You do an excellent job of describing the action without overwhelming the reader with too much unnecessary detail... And you've got just the right amount of drama to go along with it...
Hoping that RVD is in good enough shape to make his title rematch next week... And would LOVE to see him VAN TERMINATE Mr. Harley Race and reclaim the big prize...
I can totally picture The Midnight Express taking tag team gold... Seems more likely than the duo of Poffo & Powers...
Brody is a monster! I don't play the B&W Legends myself, so I've never seen his card... But, his performance seem to be consistently brutal across all feds that I read...
Too bad Sabu lost in his one-shot bout... Looks like his homicidal, suicidal style might have done him more harm than good... Live by the sword, die by the sword... Look forward to seeing him again...
Very entertaining... Nice work!

Thank you. I'm enjoying writing and rolling!
Was gutted that Gordy lost, but dice know best! Brody hasn't really had a challenge yet but I have a big surprise for him planned!
Gonna bring in on more tag team to work The Midnights, The Vachons and The Bees as I'm not convinced that P&P can cut it. I see a falling out there! Any suggestions on a new tandem?
Sure Sabu will be back. I'm starting 'Try Out Tuesday' tonight for the next fortnight where some Indy talent will have a chance of a contract with the HBWA or FPW.
FPW report coming later...this is turning into more of a comedy fed! Always full of upsets and my girlfriend has made some very odd alliances!

Try Out Tuesday! Results:
Match 1 'Glorious' George South (HBWA) V The Belgian Brawler
A very entertaining back and forth match saw The Belgian Brawler get the better of his more experienced opponent, hitting a huge Belgian Body slam and a pair of Belgian Waffle forearms to defeat the valiant South. Rupa has certainly done himself some no harm here if he wants to win a contract. Winner: The Belgian Brawler.
Match 2 Colt Cabana V Randy Rose (FPW)
A back and forth match where a lot of the fighting took place outside of the ring. Rose managed to escape the Billy Goat's Curse before sending Cabana into the announce table on the outside. Avoiding the DQ, Rose hit a Rose Bomb followed by a DDT, but was unable to cover Cabana. Cabana mounted some offence but was stopped in his tracks when his attempts to hit a super plex backfired. Rose hit another Rose Bomb at it was all over. A Decent showing by Colt Cabana, but Randy Rose's experience told here. Winner: Randy Rose
Match 3 Jimmy Jacobs V Justin (InCredible) (FPW)
In a surprisingly one sided match, Jimmy Jacobs systematically took apart (Incredible), hitting with a Fisherman neckbreaker, the Berzerker Boot and a top rope senton to gain the pinfall victory. (In)Credible just couldn't cope with Jacob's pace and never got going. Somewhat of a shock. Winner: Jimmy Jacobs
Match 4 Nigel McGuinness V Johnny Rodz (HBWA)
McGuinness destroyed Rodz, smashing him with the corner to corner forearm strike before tossing him from the ring. Rodz barely recovered before he was locked in the London Dungeon and tapped quicker than you can say 'ham n egger'. Very impressive from the London punk! Winner: Nigel McGuinness
Match 5 The Heartbreak Express V Jim Powers & Lanny Poffo (HBWA)
A highly competitive, highly entertaining match saw The Heartbreak Express pick up the victory with The Heartbreaker on Lanny Poffo. Powers had earlier kicked out of Sean Davis' pin following the Butt Bomb, but the Express used their quick double team moves to cut of the ring and punish Powers. Poffo made the hot tag and hit a dropkick and a cross body block on Sean Davis before he too tagged in Phil who appeared to hit Poffo with brass knuckles before the duo delivered the Heartbreakeer. Winners: The Heartbreak Express
Officials from the HBWA and FPW will now sit down and decide which (if any) of the trialists will be signed to a contract. Next Tuesday, six more hopefuls will take on talent from HBWA & FPW in an attempt to win favour.
Thank you and see you all soon!

Really hoping to see the Zombie Princess make your regular roster... McGuinness and the Express look pretty deserving as well... Tryout Tuesday... Very cool concept! The inside scoop is that Jacobs will be signed....i'd like to see him feud with Tiger Mask(HBWA) or Liger (FPW). Also pulling for The Begian Brawler as I'm earmarking him as a 'jobber to the stars' guess that depends on his demands! More next week!

