MATCH #1
JOHNNY VALENTINE vs KILLER KOWALSKI
A really quick match as Valentine dominates Kowalski with a knee lift, belly to belly suplex and abdominal stretch. Kowalski falls to the mat awkwardly and Valentine covers him for the pin.
JOHNNY VALENTINE defeats KILLER KOWALSKI in 1:24.
MATCH #2
HAWK vs HARLEY RACEBack and forth action starts off the match but eventually Hawk’s sheer power dominates any offence Race can muster up. Suplex after suplex, clothesline after clothesline, Race refuses to give up. Race does recover and delivers a few headbutts to Hawk and follows up with knee drops and a throw into the turnbuckle. When going for another throw, however, Hawk flattens Race out with a clothesline, and another, and yet another clothesline! The tough Race continues to stubbornly hold on and catches Hawk going for another clothesline and missing. Race uses the opportunity to apply a few moves and ends up catching Hawk in a piledriver. The ref slaps the mat three times.
HARLEY RACE defeats HAWK by pin in 15:48.
MATCH #3
GIANT BABA vs IRON SHEIKThe Iron Sheik matches up really well against Giant Baba. The two exchange offences back and forth throughout the match. Each man, when thrown into the turnbuckle, is able to counter the charging opponent with knee lifts. Eventually, however, the Baba Chops wear the Skeik down and the giant one gets the pin.
GIANT BABA defeats IRON SHEIK by pin in 10:36.
MATCH #4
JIMMY SNUKA vs THE DESTROYERSnuka is a man on fire as he attacks The Destroyer and delivers eye gouges, headbutts, and then tosses Destroyer out of the ring. Snuka proceeds to bodyslam Destroyer on the concrete and is warned about disqualification from the ref. Snuka tosses Destroyer back in the ring and The Destroyer eventually mounts an offence with a headlock, forearms, and kneedrop. Snuka manages to toss Destroyer out of the ring though and again is warned by the ref about a DQ. Snuka ignores the ref and proceeds to bodyslam The Destroyer onto the concrete and the ref calls for the bell.
THE DESTROYER defeats JIMMY SNUKA by DQ in 5:00.
MATCH #5
FRANK GOTCH vs ANIMALWith his high agility, Gotch dazzles Animal with leg takedowns, moonsaults, and more. Eventually, Animal leaves the ring to catch his breath but Frank continues outside and dropkicks Animal onto the announcers table! Both men make it back into the ring and avoid disqualification and then Animal overpowers Gotch in a series of slams and throws. Stunned, Gotch finds himself in the receiving end of Animal’s deadly Doomsday powerslam and is unable to move.
ANIMAL defeats FRANK GOTCH by pin in 7:48.
MATCH #6
BOBO BRAZIL vs TED DIBIASEBrazil comes after Dibiase hard and controls most of the earlier part of the match. Recognizing he is in trouble, Dibiase slides out of the ring and Brazil follows him to administer more punishment. Things backfire though when Ted manages to ram Bobo’s head into the ringpost which causes Brazil to get busted open. Ted takes advantage of the bleeding Brazil once back in the ring by delivering backward elbows off the rope to Brazil’s bleeding forehead over and over again. The million dollar sleeper gets applied a few times as well but Bobo hangs on! Eventually Brazil gets the upper hand and is miraculously able to deliver a few coco butts to Dibiase and gets the pin.
BOB BRAZIL defeats TED DIBIASE by pin in 16:00.
MATCH #7
BUDDY ROGERS vs GREG VALENTINEValentine dominates Rogers early and even catches Rogers in a few figure four leglocks. Greg continues to wear down Buddy by constant throws into the turnbuckle as well as outside the ring. Eventually, the frustrated Rogers ends up delivering his own leg lock on Valentine and tosses him out of the ring. While on the concrete floor, Rogers almost uses a chair on Valentine but stops short due to the warnings of the ref. The closing moments see Rogers toss Valentine into the ropes and attempt a sunset flip. Upon return though, Valentine ends up rolling Rogers into a ball scoring the pin.
GREG VALENTINE defeats BUDDY ROGERS by pin in 22:24.
MATCH #8
NICK BOCKWINKEL vs OX BAKERBockwinkel and Baker exchange moves back and forth for the first minute until Ox attempts to throw Nick into the turnbuckle. Bockwinkel reverses the throw and Baker ends up in the turnbuckle instead. Nick charges and attempts a closeline but Ox moves out of the way just in time and Bockwinkel ends up wrapping his arm up in the turnbuckle and post! Ox seizes the opportunity by rolling up the hurt Bockwinkel and getting the early pin.
OX BAKER defeats NICK BOCKWINKEL by pin (snake-eyes!) in 2:24.
After the pin, Ox begins to stomp on Bockwinkel’s wounded arm over and over again! Nick screams out in agony! The bell rings continuously and eventually wrestlers begin to storm the ring. All hell breaks loose and Ox, realizing he is really outnumbered, scurries out of the ringside area as the wrestlers check out the downed Bockwinkel. Later it is confirmed that Nick Bockwinkel is injured for 1 Card!
