(Thanks bookerbill, crimson - it's always more fun to know someone is reading along) R.O.H. NEWSWIRE 8/19/14(Nigel McGuinness is in his office) NG: Hello fans. I have the latest update to "Death Before Dishonor XII" which will be held in Milwaukee on August 22nd. I have several matches to announce but first I have to address the comments of Jimmy Jacobs. Jimmy Jacobs let me say that if I haven't said this enough to you let me say it here on video. Thank you. You and Kevin Steen, amnd Roddy Strong and B.J. Whitmer. Thank you all for standing up for this company. That being said I don't owe you boys anything. For some reason you all seem to think that you're the only four people that truly care about Ring of Honor and the fact that the WWE is trying to find some way to break us apart to make money off of our talent. It's also awfully hard to justify giving you a tag title when you lost your tag match at Summer Sizzler. So here's what I will do - The Addiction will have their first tag title defense and it will be against the team you lost to in Adam Cole and Steve Corino. But you will get a chance to prove yourselves if you can beat Bruderschaft des Kreuzes in Milwaukee you will get your title shot. You need to earn it. Also I'd like to announce a Fight Without Honor between two of ROH's best wrestlers now turned hated enemies - Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards. One fall to a finish! Tickets are still available. August 22, 2014 Milwaukee, Wisconsin Turner Ballroom
"Death Before Dishonor XII"
Year 2 - Card #15 (#34)
1) "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett (w/Maria Kannellis) beat "Mr. Azcuar" Rocky Romero with the BOX OFFICE SMASH @ 12:35.
A furious pace to this one as Bennett had some trouble putting away the pesky vet. Finally a trip by Maria led to a Spear and then the BOS. After the match Bennett grabbed the mic and was upset at his placement on the card. He's a former ROH Television champion and not some curtain jerker. He demands respect and soon he'll show everyone why.
2) "Scrap Daddy" Adam Pearce & "Knockout Artist" Chris Hero beat "Sicilian Psychopath" Tommaso Ciampa & a Steel Chair when Hero pinned Ciampa with a ROLLING ELBOW SMASH @ 11:01.
Ciampa claimed to have a mystery partner for this match and Pearce and Hero mocked Ciampa before the bell. Their smiles faed as Ciampa came to the ring with a steel chair and promptly set it in his corner. He attacked both men and the match was on. Ciampa fought bravely during the handicap match and battered his opponents. He took quite a beating as well and was victim of a 2 on 1 that led to Hero landing his patented move.
In Ring: Jay Briscoe was already in the ring pacing when Shelton Benjamin came out to ringside with his right arm in a sling. He was accompanied by WWE advocate Paul Heyman who asked for Nigel McGuinness to meet them all in the ring.
PH: Ladies and gentlemen. My name is Paul Heyman and as you can see Shelton Benjamin is unfit to wrestle here in Milwaukee this evening and even though he so look forward to delivering a savage beating to Mr. Briscoe for his past transgressions. But I am here to offer a solution and Mr. McGuinness with your permission I'd like to suggest a new opponent for Jay Briscoe. Now it is not Montel Vontavious Porter because he is currently in Japan at this time but instead another superstar that would be happy to match skills with Mr. Briscoe.
(Jay Briscoe grabbed the mic from Heyman.) JB: I don't give a sh$# who you bring out here. They about to get their ass whupped. It's fine by me Nigel.
(McGuinness shook his head yes and Heyman smiled.)
PH: Ladies and gentlemen I proudly present. "The Whole F'N Show" - ROB..VAN...DAM
3) Rob Van Dam (w/Paul Heyman & Shelton Benjamin) and Jay Briscoe Fought to a DOUBLE-DISQUALIFICATION after a wild brawl on the floor @ 13:45.
This match was on the outside even more that the inside. Plenty of high risk moves and general brawling. The ref had no choice but to throw the match out as neither man heeded the instructions. Benjamin then attacked Briscoe and showed that he was simply faking. Jay Lethal, ACH, and Cedric Alexander all joined the battle to give R.O.H. the advantage as they chased off the WWE contingent.
-#1 Contenders Match- 4) "Zombie Princess" Jimmy Jacobs & B.J. Whitmer beat Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (Ares & Tursas) (w/ Jakob Hammermier) when Whitmer pinned Ares with a BUCKLE BOMB @ 16:22.
A close match that saw both teams have their chances. All four were in the ring and it was the botched interference by Hammermier that caused Ares to be open to the high impact power bomb and the pinfall. After the match both Ares and Tursas berated their personal announcer back to the locker room.
-R.O.H. Television Title Match- 5) Roderick Strong (c) Drew with Jay Lethal @ 30:00.
A technical classic. Both men used multiple finishers in an attempt to put the other away. Lethal went to the top rope for Hail to the King but Strong out his foot on the ropes as time expired. The fans clapped wildly to reward both for their efforts in this one.
