. Did I stutter? Not only will he be there but we will mop the ring with our opponents. That's it, that's all and I'm done with this interview.

-Top Prospects Match-
1) Robert Anthony defeated Arik Royal with TACO PIZZA @ 6:25.

Decent opener that saw the speed of Anthony trump the power of Royal. Anthony had to use his finisher at least three times before Royal would go down for the count.

2) Homicide defeated Delirious with DA GRINGO KILLER @ 7:45.

Delirious was in control early until Homicide took the match to he floor. After ramming the masked man into the turnpost he rolled him back in. After several piledrivers the Brooklyn native finished things off with his patented reverse head ram.

<Backstage> Kevin Kelly is on camera again. He claims that he is waiting to speak with current Television champion Mike Bennett about his match tonight against El Generico. Kelly begins to talk about Maria Kanellis and isn't really paying attention to owner M.W. Jergs' two twin bodyguards closing in behind him. The two grab the chubby announcer, toss a sack over his head and drag him out of view.



-Top Prospects Match-
3) Frightmare pinned Shane Hollister with KNEECOLEPSY @ 10:10.

The small masked man flew around the ring and wore Hollister out. He used several high flying impact moves and then got the three after a flipping kneedrop to the chest.

4) The Young Bucks (w/Truth Martini) defeated Charlie Haas when Matt Jackson hit a MOONSAULT @ 6:45.

The fans and Nigel McGuinness were a bit surprised that Haas was alone but he brushed it off and said that he wouldn't have any trouble whipping two "sissies" from California. McGuinness allowed the match to continue. Haas got in some offense but the distractions of new manager Truth Martini and the double team moves of the Bucks proved to be too much.

5) Adam Cole defeated Matt Hardy with a FLYING CROSSBODY @ 14:52.

An exciting match that saw Cole deny Hardy his ROH World Title shot with a victory. The two went back and forth with several near falls until Hardy missed a turnbuckle whip and went in face first. Cole quickly went to the top and hit one of his finishers. Cole celebrates and then in an uncharacteristic move tears into Hardy! He brings in a chair and slams it across Hardy's back and then sets up for a piledriver on the fallen chair. ROH security and Nigel McGuinness were out to stop Cole who was clearly out of control.

<Backstage>Veda Scott is attempting to interview a clearly pissed off Charlie Haas who is attempting to the leave the arena. She asks the question that everyone wants to know - Where was Shelton Benjamin tonight? Haas gives a sour look. "Even if I knew the answer I wouldn't tell you!" Haas then stormed off.

6) The American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) beat Kyle O'Reilly & Roderick Strong when Edwards applied the ACHILLES LOCK on O'Reilly @ 20:15.

An excellent tag team match that saw the Wolves stage a huge comeback. Edwards, who wasn't one hundred percent was isolated early by Strong and O'Reilly. They hit double teams and continued to work on his soft back. Edwards was able to make the tag to Richards who turned things around. Both took turns punishing O'Reilly until all four battled in the ring. Edwards reversed O'Reilly's suplex and quickly applied his submission hold forcing him to tap. Strong seeing that the end was near tried to leave the ring before things were over. He was met by the hulking masked man who attacked Michael Elgin a few weeks ago in Baltimore. Strong was power bombed through the table as the masked men left through the crowd yet again.



-R.O.H. Television Title Match-
7) El Generico beat "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett (c) (w/Maria & Bob Evans) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 13:13 when Evans attacked Generico.

Generico threw a ton of offense at Bennett in his first title defense and to his credit he wouldn't stay down. Still there was concern mounting on the outside and "Brutal" Bob Evans took matters into his own hands and low bridged the masked man. Referee Paul Turner saw the infraction and called for the bell as Generico writhed in pain. Quickly a three on one developed until Adam Cole cleared house with a chair.

-Eight Man Elimination Match-
8) Jay Lethal, Rhett Titus, Mark & Jay Briscoe defeated S.C.U.M. (Steve Corino, Rhino, Jimmy Jacobs & Kevin Steen) @ 38:56.

