February 8, 2014 FLYERS SKATE ZONE VOORHEES, NJ Ruckus def. Alex Colon by pin Colon took on one half of the CZW World Tag-Team Champions. The veteran Ruckus completely outclassed his opponent and ended the match with The Hate Crime. Greg Excellent def. Joker by pin The size difference was in Excellent's favor as he took down one of the members of BLKOUT who defeated he and Danny Havoc for the tag team titles. A Tiger Driver was the nail in Joker's coffin. DJ Hyde comes to the ring with the usual chants of “D-Bag!” and “F-U DJ!” As the crowd quiets down, he tells everyone in attendance that CZW never would have made it to its 15th Anniversary if not for him. This is not well accepted but DJ tells the crowd to go to hell and that their opinions mean nothing to him. Like clockwork, with DJ in the ring, Matt Tremont shows up to harass his former boss. Security rushes to subdue him and DJ backs to the other side of the ring in case he needs to retreat. Once Tremont appears contained, DJ has something to say to him. “You know, Matt, you keep interrupting my shows. If I didn’t think the whole thing would get shut down, I would call the cops to haul you off. But if you want to work so bad, I think we have some extra time if you want a match.” Tremont nods his head rabidly. “But if you don’t perform up to my expectations, you’ll never be booked in the Combat Zone again.” Tremont looks to the crowd who cheer him on. “Let’s go, DJ!” “Oh, you’re not wrestling me. I have someone else in mind. A.R. Fox! I know you’re hanging around in the back hoping to get on the show. Get your soft ass out here!” Fox steps through the curtain warily. “I don’t have all day. Do you want to be on the show or not?” Fox pauses to look at the restrained Tremont who eyes him like hunter to prey. Fox hops into the ring and awaits DJ’s next words. “Matt, you can get your job back if you beat Fox. And my expectations are that you beat him bloody! And if you want your spot back, Fox, all you have to do is survive.” Fox has a slightly panicked look on his face as DJ steps out of the ring. The CZW owner signals security to release Tremont. A.R. Fox def. Matt Tremont by pin Tremont overpowered Fox at first but the agile high-flyer soon had his opponent off balance with a variety of spectacular moves. Fox was persistent with his pin attempts and eventually caught Tremont with a flying single knee facebreaker that scored the win. Both men were shocked but while Fox was jubilant, Tremont was dumbstruck. This soon turned to anger as he left the ring, pulling at the barricade and shouting all the way to the back. Sami Callihan def. MASADA by submission Both men were trying to get back on track, working towards a title shot. Callihan was amped up and his high level of energy proved the deciding factor as he out-hustled MASADA and made him tap to the Stretch Muffler. Drake Younger def. Adam Cole by pin This match was originally scheduled for the last show but Drake was injured at Cage of Death. Cole came out strong but Drake resisted even his best offense. Younger took the fight to ringside and really gave Cole a beating. The Panama City Playboy survived two straight Drake’s Landings but later, a third got him. Drew Gulak comes to the ring with Mia Yim. BLK Jeez makes his way down next, rapping and talking smack at the crowd. He gets in the ring and takes the mic from Emil J. He asks what kind of stipulation Gulak has, apparently not worried about what it might be. Gulak requests the mic and Jeez drops it at his feet. Drew says that this match has no special stipulation, just a special referee. On this cue, Mia takes off her t-shirt revealing that she is wearing a wrestling top with referee’s stripes. Jeez calls this bulls**t and is visibly upset. CZW WIRED CHAMPIONSHIPBLK Jeez def. Drew Gulak by pin Jeez goes after the challenger with a vengeance. Gulak is in trouble right away but Mia slow-counts Jeez’ pin attempts causing him to get in her face. Gulak was as good as pinned after BLK Jeez Walks but Mia seemed to hurt her hand on the second count. Jeez has a fit and backs Mia into a corner. This allows Gulak time to recover and work his technical prowess on the champion. Despite having Jeez on the ropes, Gulak fails to capitalize. Jeez comes back and a running tornado DDT puts Drew down for good. Mia has no choice but to finish the