March 30, 2013 Asheville, North Carolina WNC AG Center
"All for the Glory" Year 1 - Card #5
-Top Prospects Match- 1) Juan Francisco Coronado defeated Ethan Page with the CORONADO CLUTCH @ 6:25.
An even match between the two prospects. Coronado advances after he locks in his submission hold and Page is forced to tap.
2) S.C.U.M. ("King of Old School" Steve Corino & Rhino) beat Grizzly Redwood & Rhett Titus when Rhino pinned Redwood with the GORE! @ 8:45.
Redwood and Titus showed good chemistry for a first time tag team and gave S.C.U.M. a few anxious moments. In the end Corino hit the Old School Expulsion which set up a vicious Gore from Rhino to seal the deal.
<Backstage> Veda Scott interviews Charlie Haas, who is pissed. Haas is excited to get back in the ring tonight and he actually feels sorry for Mike Mondo. On second thought it's his own damn fault. Anyway with each kick to the head he'll be thinking about Shelton.
3) "Outlaw" Charlie Haas defeated "No Fear" Mike Mondo with the HAAS OF PAIN @ 7:03.
Haas and Mondo exchange heavy offense during this contest. The match goes to the floor several times and Haas comes out on top. He rolls Mondo back in and continues to work on his formerly bad ankle. After several minutes in the Haas of Pain Mondo is forced to tap. After the match Haas continues his onslaught until Grizzly Redwood and Rhett Titus hit the scene to chase Haas to the back.
4) "Icon" Matt Hardy beat Delirious with a TWIST OF FATE @ 11:50.
The match went on longer than expected for Hardy. Once again he voiced his displeasure as to his opponent and wondered why Adam Cole was getting a chance at a title shot later tonight and he was not. The wild masked man made things tough for the self professed icon however Hardy pulled it out of nowhere with his finisher.
5) The Young Bucks (w/Truth Martini) beat C & C Wrestle Factory when Matt Jackson pinned Caprice Coleman with a MOONSAULT @ 25:45.
An incredibly exciting and high flying match. The Bucks were helped by the nefarious Martini on several occasions. He did provide a distraction to set up his team for the victory though.
<Backstage>Veda Scott is with Roderick Strong who appears confident in a win tonight and a chance to finally get fat boy Steen in the a ring. He isn't worried about his opponents very much and asks Scott what she's doing after the show.
6) Jay Lethal beat "Zombie Princess" Jimmy Jacobs (w/ Steve Corino) with HAIL TO THE KING @ 18:01.
Jacobs did not appear interested in winning the match but rather trying to hurt Lethal. Corino attempted to interfere but was hit by Lethal with a dive through the ropes that knocked him to the floor. After the fall Lethal was able to roll clear of any attempted post-match beatdown by S.C.U.M.
7) "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards beat Kyle O'Reilly with the ACHILLES LOCK @ 13:25.
O'Reilly had several chances but simply couldn't put Edwards away. Edwards was able to escape the Anklelock and applied his own submission hold that finally felled O'Reilly for the win.
-R.O.H. 4-Man Scramble for R.O.H. World Title shot- 8) Adam Cole defeated Roderick Strong, El Generico, and Homicide to win the World title shot @ 37:05.
*Cole pinned Strong with the FLORIDA KEY
Plenty of action as these contenders went all out. Matt Hardy attempted to interfere but instead nailed Homicide with a right hand rather than Cole his intended target. This gave Cole and Strong a chance to battle toe to toe while Generico unleashed a wicked dive on both Hardy and Homicide on the floor. Cole reverse Strong attempt at a Backbreaker and hit the Key for a chance to face Kevin Steen.

Delighted to see Adam Cole emerge triumphantly from the Four Man Scramble match. I love the team of Grizzly Redwood and Rhett Titus; great potential there! Nice card, mwjergs.

* Thanks for the comments Horrorshow SB: Charlie Haas. We've been partners for a long time and we've probably been friends for even longer. But what I did was long overdue. You see you lost sight of what it is to be a professional wrestler. You lost sight of what made us the "World's Greatest Tag Team". Not only were we the most technical, the most vicious, the most athletic duo but we were also the most intelligent. Well your decisions over the past few months haven't been so smart. You see you were more concerned with drinking beer than you were about training. In case you hadn't noticed Charlie we aren't as young as we used to be and if you want to compete against some of these young hungry boys in ROH you need to be on top of your game. We'll you been slipping. I tried so many times before to talk to you about it. But the answer from you was always the same. "I've got it, you worry too much". So I started looking for a way out. So when I got suspended, on purpose last time. Yeah, I wanted some time away, away from you Charlie. I took a trip up North to see if I could find a job and there was interest. So I was told what to do and to be ready for when the call would come and I'd be back in the big time where I belong. So you see Charlie I'm just here waiting and while I wait I may as well show the entire roster just who the real Shelton Benjamin is - a world class athlete. The Gold Standard in professional wrestling. So I may as well start with you. You are going to be the example Charlie. I'll tell you this. I'm going to be real happy to put your out of your misery because what you've become is sickening. It pains me to see what you've done to yourself and it looks like the only way you'll ever listen to me is by taking a few shots to the head. Get ready Charlie because I am.