An epic contest that saw Lethal score his second pinfall on the R.O.H. World champion. Way too much action to call here

Elimination #1 - Steve Corino pinned Rhett Titus with the OLD SCHOOL SUPLEX @ 8:45.
Elimination #2 - Jay Lethal pinned Steve Corino with the LETHAL INJECTION @ 15:01.

JS: Ladies and gentlemen R.O.H. is prepping for it's next huge show and it is set for March 15, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois at the Frontier Fieldhouse it will be the "R.O.H. 11th Anniversary Show" and I already have three matches signed to announce to you this evening.

First, the R.O.H. World Heavyweight champion Kevin Steen will meet the challenge of "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin. There was some speculation that Jay Lethal might use his "Survival of the Fittest" victory and cash it in to get another crack at Steen. Instead he has challenged the man who injured him at "Beyond Good and Evil" Steen's stablemate Rhino!

JL: You know I should I figured that I wouldn't really get a chance to face you in a fair fight Kevin Steen and back at "Beyond Good and Evil" I found out what I already knew - that you are unworthy of wearing a belt with the name honor in it.

You decided to send out a flunky, a mindless mercenary like Rhino to attack me during my interview time. Well you know what Steen I can wait. You see I have all the time I need because I still have a title shot in my back pocket that I can cash in at any time. Don't worry I've got some big plans for you so you can wait because right now my total focus is on you Rhino. Rhino you made one mistake, you didn't finish the job and on March 15th, I'm come straight at you.

NG: Hello R.O.H. fans, Nigel McGuinness here with another update for the 11th Anniversary show.

First I'd like to announce another title match that has just been signed for Chicago and it is for the R.O.H. World Tag Team titles. The champions Jay and Mark Briscoe will defend against Truth Martini's Young Bucks. The Bucks were able to get past at least one half of the World's Greatest Tag Team in Charlie Haas as Shelton Benjamin was unable to appear. Still the Bucks are an extremely capable team and under Martini's management they are even more dangerous.

Next, the self professed Icon - Matt Hardy will face Rhett Titus in a match that I know at least one of these men will be looking forward to. When I informed Mr. Hardy of his opponent he walked away in a huff claiming that Mr. Titus was "beneath him" and he wanted to know when I would be suspending Adam Cole. While I'm on that topic I don't usually condone the use of foreign objects but in Mr. Hardy's case I'd make an exception just this once. I think he needs to earn his respect in the ring and in that locker room.

Lastly I'd like to announce that a man who has been working very hard to return to the ring after an untimely injury has been cleared to compete and he is "No Fear" Mike Mondo. Mondo is very excited to be back to active competition and he' facing a man who is on a bit of a winning streak in former ROH champion - Homicide.. MWJ: Greetings ROH fans. I've decided that this next update will come from yours truly the grand czar of Ring of Honor himself - MW Jergs. I've become a bit concerned about the security around here at our most recent events and I'd like to address two instances in particular.

First, let me make this next statement very clear - Kevin Kelly does not work for this company - my company. I've already apologized once about how Mr.Kelly came to learn of his termination but he was to blame for that as well. Over the past few months he has taken it upon himself to trespass and harass ROH wrestlers, officials, and staff in an attempt to undermine our ability to give you the best in pro wrestling action. I'm proud to say that my personal staff has eliminated that threat and if Mr.Kelly is found on the premises of any of our events either in the locker room or near the ring he will be arrested.

Second, there is rather large individual that has been attacking various wrestlers during our live events namely - Michael Elgin and Roderick Strong. That man has been identified as a former wrestler who competed most recently for Chikara, his name is Tursas. I will admit I am intrigued at what this man might be able to do in a ring but if he wants a job here he's going about it the wrong way. I also feel that is working under the direction of another individual and I think I know who that man is. One thing is for sure, he will no longer interfere in any more ROH events from now on because as of right now my personal security - Mr. Ron Harris and Mr. Don Harris will take over handling any sensitive issues during live events.

Now that that is settled. I have a few more announcements for the 11th Anniversary show. Charlie Haas has been even more pissed off than usual and most of his venom is directed at his tag team partner Shelton Benjamin. I've been told that Mr. Benjamin will be in Chicago and he will have a chance to explain himself to Charlie Haas in the middle of the ring.

