Anyone who says Matt Hardy still has anything to contribute to the business has clearly not watched any of his post WWE work. To BUSINESS, or to wrestling? Because he's very good for anyone who wants to do business regardless of what some fans think of his ability. Maybe we need a Kevin Nash seminar to clear up some of these distinctions between "wrestling performer with solid workrate" and "guy who can draw fans and make money". Example: Tommaso Ciampa was one of my favorite guys to watch in ROH in recent months (before his injury took him out indefinitely but hopefully not permanently). I've never been a big fan of the Hardy's. BUT, if I were running a game company I'd take a Matt Hardy card any day over a Ciampa card because I know which one is going to make more money for me. BUUUUUTTTTT, this is a departure from the original topic, which is future expansion packs. And on that note, there are going to have to be some repeat guys going forward unless the roster expands. As wrestlers change style or appearance and move up or down on the card there should be new cards issued ala Champions Of The Galaxy. Or "classics" cards of guys like Roddy Strong to represent different periods of their careers. I'd have no problem with things like that. As maddog wrote above, there are only a handful of wrestlers on the roster right now that are not represented with cards already: Whitmer, Fish, Thomas, Marshall, Bravados, and maybe a couple others.

I guess it depends on who you are trying to sell to. ROH fans boo'd the shit out Hardy when he was there:
Those fans see me as a "WWE guy", not 1 of their cult faves-so they boo me. RT @ameery2jfan: They boo @matthardybrand on ROH! Disrespectful!

They loved Matt during his first run, but that's when he was seen as an underutilized guy who could work instead of a past his prime, drugged out loser.

I know I'm in the minority of most fans, but when I see an indy promotion advertising ex-wwe talent it looks Bush league and tells me you don't have any talent on your card.

I think it'd be cool to see 'Classic' versions of some guys in the ROH set, specifically Roderick and Davey. Roddy would be a lot like his LOTF3 card, but a No Remorse Corps era Davey would be incredibly different from the card we got in this set. He's changed the moves he does so much it's like two completely different wrestlers.

I'd like an updated color card for Arik Cannon in the future. I already plan to make D.U.F. in my ROH with Sanchez and Callihan. Anyway, ROH needs to bring in some more talent...

As a former promoter I know how much it means to have a "name" on your card. If I booked names like Jerry Lawler, Tommy Rich, or any Memphis name, I get an easy 300 plus draw. My guys never built a fan base beyond around 15 to 20 folks, main reason we are not in business anymore.
But ROH has a strong fan base. Built on the work rate, not the names. They don't like Matt Hardy, and I don't believe many will tune into their show to see him. The Headbangers I can kinda see as the Biscoes are just running all over them, which could work for "dem boys" if ROH were to get other tag teams from the past to come in and fight them. I kinda like that idea.
I second an Arik Cannon card update. Hoping either CHIKARA or ROH will give us some color updates.
And PLEASE give me a BJ Whitmer card!!!!!

ROH has a solid fanbase. That's fine if that's all you want. However they're trying to break through nationally on Sinclair stations and a great way to do that is by getting the attention of casual fans by using a name or two they know. No one seems to complain when they bring in Lance Storm or Jerry Lynn for a show or two. Hardy is that kind of deal, but with a more well known name. It's not like he's a regular and once he does his thing and elevates Cole to the next level he'll more likely than not fade away again.
ON TOPIC
Arik Cannon may be a better fit for a future Chikara expansion since he is a regular guest star for them at least once a year. Whitmer is almost a given considering the way he's being used right now. That is, if they can get it done before he's gone again. I wonder what the odds are of getting cards for some of the guys ROH brings in for tapings like Adam Page and Matt Taven. Those guys are definitely "on the radar" as wrestlers to watch for in the coming months and years.

It probably depends on the deal Cage and Tavern have. They might just be working a per appearance deal.

I really want BJ Whitmer and Brent Albright. I want to remake the Hangman 3 really bad.
But like CHIKARA there are so many people I would love to see. So many factions to reform....
