Card 62: September, Week 2

Ares vs. Shane Matthews: Ares gets a 2 count with a Blue Thunder Bomb and then throws Matthews from the ring for a countout win.

Ophidian vs. Soldier Ant: Soldier ant repeatedly escapes the Death Grip and hit the TKO 3 times to no avail. An Egyptian Destroyer got Ophidian a big win in a brutal match.

Amasis vs. Chuck Taylor: Taylor gets a quick win with a somersault suicide dive.

Bryan Danielson vs. Delirious: Danielson totally dominated and Delirious tapped out to a CATTLE MUTILATION after mounting no offense.

Tim Donst vs. Jigsaw: Donst gets a quick win with an SDT!

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Mike Quackenbush: Mike showed flurries of offense, but Clauido again dominated with his power. A second RICOLA BOMB got Claudio the win. Quack cannot seem to get a win vs. Claudio.

Non-Title Match
Grizzly Redwood vs. Sara Del Rey [C]: Sara is still hearing smatterings of cheers, despite her BDK tactics in the last few months. They almost seemed forced and this new attempt at fighting each week is the true Sara. The results were surprising as a second WOOD CHIPPER from Redwood scored a huge upset win over The Grand Champion!

Main Event: Campeonatos de Parejas Match
The Batiri with The Dark Menace vs. Incoherence [C]:

First Fall: Obaryiyon was brutalized by Hallowicked. After 2 GO 2 SLEEPY HOLLOWS and a GRAVEYARD SMASH Hallowicked took the first fall.

Second Fall: In this short fall Obariyon hit a surprise FLYING DDT on Hallowicked for the fall.

Third Fall: Another FLYING DDT on Frightmare almost gets the fall. And Argentine Enzu Knee Strike to Frightmare does get the fall and the Bairi capture the Campeonatos de Parajas. But the demons aren’t done. Kobald has arrived and they are moving in for the kill at The Dark Menace’s instructions. What’s this? The crowd has exploded! It’s UltraMantis Black! He knocks down the The Dark Menace and then enters the ring. Flying lariat to Kobald. Cosmic Disaster to Kodama! PRAYING MANTIS BOMB to Obariyon! Mantis is wrecking the place. The demons are running. Mantis has asked for a mic.

UMB: Dark Menace, I’ll deal with you in time. Ares, I want the Eye of Tyr back and I will have it. BDK, we are going to war. These men, Frightmare and Hallowicked are my Spectral Envoy. I’ll come for each and every one of you who stand in my way, but I will liberate Chikara. Your days are numbered, Ares. By year’s end this will be over.

Mike Quackenbush walks out on the ramp and applauds as the show ends.

Card 63: September, Week 3

All three Ants are in action tonight, Grizzly Redwood faces Claudio Castagnoli, and Grand Champion Sara Del Rey fights old enemy Brodie Lee. All that plus the return of Eddie Kingston, tonight on Chikara!

Daizee Haze vs. Fire Ant: Daizee dominated and won with a MIND TRIP fairly quickly! She made a point of doing the BDK salute after her win, as if someone was watching to see if she did so.

Eddie Kingston vs. Soldier Ant: Soldier salutes Kingston and offers him a hand before the match. The crowd is surprised when Kingston slaps his hand away. Soldier dominated the match and got a near fall with a TKO! Kingston fought back and hit the BACKFAST TO THE FUTURE for a near fall and then got a win with the Yakuza Kick! Kingston then asked for a microphone.

Kingston: I've been trying to get my hands on the Grand Championship and rid Chikara of the BDK for far too long. Everytime I get close the BDK put me on the shelf. Quack, I respect you to death, man. But I'm tired of doing things your way. It hasn't worked. So if I have to beat down The Colony, 3.0, You and my great friend Jigsaw, I'll do it. I need to get to be number one contender. VonSteigerwalt, stop protecting Claudio and Sara. Sara, if you're any kind of competitor give me a shot. Claudio, face me like a man. And Quack, if you don't like what I'm doing, just stay out of my way!

Tag Team Match
Team 3.0 vs. Los Ice Creams: Frequent double teams led to the success of Los Ice Creams. Matthews eventually was pinned by Jr. after a turnbuckle charge/flying dropkick combo.