three count. Jeez struts to the back laughing. Danny Havoc comes to the ring with a lot of support from the Combat Zone. CZW Champion, DJ Hyde, gets the opposite response for his ring entrance. Before Emil J can make the introductions, DJ asks for the mic, stirring up the crowd once again. “Seeing how this is CZW’s 15th Anniversary, it only seems right that the main event be Ultra-Violent Rules!” The fans cheer DJ for once. “That is, if it’s okay with Danny Havoc…” Havoc shows enthusiasm at the suggestion. DJ goes to hand the mic back to Emil J but hesitates. “But since this is now a non-sanctioned match, the CZW title will not be on the line…” The Combat Zone erupts in boos and Havoc is incensed. DJ stands by his decision and the main event gets under way. ULTRAVIOLENT RULESDJ Hyde def. Danny Havoc by pin DJ dominated Havoc in this one-sided match. Havoc hung in there and to everyone’s surprise, survived a Shadow Driver. DJ stayed on the challenger, punishing him just to anger the crowd. He finally ended it with a second Shadow Driver. March 8, 2014 FLYERS SKATE ZONE VOORHEES, NJ Caleb Konley def. Biff Busick by pin Konley used his agility to easily beat Busick. A barrage of high-flying offense finished with a powerslam and the 1-2-3. CZW WIRED CHAMPIONSHIPTriple Threat Match Shane Strickland def. BLK Jeez(c) and Alex Colon Strickland made his return by winning the CZW Wired Championship. This was a very fast paced match. Colon took a beating from Jeez but it was Strickland pinning the champion after a 450 Splash. Jaka def. LuFisto by count out The Wildman from the Deepest, Darkest Jungles of Chad demolished the Super Hardcore Anime. Jaka used brutal strikes and really worked his Crazed Nerve Hold. With LuFisto down on the floor, Jaka hit a flying splash from the apron and she was counted out of the ring. As the next match was ready to begin, CZW owner DJ Hyde came to the ring receiving the usual jeers from the crowd. Both Havoc and MASADA were perturbed by his arrival. Hyde said one of his favorite wrestlers still needed a match for tonight. He called out AR Fox and told him to get in the ring for a three-way match. Hyde then when on to say that, since he has defeated each of these losers, they needed to toughen up and that this match would be contested under UltraViolent Rules. Triple Threat Match UltraViolent RulesDanny Havoc def. MASADA and A.R. Fox This was an all-out brawl. Fox took a beating but hung in there with the death match icons. Fortunately for Fox, the other two mostly focused on each other and it was Havoc pinning MASADA after Total Havoc. Before the next match started, Adam Cole got on the mic and reminded the crowd that next month was the annual Best of the Best tournament. He went on to say that since he will always be the considered the greatest Best of the Best winner, he did not need to enter this year’s competition. The fans booed and Sami yanked the mic away from him. Sami said that he has won Best of the Best as well and when he wins it again this year, he’ll be considered the greatest BotB winner. The crowd cheered and Cole was visibly upset. Cole then changed his stance and said he would enter this year. Sami countered that it didn’t matter because he was still going to win. Cole was really worked up at this point and said if he didn't win this year, he would leave CZW. Callihan found this amusing, knowing Cole had shot off his mouth without thinking. A frustrated Cole quickly realized what he had done and looked worried. Sami Callihan def. Adam Cole by submission The bell rang and Sami gave Cole a vicious chop that drove him into the corner. Callihan charged in with a Forearm 2 Remember and covered Cole for a one count. As Cole kicked out, Sami snared his leg and rolled him over into the Stretch Muffler. Cole tapped out in moments. Cole was shocked and had to be worried about BotB. Drew Gulak came to the ring alone for his title match against BLKOUT. He explained that his partner, Mia Yim, had her flight delayed and that he would take on the champions by himself. Ruckus and Joker laughed but Gulak was staunch. Then Greg Excellent’s music started to play. Once in the ring, Greg offered to be Gulak’s partner for tonight. Gulak did not seem very receptive. Excellent proclaimed that he was a former multi-time tag team champion and would be a great partner. Gulak