Jaxon Breeze: I'm sorry folks, I didn't realize it until Gumbo Malone made the announcement. The Republican Guard faced the wrong team tonight. You two were supposed to have wrestled the returning B+ Squad tonight, not the B Squad. Gumbo, that was a typo on your call sheet. I apologize.
Ala Hussein: So what are you saying, that our win doesn't count? That's a bunch of (censored)!
Sheik Uday Muhammad: That's exactly the kind of (censored) that's forced us to declare jihad against the HEW! We'll kill you!
Jaxon Breeze: Now just hold on a minute. The referee has already made the three-count before I could stop the match, so I have no choice but to let the decision stand. Republican Guard, you have a victory over the B Squad tonight. The only fair thing I can do to fix this screw-up is to schedule you next week against the team you were supposed to face this week. B Squad, I'll find some way to make this up to you.

* The camera cuts backstage to a conversation between the B Squad and Tina Ambrose. They're asking her about who she plans to bring into the HEW to deal with Brock Guffman's newest acquisitions, the Assassins. Tina, not wanting to "let the cat out of the bag", tells them that while he's serving his suspension, the "Barnestormer" David Barnes is scouting a team as they speak. The hood pops open, then the driver's door opens and the HEW Heavyweight champion, "The Ice Cream Man" Tony B. steps out, disgusted at his car for breaking down. He props open the hood of his car and starts looking around at the engine when Matt Stryker walks out.
Matt: Did your car break down on you?
Tony B.: Just now. I think it's the alternator.
Matt: If you want, I can give you a ride home after the show.
Tony B.: Thanks, Matt. But don't think that's going to make me go easier on you in your re-match tonight.
Matt: I never gave it a thought. Besides, you know that title's coming back around my waist today, anyway.
Tony B.: Not if I have anything to do about it. (The two laugh at their "good-natured banter" and walk into the building.

HEARTLAND ELITE WRESTLING RUSH TELEVISION TAPING HEW Arena; Evandale, OH Tuesday July 1, 2008
ANNOUNCERS: Chris "The Brain" Kurtis & Les Thatcher (I normally have fight cards results done about 1 ½ to 2 months in advance in order to give me enough time to write up the between match segments, but the SD card that the files were saved on became corrupted, and I had to re-make the files. I don't remember everything that happened, so I'll just give you the results until I get caught back up.) - The GP Code defeated the Republican Guard when "Déjà Vu" Richard Phillips pinned Ala Hussein with the BEST DAMN SIDEWALK SLAM IN THE BUSINESS.

* "The Brain" & Les Thatcher promote this Friday's cyber pay-per-view, Independent's Day, broadcasting from the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Coliseum in Dayton, Ohio, and then after that will be next Tuesday's edition of Rush. The only problem with promoting next Tuesday's show is that neither one of them has a show format to hype any matches. The camera cuts to HEW commissioner Jaxon Breeze's office, and when Les Thatcher what's going on with next week's show, Jaxon mentioned that the next cyber pay-per-view after Independent's Day will be on August 29, when the HEW will present the Back to School Brawl, which will be held at the alma mater of the "Barnestormer" David Barnes, the Butler High School Student Activity Center. With that in mind, Jaxon is going to present a series of matches that will determine who will appear on the August 29 card.
* The camera cuts backstage to the locker room of the Tina Lover's Club.
Matt Stryker: Can you guys believe it? We're all going to have to win a match to determine whether or not we'll win a spot on the August pay-per-view.
Tina Ambrose: When David comes back from suspension, you know he's going to want to latch a spot for himself. I mean, that's his home town we're going to. We've never did a show in Vandalia before.
Jesse Hyde: You think he had something to do with bringing the HEW to his home town?
Tina Ambrose: I don't think he's got that kind of stroke with Jaxon, especially since Jaxon suspended him.
Pompano Joe: Well, Jaxon did owe David a favor for throwing the book at him a month ago and let Steve Bradley get away with murder on the same day.
Matt Stryker: Yeah, but I've known David for a long time, and he's never asked for any special favors ever since he began wrestling. Every thing he's ever gotten, he's earned it. I'll bet you anything that when he comes back in a few weeks that he's going to want to earn his spot on the show, just like everybody else.
- Scarlett Rose pinned Bobbi Jo Jablonski with the X-FACTOR.

