* Jake Crist continues to plea with CZW management for one more shot at Sami Callihan's Ultraviolent Underground Championship, but after 2 failed attempts, it seems that the only way Jake will get that opportunity is with Callihan's consent.
* At Tournament of Death, Drew Gulak looked refocused & revitalized. At New Heights, Gulak will go toe-to-toe with another competitor looking to turn things around for himself in the Combat Zone: Pinkie Sanchez.

* CZW management continues to narrow down the possibilities for a challenger to meet Matt Tremont for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship at New Heights. They expect to announce Tremont's opponent within the next week or so.
* Biff Busick, who was a participant in the Best of the Best tournament this year, looks to redeem himself at New Heights as he goes one-on-one with Greg Excellent!

* According to CZW management, Sami Callihan has agreed to allow Jake Crist to challenge for the Ultraviolent Underground Championship, if Jake is able to win a #1 Contender's match at New Heights. Jake has accepted Callihan's offer, but who will Crist's opponent be?
* Just signed for New Heights: Alex Colon will battle CZW icon Danny Havoc. Reports have started circulating that the rest of BLKOUT have become increasingly dissatisfied with Colon's recent performances & contributions to the group, so this may be a must-win for him!

* AR Fox, who impressed management with his victory over Claudio Castagnoli at Prelude to Violence last month, was named the #1 Contender for Matt Tremont's CZW World Heavyweight Championship at New Heights!
* Caleb Konley, who earned a CZW World Heavyweight title shot by winning Best of the Best XIII, made the best of his opportunity & defeated Adam Cole for the championship. Konley then, however, lost the title to Matt Tremont in his first defense only two weeks after winning it. Konley hasn't been seen in the Combat Zone since, but he will undoubtedly look to avenge that loss & return to championship contention at New Heights when he clashes with Shane Hollister!

* Last week, it was reported that Ultraviolent Underground Champion Sami Callihan would get to choose Jake Crist's opponent in a #1 Contender's match for Callihan's UVU title. Jake's opponent has been revealed, & it is none other than his brother, Dave Crist!
* BLK Jeez & Joker have represented BLKOUT & CZW well while touring with Big Japan Pro Wrestling as they have successfully defended the CZW World Tag Team Championship against all challengers. What awaits them upon their return to the U.S.?

* Gulak appears to be figuring out how to return to the top of the Combat Zone.
* CZW owner DJ Hyde addresses the crowd & informs them that Ruckus has been banned from the building tonight to ensure that there will be no interference in the Alex Colon/Danny Havoc bout.

Danny Havoc def Alex Colon via GENERAL ORDER 24
* Havoc appears to have the match won when Joker, to everyone's surprise, emerges from the crowd & attempts to get involved. Havoc, however, is able to avoid Joker's attack & finishes off Colon for the victory. A furious DJ Hyde comes to ringside & tells Joker that there is someone backstage that isn't booked for tonight. Hyde then places Joker in a "welcome home" match as MASADA's music begins to play.

* An irate DJ Hyde is seen at the curtain at the conclusion of this hard-hitting contest that Joker manages to survive.

* This match-up quickly turns into an all-out war with the referee being lenient to both men. Eventually, however, Necro takes things too far & is disqualified, much to the dissatisfaction of the audience.

* It can be argued that neither Crist won this battle as the brothers tore into each other from bell-to-bell for an opportunity to challenge their former ally for the Ultraviolent Underground title. Jake bests his brother, but afterwards, both men require assistance to leave ringside as the crowd cheers & applauds them.

AR Fox def Matt Tremont {C} via LO MEIN PAIN
* An emotional competition for both men, Fox finally claiming the CZW World Heavyweight title while Tremont is forced to part with it. A disappointed Tremont leaves the ring while Fox celebrates.

* CZW management is thrilled to announce the first match-up for Heat, & it will be a contemporary dream match between two of the biggest indy stars today. Ricochet will go one-on-one with current ROH World Television champion, Jay Lethal!
* If you thought that DJ Hyde's aversion for BLKOUT could not grow any more, you were wrong. Hyde's hate for the group has continued to snowball as BLKOUT manages to find ways around his plans to tame them.

* At New Heights, AR Fox achieved his long-time dream of winning the CZW World Heavyweight Championship in a very emotional contest. At Heat, however, that dream may become a nightmare as he will be defending the title against Drake Younger, who has been nearly unbeatable lately.
* CZW management has yet to make an announcement on a Ultraviolent Underground Championship match for Heat. At New Heights, Jake Crist had to go through his brother Dave to earn the right to once again challenge Sami Callihan, but Jake has not been cleared to compete after this month's grueling battle.

* Just signed: Homicide will make his return to CZW at Heat when he takes on the high-flying Rich Swann! Homicide will undoubtedly be one of Swann's biggest tests yet.
* CZW owner DJ Hyde has issued a challenge to Ruckus: Hyde & a partner of his choosing will challenge BLKOUT for the CZW World Tag Team Championship at Heat. If BLKOUT retains the titles, Ruckus will receive a future title match for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship. With BLK Jeez still touring with Big Japan Pro Wrestling until September, the risk is high for Ruckus, but can the possibility of another CZW World Heavyweight title run be enough to persuade him?