-Fight Without Honor- 6) "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards beat "Lone Wolf" Davey Richards (w/R.D. Evans) with the ACHILLES LOCK @ 10:25.
The two attacked one another before the bell could ring. A brawl ensued and Richards took the upper hand and set up a ladder and slammed Edwards onto a table below. Richards splash found nobody home as he crashed and burned. Edwards used the mistake to his advantage and bloodied Richards with a shot into the ringpost. Richards was able to counter after some interference from the barrister. As the match continued the action again spilled outside and inexplicably Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly came down the ramp way to witness the battle. They got a bit too close and Richards pushed Fish to the ground, this prompted O'Reilly to land a stiff series of kicks to Davey. This set up a Sit-out F5 to the floor. Edwards then sent him back inside and clamped down on his submission move. Richards was limp and the ref called for the bell. Afterwards Fish rushed the ring and put the boots to Richards. They hit the TAIL OF THE DRAGON on the lifeless "Lone Wolf" and then Fish turned to Richards and extended his hand. Edwards smiled and embraced Fish. All three stood in the ring triumphant while Richards lay helpless.
-R.O.H World Tag Team Title Match- 7) The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) (c) defeated Adam Cole & Steve Corino when Kazarian pinned Cole with the LARIAT / CHOP BLOCK COMBO @ 12:51.
The new champions looked sharp in this one and they refused to let anything stand in their way. Jimmy Jacobs and B.J. Whitmer watched from the aisle and after the match was over they taunted Daniels and Kazarian saying that the belts would theirs soon.
-R.O.H. World Title Match- - Last Man Standing- 8) "Mr.Wrestling" Kevin Steen (c) beat "Phenomenal" A.J. Styles when Styles could answer the Ten count @ 25:21.
Steen won 10-5 (tokens). Steen was on the offensive and went wild after wrestling away a metal pipe from Styles on the outside. He slammed it into Styles head three consecutive times! Both men were bloodied and the violence became almost too much to watch. The end saw Steen land the F-CINQ on to the ramp.

Death Before Dishonor XII was a very cool read and I really liked the draw between Roderick Strong and Jay Lethal. It's too bad AJ Styles failed to beat Kevin Steen, but I liked that Eddie Edwards won over Davey Richards...

Thanks so much Crimson. Strong and Lethal was a fantastic match to play. Finally just had to end it.
Guys can seem to get to Steen and win by DQ or CO but never a pinfall/submission. His card is very strong, of course. I was hoping AJ would unseat him but it was not to be. I do have an idea where I need to go next with challengers for his belt though.
Edwards-Richards went the way I wanted. If Davey would have won I was going to make it the blow-off and move on but now I may be able to string this along until Final Battle.

ROH NEWSWIRE 9/3/14(Joey Styles is in the lockeroom.) JS: Ladies and gentlemen I have tons of information about the next Ring of Honor card slated for September 14th in Wheeling, West Virginia at the WesBanco Arena - "All-Star Extravaganza" Now as you now Kevin Steen is still the R.O.H. World champion after being taken to the limit by A.J. Styles. But this time around Steen won't know his opponent until after the Fatal-Four Way that has been signed for Wheeling. It's "Scrap Daddy" Adam Pearce, Adam Cole, "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles, and "Sicilian Psychopath" Tommaso Ciamp locking up for a shot to face Steen later in the card. Also Jay Briscoe will finally get his chance for revenge against Shelton Benjamin who was obviously faking his shoulder injury at "Death Before Dishonor" and as a result of that dishonorable behavior matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has ordered a TABLES MATCH. If Benjamin does not wrestle he will be suspended immediately and indefinitely for failing to comply with the terms of his contract. Also we will see a re-match for the ROH Television Title as Roderick Strong will defend against Jay Lethal and last time out they went the full-time limit in a epic contest. What will happen in Wheeling? Lastly we have words from the ROH World Tag Team Champions - The Addiction, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian as they prepare to face off with two members of Mount Rushmore in Jimmy Jacobs and B.J. Whitmer. (Daniels and Kaz are in the lockeroom area with the belts around the waists.) CD: I still haven't quite understood the your deal Jimmy Jacobs and B.J. Whitmer. I mean I respect what you both do in the ring but this idea that you have that you need to keep R.O.H. pure for those who only stay here makes no sense. Why limit yourself when the only way to prove your worth is to go everywhere and anywhere that people want you? Why limit yourself? Or maybe in your case you realized that this was the only place you felt comfortable. Where you felt safe. Well, in our opinion safety isn't