Ares vs. Green Ant: Ares flatly refused UltraMantis Black's challenge and sent Tim Donst in his place.He chose, instead, to face the resilient rookie, Green Ant! Green Ant had a good showing but after a third TIGER DRIVER Ares got the win!

Backstage Sara Del Rey gets ready in the women's locker room. Daizee Haze comes out of the shower wrapped in a towel.

Daizee: Good luck out there tonight.

Sara: Thanks. What was with your post match salute, it seemed very forced.

Daizee (looking worried): I don't think things are safe anymore. Sara, I think we're in over our heads with this BDK thing. I think we're being watched. And I haven’t been winning much lately, so I wanted to be sure they know where my allegiance is.

Sara: That's just silly. As long as I have this (Sara points to the Grand Championship) I have the power around here. You know I'll protect you, I won't let anything happen to you.

Daizee (looking somewhat relieved): Thank you, Sara. I just hope things don't get out of hand.

UltraMantis Black vs. Tim Donst: Donst ruined Mantis' return by totally dominating his former master and winning with a second SDT! Incoherence came out to protect Mantis before Donst could do further damage.

Tag Team Match
Team FIST vs. Quck ‘N’ Jig: A fast paced match. Taylor pinned Quackenbush after a somersault suicide dive.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Grizzly Redwood: Due to Redwood's upset win over Sara Del Rey last week, he has been granted a shot at the Grand Championship next week. But he'll have to survive Claudio Castagnoli tonight to get there. Redwood hits a WOOD CHIPPER almost immediately for a 2 count! After a spill to the floor he hit it again for another near fall. Redwood then dominated totally until Claudio put him into the guardrail and hit a RICOLA BOMB for the win! Just one mistake is all Claudio needs to exploit to get a win. Redwood gets only his second loss.

Main Event: Non Title Match
Brodie Lee vs. Sara Del Rey [C]: Two straight BIG BOOTS and Brodie got the non-title win! Do the Roughnecks have Sara's number? Brodie has reached 30 wins.

Card 64: September, Week 4

We have a big night of action tonight. All of Chikara's best are in action as several BDK members take on Chikara faithfuls. The Campeonatos are in action and Sara Del Rey defends the Grand Championship against Grizzly Redwood!

Mike Quackenbush vs. Chuck Taylor: Taylor pinned Quack in a tag match last week. Let's see if Quack fares better tonight. Taylor used Sole Food twice to get a fast win over Quackenbush.

Colt Cabana vs. Pinkie Sanchez: After wearing Pinkie down with the Billy Goat's Curse Cabana got a dominant win with the COLT .45!

Tag Team Match
The Throwbacks vs. Los Ice Creams: The Ice Creams isolated Sugar and severely beat him down. The Young Lion's Cup Champion battled back and used a GRANDSLAM DUNK with Hatfield to put El Hijo down for the 3 count!

Tim Donst vs. Bryan Danielson: Despite his success and international experience, Danielson is still seen as an outsider in the Chikara locker room. He's made it know he won't stay past the New Year, as his time here was a favor to Mike Quackenbush. Some fans have reacted negatively to the news, though Bryan remains on the Technico side. Danielson struggled. After Bryan missed a crossbody from the top Donst capitalized and hit a second SDT for the win!

Claudio Castagnoli vs. El Generico: This is only the second time these two have met. Claudio won the first encounter. Generico survived a brutal beating but could not mount any offense. A 5th RICOLA BOMB finally put him down!

Tag Team Non-Title Match
Team 3.0 vs. The Batiri [C] w/ The Dark Menace: A good back and forth match. Kodama pinned Matthews after an Impaler bulldog!

Number One Contender's Match
Eddie Kingston vs. Brodie Lee: Dieter VonSteigerwalt seemingly granted Kingston his request by putting him in this number one contender's match against the former Champion. This match was mostly fought on the floor, but Kingston used a BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE to drop Lee. The fans seem to still be with Kingston despite his new attitude. Kingston will finally get his shot at the Title in October. But against who?

