ANSWERING THE CHALLENGE
* Another CZW show is opened with Drew Gulak coming to the ring & belittling CZW. He states that he is not worried about "wrestling" DJ Hyde because he is a far superior "wrestler" to Hyde.
Singles Match - Drew Gulak's Open Challenge Drew Gulak def DJ Hyde via disqualification
* Hyde wastes no time bringing the fight to Gulak, but becomes a little overzealous while brawling outside of the ring & is disqualified.
Singles Match Sami Callihan def Drake Younger via STRETCH MUFFLER
* An intense battle between two of CZW's top stars ends with a battered Callihan getting the victory & getting back on the path to CZW gold.
Singles Match Shane Hollister def Joker via BUZZSAW KICK
* The young Hollister gains a huge boost in momentum by defeating CZW veteran Joker.
Singles Match - #1 Contender's Match for the CZW Wired TV Championship Alex Colon def Chuck Taylor via DONE DEAL
* Alex Colon earns the right to challenge the winner of tonight's CZW Wired TV title match for the championship that he was never defeated for.
Singles Match Brodie Lee def Ruckus via BIG BOOT
* With BLK Jeez banned from the building, this is a true one-on-one contest. In the end, Ruckus is outmatched by the larger Brodie Lee. Afterwards, Ruckus is slow to recover, & is assisted to the back by medical personnel.
Singles Match Jon Moxley def Eddie Kingston via MOXICITY
* Both men narrowly avoid being disqualified on multiple occasions, & Moxley gets the win in this hard-fought match-up.
Singles Bombshells Match Mia Yim w/ Adam Cole def LuFisto via SPINNING SEOUL KICK
* Despite meeting Matt Tremont in the semi-finals of the CZW World Heavyweight Championship tournament later tonight, Cole accompanies Mia in her match & helps her to victory.
CZW Wired TV Championship Ultraviolent Match Greg Excellent def MASADA via TIGER DRIVER
* Excellent again uses the TIGER DRIVER, this time through a pane of glass, to get the win in what many would classify as an upset over clear ultraviolent favorite MASADA. Afterwards, Excellent gains the stamp of approval from another one of CZW's most hardcore stars as MASADA presents him with the title & raises Greg's arm in victory.
CZW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Match Shane Strickland def AR Fox via Swerve Drop
* The Battle of the 450 Splash strangely ends without it, but Strickland advances to the finals of the CZW World Heavyweight title tournament.
CZW World Tag Team Championship Match OI4K (Jake Crist [W] & Dave Crist) {C} def Briscoe Brothers (Mark Briscoe & Jay Briscoe [L]) via IRISH COFFEE
* OI4K further solidify their claim to the CZW World Tag Team titles by defending them against the Briscoe Brothers in a grueling bout full of near-falls. The Briscoes leave ringside after the two teams shake hands, allowing OI4K to celebrate the win. Suddenly, BLK Jeez emerges from the crowd, hops the guardrail, & attacks OI4K. As OI4K begins to mount a comeback, Joker & Alex Colon storm the ring & finish them off. BLK Jeez, Joker, & Alex Colon are left standing over the beaten tag team champions, & BLKOUT looks to be back in full force.
CZW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Match Adam Cole w/ Mia Yim def Matt Tremont via disqualification
* Tremont appears to have no intention to compete for the CZW World Heavyweight title as he blatantly attacks Cole with a fork.
[PROMOTER'S NOTE: This was the shortest match that I have ever played. On the first roll of the match, Tremont rolled 'attack with fork' & couldn't beat the disqualification roll.]

DJ Hyde beat Drake Younger in two moves in the Cage of Death main event. I would hate to have paid to see that.

The last time we saw both men was at Cage of Death XV when they were eliminated during the first round of the CZW World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Last month, he had to be assisted from the ring following his match with Brodie Lee, & he has been unable to obtain medical clearance. * Only days before CZW's 15th Anniversary Show, Drew Gulak's open challenge has been officially accepted, & it's been accepted by Gulak's rival, MASADA! Gulak, the last CZW World Heavyweight champion prior to CZW's titles being vacated, won the title from MASADA. Then at Cage of Death XV in December, MASADA triumphantly returned to CZW by defeating Drew in an ultraviolent match. They will battle once again, but this time in a match with rules that are much more in Gulak's favor.
* Drake Younger & DJ Hyde will both be looking for their first victories since the CZW reset, but only one may leave CZW's 15th Anniversary Show with one as they will face off against each other this week.