(The library where I currently have internet access will be closed on Friday July 4 because of the holiday, so I've decided to post the results of the July 4 cyber-PPV today. Enjoy!--DPB) HEARTLAND ELITE WRESTLING INDEPENDENT‘S DAY CYBER PAY-PER-VIEW Montgomery County Fairgrounds Coliseum; Dayton, OH Friday July 4, 2008
ANNOUNCERS: Chris "The Brain" Kurtis & Les Thatcher Chris Kurtis: It's Friday July the 4th. It's Independence Day, and fireworks are going off not only outside, but right here in the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Coliseum. Welcome, everybody, to our cyber pay-per-view, Independent's Day. I'm "The Brain" Chris Kurtis alongside my broadcast partner, former Heartland Wrestling Association owner and current EPWT trainer Les Thatcher. Les, we've got an incredible card lined up for tonight. Les Thatcher: That's right Chris. First, we've got a re-match from our last cyber pay-per-view, Summertime Bruise, as Ric Byrne hopes to erase the blemish on his record given to him by Hoss as they go at it once again. Chris Kurtis: And speaking of re-matches, Hellena Heavenly was soundly defeated by HEW Ladies champion Portia Perez this Tuesday, enabling Portia to hold onto the HEW Ladies title, that she's challenged her again to a title match tonight. Will this be the night that Hellena captures her 4th title, Les? Les Thatcher: If Portia doesn't get herself too distracted with her relationship with the "Buffalo Bad Boy" Brian Jennings, she has a more than fair chance of walking out of the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Coliseum with the ladies belt still strapped around her waist. Chris Kurtis: The 5 Most Wanted are looking to once again hold tag team gold as they face the current champions, the A Squad. Les Thatcher: And in our main event, Matt Stryker defends the HEW Heavyweight belt against the "Daredevil of Extreme" Tack. Let's get you to ringside for our opening contest. - Terak the Great defeated "High IQ" Quentin Lee by disqualification when Quentin hit Terak with his dictionary.
The camera cuts backstage to a conversation between Dean Baldwin and "Rockin'" Dean Roll. It's nothing more than trash talking between the two rivals.
- "New Horror" Sammi Callihan pinned Jon Moxley after 3 JOBBER CLOBBERs.
* An assault occurs backstage when Quentin Lee was attacked from behind by the "Daredevil of Extreme" Tack. Quentin is injured for 1 card due to the attack.
- Lady Draven defeated Nattie Neidhart by disqualification when Nattie shoved the referee during a deathjump spot.
* A car pulls into the back parking lot. When the door opens, HEW Heavyweight champion Matt Stryker gets out and walks into the building to prepare for his main event match with Tack.
- Kayla Sparks pinned Lexie Fyfe with THE SPARK PLUG. After the match, Heather Owens-Gonzales made a surprise appearance, hell-bent on getting revenge on Lexie for helping Heather Divine put her out of action for 5 cards by helping Kayla perform double deathjumps on Lexie, injuring her 6 cards.
* "The Brain" & Les Thatcher attempt to promote next Tuesday's episode of Rush, but without any signed matches to announce, they can only speculate as to what will happen this Tuesday.
- "Rockin’" Dean Roll pinned Dean Baldwin with the HIT PARADE.
* Amanda "Fire" Webster: I'm standing outside the locker room of Portia Perez, who's preparing to defend the HEW Ladies title against Hellena Heavenly. Let's see if we can get a word with her about the match. (Amanda knocks on the door. Crying can be heard through the door.) Portia? Is everything OK, honey? Portia? Portia, what's wrong? Do you want me to get Brian for you? (Amanda turns away from the door) Can somebody please find Brian Jennings? I think there might be something wrong with Portia.
- Hoss pinned Ric Byrne with the HOSSENSLAMMER.
* The camera cuts backstage to Portia Perez's locker room, where Amanda "Fire" Webster is still standing outside the door as the "Buffalo Bad Boy" Brian Jennings walks up.
Brian Jennings: Amanda, what's wrong?
Amanda "Fire" Webster: I don't know. I came here a little bit ago to do an interview with Portia, but I can hear crying in there. She won't come out and talk to me. Maybe she'll talk to you.
Brian Jennings: I can try. (Brian knocks on the door.) Portia? It's me, baby. Open the door and let me in. (The door opens and Brian walks in.)
* The cameras do a panoramic view of the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Coliseum as "The Brain" and Les Thatcher plug the sponsor for the Independent's Day cyber pay-per-view, Roadhouse Karaoke & DJ Products of Beavercreek, selling you the best in karaoke audio, video, lighting, and musical accesories, including brands such as: JBL, Sound Craft, American DJ, and Chartbuster. Visit them for all of your karaoke needs.
* The camera cuts backstage one more time to outside Portia's dressing room. Amanda "Fire" Webster is still standing outside the door. The door opens and Brian walks out.
Brian Jennings: I think she's going to be OK for her match tonight. It's probably just a case of "butterflies".
Amanda "Fire" Webster: What'd she say?
Brian Jennings: She said something about "something not feeling right about her upcoming match tonight," but she couldn't put her finger on just exactly what it was that was making her feel that way. Let's just leave her alone for right now and let her concentrate on getting ready for her match.
Amanda "Fire" Webster: You're probably right. Thanks, anyways, Brian.
- The Irish Airborne defeated the A+ Squad when Jake Crist pinned T.J. Dalton with the IRISH AIR RAID.
* A car pulls into the back parking lot. When the door opens, the "Daredevil of Extreme" Tack gets out and walks into the building to prepare for his main event match with Matt Stryker.
- The Assassins defeated the Hippies in a no disqualification match to get revenge for their disqualification loss last Tuesday on RUSH when Assassin #2 pinned Jesse Hyde with the A-BOMB.