finally gave in and had Emil J. announce them as The Campaign for a Fatter Combat Zone. Gulak protested but went forward with the match. CZW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPBLKOUT(c) def. Drew Gulak & Greg Excellent by pin Excellent did his part, providing most of his team’s offense against Ruckus and Joker. However, Gulak came up short again facing his enemies in BLKOUT. Ruckus’ Hate Crime led to Drew being pinned. CZW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPDrake Younger def. DJ Hyde(c) by DQ Younger earned this rematch by defeating Adam Cole last month. He was looking to redeem his loss to Hyde at Cage of Death due to injury. DJ resented the reception Drake got from the fans. Hyde overpowered Younger right away. Only minutes into the match, DJ took a chair to Drake, repeatedly hitting him with it. The referee called for a stoppage and the champion was disqualified. DJ got on the microphone and told the crowd that he was their god, not Drake. Matt Tremont appeared in the crowd and started hollering DJ’s name. Hyde made a hasty retreat. CZW Rankings- DJ Hyde

April 12, 2014 FLYERS SKATE ZONE VOORHEES, NJ Larry Legend introduced this year's Best of the Best participants: Drake Younger, Caleb Konley, Biff Busick, Chuck Taylor, A.R. Fox, Shane Strickland, BLK Jeez, Drew Gulak, Adam Cole, Sami Callihan, Alex Colon, and Mia Yim. DJ Hyde came out with the trophy to take the customary group shot for Best of the Best. Round #1Drake Younger def. Shane Strickland & Caleb KonleyDrake really took the fight to his opponents, primarily focusing on CZW Wired Champion, Shane Strickland. Younger used Drake's Landing on Strickland to move into the semi-finals with relative ease. Adam Cole def. A.R. Fox & Biff BusickCole was desperate to make good on his promise to win BotB or he would leave CZW. These three beat the hell out of each other. Cole reversed a roll-up by Busick for the win. Chuck Taylor def. Drew Gulak & Alex Colon Taylor let Gulak and Colon duke it out while he watched. Once Colon had Drew in a pinning predicament, Chuck intervened and took advantage of the already weakened Gulak. An Awful Waffle put Taylor into the semi-finals. Mia Yim def. Sami Callihan & BLK Jeez
Callihan had no problem giving Mia equal treatment with Jeez. Sami's efforts turned more towards Jeez. Mia then took out her frustrations on Jeez at ringside. Yim ejected Sami from the ring and hit Jeez with a Spinning Seoul Kick for the win. Semi-Final RoundAdam Cole def. Drake Younger by DQ An anxious Cole came after Drake aggressively but Younger turned aside his offense and gave him a chair shot at ringside that drew a warning from the referee. Drake's Landing had people standing, expecting Younger was going to the finals but Cole kicked out. Drake took Cole out of the ring and used a chair again. The ref didn't let him get away with it a second time and disqualified Younger. A battered Cole went on to the finals with only one more match to win to stay in CZW and hold bragging rights over Sami Callihan. Mia Yim def. Chuck Taylor by pin Chuck manhandled Mia but got cocky and missed a jump from the top rope. Mia used the opening to get some strikes in and drop Taylor with a Spinning Seoul Kick. The fans are over the top as Mia goes to the finals of BotB. DJ Hyde, Ruckus, and Joker def. Matt Tremont, Greg Excellent, and Danny Havoc by DQ CZW Champion, Hyde, and CZW Tag Team Champions, BLKOUT, had the upper hand for most of this match. Havoc and Excellent were after the men who beat them for the tag straps and Tremont was rabid to get his hands on Hyde. DJ avoided tying up with Tremont but Havoc DDTed Hyde through a table. Hyde made the ref DQ Havoc and the fans were irate. Best of the Best FinalsAdam Cole def. Mia Yim by pin Cole appeared confident stepping into the ring against his former girlfriend. The match was not as one-sided as Cole would have liked. He got as good as he gave as Mia threatened to end his CZW career. In the end, Cole was victorious after a Panama Sunrise. Not only had he won this year's tournament but he crowed about being the Best of Best of the Best. CZW Rankings- DJ Hyde