Two more tag team matches have been signed as well. The American Wolves - Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards will take on Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs of S.C.U.M. while Roderick Strong & Kyle O'Reilly will combat Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman of C & C. One of these teams will earn a future title shot with a victory because the winners will face off later that evening!

Should be an incredible night of wrestling fans so make sure to get tickets while they are still available.

*M.W.Jergs is out to welcome the fans and run down tonight's card. His twin bodyguards are wandering about the ringside area as he begins to speak.

"R.O.H. fans we have yet another incredible night of wrestling action scheduled for you. I think the R.O.H. brass he worked very hard to bring you the very best in the world. I would like to address the security issues that have been brought to may attention the past few cards and I'd like to ease any fears that the fans may have at ringside. My personal staff will be handling security tonight. You will not see masked men running out of the crowd or anything unusual here tonight."

And with that R.D. Evans makes his way down to ringside with several papers in his hands. He steps into the ring and addresses the owner of R.O.H.



"Good day sir. I am barrister R.D. Evans but then again you knew that. I am here to ensure that justice is done. You've been served!"

Evans hands papers to a confused Jergs as he begins to leave the ring. The owner interrupts.

"What is this?"

Evans turns his head and answers.

"I represent Mr. Kevin E. Kelly. You are being sued for wrongful termination , as well as assault. Good day and I'll see you in court."

Jergs replies. "Wait a minute. Are you serious? I could have my four lawyers look this over, which I will anyway but I can tell you right now that you have no case. I didn't want to fire Kevin the way I did but he forced my hand and as for the assault he was no longer employed here and was therefore trespassing on company property. So let me save everyone a lot of time and money, this is an open and shut case I suggest that you drop it right now or you and your client will suffer further public embarrassment at my hands.

Evans quickly ran to the back as the show was about to get started.

1) Matt Hardy pinned Rhett Titus @ 4:15 with the TWIST OF FATE

Hardy took the mic before the match began. He said how embarrassing it was to wrestle against a "curtain jerker" such as Titus. He's a former European Heavyweight champion and Nigel McGuinness should know better. Titus responded with solid offense until a reverse whip landed him on his back with a Russian legsweep and then his finisher. Hardy took the mic again and said that he's proven his point. He demanded better competition, in fact he'd gladly take Adam Cole at this point too.

-R.O.H. Tag Team Title Shot on the Line-
2) Roderick Strong & Kyle O'Reilly defeated Cedric Alexander & Caprice Coleman when Strong pinned Coleman with the SICK KICK @ 12:03.

A back and forth match that saw Strong and O'Reilly gel a bit better as a team. They used a few double team moves as they isolated Coleman to soften him up. Strong continued to work on the back and then when all four battled in the ring he landed the Sick Kick to move on in the mini-tournament.

<Backstage> Veda Scott is interviewing Steve Corino, Jimmy Jacobs, and Rhino. Corino takes the lead and says how they will destroy the Wolves and gain another step in regaining the their tag titles. He then says that Rhino will end Jay Lethal's career this evening. Corino and Jacobs leave the frame and Rhino is left flexing. Suddenly the masked man Tursas is pounding away on Rhino! Before anyone knows what's happening Tursas slams Rhino on to the ground with a Power Bomb! They quickly cut back to the ring.

3) "No Fear" Mike Mondo beat Homicide by DISQUALIFICATION @ 10:55 when the ref stopped an ATTACK WITH FORK.

Mondo displayed a tremendous amount of toughness and took all Homicide could dish out. He frustrated him enough that Homicide repeatedly ignored the officials warnings and opened a huge cut on Mondo's head. Wrestlers from the back came out to chase Homicide off and to help attend to Mondo.

-R.O.H. Tag Team Title Shot on the Line-
4) American Wolves beat "Zombie Princess" Jimmy Jacobs & "King of Old School" Steve Corino by DISQUALIFICATION when Corino was caught with a FOREIGN OBJECT @ 18:35.

Richards and Edwards may have won the match but S.C.U.M. battered them with illegal moves most of the match. Edwards was double teamed and was hit with the Spike several times. Lucky for the them ref, Todd Sinclair caught Corino's latest infraction and rang the bell.