R.O.H. NEWSWIRE 4/4/13(Nigel McGuinness stands in front of the ring.) NG: Fans we are only one day away from showing the world what R.O.H. has to offer. I've spent the past few days completing the rest of this card and I am sure that you won't be disappointed. This is what we've announced so far. April 5, 2013 New York City, New York Hammerstein Ballroom "Supercard of Honor VII" -R.O.H. World Title Match-Kevin Steen (c) vs. Adam Cole -R.O.H. World Tag Team Title Match-Mark & Jay Briscoe (c) vs. The American Wolves -Battle of Former Partners-"Outlaw" Charlie Haas vs. "The Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin R.O.H. owner M.W.Jergs and Kevin Kelly will meet in the ring to finally set things straight. -R.O.H. Television Title Match- -Maria Kanellis and Bob Evans are banned from Ringside!-Mike Bennett (c) (w/Maria & Bob Evans) vs. El Generico Well fans we've got more. I've grown tired of Matt Hardy's whining. He claims that he wants better competition. He says that he wants title opportunities. I'm giving him his chance. If he can defeat this top contender then he will get his title shot. It will be Matt Hardy against "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin! Also we have a very special six-man tag team match with S.C.U.M. members Steve Corino, Jimmy Jacobs, & "The Man-Beast" Rhino and they will take on Jay Lethal & the C & C Wrestle Factory of Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander. Another battle of top contenders has been signed as Roderick Strong will match skills with Homicide. "No Fear" Mike Mondo will look for his first victory since returning to Ring of Honor and he'll try to get past Kyle O'Reilly. We also have Truth Martini's Young Bucks set to take on newly formed tag team Rhett Titus and Grizzly Redwood. Fans you won't want to miss a second of the action. If you can't join us live then order the IPPV and don't miss a single minute of action. See you in New York.

April 5, 2013 New York City, New York Hammerstein Ballroom
"Supercard of Honor VII" Year 1 - Card #6
1) Grizzly Redwood & Rhett Titus defeat The Young Bucks (w/Truth Martini) when Titus pinned Matt Jackson with the MUFF DRIVER @ 12:25.
An upset to start the card off this evening. The Bucks thought it would be a cakewalk but crisp double teams kept them off balance. All four men battled in the ring and after a Superkick, Titus hit the Crucifix Power bomb to get the pin for his team.
2) Kyle O'Reilly defeated "No Fear" Mike Mondo with the GUILLOTINE CHOKE @ 9:45.
Mondo has yet to gain a win since his return to R.O.H. He struggled to get on track against O'Reilly who seemed a step ahead most of the night.
3) Roderick Strong beat Homicide by DISQUALIFICATION after he ATTACKED his opponent with a FORK @ 11:02.
An even match between contenders. Homicide was in trouble later in the match and resorted to his fork which was immediately spotted by Paul Turner who called for the bell. Homicide tossed the ref to the floor and continued his onslaught until Strong's partner, Kyle O'Reilly hit the ring.
4) S.C.U.M. ("King of Old School" Steve Corino, "Zombie Princess" Jimmy Jacobs, & Rhino) beat Jay Lethal, C & C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander) when Rhino pinned Coleman following the GORE! @ 20:52.
An extremely entertaining encounter where both sides had their chances for victory. After all six fought in the ring Coleman was blindsided with the Gore and there was no way he could recover.
*R.O.H. Owner -MW Jergs and Kevin Kelly Meet In-Ring (Jergs and his twin bodyguards are out first) MWJ: Ok. I think that this has gone one long enough so Kevin Kelly please if you would come on down.
(Kelly walks to ring with his legal counsel Barrister R.D. Evans)
MWJ: Thank you gentlemen for joining me tonight. Kevin it's a pleasure seeing you here tonight. I'll be honest I didn't expect it.
KK: (Producing his own mic) I can't say the same for you. You make me sick.
MWJ: Now Kevin let's keep things civil. I brought you out here to clear the air. First off and this is the last time I am saying this. I am sorry how you were fired from R.O.H. Now even though I'm sorry how you got fired I'm not sorry about firing you. Your actions these past few months have proved to me that I made the right decision. You have been unprofessional and quite frankly a bit of a baby about the entire situation. Now -
KK: Just shut up. Do you know who I am? Do you know who I am? I'm Kevin "#&*!- ing" Kelly! I've called matches on all seven continents. I am bar none the greatest commentator in professional wrestling today - bar none. Replacing me with that Bingo Hall hack Joey Styles was a personal insult that I shall never forgive. I will not rest until you are a ruined man and you leave Ring of Honor in disgrace.
MWJ: Well that's going to be kind of hard because you sir are out of a job. Secondly that "lawyer" standing next to you isn't the best counsel to keep, in fact I'm sure he isn't a lawyer at all. Most legal documents aren't written in crayon. So your feeble attempts to strike back at me have failed and unless you have something else to say I'd like my security team to escort you out - for the final time.
KK: (Moving closer) Yes I do. Don't you ever call me "Hermie"!
(Kelly then spit directly in Jergs' face. The owner then ordered the Harris twins to hold on to Kelly. R.D. Evans quickly left the ring and ran to the back. As the twins held Kelly and the owner was verbally berating him Kelly pleaded into his mic "Save Me!" His rescue came in the form of the massive Tursas who came through the crowd and landed a double clothesline on the security men. He then scooped up Kelly over his shoulder and lead him out through the crowd.)
-R.O.H. Television Title Match- Maria Kanellis & "Brutal" Bob Evans Barred from Ringside- 5) "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett (c) beat El Generico with the BOX OFFICE SMASH @ 16:45.
Bennett retained after Generico missed with a dive to the floor. He then rolled him in and hit his finish to gain the three count.
6) "Icon" Matt Hardy (w/ Steve Corino) beat "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin with the SIDE EFFECT @ 12:25.
The crowd was shocked as Steve Corino grabbed the mic from Bobby Cruise to deliver Hardy's intro announcing him as the newest member of S.C.U.M. Corino's guidance paid off as he interfered after a Deadlift German Suplex had Hardy weary. Hardy was able to use Corino's distractions to eek out a victory over the Canadian strongman.
7) "The Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin beat "Outlaw" Charlie Haas by DISQUALIFICATION @ 13:51 when has pushed the ref over and slammed a steel chair over Benjamin's head.
A brutal personal battle. The match spent most of the time outside the ring as both men exchanged chair shots, and ring post tosses. Ref Todd Sinclair tried to let the match go but he got too close and Haas tossed him to the ground. R.O.H. officials had to pulls Haas off as Benjamin was tended to on the outside.
<Backstage> Veda Scott interviewed Matt Hardy and Steve Corino. Both seemed pleased at Hardy becoming the newest member of S.C.U.M. He also reminded everyone that Nigel McGuinness had to give him a title shot now. Scott paused and asked what would happen if Hardy had to face Kevin Steen. Corino quickly changed the subject and escorted Hardy from the scene.
-R.O.H. World Tag Team Title Match- 8) Jay & Mark Briscoe (c) defeated The American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) when Mark Pinned Richards with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE @ 23:52.
A classic hard hitting tag title match. The Briscoes double team moves proved to be the difference in this one.
-R.O.H. World Title Match- 9) "Wrestling's Worst Nightmare" Kevin Steen (c) beat Adam Cole with the F-CINQ @ 15:10.
Steen used his illegal tactics and weight advantage to get the upper hand on Cole. He was able to overpower him and retain his title once more.

