Colt Cabana Update
Colt: So everyone’s probably wondering why their old pal Colt Cabana is back in Chikara. They’re probably saying, “Colt wants that Chikara Grand Championship.” Well, I’m not going to deny that I’d like to have that belt around my waist. If you don’t want to be the best why compete? But I’m also here because those bad guys in the BDK have really been causing trouble, and my old friend Mike Quackenbush asked me to come and help turn the tide. That’s right, I don’t mind telling you BDG goons that’s why I’m here. If you don’t like it you know where you can find me.
But there are also so many other great competitors here in Chikara, I can’t wait to test myself vs. the likes of Eddie Kingston, Jigsaw, and The Colony. Maybe my old pal El Generico and I will team up and go after the new Tag Team Titles. Boom Boom is here to make an impact, so expect big things from Colt Cabana!

Claudio Castagnoli Update
Claudio: Sara Del Rey, you have thus far represented the BDK as a true Champion. Your defense against Daizee Haze was impressive, as was your defeat of the returning Larry Sweeny. But that Title is mine. In two weeks I will reclaim it. And at that point we will have to decide where your loyalty really lies.
UltraMantis Black Update
UMB: Tim Donst, you have forced my hand early. Now UltraMantis Black will have to unleash his Dark Army on the BDK earlier. In two weeks they will debut, on the night your two best compete for the Grand Championship. Pick who among you will face these two monsters, pick who among you won’t be competing come March!
Eddie Kingston Update
Kingston: I get it, I really do. I got hurt and missed the Tournament. I came back and asked for a shot at the Title and I was given an opportunity. Then, thanks to Sara, I got hurt again. Now she’s Champion, and after two months on the shelf I have to start further down the ladder. I don’t like it, but I get it. So the War king returns this week, and I’m looking for wins. But I’m not forgetting about the BDK, so my first target is you, Delirious. I’ll climb back up the rankings. And when I do it don’t matter who is Champion, that Grand Title will be mine.

Card 35: February, Week 3
Amasis vs. Daizee Haze: Daizee got in no offense, but survived two EGYPTIAN CONNIPTIONS and a Twist of Funk before Amasis pinned her with a 450 splash! Amasis gets his first win.
Eddie Kingston vs. Delirious: After taking a BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE and SLIDING D Delirious got a chair and blatantly attacked Kingston. Referee Jonathan Barber instantly called for the disqualification, but Delirious continued his attack. Colt Cabana came running to ringside and started trading punches with Delirious, eventually hitting a bionic elbow. Kingston recovered and the two hit double backfists on Delirious. Kingston returns with a bang. Delirious is hurt for 4 cards.
Tag Team Match Los Ice Creams vs. Incoherence: Two masked teams do battle here as we get our first look at Los Ice Creams. Certainly colorful attire on their part. The Ice Creams double teamed and beat down Frightmare for most of the match, scoring several near falls. Hallowicked was finally tagged in and hit the GRAVEYARD SMASH and GO 2 SLEEPY HOLLOW on El Hijo Del Ice Cream to score the pin. The Ice Creams seamed sad as they left the ring.
El Generico vs. Tim Donst: Donst came out on fire destroying Generico with suplexes and throws, but a vertical suplex powerbomb out of nowhere got Generico the comeback win!
Ophidian vs. Tursas: Although Tursas hasn’t been as dominant as he was in the past this should still be a big challenge for Ophidian. Ophidian put on a clinic. Slithering and dodging around the ring and hitting strikes and throws from all angles. Tursas couldn’t catch him. Tursas repeatedly powered out of the DEATH GRIP and then suddenly hit a DIVING CROSS BODY for the win! Ophidian’s undefeated streak comes to an end.
Tag Team Match Quack ‘N’ Jig vs. Team FIST: Two straight QUACKENDRIVER IIs on Icarus got Quack ‘N’ Jig the win.
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Larry Sweeney: Sweeney returned last week only to lose to Sara Del Rey. Can he do any better against Castagnoli, who comes off a loss to Colt Cabana? The bell rang; Claudio hit a running clothesline, and then locked on the Inverted Chikara Special for the win! Claudio looks dominant as ever!
Main Event: Non-Title Match Colt Cabana vs. Sara Del Rey [C]: Cabana beat the number one contender last week. What happens if he beats the Champion here? Cabana proves himself stronger than Sara, but still falls prey to her attack of kicks and suplexes. She quickly hits the ROYAL BUTTERFLY for the big win to stop Cabana’s momentum.