- HEW LADIES TITLE MATCH: Hellena Heavenly captured her 4th HEW Ladies title when she pinned Portia Perez with the HEAVEN SENT. Portia seemed to be too distracted by something to put on a good show for the fans.
- HEW TAG TEAM TITLE RE-MATCH: The 5 Most Wanted defeated the A Squad by disqualification to hold onto the HEW Tag Team belts following a brawl outside the ring between "Sexy" Sean Casey & Chet "The Jet" Jablonski.
* Highlights of Portia Perez are aired.
- Rory Fox defeated Race Steele by disqualification when Race repeatedly whipped Rory into the steel ring post outside the ring.
- MAIN EVENT--HEW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
[/u]: The "Daredevil of Extreme" Tack defeated Matt Stryker by disqualification when Matt shoved the referee during a deathjump spot, but since titles in HEW can only change hands by pinfall or submission, Matt is still the HEW Heavyweight champion.[/b] * After the last match and before the program signed off, Brian Jennings was attempting to console Portia after her loss, suggesting that they take a drive, and maybe go out to dinner somewhere. Portia agrees and sends him to start up the car while she "powdered her nose." After he left the room, she pulls a box out of her bag, opens it and pulls out a small plastic device. She throws the box in the trash and walks into the bathroom. The camera zooms in on the box in the trash. It’s an early pregnancy test kit. The camera fades to black as the program signs off. [/li][/ul]
The next Rush television taping will be on Tuesday July 8, when we will present a new format for determining who will appear at our Back To School Brawl cyber pay-per-view, scheduled for Friday August 29 at the Student Activity Center of the alma mater of the "Barnestormer" David Barnes, Butler High School. We'll see you then, fans.

HEARTLAND ELITE WRESTLING RUSH TELEVISION TAPING HEW Arena; Evandale, OH Tuesday July 8, 2008
ANNOUNCERS: Chris "The Brain" Kurtis & Les Thatcher [/i]. At this pay-per-view, we only have slots for 12 matches, four matches for the singles division, four matches for the tag team division, and four matches for the ladies division; however, we're not going to fill them up in the usual manner. For this reason, we did not come up with a line-up of matches for tonight's card, per se. That's because we're starting a campaign we're calling "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland." For the next four weeks, I'm going to pull a name out of this hopper and announce the name of the wrestler or tag team for the next match. When that wrestler or team enters the ring, he, she or they will draw the name of his, her, or their opponent. If the person or team whose name is drawn is either on the disabled list or is under suspension, the name will be re-drawn. And don't worry about wondering who's on the disabled list or who's under suspension, because I'll have a clipboard with the list with me. The reason we're calling this "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland" is that the opponent who's name is drawn could be a friend or it could be a hated rival. Now, these two wrestlers or teams will compete in a match until there's a winner. Then starting August 5, we'll bring all of the winners from week one back to wrestle one match until there is one winner in all three divisions. On August 12, the winners from week 2 will wrestle until there's one winner in all three divisions, August 19 we'll do the same thing for the week 3 winners, and then Tuesday August 26 , the winners from week 4 will have one final match in their respective divisions until there's a winner. Now, here's the payoff. The winners of each of those final four matches in all three divisions get to choose their opponent for the Back to School Brawl. They can choose to challenge the current champion in their division, which should be noted is on a first come-first served basis, or they could choose to challenge their most hated rival, or they could choose to challenge someone completely different. It's totally up to those four winners. One major rule I must point out is that the winner of one match cannot challenge the winner of another match. So with that in mind, let's get started with our first "Heaven & Hell" match of the evening. (Jaxon spins the hopper, opens the door, pulls out a slip of paper and unfolds it.) Our first "Heaven & Hell" participant is...Race Steele. (Race Steele enters the ring and pulls a name out of the hopper.) Race Steele: Scottie Murray. (Scottie enters the ring, and the referee signals for the bell to start.) [li] Race Steele defeated Scottie Murray by disqualification when Scottie shoved the referee during a deathjump spot.* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name. He reads it and checks the clipboard. Jaxon Breeze: Hm, he's on the disabled list, so he's out. (He reaches into the hopper again and pulls out another name) Here we go...The "Buffalo Bad Boy" Brian Jennings (Brian enters the ring and reaches into the hopper) Brian Jennings: I hope it's Rory Fox. (He pulls the name out of the hopper) Damn! It's not Fox. It's Tack! [/li][li] The "Daredevil of Extreme" Tack pinned the "Buffalo Bad Boy" Brian Jennings after Brian missed a deathjump cross body block attempt.* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name. Jaxon Breeze: Our next contest will be a ladies division match. Kayla Sparks! (Kayla enters the ring and pulls a name out of the hopper) Kayla Sparks: It's Bobbi Jo Jablonski. [/li][li] The match between Kayla Sparks and Bobbi Jo Jablonski ended in a double disqualification after the referee was knocked down during a deathjump attempt by Bobbi Jo.* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name. Jaxon Breeze: The next contest will be a tag team contest. The first tag team will be...The Island Boys. (The Island Boys enter the ring. Kimo pulls out a name and gives it to O.G. Ekmo) O.G. Ekmo: The Assassins. [/li][li] The Assassins defeated the Island Boys by disqualification when Kimo attacked Assassin #2 while trying to save Ekmo after #2 executed the SNIPER.* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name. Jaxon Breeze: The next contest is a ladies division match. Heather Divine! (Heather Divine enters the ring and pulls out a name) Heather Divine: Nattie Neidhart. [/li][li] Nattie Neidhart made Heather Divine tap out to the SHARPSHOOTER.* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name. Jaxon Breeze: Our final "Heaven & Hell" contest for this week is a tag team match. May I please have the A+ Squad! (T.J. Dalton and J.T. Stahr enter the ring with Brock Guffman. Brock pulls a name out of the hopper.) Brock Guffman: Those damn Hippies! [/li][li] The A+ Squad defeated the Hippies when T.J. Dalton pinned Pompano Joe with the SWINGING NECKBREAKER.[/li][li] MAIN EVENT--HEW LADIES TITLE MATCH: Hellena Heavenly retained the HEW Ladies title by forfeit (no contest) when Portia Perez never got into the ring.[/li][/ul]
The next RUSH television taping will be on Tuesday July 15. What's the deal with Portia Perez? Why wouldn't she get into the ring with Hellena Heavenly and try to re-capture the HEW Ladies title? Tune in next week and see if these questions will be answered.