how you achieve greatness. And after all the places that Kaz and I have been Ring of Honor is the place where the action is the purest around. So holding these belts mean as much to us than any other gold we've ever held in another promotion. So we say stop your bitchin and bring your best because we know we will. If you don't like us holding these, them come and claim them. R.O.H. NEWSWIRE 9/12/14(Michael Elgin stands in the locker room.) ME: Davey Richards. I'd be lying if I didn't admit that this year has been a frustrating one in Ring of Honor for me. I seem to get just so close to finally grabbing the R.O.H. World Title and then at the last instant it doesn't happen. I was starting to wonder if I was one of those types of people that just couldn't quite finish, that just couldn't win the big one when it mattered. But then you came along Davey and I really should thank you. Last time we wrestled you tried to injure me. You made it personal, and with that you brought out every bit of anger and frustration that's been building up inside of me. You re-focused me. You gave me purpose and my purpose now is to destroy you. You done a real good job over the past year of getting plenty of people upset at you in this company. You'll find on September 14th that your arrogance will finally catch up with you. September 14, 2014 Wheeling, West Virginia WesBanco Arena "All-Star Extravaganza" Year 2 - Card #16 (#35) 1) ACH beat Matt Taven (w/Truth Martini) with the BIG BANG ATTACK @ 19:14. A fantastic opener that saw plenty of high flying action. ACH was able hook his DDT after catching Taven out of the turnbuckle. He got the three just as time would have expired. 2) 3.0 (Scott Parker & Shane Matthews) upset Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov) when Matthews pinned Romero with SAMOAN DROP NECKBREAKER @ 9:24. A major upset as the debuting 3.0 got the surprise victory over the well traveled Hooligans. 3) Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (Ares, Tursas, & Jakob Hammermeier) beat ReDRagon (Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly & Eddie Edwards) by DISQUALIFICATION when Davey Richards smashed a steel chair on Jakob Hammermeier @ 7:55. Late in the match Richards came out to ringside during a pier six brawl and made sure that the ref saw him smashing a chair into Hammermeier costing the new trio the match. -Tables Match-4) Jay Briscoe beat Shelton Benjamin when Benjmain missed a stacked tables splash @ 13:33. A wild brawl that saw Nigel McGuinness and extra ROH security around the ring in case any WWE personnel were on hand. Benjamin was left to go it alone and almost got the win but a costly missed dive gave the match to Briscoe. -R.O.H. Television Title Match-5) Roderick Strong (c) beat Jay Lethal by DISQUALIFICATION @ 19:55. Another chapter in their feud. Lethal became frustrated at being unable to put Strong away. The match went to the outside and Lethal had the advantage. The ref went down after a buckle whip and Strong brought a chair into the ring. Lethal grabbed it away and leveled in the skull twice. A second ref took over and promptly disqualified Lethal who argued with the official as Strong slipped away. 6) "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin beat "Lone Wolf" Davey Richards (w/RD Evans) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 20:01. Another match goes to the floor. Richards was on the offensive and refused to heed the officials instructions. He slammed Elgin into the cornerpost and with Evans' help set him up on a table. The ref had already called the match when Richards hit a double stomp sending Elgin thru the wood. Officials were out to clear the scene but once Elgin recovered he started attacking anyone in sight to get to Richards. The two battled to the back before order was restored. -R.O.H. Tag Team Title Match-7)"Zombie Princess" Jimmy Jacobs & B.J. Whitmer beat The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) (c) to win the tag titles when Kazarian tapped out to THE END TIME @ 25:25. Interference marred this title defense as both Strong and Kevin Steen made their presence felt. Steen hit a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER on the concrete on Kazarian while Strong distracted the ref. He then rolled him back in where Jacobs applied his finisher. IN RING:(Truth Martini has the mic.) TM: Ladies and gentlemen this is a monumental day for the House of Truth because I have made not one but two signings to my illustrious group. First a man who needs no introduction - a K.O. specialist Chris Hero. And a man that you all know much too well - the Scrap Daddy and your next R.O.H. World champion Adam Pearce!" -Fatal Four Way #1 Contenders Match-8) "Scrap Daddy" Adam Pearce (w/Truth Martini) beat "Phenomenal" A.J. Styles, "Sicilian Psychopath" Tommaso Ciampa, & Adam Cole (w/Steve Corino) when Pearce pinned Styles with a SPINEBUSTER @ 32:15. Each man had his chances to win the title shot but in the end it was Martini providing the distraction for Pearce to put away the Phenom for the win.