Main Event: Grand Championship Match
Grizzly Redwood vs. Sara Del Rey [C]: Redwood gave the showing of his life! 5 WOOD CHIPPERS, Several Big Axe-Handles, and finally a Little Boot after surviving 3 ROYAL BUTTERFLIES and we have a surprising new Chikara Grand Champion! Sara is shocked. Daizee has come to ringside and is trying to comfort Sara. Brodie has come out and is carrying Redwood on his shoulders. Grizzly Redwood is the new Chikara Grand Champion!

Card 65: October, Week 1

We're still reeling from the Grand Championship match last week. Fans were stunned when Redwood became Grand Champion. He's a Rudo but he had been cheered against the BDK. But the fans seem to be firmly behind Sara and Daizee as of late. The two BDK girls will face The Roughnecks tonight for a measure of revenge.

And what a future as Champion Redwood has. He will face Eddie Kingston in three weeks in his first Title opportunity. What a defense for the new Champion to have to make. Kingston's place is secure but Dieter VonSteigerwalt sure doesn't want him becoming Champion. He'll face Claudio Castagnoli tonight in what may well be the first of many obstacles on his way to his Title Match.

Scott Parker vs. Kobald: A long opening contest. Kobald mostly dominated but Parker had some flashes of offense. A third TOP ROPE SEATED SENTON got the goblin the win!

El Generico vs Delirious: Delirious quickly won with a PRAYING MANTIS BOMB! Delirious enters the elite group with 20 or more wins.

Backstage:

Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze are preparing for their match in the woman's locker room when Claudio Castagnoli walks in.

Sara: You could knock, Claudio!

Claudio: Silence! You lost the Grand Championship last week. Tonight I'll defeat Eddie Kingston, I'll make sure he doesn't make it to his Title Match. The two of you better be sure to beat those Roughnecks.

Daizee (nervously): Yes, sir!

Claudio gives the BDK salute. Daizee immediately salutes back and Claudio eyes Sara as she slowly, somewhat reluctantly salutes.

Bryan Danielson vs Ares: Ares has been confident since Donst took out UltraMantis Black two weeks ago. We haven't seen The Spectral Envoy since. 4 TIGER DRIVERS and Ares got a big win over Danielson!

Mike Quackenbush vs. Pinkie Sanchez: Sanchez got a quick win with the BURNING SNICKLEFRITZ!

Tag Team Match
The Throwbacks vs. Team FIST: The winner of this match will have 3 points and can challenge The Batiri at their convenience. Taylor pins The Young lions Cup Champion Sugar Dunkerton after an OMEGA DRIVER before any tags were made. FIST Has 3 points!

Tim Donst vs. Colt Cabana: Donst has been on fire as of late. Fans are speculating if Cabana will stay after Danielson leaves. Both are known for being Ring of Honor competitors and there's supposedly been some buzz going on over there for the coming new year. Cabana gave Donst his biggest challenge in some time, but Donst used all his big moves to beat Cabana down and pinned him after a belly to belly suplex. Donst can be heard screaming, “Get this ROH trash out of here!” Donst also reaches 20 wins.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Eddie Kingston: The Number One Contender in action against his greatest foe. If Kingston wins tonight he'll also reach 20 wins. Kingston starts strong but eats Swiss Death and Castagnoli takes over strong. After a few bicycle kicks and assorted uppercuts Kingston rallies with a BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE to earn his 20th win!

Backstage:

Sara and Daizee are walking to the Gorilla Position and they pass the defeated Claudio. All three avoid eye contact.

Main Event: Tag Team Match
Sara Del Rey & Daizee Haze vs. The Roughnecks: Redwood is going to start this match against Daizee. Redwood is the Grand Champion, but he may well be the weak link on the team. A butal back and forth match. Most of the match was Brodie and Sara trading big moves and finishers, but a BIG BOOT to Daizee Haze got The Roughnecks the win!

Card 66: October, Week 2

Jigsaw vs. El Hijo Del Ice Cream: No less than 6 COLD STONE STUNNERS got El Hijo Del Ice Cream an amazing win to start the night.

Kobald vs. UltraMantis Black: Mantis got a quick win with a PRAYING MANTIS BOMB! He then grabbed a microphone.