Brian Jennings: I'm sorry for the interruption, Mr. Breeze, but Portia's not going to get in the ring anytime soon. (Jaxon shakes Brian's hand.) Jaxon Breeze: Well, congratulations, Mr. Jennings. This certainly explains a lot about her behavior over the last two shows. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'll be sure to add her name to the inactive list. Sparx defeated Neveah by disqualification following a brawl outside the ring,* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name. Jaxon Breeze: The next contest is our last tag team match of the evening. It seems we have another team making a second bid for the pay-per-view slot. They just lost to the Hippies earlier this evening, the Republican Guard. (Ala Hussein and Sheik Uday Muhammad enter the ring and pull a name out of the hopper) Ala Hussein: The Island Boys. Sheik Uday Muhammad: We make martyrs of those Samoan idiots! Allah U Akbar! [/li][li] The Republican Guard defeated the Island Boys when Ala Hussein made O.G. Ekmo tap out to the CAMEL CLUTCH.* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name. Jaxon Breeze: Ric Byrne! (Ric Byrne enters the ring and pulls a name out of the hopper) Ric Byrne: Chad Collyer. (Hoss enters the ring and pulls a name out of the hopper) Hoss: I don't believe this. Hey, Chad, you'd better come back out here. I just drew your name, as well. [/li][li] Hoss pinned Chad Collyer with a shoulder backbreaker.[/li][/ul]
Week 3 of the "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland" series on HEW RUSH will take place on Tuesday July 22. Come back and see who takes on who for a chance to earn a spot on the August 29 cyber pay-per-view, Back to School Brawl.

Race Steele: Well, buddy, it seems as though congratulations are in order.
Brian Jennings: Thank you.
Chris Carnage: But we still have a little bone to pick with you. Three weeks ago, we had a meeting and you didn't show up.
Brian Jennings: Sorry, guys. Portia and I took a little "walk in the woods" that days, so to speak. We lost track of time. Come to think of it, I think that's when she became pregnant. But if you guys have already chosen who I thought you wanted to choose as our new manager, I would've voted "yes" even if I'd been there.
"Hooks": Well, I'm glad to hear that, because we've got our work cut out for us if you want to get your hands on Rory Fox once and for all.
"The Brain": Oh my God! "Hooks" is the new manager for the 4 MUSKETEERS! That's what he meant when he said that "other obligations" when he quit as my broadcast partner a few weeks ago.
Les Thatcher: Chris, I can't think of any better person to lead the MUSKETEERS than Brad Nichols, especially Brian Jennings. Those two have been best friends for a long time. It looks like Jaxon Breeze is ready to pull another name out of the hopper, so let's get down to ringside.
* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name.
Jaxon Breeze: Next up is...Dean Baldwin. (Dean Baldwin enters the ring and pulls a name out of the hopper.)
Dean Baldwin: At least it's not Dean Roll or his phony "Shark Boy" pal. Jon Moxley!
- Jon Moxley made Dean Baldwin submit to a full nelson.
* "The Brain" & Les Thatcher hype the August 29 cyber pay-per-view, but since Nattie Neidhart is the only person who has secured a spot on the card, they're unable to announce any matches until the end of the "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland" series.
* Mike Ripple is standing at ringside with Jon Moxley.
Mike Ripple: Jon Moxley, you've just won your first round qualifying match in the "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland" series. If you manage to win your second round match in four weeks, who do you have in mind to challenge at the Back to School Brawl cyber pay-per-view on August 29?
Jon Moxley: It's none of your damned business who I decide to challenge, Mr. Lay's Potato Chips. If I decide to challenge Matt Stryker for the HEW Heavyweight title, then I will. If I decide to challenge that idiot Sammi Callihan, then I will. But I will be the one to decide and you'll know what my decision is when I want you to know, not when you want to poke your pathetic little nose in and try to find out. Now get out of my sight. (Jon shoves Mike's face and walks away.)