-Fight Without Honor-
5) Rhino beat Jay Lethal with the GORE! @ 22:40.

Rhino sold his back injury a bit as he made it out to the ring. Lethal coaxed the big man into making this match a "Fight Without Honor" which he gladly accepted. The match was brutal as both men were opened up. The finish saw Jimmy Jacobs run down to ringside to trip up Lethal and set him up for a GORE that the referee did not see.

*Charlie Haas is in the ring first. He's drinking a beer and talking about how he feels this is a waste of time. He hasn't heard from Shelton in weeks and he isn't showing up now. Just then the music plays and Shelton Benjamin walks out with a sweatshirt on and his hood up. Haas is a bit surprised as Benjamin begins to speak.

"Listen Charlie I'm sorry we haven't been in touch but I was trying to get some business done."

Haas didn't want to hear it. "Hey, you left me totally in the dark. You didn't show last week and humiliated me in the process. Why shouldn't I punch you in the mouth right now?" Benjamin dropped his hood.



Haas smiled. "Please tell me you have some good news partner because by the looks of that I think we can finally go home." Benjamin hesitated, "Look it isn't that easy. Yes as you can tell I've been up North and yes we did talk about going back to the WWE. But they don't want you Charlie."

Haas looked confused. "What!?!"

Benjamin continued, "They said that they didn't need an old washed up Steve Austin wanna-be and that was that."

Haas looked taken aback by those comments. "Well, obviously you told them to stick it and that's why you're back right."

Benjamin paused. "Well.....no. I'm telling you to stick it." And with that Benjamin landed Paydirt on his former partner and left him laying as he headed to the locker room.

-R.O.H. Television Title Match - 2 out of 3 Falls-
6) "Prodigy" Mike Bennett (c) (w/ Maria Kanellis & "Brutal" Bob) defeated Adam Cole in two straight falls @ 19:02.

Fall #1 - Bennett pinned Cole with the PHOTO FINISH @ 4:25 with a handful of tights.

Fall #2 - Bennett pinned Cole with the BOX OFFICE SMASH @ 19:01 after Matt Hardy interfered.

Bennett made quick work of things in the first fall but he held on for dear life in the second as Cole threw almost everything at him. Maria and Bob Evans distracted the official to give Bennett time to recover and that allowed Matt Hardy to intervene. He came down to ringside and hit Cole with brass knuckles that knocked him out. Bennet then picked up a limp Cole and finished him off.

-R.O.H. World Tag Team Title Match-
7) Jay & Mark Briscoe (c) defeated The Young Bucks (w/ Truth Martini) when Jay pinned Matt Jackson with the SPIKE JAY DRILLER @ 7:15.

Martini and his men were off tonight. They simply couldn't handle the Briscoes' offense no matter what interference Martini tried. Jay and Mark hit several double teams and finished off Matt to retain the belts.

-#1 Tag Team Contenders Match-
8) American Wolves defeated Roderick Strong & Kyle O'Reilly when Eddie Edwards pinned Strong with the DIE HARD @ 25:10 to earn the title shot.

A thrilling match that saw several near falls and many high impact moves. After all four battled in the ring Edwards caught Strong and dropped him on his head to gain the win.

-R.O.H. World Title Match-
9) "Wrestling's Worst Nightmare" Kevin Steen (c) (w/ Steve Corino) pinned "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin with a CROSSBODY REVERSE INTO A SPIKE DDT @ 28:45.

A very hard fought match between both men. Elgin had a few near falls but Steen was able to stay away from him enough to gain the victory. The end saw Elgin go to the top and hit a Flying press that Steen turned into the end of the match.

JS: Ladies and gentlemen a very exciting 11th Anniversary show has us getting ready to head into to Asheville, North Carolina on March 30th at the WNC AG Center. Two matches already signed, first we finish Round One of the Top Prospects tournament as "Canada's Own" Ethan Page will take on blue-blood Juan Francisco de Coronado. We also have a Four-Man Scramble set with the winner to get an R.O.H. World Title Match against Kevin Steen at Supercard of Honor VII in New York City.

The participants are Roderick Strong, El Generico, Homicide and Adam Cole. Each would make an interesting opponent for the champion. But who will earn the shot?
