How does this affect the future of the card releases? There is no more CHIKARA to deal with, so I guess Tom will have to get permission from and work deals with these Wresling Is [blank] promotions.

That's sad news I was just starting to take notice of Chikara wrestling. I hope some of the bigger wrestling companies pick up these unemployed guys.

I've posted elsewhere I have been holding out hope for CHIKARA...that being said I am also a bit curious about the future of the sets.

Supernatural- Can you elaborate a little on the angle part? I'm more interested in the kayfabe part than insider info. I saw there was a show on 6/2. Was there any kind of angle run that night leading to the shutdown, or was it just a case of everything scheduled after the 2nd suddenly showed up as "cancelled"?

I don't know anything but I have been told it's all legit and not a storyline. If it was a storyline why would they cancel a bunch of summer shows and lose all that money? I don't think anyone is going to sacrifice paychecks for a storyline.

I think Tom stumbled on the next big thing when he put together the WrestleCon pack. 1 ROH guy, 1 CHIKARA guy etc...we have had big sets for CHIKARA, ROH, SHIMMER, CWFH, CZW etc.. and as a result, the well is quite dry for all the feds now. The answer? Power packs. Couple ROH guys, couple CHIKARA guys, a SHIMMER lady, a CWFH Main guy, a top CZW guy etc...not to mention many other Indy feds worth exploring like PWG. It's like revisiting the LOTF style after a mad rush of fed specific sets. It might be the best way to keep this party going while still getting quality names from top to bottom in every set.
