I noticed Filsinger games and Champions of the Galaxy is not on Wiki. So I thought I would suggest that someone with better computer knowledge than me and maybe experience posting on Wiki got the ball rolling. I know Tom would appreciate it and while he could do it we all want him working on the game instead lol. Anywho, just an idea.

It used to have a very extensive wiki page with a game overview of each regular edition. Unfortunately the folks at wikipedia decided to get rid of both the COTG and Tom Filsinger entries.

Why not start a dedicated Filsinger Games/CotG wiki, instead?

Why not start a dedicated Filsinger Games/CotG wiki, instead? I thought it would be cool to have a LOW (my favorite FG Game) Resource of somekind. My feeling was it could have all LOW legends listed, with a page for each and limited details like height, weight, hometown, etc. Then also have descriptions of moves that are "named" because it can get really hard to remember all these different move names and the game handbooks are great but I don't always carry all those handbooks with me. Does anyone else see the benefit of something like that?

I love the idea! Include the RAHL Ratings too.
Having all of that stuff in one place without having to scour the forum would be great!

Oh, the other thing I was thinking is that the LOW Resource could have a list on each Legend's page of wrestlers that they had teamed with IRL. Again, the handbooks often have this info but they only list other legends that are currently in the game at that time. So if a wrestler's tag partner comes into the game later on the Resource page could be updated easily whereas the handbook (obviously) can not. The same could be done for managers and who they have managed in real life.
There's probably all kinds of things that could be done with it.

Any idea why Wikipedia did that? Seems very strange to me considering all they have on there and the idea is that the site is supposed to be about information.
Great ideas you have there pikemojo!!

Another think that you could add on the Legends side of things is Feds the person has worked for. That way sets that come out after Chikara/ROH/Hollywood/CZW will have this information available.
I like how the handbooks give this information, but that information becomes dated with each new release

One might suspect that it was done by a community "admin" who had competing interests. At any rate, if two-bit indy wrestlers can have their own wiki entries, I see no reason a seasoned and successful game company and company owner/interesting dude in his own right should not.

Wikipedia has a standard of "notability" that articles are required to have. This means coverage in third-party sources. Now, it would not be particularly difficult to establish that for COTG--someone with the old Collector's Packs or the Jamestown Post-Journal coverage or the gaming magazine coverage would be able to do that easily. But you HAVE to cite sources if you're going to have a Wikipedia article--I'm guessing the lack of those is why it got deleted the first time.
A Wikipedia article on COTG would be great, but it'd have to be limited primarily to stuff that's covered in those tertiary sources. A bit of a plot overview would probably be okay, but the tertiary sources tend to primarily cover the origins and development of the game itself rather than "in-universe" stuff.
I thought at one point a separate wiki for COTG had been established somewhere. That would be the place to put information like Rahl Ratings or other gaming-specific information.