R.O.H. NEWSWIRE 9/20/14(Joey Styles is in front of the ring.) JS: ROH fans I have the latest update for you and it is big. Our next card will be held in Kalamazoo, Michigan, it is "Champions vs. All-Stars" and if you been paying close attention you'll soon realize that the entire Mount Rushmore faction will represent the champions team. Yes, all four men hold R.O.H. gold but they will be severely tested as they face the four man team of A.J. Styles, The Addiction-Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian and Jay Lethal. It should be a fantastic main event in Michigan. We also have a return match scheduled between Jay Briscoe and WWE superstar Rob Van Dam. Last time these two wrestled the ring could not contain them so this time around it will be a Falls Count Anywhere encounter. Standing by with these comments is Jay Briscoe. JB: "In case any of you'all haven't been paying attention let me clarify a few things for you. I'm on a mission. My mission involves violence. It involves pain. It involves destruction of those people that want to hurt what most important to me and that's family. My brother he's still out with multiple injuries but I aint worried because he'll be back whupping ass just like before. In the meantime I'll be happy to get as much for both of us until he's back. Now Rob Van Dam. For some reason someone has put you in my way and really that's all you are - in my way. I mean I respect what you did in 1997 but that was a long time ago brother. You stand for something that I can't stand and that's the WWE. Everything that's wrong with professional wrestling and it is pro 'rasslin, not sports entertainment, man. So you better go back and channel some of that old ECW in you and bring what you got because I can drop you on your pumpkin' in the ring, on the floor, or in the parking lot. It's all the same when falls count anywhere, man. October 11, 2014 Kalamazoo, Michigan Wings Satdium Annex "Champions vs. All-Stars" Year 2 - Card #17 (#36) 1) Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (Tursas & Ares) (w/ Jakob Hammermeier) defeated 3.0 (Scott Parker & Shane Matthews) when Tursas pinned Matthews with DIVING CROSS BODY @ 10:45. The BDK looked sharp in this one and used multiple double teams to keep Parker isolated. He made the hot tags to Matthews who had the momentum on his side until a Giant Lariat by the massive Tursas turned him inside out. This led to getting squashed by the big man for the defeat for the Canadian duo. 2) Adam Cole (w/Steve Corino) beat Kyle O'Reilly with the SUPERKICK @ 11:25. O'Reilly landed a huge dropkick to Cole in a chair at ringside and things seemed to be going his way. Back inside he went to the top rope and Cole caught him and hit a spectacular hurricanrana to the mat followed up by an elbow drop. As O'Reilly staggered to his feet he ate a Superkick for the three count. 3) Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov) defeated ACH & Cedric Alexander when Koslov pinned Alexander with the CONTRACT KILLER @ 9:45. The Hooligans were given a few anxious moments but in the end their experience won out. They landed their tag finisher for the win. 4) "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin beat "Knockout Artist" Chris Hero (w/Truth Martini) by DISQUALIFICATION when Martini dragged the ref out of the ring @ 14:11. An fairly even match until Elgin slammed Hero into the ring post. He rolled him back in and hit a flurry of offense. Lariats, Backfists and finally an Avalanche Elgin Bomb that knocked him cold. Martini knew his charge was in trouble and simply dragged the official out of the ring causing the Disqualification. Elgin now turned his attention to the lanky manager who naturally begged off. This allowed Adam Pearce to hit the ring as he attacked Elgin from behind. He then hit two Piledrivers and was soon scared off by ROH security. 5) "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett (w/Maria Kanellis) beat "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards with the PHOTO FINISH @ 17:25. Edwards was unable to overcome the distractions of Kanellis who gave her man the opening he needed to steal the victory. 6) "Lone Wolf" Davey Richards (w/R.D. Evans) beat Bobby Fish with ALARM CLOCK @ 14:24. Evans tripped Fish at the ropes to help his client and then ran interference from Kyle O'Reilly who ran to ringside. Evans ended up getting kicked in the head and was semi-conscious on the ringside floor while Richards headed for higher ground without the barrister. -Falls Count Anywhere-7) Jay Briscoe pinned Rob Van Dam (w/Paul Heyman) with a JAY DRILLER thru a TABLE @ 18:14. A good old-fashioned ECW streetfight between these two combatants. Van Dam hit the Van Daminator and then set Briscoe on a table and went to the top rope. His splash missed and he went crashing through the wood. Briscoe then grabbed another table from under the ring and hit his Jay Driller to finish off RVD. After the match Heyman was checking on Van Dam and Briscoe grabbed him with two hands. He landed two rights before a figure from the crowd stepped out to stop him. It was Brock Lesnar! Dressed in street clothes and a knit hat he landed a few strikes on Briscoe and then hit the F-5 on the concrete. He then tossed Heyman over his shoulder and left through the crowd as ROH officials rushed to the scene. -Champions vs. All-Stars-8) Mount Rushmore (Kevin Steen, Roderick Strong, Jimmy Jacobs & B.J. Whitmer) beat A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Jay Lethal when Steen pinned Lethal with the F-CINQ @ 27:15. The end saw a miscommunication on the All-Stars side as Kazarian accidentally hit Lethal with a spin kick that led to Steen's finisher. After the match Lethal was visibly upset and pushed away any attempts to reconcile the mistake.