Mike Ripple: To hell with this [censored]! I don't get paid to be man-handled by some [censored] who decides to take a poke at me just for asking a simple question. I quit! (Mike Ripple slams his microphone on the ground and walks out of the building in a huff.)
Chris Kurtis: I'm sorry to see Mike go, especially since it doubles the work load for Amanda "Fire" Webster. Let's take you back to the ring, where Jaxon Breeze is ready to draw another name out of the hopper for our next contest.
* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name.
Jaxon Breeze: Our next participant is...Kayla Sparks! Come on down for your second attempt in three weeks. (Kayla Sparks enters the ring and pulls a name out of the hopper)
Kayla Sparks: It's Heather Divine, Bob Barker. (Jaxon gives a sarcastic laugh at Kayla's attempt at a humerous reference.) Well, who's the one going "Come On Down" like he thinks he's hosting The Price Is Right?
Jaxon Breeze: Just have a good match, and good luck to you.
- Heather Divine defeated Kayla Sparks by disqualification when Kayla shoved the referee during a deathjump spot.
* A highlight reel of the previous two weeks' episodes of Rush featuring the "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland" series is aired. Afterward, the cameras do a panoramic view of the HEW Arena as "The Brain" & Les Thatcher plug this week's sponsors.
* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name.
Jaxon Breeze: Our next contest features...Lady Draven! (Lady Draven enters a ring and pulls a name out of the hopper.)
Lady Draven: Heather Owens-Gonzales.
- Lady Draven defeated Heather Owens-Gonzales by disqualification when Heather repeatedly whipped Lady Draven into the steel ring post outside the ring.
* A promo video is aired featuring HEW merchandise, including replica "Barnestormer" "pilot's wings" (just like the ones he gives to a child at ringside during his ring entrance) and plastic balloon fencing swords with the "4 MUSKETEERS" logo.
* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name.
Jaxon Breeze: Well, fans, all we have left for this week are two tag team matches, so let's see who our first team will be...The Island Boys! These two missed out on a chance for a spot on the pay-per-view two weeks ago when they lost to the Assassins by disqualification, so will today be a better day for them? (The Island Boys enter the ring. O.G. Ekmo pulls a name out of the hopper and gives it to Kimo)
Kimo: Too bad this isn't a tag team title match, because we just drew the 5 Most Wanted!
- The Island Boys defeated the 5 Most Wanted when O.G. Ekmo pinned "Sexy" Sean Casey with a Vader Bomb.
* Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name.
Jaxon Breeze: And this'll be our final match of the evening. The next team will be...It's the B Squad! (Nigel McGuinness, the Human Time Bomb, and Tina Ambrose enter the ring. Tina pulls a name out of the hopper and gives it to HTB.)
Human Time Bomb: We drew Smart Money!
- The B Squad defeated Smart Money when Nigel McGuinness pinned E.Z. Money with the TOWER OF LONDON.
Well, fans, next week is it, the last week of first round qualifying matches for one of the 12 spots on the Back to School Brawl cyber pay-per-view on Friday August 29 at the Butler High School Student Activity Center. Will the "Barnestormer" David Barnes get a qualifying spot and earn himself a match in his own hometown? Come back next week and find out.

HEARTLAND ELITE WRESTLING RUSH TELEVISION TAPING HEW Arena; Evandale, OH Tuesday July 29, 2008
ANNOUNCERS: Chris "The Brain" Kurtis & Les Thatcher [/I] should automatically go to the "Barnestormer" David Barnes since we will be broadcasting the show from his hometown and the Student Activity Center of his alma mater, Butler High School, and at first I thought that it that since I owed him something for throwing the book at him over a month ago unfairly that it was a wonderful idea; however when I approached David with the proposal, he declined, saying that he has never asked for a special favor since he began wrestling with us and he never will, so he's going to take his chances just like everybody else. You've got to admire that. So, since he's back from his suspension, let's see if we can draw his name and get him out here and qualify to earn a spot on the pay-per-view. (Jaxon Breeze reaches into the hopper and pulls out a name) Sorry fans, not this time. It's a tag team match. The first participant will be...The B Squad! (Derrick Neikirk, Pepper Parks and Tina Ambrose enter the ring. Derrick pulls a name out of the hopper.) Derrick Neikirk: Hey, Jaxon, can we make this a title match? No, didn't think so. But we did draw the 5 Most Wanted. [li] The 5 Most Wanted defeated the B+ Squad when "Sexy Sean Casey made Pepper Parks submit to a sleeper hold.* Highlights of the B+ Squad/5 Most Wanted match are shown. * Jaxon Breeze pulls a name out of the hopper. Jaxon Breeze: This is a Ladies Division contest scheduled for one fall. The first participant is...MsChif. (MsChif enters the ring and pulls a name out of the hopper. MsChif: This [censored] must be the luckiest [censored] in HEW to get a third pathetic try. Kayla Sparks! [/li][li] Kayla Sparks pinned MsChif with a ddt.