Card 36: February, Week 4
Soldier Ant vs. Johnny Gargano: Gargano was in Soldier Ant’s head the whole match, which eventually caused Soldier to refuse to break his assault on Gargano in the ropes. Gagano got the disqualification win, much to the fans’ dismay.
Mike Quackenbush vs. Icarus: Quack is 2-0 against Icarus. He dominated this match and used the QUACKENDRIVER II to make it 3-0!
Tag Team Match The Dark Army with UltraMantis Black vs. Tim Donst & Pinkie Sanchez: Mantis on crutches comes out with these two demonic faced monsters he calls the Dark Army. We’re told their names are Obariyon and Kodama. This was a wild back and forth match but truth be told the BDK dominated the newcomers. The Dark Army did well for themselves, but were a step behind. The match ended when Sanchez hit the BURNING SNICKLEFRITZ on Obariyon and then scored the 3 count! Mantis berated his new warriors as Donst and Sanchez left the ring celebrating.
Ares vs. Amasis: After Ares beat down Amasis for a bit a quick The Move I Beat Moses With got Amasis his second win!
Eddie Kingston vs. Chuck Taylor: A third Sliding D got Kingston the dominant win!
Tag Team Match Incoherence vs. The Throwbacks: Hatfield pinned Hallowicked after a GRANDSLAM DUNK! Big win for The Throwbacks.
Tursas vs. El Generico: Tursas shut down Generico’s recent momentum with a dominant win by a DIVING CROSS BODY from the second rope.
Main Event: Chikara Grand Championship Match Claudio Castagnoli vs. Sara Del Rey [C]: The fans are hyped for this next meeting between BDK members for the Grand Championship. The fans were totally behind Sara. To everyone’s surprise Claudio totally dominated the match, only to take it to the floor and put Sara into the steps. Referee Bryce Remsburg called for the bell and gave the disqualification win to the Champion. Claudio looked furious at himself. He went to attack Bryce, but thought better of it and left in disgust.

Card 37: March, Week 1
Chuck Taylor vs. Bryan Danielson: What a surprise to start tonight’s show. We had no idea that Bryan Danielson would be making an appearance here in Chikara. The Kentucky Gentleman has his work cut out for him. Taylor was not able to get the win with two straight OMEGA DRIVERS but repeatedly managed to escape the CATTLE MUTILATION! Bryan changed his attack and applied the crossface chicken wing to make Taylor tap out! But the question is; what is the American Dragon doing in Chikara?
El Generico vs. Tim Donst: Donst kept taking things to the floor, but it was Generico who was disqualified after reversing Donst’s attempt to put him in the steps. The crowd was very upset by this call.
Fire Ant vs. Pinkie Sanchez: Pinkie seems to have reversed his fortunes. A BURNING SNICKLEFRITZ got him a totally dominant win over Fire Ant!
Tag Team Match Claudio Castagnoli & Ares vs. Incoherence: Castagnoli started the match and refused to tag in Ares. He singled out Frightmare and battered him senseless. Hallowicked twice saved his partners from the RICOLA BOMB and threw Claudio to the floor, forcing the tag. Ares actually kept control of the match and set up the DOOMSDAY UPPERCUT for the BDK win! Ares started to celebrate but Claudio simple walked to the back.
Johnny Gargano vs. Soldier Ant: A brutal back and forth match that saw Soldier take every advantage of his strength. Soldier got the win with a saluting headbutt!
Amasis vs. Archibald Peck with Veronica: Amasis totally destroyed Peck, but it took 4 450 splashes and 4 EGYPTION CONNIPTIONS before Peck finally stayed down for 3!
Tursas vs. Eddie Kingston: A battle we saw throughout Year 1. Kingston is looking to keep rolling on toward another Title shot. Tursas is standing in his way. Tursas dominated the match but Kingston hit the SLIDING D to rock Tursas and then three straight BACKFISTS TO THE FUTURE to put Tursas down for the 3 count! The crowd went absolutely crazy for Kingston’s win.
Main Event: Tag Team Match Quack ‘N’ Jig vs. The Throwbacks: Handshakes all around and the match gets underway. The Throwbacks wrestled the match of their careers dominating both Jigsaw and Quack. Quack took two straight GRANDSLAM DUNKS and was pinned by Hatfield while Dunkerton cut off Jigsaw. Quack congratulated the two and left them to celebrate in the ring.