KJ Hill introduces the crowd to her 'main squeeze', Savage-T! "Savage-T is here to win championships, to become a legend, to be the biggest star on the planet, go get 'em, baby!" Savage-T gets the jump on Rodz and hits him a reverse elbow before catching him with a super kick. T throws Rodz to the outside and continues the assault, smashing him into the guard rail. A groggy Rodz fights back and makes his way back inside, catching T with an arm drag. Rodz sends his opponent into the ropes, but is caught with a piledriver and is stunned. T applies the Boston Crab, but Rodz manages to get to the ropes. Rodz can't recover enough at is smashed with the Vertibreaker and is pinned! A confident victory for Savage-T. T & Hill celebrate in the ring by spraying silly string over their opponent. A confident debut! Winner: Savage-T
DARK MATCH 2: Mr X V Jumpin' Jim Brunzell
Mr X starts on the offence with a knee lift, arm bar and a headbutt in quick succession. X fluffs a dropkick and ends up on his butt! Brunzell hoists the mystery man up for a suplex and crashes him down hard in the middle of the ring. After a headlock take down, X wriggles free and hits another knee lift to wind the Killer Bee. Brunzell reverses a posting and smashes the advancing X with the Killer Dropkick. We all know what happens next...... Winner: Jumpin' Jim Brunzell.
HBWA commissioners announce that there is an extensive talent drive currently taking place as the HBWA aims to expand it's roster.Tonight we will see two brand new signings making their full televised debut! Tonight's show is going to be exciting! Let's go straight to ringside, where RVD is being interviewed;
"My Doctor says I'm not cleared to fight tonight, but I am here to claim what is rightfully mine. I want my title back and I'm going to get it right here, right now, so come on down Harley Race, let's do this straight away! Harley Race appears at the top of the ramp; "What have you been smoking?! Either you're high again or your head is still ringing from that pile driver I gave you! You know how this is going to work; I WILL fight you tonight, but i'll see you out here in two hours. I've got business to attend to in the back.."
MATCH 1: Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine V Tiger Mask
Two men who are vying for championship gold square off in the opening match of the night. Valentine assaults the Japanese sensation with a series of body slams, forearms and chops before tossing him to the outside. Tiger Mask recovers and hits a huge Space Flying Tiger Drop and recovers first to take over. Valentine bails to the outside and tries to grab a chair, but is caught by a jumping spin kick, clattering him to the floor, chair and all. Tiger Mask pulls Valentine back inside and hits a twisting moonsault before finishing Valentine with the Tiger Suplex (snake eyes). A Big win for Tiger Mask, but another loss for Valentine. He looks distraught after the bell, smashing the apron with his fists. Winner: Tiger Mask
The Patriot is being interviewed at ringside; "Adrian Street, you are officially on notice because I am back and I am going to make you pay for what you did to me. Your assault on me is an assault on America!" The crowd cheer as The Patriot brings his hand to his chest; "God Bless America, God Bless all of you!" The Patriot has a match next..
MATCH 2: The Patriot V 'Greasy' George South
The Patriot and South exchange arm wringers and arm bars. South gets the advantage and traps the masked man in a headlock, repeatedly punching him in the face. Patriot grab's South's leg as he goes for a boot to the chest and spins him around connecting with a big boot of his own! A top rope clothesline followed by a Patriot Missile has South downed, but amazingly, he manages to drape a foot across the ropes to break the pin. South's recovery is short lived and he's hit with a neck breaker job for the win. Winner: The Patriot
As The Patriot celebrates and waves to the crowd, he is ambushed by two men who jump the barrier. The pair viciously beat him down. As one hits him with a huge suplex, the other locks him in a painful submission move. Adrian Street appears at the top of the ramp with Miss Linda and The Missing Link at his side; "You silly Americans, when will you learn? Let me introduce you to The British Invasion! Nigel, David, finish him off!" Nigel McGuinness and Dave Taylor hold The Patriot to his knees and push his head up as Street makes his way through the ropes. Lipstick in hand, 'The Exotic One' applies the make up to the masked man before drawing a huge love heart across his mask! The ruthless foreigners celebrate in the ring as the crowd's chorus of boos gets louder and louder.
MATCH 3: Terry Gordy (C) V B. Brian Blair (Television Title Match)
Last week, Terry Gordy was the victim of a huge upset at the hands of Brian Blair. Blair and tag partner Jim Brunzell appeared to swap places at the end of the match, leaving the champ fuming. This week, the title is on the line and with Brunzell banned from ringside, will Gordy have the same problems? Gordy is in no mood to play and completely destroys Blair with a pair of cruel looking clotheslines and sharp postings which leave Blair on all fours, wincing in pain. A big back suplex and and Bamm Bamm slam lead to an early cover, but Blair kicks out. trying to seize the momentum, Blair delivers a gut to Gordy's gut, slowing him down. He hits a clothesline and rocks the big man. He finally downs him with a shoulder tackle and applies the Boston Crab, but the man from Chattanooga is too strong and breaks the hold. Gordy regains his composure and traps Blair in a sleeper. Barely able to escape, Blair is a dead man walking and falls victim to a crunching piledriver. Gordy retains. Who's next?! Winner: Terry Gordy (Television Champion)
Captain Lou Albano is out to deliver some bad news. "I've just got off the phone and I've been told Bruiser Brody is not well, so he won't be hear tonight, which is such a shame as you know tonight was gonna be the night I was gonna kick his ass! You disappointed? Forget about it! I can go too, gimme a match now and I'll show ya I've still got it going real good." Astonishingly, Albano is going to fight! Here comes his opponent!
MATCH 4: Captain Lou Albano V Mr X
The one time 'Mr (Se) X and the Captain shakes hands as the bell rings..Alabano blasts X with clumsy looking kick and the 'Masked Misfit' hits the canvas hard. Albano delivers another kick to the 'Masked Mistake', right between the legs! If we could see his face, we'd probably see a grimace! Albano tosses X from the apron and onto the floor. He holds his hands aloft and the crowd boo. Mr X doesn't look like he's going to beat the count! he remains on the floor and Albano celebrates some more. Demanding that the referee holds his hand aloft, the victory is handed to Albano. There was something very fishy about that! And where exactly is Bruiser Brody? Winner: Captain Lou Albano
HBWA commissioners confirm that the tournament to crown the next Tag Team Champions will begin next week. We can already confirm that The Vachons, The Midnight Express, Jim Powers & Lanny Poffo are entrants. Captain Lou Albano has promised us another mystery team and seeing as he is still at ringside, celebrating his win, let's see if we can get the inside scoop; "Handsome Jimmy, Luscious Johnny; The Valiant Brothers are coming to the HBWA baby! I am THE KING of tag team wrestling and my boys are gonna be wearing the gold!"
MATCH 5: Harley Race (C) V Rob Van Dam (World Heavyweight Championship)
The crowd are jumping for tonight's main event! The World Heavyweight Title is on the line! The referee parades the belt around the ring and away we go! RVD and Race trade punches. Amazingly, RVD wins the exchange and Race ducks between the ropes. Using the ref as a shied, Race sticks RVD with a headbutt and he goes down. Race drops a knee and then smashes RVD with an impressive suplex and goes for the cover. RVD kicks out and race protests about a slow count. A continued assault sees RVD grounded for a long period but as Race attempts the diving headbutt, RVD rolls out of the way and springs to his feet! He hits a standing moonsault and a body scissors cradle to take the advantage. The crowd's attention turns to the entrance curtain as The Iron Sheik begins to make his way slowly to ringside. RVD is momentarily distracted and is sent into the turnbuckle. Race attempts to clatter his opponent with a clothesline but RVD springs to the top of the post and hits a sweet kick right on Race's jaw. RVD scales the turnbuckle and singles for the Five Star Frog Splash. The crowd erupts, but Sheik is on the apron, distracting the referee. RVD drops down to deal with the Iranian superstar. He bounces off the opposite ropes and hits Sheik with a back kick, sending him to the guardrail below. Race is up however and spins RVD round and clocks him with to hard head butts. Race catches RVD in the piledriver and smashes him to the canvas. He makes the cover and it's all over! Race retains his title, with some help from The Iron Sheik Winner: Harley Race: World Heavyweight Champion
As we are about to go off air, cameras rush backstage to the locker room where Bruiser Brody is going crazy! He has smashed a huge hole through a door and is running through the corridor, swinging his chain. Event staff are running for cover as Brody looks like more of a man man than usual. As the stage hand cues us down for five, we hear Brody screaming; "ALBANO! It was YOU who padlocked that door, I know it! Next week Albano, it's me and YOU!"
Goodnight folks, see you next week!

