MATCH #1 (20 minute time limit)
KING KONG BUNDY vs TED DIBIASEWho were once tag partners are now rivalries in the opening bout! The match does not last very long as Bundy gets his way with DiBiase. Bundy hits Ted with a few powerful forearms and also pulls off his devastating Avalanche move early but Ted miraculously kicks out! Bundy then administers a bear hug which seems to squeeze the life out of DiBiase. Bundy lets the limp body fall to the mat and then delivers another Avalanche. Ted lies motionless as Bundy gets the 5-count!
KING KONG BUNDY defeats TED DIBIASE by pin in 2:42
MATCH #2 (20 minute time limit)
NICK BOCKWINKEL vs OX BAKER This turns into a wild affair with as much time spent out of the ring as in the ring! Wrestlers take turns throwing each other out of the ring and somehow avoid being counted out and disqualified! Eventually, Bockwinkel catches Baker in a figure four leg-lock and then the Bockwinkel sleeper, but the tough Ox does not submit! When it’s Baker’s turn to apply the heart punch multiple times, Bockwinkel musters up enough energy to kick out of the pin both times! With both combatants being extremely battered after battling it out nonstop for 7 minutes, Bockwinkel capitalizes on Baker making an error and rolls him up for the pin.

MATCH #3 (30 minute time limit)
GIANT BABA vs HARLEY RACEEven though Harley Race was injured by Killer Kowalski (see CARD #7), Race came to this match determined to continue without taking time off to recuperate! This may have turned out to be a bad decision, however, since Baba has his way with Harley and the match is short-lived when Baba’s Neckbreaker Drop is applied just a few minutes into the match.

MATCH #4 (30 minute time limit)
JOHNNY VALENTING & GREG VALENTINE vs PLAYBOY BUDDY ROSE & GORGEOUS GEORGEGreg Valentine and Buddy Rose start things off and Greg immediately gets the upper hand. Valentine applies move after move and Rose is in trouble early and unable to tag out to George. After a few minutes of being man-handled, Rose eventually capitalizes on a mistake made by Valentine and tags out to the Gorgeous one. George is able to gain the advantage with high flying maneuvers but the powerful Valentine takes over and George finds himself in trouble. Cherie Dupre attempts to interfere to hopefully change the pace of the match but it doesn’t work out for Rose and George. Frustrated, Gorgeous George tosses Greg Valentine out to the concrete floor and George and Rose begin to punish Greg. Johnny Valentine tries to stop the melee but Cherie Dupre corners him off long enough for the bell to start ringing and Rose and George to continue their onslaught. Eventually, Johnny gets over to Greg but the damage is done and the perpetrators are making their way back to the dressing room!

***** INTERMISSION *****MATCH #5 (30 minutes time limit)
FRANK GOTCH vs JIMMY SNUKASnuka goes after Gotch immediately with an eye gouge and a series of head butts and then whips Frank into the turnbuckle. Frank reverses it though and takes Snuka down! The athletic Jimmy, however, isn’t phased and tosses Frank outside of the ring and goes out after him. Snuka is almost dq’d for attempting to use a chair so he changes his mind and tosses Frank back into the ring. Snuka hits Gotch with move after move and Frank is in trouble. Eventually, Gotch finds a free moment to gather his bearings by rolling out of the ring. Snuka, sensing victory goes, after Gotch but Frank grabs Snuka and throws him into the announcer table. Feeling that he is behind in the match, Frank desperately tries to gain the upper hand but Snuka is too much to handle! Snuka eventually performs the Superfly Leap but to the surprise of the crowd, Gotch kicks out of the pin! In the closing moments, however, Snuka catches Gotch with a piledriver and it’s all over.

MATCH #6 (30 minute time limit)
IRON SHEIK & NIKOLAI VOLKOFF vs RED BASTIEN & THE DESTROYERBoth teams realize the importance of this match since the winners will take on the Road Warriors at the next card! The Destroyer and Iron Sheik start and both wrestlers exchange blow after blow. Eventually, due to a loaded boot, the Sheik gets the upper hand and The Destroyer is in trouble. The Sheik does everything he can to wear down The Destroyer and after numerous pin attempts and even the Camel Clutch, The Destroyer cannot be put away. The Sheik tags to Nikolai and Volkoff begins to punish The Destroyer. Eventually, a hot tag is made to Red Bastien who has been waiting patiently and becomes a house on fire when he finally is allowed into the action! He goes through Nikolai, then the Sheik, and then Nikolai again. When he goes for the atomic drop and pins Nikolai, The Sheik comes storming in to break the pin attempt but The Destroyer quickly jumps in gives the Sheik a knee to the midsection. The ref slaps the mat three times!
RED BASTIEN & THE DESTROYER defeat NIKOLAI VOLKOFF & IRON SHEIK by pin in 6:00
The crowd goes wild as Bastien and Destroyer celebrate and Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff walk back to the dressing room shaking their heads in misbelief.
MATCH #7 WORLD’S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! (60 minute time limit)
BUDDY ROGERS (Challenger) vs BOBO BRAZIL (Champion)Before the bell even sounds, both Wrestlers attack each other immediately! Buddy initially gets the upper hand and after a few moves, tosses Bobo outside of the ring. The ref is desperately trying to get things in order as Rogers slides out of the ring after Bobo. The ref tries to grab Buddy and with Rogers distracted, Brazil Seizes the opportunity to pull Buddy away from the ref and slam into the ring post. The ref has fallen backwards and does not see the action outside of the ring so Brazil does not get dq’d! Buddy is busted open and Bobo tosses him back into the ring. Brazil goes for the Coco Butt and pins Rogers but Buddy kicks out. Brazil tosses Buddy into the corner and goes for a clothesline but Buddy bounces back and does the same thing! Brazil takes most of the damage and Rogers recovers first and is furious that Brazil has busted him up! Rogers tosses Brazil out of the ring, follows him outside, and then viciously rams Brazil’s head into the announcer’s table over and over again! The ref calls for the bell and during that time, Brazil is able to come back with an offence of his own and starts hammering back on Buddy. The ring bell is ringing continuously but the two wrestlers are oblivious to the sound and continue to exchange blows as they make their way back to the dressing room!

Over the loudspeaker the announcer, over the crowd noise, thanks everyone for coming out. The voice then informs the crowd that Greg Valentine has been injured for one card and that the main event on the next card will have the Road Warriors defending the world tag team championship against Red Bastien and The Destroyer. The crowd cheers loudly!