Card 38: March, Week 2
Bryan Danielson vs. Kobald with UltraMantis Balck: The debuting Kobald amazed the crowd by escaping the CATTLE MUTILATION and putting Danielson away with a TOP ROPE SEATED SENTON! Mantis celebrated wildly, and the crowd was stunned! So was Bryan!
Frightmare vs. El Hijo Del Ice Cream: Although the son of Ice Cream controlled the match with dirty tactics, he mistepped and took a KNEECOLEPSY! Frightmare easily got the pin after that.
Tag Team Match Claudio Castagnoli & Ares vs. The Osirian Portal: Again Castagnoli refused to tag and destroyed Ophidian, who could not tag out. Amasis tried to save him, but Ares repeatedly cut him off. Ophidian went down to a second RICOLA BOMB! Once again Claudio walked from the ring without showing any signs of celebration. Ares looked puzzled.
Jigsaw vs. Kodama with UltraMantis Black: Kodama used his power to dominate Jigsaw. Jigsaw never got going in the match and Kodama won with an Impaler bulldog!
Mike Quackenbush vs. Ice Cream Jr.: Ice Cream Jr. repeatedly hit the Sprinkle Bomb and the crowd grew silent in fear for Quack’s safety. A battered Quackenbush kept getting up and rallied to hit various QUACKENDRIVERS and dives repeatedly. Ice Cream Jr. tried coming back but missed a dive from the top and Quack covered him for the win.
Tag Team Match Sara Del Rey & Daizee Haze vs. The Colony: Fire Ant hit the BEACH BREAK on Daizee and got the pin as soon as the match started before any tags were made.
Eddie Kingston vs. Pinkie Sanchez: An early BURNING SNIKLEFRITZ almost got the win for Sanchez, much to everyone’s shock! Sanchez then got a few more nearfalls to his various hip attacks and even locked on the Inverted Chikara Special. Kingston rallied and hit the SLIDING D, but only got a 2 count. Kingston then unloaded on Sanchez with everything he had, but Sanchez would not stay down. Suddenly, after minutes of punishment, Sanchez again hit the BURNING SNIKLEFRITZ and got the win! What an upset, Sanchez went winless for months and has now beaten The War King!
Main Event: 2 out of 3 Falls Match Tim Donst vs. El Generico
First Fall: Generico and Donst traded evenly but again Donst took it to the floor and made sure Generico was disqualified. It’s a good thing this match has another fall to contest.
Second Fall: Donst came back strong and an STO for a fast pinfall, winning the match!

Event Center
Leonard F Chikarason: It is my job as Director of Fun to name a Number One Contender for the Grand Championship. It’s clear no one has had a winning month quite like Amasis and Pinkie Sanchez. Therefore, the two will have a Number One Contender’s Match next week, and the winner will challenge for The Championship the following week. Good luck to both of you, Gentlemen.
What’s more, I see no reason to delay crowning our first Tag Team Champions. The Campeonatos de Parejas, as they will be called, will be decided under Lucha Libre Rules in 2 out of 3 Falls Matches. The two current top teams, The Throwbacks and Claudio Castagnoli & Ares will fight for the Titles this week. To accommodate this, next week will be a special 3 hour broadcast of Chikara!

Jigsaw vs. Ice Cream Jr.: Junior hit the Sprinkle Bob 3 times, survived everything Jigsaw had, and won with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker!
Hallowicked vs. Obariyon with UltraMantis Balck: Wicked seems to get into an argument with mantis before the match. Obariyon quickly got the win with atop rope splash! Mantis shrugged his shoulders at Hallowicked after the match.
Colt Cabana vs. Icarus: Icarus controlled the early match getting 3 near falls. Cabana rallied, but was locked in the WINGS OF ICARUS and had to submit!

Campeonatos de Parejas Match, 2 out of 3 Falls Claudio Castagnoli & Ares vs. The Throwbacks

Third Fall: Claudio insists on starting the match. A bicycle kick leads to a RICOLA BOMB and Claudio pins Dasher to capture the Championship! The BDK have all the Titles!
Tim Donst vs. Soldier Ant: After being dominated by Soldier Ant, Donst hit the SDT out of nowhere for the win!
Main Event: Number One Contender’s Match Pinkie Sanchez vs. Amasis: Both men have earned this spot based on their records this year. Sanchez had things in control, but Amasis hit That Move He Beat Moses With for the win!

Card 40: March, Week 4
After crowning Tag Team Champions last week, we have a big Grand Championship match for you tonight. Amasis earned his shot! Can he wrest the Championship away from the BDK?
Green Ant vs. Delirious: Delirious returns after missing some action due to injury. A BIZZARO DRIVER and 2 straight PRAYING MANTIS BOMBS got Delirious a dominant win.
Icarus vs. Larry Sweeny: It took 6 12 LARGE ELBOW DROPS but Sweeny got a hard fought win over Icarus!
Tag Team Match Incoherence vs. Los Ice Creams: Junior was isolated most of the match and a GRAVEYARD SMASH put him down and out!
Mike Quackenbush vs. Brodie Lee: Brodie used the BIG BOOT over and over and shut Quackdown with little retaliation.
Tursas vs. Ophidian: After nearly choking Tursas out with the DEATH GRIP, Ophidian used an Egyptian Destroyer for the win! Huge win for Ophidian!
Tag Team Match The Batiri with UltraMantis Black vs. The Colony: The Colony got a dominant win when Fire pinned Kodama after a pair of tandem diving stomps!
Tim Donst vs. El Generico: These two have both been on a roll as of late. They’ve faced off several times in the past. Generico got a somewhat fast win with the BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!!
Main Event: Chikara Grand Championship Match Amasis vs. Sara Del Rey [C]: All Tag Team partners have been banned from ringside. Amasis may become the first non-BDK member to hold the Grand Championship. Amasis had an early flurry and one near fall and was then completely shut down by Sara. A second ROYAL BUTTERFLY got the win for The Champion!
Event Center Leonard F Chikarason: Folks we are wasting no time in naming a Number One Contender for Sara Del Rey’s defense at the end of April. El Generico and Brodie Lee, both on hot streaks lately, will face off to see who faces the Champion this coming week at Chikara!