* Jaxon Breeze pulls a name out of the hopper. Jaxon Breeze: This singles contest is scheduled for one fall. Our next participant is...Dick Rick. (Dick Rick and Patrick Black enter the name. Dick pulls a name out of the hopper.) Dick Rick: He'd better "make time" for me today, because I drew Gotti. [/li][li] Dick Rick defeated Gotti by disqualification when Gotti repeatedly rammed Dick's head into the security rail.* A car arrives in the back parking lot. When the door opens, HEW Heavyweight champion Matt Stryker steps out and walks in the building. * Jaxon Breeze pulls a name out of the hopper. Jaxon Breeze: Here we go again. The next tag team contest features...The B+ Squad. (Derrick, Pepper, and Tina enter the ring. Pepper pulls a name out of the hopper.) Pepper Parks: The Mavericks. [/li][li] The B+ Squad defeated the Mavericks when Pepper Parks pinned "Astonishing" Aaron Williams with the PEPPER SHAKER.* A video promo is shown for HEW Merchandise. When the promo is finished, "The Brain" and Les Thatcher hype next week's show, which will feature two "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland" round 2 matches. Race Steel does battle with the "Daredevil of Extreme" Tack, and the Assassins will take on fellow Guffman Incorporated members the A+ Squad, both for spots on the August 29 cyber pay-per-view, Back to School Brawl, coming from the Student Activity Center of Butler High School in Vandalia, Ohio. * Jaxon Breeze pulls a name out of the hopper. Jaxon Breeze: Our final ladies match of the evening will feature...Bobbi Jo Jablonski. (Bobbi Jo enters the ring with Brock Guffman, pulls a name out of the hopper, and hands it to Brock.) Brock Guffman: Oh, it's just a nobody. Scarlett Rose. [/li][li] Bobbi Jo Jablonski pinned Scarlett Rose with the CATTLE MUTILATION.* Jaxon Breeze pulls a name out of the hopper. Jaxon Breeze: This is our final match of the first qualifying round of the "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland" series. Our final participant is..."High IQ" Quentin Lee. (Quentin enters the ring and pulls a name out of the hopper.) Quentin Lee: Chris Carnage. [/li][li] "High" IQ Quentin Lee defeated Chris Carnage by disqualification when Chris repeatedly slammed Quentin's head into the security rail.[/li][/ul]
Next week on HEW RUSH (Tuesday August 5) will be the first week's round 2 qualifying matches for the Back to School Brawl cyber pay-per-view, emanating from the Butler High School Student Activity Center in Vandalia, Ohio on Friday August 29. Race Steele takes on the "Daredevil of Extreme" Tack. Nattie Neidhart has already secured her spot on the pay-per-view card, due to the first week's double disqualification of Kayla Sparks and Bobbi Jo Jablonski. And the Assassins will try to extend their current winning streak as they take on the A+ Squad. Who will Brock Guffman stand beside for this match, as both teams are members of Guffman Incorporated? We'll see you next week, fans.

HEARTLAND ELITE WRESTLING RUSH TELEVISION TAPING HEW Arena; Evandale, OH Tuesday August 5, 2008
ANNOUNCERS: Chris "The Brain" Kurtis & Les Thatcher - The "Prodigy" Eric Fallen pinned the Dark Angel with a leg drop on Dark Angel's arm.
* A video montage of the HEW Tag Team champions, the 5 Most Wanted, is aired.
- Neveah defeated the returning Tai "Killer" Weed by disqualification when Tai repeatedly slammed Neveah's head into the security rail.
* Amanda "Fire" Webster: I'm here backstage outside the dressing room of Guffman Incorporated, and I'm standing here with the "CEO" of Guffman Incorporated, Brock Guffman. Brock, the next match is a "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland" round 2 qualifying match between two of your teams, the Assassins and the A+ Squad, with the winner going on to the August 29 Back to School Brawl cyber pay-per-view at the Butler High School Student Activity Center in Vandalia, Ohio. Everybody's wanting to know...who's corner are you going to be standing in during this match, the Assassins or the A+ Squad?
Brock Guffman: My dear Amanda, it doesn't matter whose corner I'll stand in. Both the Assassins and the A+ Squad are quite capable of winning the match and taking one step closer to gaining the HEW Tag Team titles from whomever's the champions on the 29th, whether it's the 5 Most Wanted or one of the other jobber teams that are fortunate enough to be gainfully employed by the Heartland Elite Wrestling promotion.
Amanda "Fire" Webster: So it's your intention that whomever wins the match tonight, you're going to challenge for the HEW Tag Team titles at the cyber pay-per-view?
Brock Guffman: That's right, "sweet cheeks". Those belts are Guffman Incorporated property, and we're coming to reclaim what's rightfully ours. Now if you'll excuse me...(Brock walks into the Guffman Incorporated dressing room and closes the door.)
Amanda "Fire" Webster: There you have it. "Brain", Les, let's send it back to you guys.