UMB: Ares, you are still dodging my challenge. So I have a proposition for you. In November, let's have a little “Thanksgiving Tradition” where teams of 5 will strive to survive. My team against the BDK. If we win I get the Eye of Tyr back and the BDK must disband. If you win... I'll even let you name what you get if you win. Come on, Ares, you can't pass that up.

Green Ant vs. Delirious: A PRAYING MANTIS BOMB and a BIZZARO DRIVER and Delirious gets the win.

Soldier Ant vs. Ares: After a brutal back and forth match Soldier won with a diving crossbody. Ares made no attempt to answer Mantis' challenge.

Fire Ant vs. Pinkie Sanchez: 2 BEACH BREAKS got Fire the fast win!

Shane Matthews vs. Tim Donst: Donst Dominated Matthew but took a long time to put him away. An SDT finally did it!

Brodie Lee vs. Eddie Kingston: The number one contender has a big challenge in front of him here. Kingston almost immediately hit a BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE for the win!

Main Event: Campeonatos de Parejas Match
Team FIST vs. The Batiri [C] w/ The Dark Menace: Gargano pins Obariyon after a Lawn Dart for the first fall. Kodama pinns Gargano after a corner canonball dropkick for the second fall. Obariyon pinned Taylor after a failed charge to the corner to get the third and final fall.

Update

Hello, my name is Wink Vavasseur. I have been appointed by the Chikara Board of Directors to audit the job being done by Director of Fun Dieter VonSteigerwalt. The board feels that the Bruderschaft des Kreuzes has been receiving unfair treatment under Mr. VonSteigerwalt's regime. While Mr. VonSteigerwalt still has his position, I have been given power to make changes and matches as I see fit, with the approval of the Board.

I will now announce some of my findings and decisions. Keen eyed Chikara fans will have seen a young masked lady in the crowd the last few weeks. Her name is Saturyne and she has been trying to get a job here in Chikara. I am giving her a tryout match next week against Daizee Haze. Miss Saturyne's spot on the roster does not depend on a victory, the match will simply be a showcase for her to be evaluated from.

Next, from now on The Young Lion's Cup will be defended as a regular Championship. Sugar Dunkerton will defend the Cup next week.

I have opened Chikara into a working relationship with Ring of Honor. Chikara's Jigsaw will take on Johnny Gargano on this weeks Ring of Honor show.

Now, onto the Bruderschaft. BDK members can not simply deny matches and refuse competition. UltraMantis Black wishes to face Ares in some sort of match. Ares does not have to accept the stipulations proposed by Black, unless they are mandated by The Board or the Director of Fun. But if he is put in a match against UltraMantis Black he must wrestle that match or have a forfeit loss on his record.

It is therefore my decision, in the interest of competition, to make the following match. UltraMantis Black will face Delirious next week. If UltraMantis Black wins his proposed match for November will be made and both men will assemble a team to fight in that match. If Delirious wins, the match is off. However, Black is free to make additional challenges to the BDK.

Veronica: Don't ask. Just win this match, Archie.

Well, heck.

It's been over a year since I posted here. I did finish the years worth of matches for Chikara and I just finished my first year of ROH and started Year 2. I was about to post everything to get caught up and start playing Chikara and ROH side by side again.

But due to a computer eror I seem to have lost my Chikara Year 2 record. I have the wins and losses, but not the actual cards.

So, I'll sumerize.

The Batiri remain Tag Champs, so far successfully defending 3 times.

Archibald Peck beat Sugar Dunkerton for the Young Lion's Cup, but then lost it to Saturyne.

The Gekedo debuted, but so far have been a nusance, not a threat. They are competeing as if nothing is odd about their characters.

Grizzly Redwood lost the Grand Champion to Eddie Kingston, who then lost it to Tim Donst. Donst has been on a tear in the last few months of the year.

UltraMantis challenged the BDK to a 5 on 5 Elimination match. If Chikara won than the BDK would disband. Donst went on a tear in the match and won it for the BDK. Later, after becoming Champion, Donst bragged at his own unbetablenes. At the Season Finale Mantis made a bet that if Donst lost the Grand Championship to Brodie Lee the BDK must disband. Again, Donst came out on top.