April 27, 2014 FETE MUSIC HALL PROVIDENCE, RI Kevin Steen def. Biff Busick by pin These two scrapped for position with Steen coming out ahead. Busick survived the F-Cinq but Steen got the pin after a high-angle senton bomb. DJ Hyde came to the ring and the Providence crowd was all over him. “First off, every single one of you pieces of s**t should be bowing down to the greatest wrestler to ever live! I needed to clarify something from last month at Best of the Best. Matt Tremont did wrestle on that show but that does not mean he has a place on this roster. He was only filling in because someone got booked outside of CZW and didn’t show. That’s right, I’m talking about you MASADA. Now the both of you are on my s**t list. In case you morons haven’t figured it out yet, I like to kill two birds with one stone. So Tremont, MASADA, you’re up next. Ultraviolent Rules!” MASADA def. Matt Tremont by pin Tremont started strong and really worked over MASADA. The Ultraviolent Beast turned it around by sending Matt into the ring post. Soon after, he followed with a MASADAMIZER for the pin. Drew Gulak w/Greg Excellent def. Alex Colon by submission As Gulak came to the ring, Greg Excellent showed up, trailing after him. Gulak turned around with a perturbed look on his face. He told Greg to go to the back but Excellent said The Campaign For A Fatter Combat Zone needed to stick together. Gulak yelled at Greg that there was no such Campaign. Excellent was un-phased and stayed, cheering Drew on. Excellent stood at ringside eating a box of Fruit Loops given to him by a fan as Gulak made short work of Colon, tapping him with the Gu-Lock. A.R. Fox def. Sami Callihan by pin Callihan was overwhelmed by Fox’s acrobatic assault. Fox soon had his hand raised after the Krunch earned him the three count. Sami and the crowd were both stunned and Adam Cole came out clapping his hands, laughing. Fox left and Cole berated Callihan for giving that match away. Adam went on to say that was why he was the Best of the Best of the Best and Sami wasn’t. Cole continued, claiming that you could pick anyone in the CZW locker room and he would beat them. As Cole turned to leave, Sami grabbed the mic and said “OK.” Cole turned back around with a confused look on his face. “Next month I will pick your opponent. “ Cole didn’t seem interested but Sami sweetened the pot by telling Cole that he would could then pick Sami’s opponent. The fans were really getting on Cole’s case and his ego made him accept. Danny Havoc def. BLK Jeez by pin This match was all Havoc as he beat Jeez from pillar to post. Danny ended it with Total Havoc for the win. CZW WIRED CHAMPIONSHIPShane Strickland(c) vs. Mia Yim w/Greg Excellent double DQ Excellent cheered on Mia from ringside as she entered this title match earned by her great performance at Best of the Best. Strickland didn’t hold back and landed some good shots on Mia. A segment of the crowd didn’t appreciate this and he regretfully asked them what he was supposed to do. The action spilled out of the ring and the pair brawled into the crowd. Mia went berserk, screaming and throwing kicks and punches at Shane who was not prepared for this kind of retaliation. He retreated to the back with her hot on his tail. The ref threw the match out. Mia eventually returned to the cheers of the crowd and Excellent had to calm her down. Ruckus & Joker def. OI4K by pin The Crist brothers were brought back to CZW because BLKOUT needed new challengers for the CZW Tag Team Championship. This match would determine if the Crist’s would get a title shot on a future show. Ruckus started against Jake and OI4K began getting the advantage. Joker tagged in and put Dave through the ringer. Ruckus tagged back in and used Poetic Ruckus to secure the victory for his team. CZW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPDrake Younger def. DJ Hyde(c) by pin Younger received this rematch after DJ took a chair to him in their last match which ended in a referee stoppage. Now under Ultraviolent Rules, there would be a definitive winner. The crowd’s hate of Hyde was only matched by their love for Drake. Drake blitzed Hyde with mounted punches and a brainbuster on the floor. Drake’s Landing quickly sealed the deal and we had a new CZW champion! CZW Rankings- Drake Younger

I really like the vibe you have both for Hyde and Younger, so seeing Drake Younger come out on top as the new Champ over DJ Hyde is really cool. I do like the double dq between Strickland & Yim, but then too bad Mia didn't win the Wired Title...