Once again, a very fun show... Your pre- and post-match segments are some of the most entertaining out there... From the antics of Adrian Street to finding out that someone had locked Brody in a room for the duration of the show... It's not hard to tell that you're a fan of the classics because these moments pay definite tribute to an era when backstage hijinks were the order of the day...
Don't get me wrong either... Your in-ring action is super solid as well... Tiger Mask vs. Valentine was an excellent bout... And it was great to see Terry Gordy bounce back from his previous loss to Blair, in order to retain the TV title...
RVD vs. Harley Race was OFF the CHAIN! Although I was hoping for the Whole F'n Show to reclaim the big prize... As expected, Iron Sheik's presence proved integral to Race's success... But, it was a superb contest from start to finish... Excellent work!

Thank you! I've just edited all the typ-os! I wonder who kept Brody at bay tonight? Somebody is messing with him and I wouldn't want to be in their trainers when he catches up with them!
RVD was carrying a couple of injury tokens and had it all to do tonight but he fared pretty well. The one thing I am struggling with in my fed is faces! Apart from RVD, I guess I am building Brody up to be a face. The rest of the roster is pretty heel heavy apart from the interchangeable job guys. Of course British wrestlers have to be heels as well, there's no doubt.
I also change George South's nickname for every card. He's been Gentleman, General, Greasy and Glorious so far...
It's FPW to post tomorrow, where things are getting a little weird...
