* Former CZW World Heavyweight champion Adam Cole will return to the Combat Zone at Heat! Cole hasn't competed in CZW since his failed attempt to regain the CZW World Heavyweight Championship from the last titleholder, Matt Tremont. Cole has since regrouped & demanded a rematch for the title. In the Combat Zone, however, return matches must be earned. At Heat, Cole will have to do just that as he goes one-on-one with someone else looking for another chance at the CZW World Heavyweight title: Jon Moxley! At Tournament of Death this year, Moxley was the first victim to fall to then-champion Matt Tremont. Both men will surely be looking for redemption at Heat!
* In response to CZW owner DJ Hyde's proposition to Ruckus earlier this week, Ruckus agreed without any hesitation. Since BLK Jeez won't be back from his tour with Big Japan Pro Wrestling, Ruckus has selected Joker, who returned at New Heights & defeated MASADA, to be his partner. Who has Hyde picked to be his partner?
HEAT * Ricochet vs Jay Lethal
* CZW World Heavyweight Championship match AR Fox {C} vs Drake Younger
* Homicide vs Rich Swann
* #1 Contender's match for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship Adam Cole vs Jon Moxley
* CZW World Tag Team Championship match BLKOUT (Ruckus & Joker) {C} vs DJ Hyde & ?

* Drew Gulak & Danny Havoc have been impressive in the Combat Zone in the last two months, with each gaining wins over BLKOUT's Alex Colon & Pinkie Sanchez. At Heat, Gulak & Havoc will meet to determine which competitor will take that next step towards the top of the mountain in CZW!
* It was reported almost two weeks ago that Jake Crist's status for Heat was uncertain after his brutal battle with his brother Dave for an opportunity to challenge Sami Callihan for the CZW Ultraviolent Underground Championship. Combat Zone fans may recall that Callihan himself chose Dave as Jake's opponent in that #1 Contender's match. Today, CZW management received news from doctors that Jake will not only miss his rematch with Callihan at Heat, but Jake has been written out of competition indefinitely.

* CZW management is pleased to announce that two superstars will be returning to the Combat Zone after extended absences. Larry Sweeney (RIP) will return at Heat to take on BJ Whitmer!
* CZW owner DJ Hyde has released additional information in regards to his CZW World Tag Team Championship match against BLKOUT at Heat. First, Hyde has chosen his old partner, Greg Excellent, to once again team with him against BLKOUT. Second, Hyde has informed CZW management that the duo representing BLKOUT will NOT be Ruckus & Joker, but rather Alex Colon & Joker! Ruckus surely won't be pleased when he learns that he's been replaced in this high stakes tag team title match with Colon, who has gone struggled in the Combat Zone for the past 4 months.

Your next HEAT looks really solid, I'm looking to see how Lethal versus Ricochet ends up and I want Moxley to win the contendership...

HEAT is shaping up to be a nicely balanced card. Like DJ Hyde screwing with BLK Out.

* Just as it appeared that CZW owner DJ Hyde had pulled a fast one on BLKOUT by substituting Alex Colon for Ruckus in the CZW World Tag Team Championship bout, Ruckus & Joker have responded as only that can. Since the tag team title match is slated to be BLKOUT defending against Hyde & Greg Excellent, Ruckus & Joker have brutally assaulted Colon, ousting him from BLKOUT! Colon has gone winless in the Combat Zone for several months, & tensions between him & the rest of BLKOUT have been growing. With Colon no longer a part of BLKOUT & BLK Jeez still touring with Big Japan Pro Wrestling, the only members of BLKOUT available to defend the CZW World Tag Team Championship at Heat are Ruckus & Joker!
* After doctors were unable to provide CZW management with a timetable for Jake Crist's return, management has decided to move forward & schedule a #1 Contender's match for Sami Callihan's Ultraviolent Underground title. Now, the much anticipated match-up between Ricochet & Jay Lethal will be for a UVU Championship match at Down with the Sickness! CZW management has assured Jake that he will still receive his rematch with Callihan when he is cleared to return.
HEAT * #1 Contender's match for the CZW Ultraviolent Underground Championship Ricochet vs Jay Lethal
* CZW World Heavyweight Championship match AR Fox {C} vs Drake Younger
* Homicide vs Rich Swann
* #1 Contender's match for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship Adam Cole vs Jon Moxley
* CZW World Tag Team Championship match BLKOUT (Ruckus Alex Colon & Joker) {C} vs Vicious & Delicious 2k14 (DJ Hyde & Greg Excellent)
* Drew Gulak vs Danny Havoc
* Larry Sweeney vs BJ Whitmer

HEAT
Singles Match Danny Havoc def Drew Gulak via Iowa State Cyclone
* Havoc's stock in the Combat Zone continues to rise while Gulak appears to encounter a small speed bump.
Singles Match Rich Swann def Homicide via disqualification
* Homicide was comfortably in control of Swann until he decided to introduce his fork into the bout & was caught. What likely would have been a victory for Homicide turned into one of the biggest wins of Swann's young career!
CZW World Tag Team Championship Match BLKOUT (Ruckus [W] & Joker) {C} def Vicious & Delicious 2k14 (DJ Hyde & Greg Excellent [L]) via DREAM SEQUENCE
* After Ruckus & Joker attacked Alex Colon (who, as a result, was unable to appear at Heat) & booted him from BLKOUT, CZW management had no choice but to allow Ruckus to defend the CZW World Tag Team titles with Joker. CZW owner DJ Hyde is visibly unhappy, & in the end, Joker flawlessly substitutes for BLK Jeez as BLKOUT finishes off Excellent with the DREAM SEQUENCE. Per the match stipulations, Ruckus will now receive a shot at the CZW World Heavyweight Championship! Prior to leaving the ring, Ruckus grabs a microphone & confirms that Jeez will be back in the Combat Zone for Down with the Sickness.
Singles Match BJ Whitmer def Larry Sweeney via WRIST CLUTCH EXPLODER
* These two returning stars delighted CZW fans from bell-to-bell & both men received a well-earned ovation afterwards for a highly entertaining contest.
Singles Match - #1 Contender's match for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship Adam Cole def Jon Moxley via FLYING CROSSBODY
* Cole now has the opportunity to return to the top of the Combat Zone, but could that opportunity now be complicated with the guaranteed title shot awarded to Ruckus earlier?
Singles Match - #1 Contender's match for the CZW Ultraviolent Underground Championship Ricochet def Jay Lethal via 630 SENTON
* Ricochet takes a huge risk with the 630 SENTON & it pays off for him. But another murky title picture has developed in CZW as now Ricochet & Jake Crist have earned the right to challenge Sami Callihan for the CZW Ultraviolent Underground Championship!
CZW World Heavyweight Championship Match Drake Younger def AR Fox {C} via DRAKE'S LANDING
* The highly contested CZW World Heavyweight title has now switched hands twice in as many shows! Post-match, Fox is obviously disappointed in himself, but exhibits outstanding sportsmanship by handing Younger the title & raising his hand. Fox continues to impress CZW management, & more title shots are surely in his future.

Excellent action Three, I liked that Fox was the Champ, but seeing Younger win is cool. The fork costing Homicide the match is fitting, but I do like that Rich Swann was awarded the match...

Heat did not disappoint. More solid matches. I like that BLK Out was victorious. Interesting log jam in the title picture.