May 10, 2014 FLYERS SKATE ZONE VOORHEES, NJ The show opened with new CZW World Champion, Drake Younger, coming to the ring with the crowd supporting him. He began to talk about beating DJ Hyde but is interrupted by a “Thank you, Drake!” chant. Drake grinned and waited for everyone to quiet down again. He pulled out some papers and said that tonight he gets to pick who his first challenger will be. All they have to do is come out and sign the open contract he was holding. He said there was one guy who had been getting a raw deal lately and that he wanted to wrestle him – Matt Tremont. The crowd voiced their approval and Tremont soon came through the crowd and joined Drake in the ring. The two shook hands but before Matt could sign the contract, CZW owner and former champion, DJ Hyde, came out. He said that there was no way that this was going to happen and that Tremont was not a part of the CZW roster. Drake countered by saying that it was an open contract and that anyone could sign. DJ’s frustration grew as the fans got on his case. Before leaving, he had this to say to Drake: “If you put over that piece of s**t, your days in this company are done!”CZW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPMatt Tremont def. Drake Younger(c) by DQ Drake lit up Tremont with some hard chops and tossed him out of the ring. Tremont sent Younger into the ring post and took over. Three straight Uranages and a Sitout Powerbomb were not enough to pin Drake. Tremont busted Drake open with a chair shot and tried another Uranage. Younger kicked out. Tremont kept after him and used a headbutt with a light tube. Drake was a bloody mess. The fight continued outside of the ring and Younger smashed Tremont with a chair. At this point DJ Hyde returned to ringside and ordered the ref to disqualify Drake. The ref hesitated, but when Hyde threatened his job, he did what he was told. Drake was DQ-ed but kept the belt. When Tremont found out what happened, he ran to the back looking for DJ. Biff Busick def. Joey Ryan by DQ Ryan and Busick fought a hard battle but neither man could finish his opponent. Ryan set up a table at ringside and, ignoring the ref's warning, he put Biff through it with a pumphandle exploder. Ryan was disqualified. Alex Colon def. Dave Crist by DQ This fast paced match also concluded with a disqualification involving the use of a table. Crist drove Colon through the table with a moonsault kneedrop. The fans in the Combat Zone booed the third DQ on the night. CZW WIRED CHAMPIONSHIPShane Strickland(c) def. Jake Crist by pin Jake had trouble keeping up with Stickland’s aerial attack. Crist eventually got in some offense but it was Strickland who successfully defended his title, getting the pin after a missile dropkick Sami Callihan was out next for his match against an opponent of Adam Cole’s choosing. Cole came out to announce his pick – MASADA! MASADA def. Sami Callihan by pin As these two waged war, Sami did as much damage to himself as he did his opponent with a series of reckless suicide dives. It was MASADA who came out on top with a powerbomb. Cole got a good laugh out of the result. After intermission, it was Cole’s turn to face an opponent of Sami’s choosing. Callihan, a little worse for wear, was on hand to introduce who Cole would face – Danny Havoc! Danny Havoc def. Adam Cole by submission Havoc pummeled Cole all over the ring while Sami looked on from the aisle with insane glee. Cole got no offense in. After nearly being counted out of the ring after a DDT on the floor, Cole is submitted by Havoc with Q2QL3. With the score evened, Sami mocked Adam and joined in with the crowd, disparaging Cole’s sexuality. As the participants for the six-person semi-main event were being announced, Kimber Lee made an unexpected appearance. She got the attention of Drew Gulak and asked him what he was doing teaming with these kinds of people. Mia Yim stood on the bottom rope and leaned over, asking Kimber what she meant by “these kinds of people”. Kimber ignored her and petitioned Drew to leave with her. “You know it’s the right thing to do, Mr. Gulak,” Lee said. Drew seemed conflicted as he looked back and forth between his partners and Kimber Lee. He stepped through the ropes and stood on the ring apron as Mia and Greg asked him what he was doing. After a moment’s hesitation, he hopped down without a word and walked back up the aisle, not looking back. Kimber smiled, satisfied, raising a hand and proclaiming – “For a better Combat Zone!”BLKOUT def. Drew Gulak, Mia Yim, & Greg Excellent by pin What had become a 3-on-2 handicap match was not much of a match at all. When the bell rang, BLK Jeez was all over Excellent, taking him down with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors then followed with the 11th Commandment and two running tornado DDTs for the win. Yim was distraught over the result and Jeez just shook his head at her before leaving with Ruckus and Joker. A.R. Fox appeared anxious as he awaited his match with DJ Hyde. DJ came out to the usual chorus of boos and chants of ‘douche bag’. DJ got on the mic and told Fox that if he was wondering why he was in the main event, it was because this event was Proving Grounds and that Fox was going to have to prove himself to Hyde in an Ultraviolent Rules match. ULTRAVIOLENT RULESA.R. Fox def. DJ Hyde by pin Fox used his agility to put DJ on the defensive. However, Hyde caught him when he jumped from the top rope and spun him around and down with a Shadow Driver. DJ’s devastating finisher usually spells the end for his opponents but Fox kicked out and the crowd went wild. Fox eventually fought back and caused DJ to bail out of the ring after a Krunch. Fox took control on the outside, givining DJ a swinging fisherman’s suplex onto a table, shattering it. A suicide senton put the crowd over the top as they chanted Fox’s name. Back in the ring, Fox used three slingshot leg drops to stun Hyde, setting him up for a 450 Splash. The ref counted 1-2-3 and the crowd popped huge again as Fox won the main event of Proving Grounds!