R.O.H. NEWSWIRE 4/7/13(Joey Styles is backstage at Supercard of Honor VII) JS: Hello R.O.H. fans another incredible card here in New York city. No titles changed hands as all champions retained but still there were plenty of surprises. We found out that we probably have not seen the last of Kevin Kelly in R.O.H. and that it was he who was behind the seemingly random attacks of the masked monster Tursas on the R.O.H. roster. Steve Corino has also added yet another member to the S.C.U.M. faction in Matt Hardy who by virtue of his win over Michael Elgin he has earned a shot at the World title that is currently held by S.C.U.M. stablemate and founder Kevin Steen. We also witnessed a brutal first encounter between former partners as Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin tore the house down and into each other. No way that one is over yet. But of course the action won't stop there fans I have two upcoming cards to announce and tickets are on sale now. April 19, 2013 Ring of Honor will be in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania at the Ice Gardens for "Too Daze Gone" and May 4, 2013 in Toronto, Ontario at the Ted Reeve Arena it will be "Border Wars 13'". R.O.H. NEWSWIRE 4/8/13
(Owner M.W. Jergs stands before the camera.)
MWJ: Kevin Kelly. You know I will admit that I underestimated you. I will say that I did not expect you to go to the lengths you have to deceive and manipulate people over the past few months. Not only did you continually break the law by trespassing during ROH programming, you hired some big goon to attack members of the ROH roster and then did it in such a way as to put focus the blame of those attacks on another person in Truth Martini. Well I must say that I give you all the credit I can for putting that little charade together.
But Kevin - you are going to find out that all of those efforts have been in VAIN! You see because while I didn't quite give you enough credit I think that it is you who don't truly realize what you have started here. I am an international businessman with holdings and investments the world over. And while I am a great fan of professional wrestling on a personal level I did not expect to spend so much time here having to deal with problems such as yourself. I have many, many other things which require my attention and you Kevin Kelly have been nothing more than an annoyance to me. Well the time has come for you to pay up. I have asked matchmaker Nigel McGuinness to grant me one request for "Border Wars '13" and that's to put your man Tursas in the ring against the men he attacked over these many weeks. So it will be a 4-Man Elimination Match : "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin, Roderick Strong and The "Man-Beast" Rhino against Tursas in Toronto.
And Kevin Kelly I hope that you crawl out of whatever hole it is you live in right now and that you'll make it a point to be at ringside for that match while three of ROH's finest pick apart your bloated freak and send you both packing for good.
Just remember Hermie. I pull the strings and you are only here because I allow it. See you in Toronto.