- HEAVEN & HELL IN THE HEARTLAND - ROUND 2: Both the Assassins and the A+ Squad were disqualified following a brawl outside the ring. Brock Guffman appeared at ringside and attempted to provide distractions for both teams, showing that he was showing no favoritism in the match.
- HEW LADIES TITLE MATCH: Heather Owens-Gonzales defeated Hellena Heavenly by disqualification when Hellena shoved the referee during a deathjump spot. Unfortunately for Heather, since titles in HEW only change hands by pinfall or submission, Hellena is still the HEW Ladies champion.
- HEAVEN & HELL IN THE HEARTLAND - ROUND 2: The "Daredevil of Extreme" Tack forced Race Steele to submit to an arm bar and arm scissors to secure a spot on the Back to School Brawl cyber pay-per-view on Friday August 29 at the Butler High School Student Activity Center in Vandalia, OH.
* "The Brain" & Les Thatcher hype the August 29 cyber pay-per-view. Nattie Neidhart and the "Daredevil of Extreme" Tack have both secured one of the 12 spots on the card, but both are keeping it "close to the vest" as to who they'll challenge on the card, as they're probably waiting to see who else makes it to the show.
- HEW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Island Boys defeated the 5 Most Wanted to capture the HEW Tag Team titles when O.G. Ekmo pinned Cody Hawk with the SAMOAN DEMOLISHER.
* Amanda "Fire" Webster: I'm here backstage, and right now, I'd like to bring in the HEW Heavyweight champion, Matt Stryker. (Matt Stryker and Tina Ambrose walk onto the interview set) Matt, in a few minutes, you're about to defend the HEW Heavyweight title against the man you took the title from, Rory Fox. How confident are you going into this match that you're going to walk out with the gold still around your waist.
Matt Stryker: Amanda, I'm fairly confident that I'm going to walk in the champion just as I'm fairly confident I'll be walking out of the match still the HEW Heavyweight champion, and do you know why that is?
Amanda "Fire" Webster: Tell us.
Matt Stryker: It's because I've got the support not only from Ms. Ambrose here and the rest of the Tina Lover's Club, but I've got the full support of all these great HEW fans not only here at ringside here at the HEW Arena but those fans watching on the ProBoards network. I'm dedicating this match to all of those fans, and if I may, I'd like to send a shout out to our brave men and women fighting over in Iraq. I pray every night that you'll be coming home soon, but until that day, keep the faith over there. Now, if you'll excuse me, I hear my entrance theme, and that means it's time for my match.
Amanda "Fire" Webster: "Brain" and Les, let's get you back to ringside for our main event.
- MAIN EVENT--HEW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Rory Fox captured his 3rd HEW Heavyweight title when he pinned Matt Stryker with the TRL SLAM.
* After the match, "The Brain" and Les Thatcher promote next week's episode of HEW Rush. Three more "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland" second round matches will take place on Tuesday August 12. HEW Ladies champion Hellena Heavenly takes on her hated rival A.J. Sparks. The Hippies face the Republican Guard, and the rivalry between Hoss and Ric Byrne gets fired up once more as they face each other for the 3rd time in 3 months.
* A fight breaks out backstage between Hoss and Ric Byrne, which spills out into the crowd. The entire locker room as well as the HEW referees and officials pull the two apart before any serious damage could be done before next week's show as the camera fades to black and HEW Rush signs off.
In addition to the three "H&H" matches next week on HEW Rush, the HEW Heavyweight and Tag Team belts will be defended by their new owners in respective re-matches against the former respective champions, Matt Stryker and the 5 Most Wanted. And just added before the show went off the air, HEW commissioner Jaxon Breeze has also ordered that due to the need to fill the tag team spot on the August 29 cyber pay-per-view, the Assassins and the A+ Squad face each other one more time to determine who will earn that spot on the card, this time in a "winner takes all" Texas Death Match, so be sure to join us for this action-packed card.

HEARTLAND ELITE WRESTLING RUSH TELEVISION TAPING HEW Arena; Evandale, OH Tuesday August 12, 2008
ANNOUNCERS: Chris "The Brain" Kurtis & Les Thatcher - Johnny Suede (the newest member of Guffman Incorporated, replacing "Who's Your Daddy" Steve Bradley) pinned "Stone Cold" Shark Boy with the PERSUEDER.
* A car pulls into the back parking lot. When the door opens, 3-time HEW Heavyweight champion Rory Fox steps out and walks into the building to get ready for his main event match.
- HEAVEN & HELL IN THE HEARTLAND - ROUND 2 TEXAS DEATH MATCH: The Assassins defeated the A+ Squad when Assassin #2 pinned T.J. Dalton with the SNIPER.
- HEAVEN & HELL IN THE HEARTLAND - ROUND 2: The Republican Guard defeated the Hippies when Sheik Uday Muhammad made Pompano Joe submit to the CAMEL CLUTCH.
- HEAVEN & HELL IN THE HEARTLAND - ROUND 2: HEW Ladies champion Hellena Heavenly made A.J. Sparx submit to a spinning toe hold.
- HEAVEN & HELL IN THE HEARTLAND - ROUND 2: Hoss defeated Ric Byrne by disqualification when Ric shoved the referee during a deathjump spot.
* The "Barnestormer" David Barnes gets in the ring (amidst a gigantic pop from the crowd) and grabs the mike from ring announcer Gumbo Malone.
"Barnestormer": God, you don't know how good it feels to be back inside this ring after 7 weeks off. (The crowd erupts again) Now, I'm not going to come out here and whine and cry because I didn't get the chance to win a spot on the August 29 cyber pay-per-view, which is being held in my home town of Vandalia, but I do want to let all of the winners of the singles division matches know that I will accept anyone's challenge. I know there's someone who's willing to go up against me in front of my home crowd, and I promise you when we do get in the ring, we will blow the roof off the building. Thank you very much, fans. I love you all!
* The camera cuts backstage to a the dressing room of the Black Militia, where Rory Fox and Patrick Black are watching the "Barnestormer's" promo on the monitor.
Rory Fox: Can you believe him? What a little suck-up. (sarcastically imitating the "Barnestormer") Please somebody challenge me for the pay-per-view. I want to wrestle in front of my home town fans. Wah, wah, wah!"
Patrick Black: Why don't you challenge him, then?
Rory Fox: What, for my belt? Who's he beaten to earn a shot at the title? Nobody.
Patrick Black: Who said it has to be a title match?
Rory Fox: Oh, please. You know if I challenge him, he's going to want to go right to Jaxon Breeze and ask for it to be a title match because Jaxon "owes him a favor." And don't feed me that line Jaxon fed the fans about David never asking for special favors. That's a load of [censored], and everybody knows it. And besides, unless you've forgotten, I didn't win a slot on the pay-per-view. The only way I can appear on the card is if one of the winners challenge me. So, no, I'm not challenging him. He can sit his fat [censored] at home and watch it on his computer just like everybody else.
- Monsters & Dragons ("Monster" Matt Dreez & Black Dragon) made a successful debut by defeating the A Squad when Matt Dreez pinned Dean "The Dream" Jablonski with the MICHINOKU DRIVER.
- HEW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Island Boys defeated the 5 Most Wanted to retain the HEW Tag Team titles when O.G. Ekmo pinned Cody Hawk with the SAMOAN DEMOLISHER.
* The camera cuts to the dressing room of Guffman Incorporated, where Brock Guffman and the Assassins were watching the HEW Tag Team title match on a monitor.
Brock Guffman: OK, boys. Let's go. (Brock and the Assassins walk out of the room. The camera follows them to HEW commissioner Jaxon Breeze's office. Brock pounds on the door, and then opens it and walks in with his team.) Jaxon, my boys want the Island Boys for the tag titles at the pay-per-view.
Jaxon Breeze: First of all, you don't go pounding on my door like that. I was on the phone with the new owner of Heartland Elite Wrestling, and having him hear someone trying to bang my door down doesn't instill a lot of confidence in him.
Brock Guffman: Wait a minute. What new owner?
Jaxon Breeze: That'll be revealed in time. Now, as for the Assassins request to challenge the Island Boys for the titles at the pay-per-view, you may have a problem with that. You see, next week, the Island Boys are scheduled to face the B Squad in one of the 3 "Heaven & Hell in the Heartland" qualifying matches to determine who will participate in the August 29 pay-per-view. If the Island Boys win, then you know the rules as well as I do: you cannot challenge the Island Boys for the title, just as if the 5 Most Wanted win their match in two weeks and the Island Boys don't, they can't challenge the Boys for the titles because they have to wait 2 month to challenge for the belts again.
Brock Guffman: Fine, then we'll just wait and see what happens next week. (Brock and the Assassins walk out of the office. Brock shuts the door.) We can only hope the Island Boys lose next week.
Assassin #1: We can always…
Brock Guffman: No. If you do then the Island Boys can say we screwed them out of the pay-per-view.
Assassin #2: What does it matter? Either way, they still get to participate on the pay-per-view. You'd think that they would look at it as a "win-win" deal.
Brock Guffman: And what do you think this new owner's going to do if he or she feels we intentionally caused the Island Boys to lose next week just so we could challenge them at the pay-per-view for the titles? What do you think he'll do to our spot on the pay-per-view? Use your brain. He or she could give it to someone else. We could lose out. Do you really want to take that chance? Now, let's go. (Brock and the Assassins walk off camera.)
- MAIN EVENT--HEW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Matt Stryker defeated Rory Fox by disqualification when Rory repeatedly whipped Matt into the steel ring post; however since titles in HEW only change hands by pinfall or submission, Rory Fox is still the HEW Heavyweight champion.
More Heaven & Hell in the Heartland second round matches will take place on Tuesday August 19. HEW Tag Team champions the Island Boys face the B Squad. The "Bad Seed" Shawn Osborne takes on the "New Era Icon" Jon Moxley, and Heather Divine faces Lady Draven. In addition, Matt Stryker gets one more chance at getting back the HEW Heavyweight title when he takes on Rory Fox, this time in a Texas Death Match. Who's the new owner of HEW and when will he or she make his or her grand entrance? Check back next week and find out if he decides to show his face.
