The ROH fans went crazy as Steen rallied his team down 3 to 1 to take the match and drive the WWE from their backyard. Triple H wasn't finished though as he motioned to the back as the eliminated wrestlers re-joined the fray and attacked Steen. The ROH locker emptied as well and soon their was a huge brawl with at least twenty wrestlers battling around and in the ring.
Suddenly a voice rang over the mic. "STOP! STOP! STOP IT DAMMIT!
It was Vince McMahon. He stepped on to the ramp and he was joined next to him by R.O.H. owner M.W. Jergs. Many of the wrestlers froze and turned their attention.
VM: "Stop it right now dammit. Every WWE contracted wrestler get your ass out of that ring and walk right into the back and get out of here unless you want to be terminated!"
Slowly the wrestlers left as the ROH contingent was a bit stunned but smiled as there foes left.
VM: "Hunter, you and Stephanie get up here. This is over. I let this play out long enough. And while I appreciated your aggressiveness with this plan you failed to realize what a waste of resources this was for our company. You need to be more forward thinking. Invasions and takeovers are passé. They've been played out and done to death. The game has changed."
"And with that in mind. I'm going to show you what true power is. I'm going to show you the kind of power and influence that our company has in this business."
"Kevin Steen. I must say I was quite impressed with your performance here today. I think that you may have what it takes to one day be a WWE superstar. I offer you the opportunity to make a dream come true. Mr. Steen I offer you a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment."
Steen's jaw dropped and the fans jeered loudly. He stared around the arena in disbelief. He walked out of the ring and up the ramp and without saying a word walked past McMahon. Vince smiled broadly.
VM: "I think it's safe to say that was the first time he's ever been left speechless. Welcome to the world of sports entertainment."
