GWF Ringside Timeline: April 2074. In the wake of the Galactic Wars, former POW (Pleiades Outlaw Wrestling) stars and rivals Omega and Morpheus announced they have formed a legitimate professional wrestling organization, the Galaxian Wrestling Federation (GWF), which will debut in September.
GWF Ringside Timeline: September 2074. With the debut of the GWF only days away, Omega and Morpheus have provided some details regarding what fans can expect from the new promotion. Events will be held roughly every 3-4 weeks at the Deimos Intergalactic Arena on Deimos, Mars. Seventeen wrestlers have been contractually signed to compete in the GWF at this time: 10 former POW stars (including Omega and Morpheus) provide the experienced backbone of the roster, and a talent search undertaken by Morpheus resulted in additional talent being signed from Earth, Cygnus, Thalassis (2), and Mensa (2). A masked loner from parts unknown rounds out the roster. Morpheus offered and sent two additional contracts to experienced competitors in Dorado, but no word has been heard from them.
The first show will act as an introduction of the GWF to the fans – five matches have been signed, with a scheduled main event of Omega vs Morpheus. Tournaments to crown the first GWF Galaxian champion and GWF tag team champions will be held during cards 2 and 3, with the finals to be held on card 4. Eight wrestlers will compete in the GWF Galaxian title tournament… seven (Omega, Morpheus, Torin Caelum, K.O. Keller, Screw, Santon, and Ricken Prince) have already been entered into the tournament, with the final seed to be awarded to the winner of the Commander Sam/Torpor match to be held on card 1. Four tag teams (Paladin Power, Defiance, CrossCurrents, and The Mensans) have been entered into the GWF Tag Team title tournament; all four teams will also compete on card 1.

GWF 1 (2074.01) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
Commander Sam vs. Torpor Commander Sam defeated Torpor with the STAR SPANGLED BANNER at 8:23. Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: A hard-fought opening match featuring two rookies, whose youth and inexperience did show at times. Torpor impressively survived three consecutive STAR SPANGLED BANNERS during the match and tried mounting a comeback, only to fall to Sam’s finisher for a 4th time.
CrossCurrents (Thetis and Vortex) vs. The Mensans (Cordsar and Trotarus) Trotarus defeated Thetis with the MENSAN LOCK at 3:20 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: The Mensans pick up the victory after a quick tag on offense surprised Thetis.
Torin Caelum vs. Santon Santon defeated Torin Caelum with a cross body block off the top turnbuckle at 13:43 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Santon mounted an impressive comeback after Torin Caelum dominated the match early. Both wrestlers survived several pin attempts during the match.
Paladin Power (Moonstrike and Solar Flare) vs. Defiance (Blood and Jammer) Solar Flare defeated Jammer via disqualification at 13:15 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: A back-and-forth contest that devolved into a brawl out of the ring, where Jammer was disqualified for pushing the referee as the referee was attempting to separate the two men.
Omega vs. Morpheus was scheduled to be the main event. However, after both men had come to the ring and were introduced to the crowd, two men came to the ring. Holding signed contracts, they announced themselves as Dorado Sundown (Blacklash and Bullwhip) and stated their intention to take over the GWF, starting with challenging the co-owners to a match right now. Omega and Morpheus quickly accepted, and the match was on!
The Guardians (Omega and Morpheus) vs. Dorado Sundown (Blacklash and Bullwhip) Blacklash defeated Omega with SUNDOWN at 11:58 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: An exciting match with the fans solidly behind Omega and Morpheus ended with Omega rolling back in the ring and being hit immediately with Blacklash’s finisher. Bullwhip added a couple of foot stomps to Omega before Morpheus chased him and Blacklash out of the ring. Morpheus helped Omega to his feet, and the two co-owners stood in the ring as the fans cheered them.

GWF Ringside
Dorado Sundown definitely made an impression upon their surprising appearance and subsequent victory over Omega and Morpheus. Blacklash and Bullwhip intend not only to win both the GWF Galaxian and Tag Team titles, but to wrest control of the GWF away from its founders. Morpheus confirmed that Dorado Sundown were indeed the two wrestlers who had been offered contracts that had not returned them prior to the GWF’s debut card. They are indeed signed to compete in the GWF, but will not be eligible to compete in either title tournament, as the invitations to each tournament were already finalized prior to their signing.
A fan in attendance at the debut card posted on social media that he bumped into a disguised Jack Hood in the seating area during a break between matches. Upon being recognized, the fan stated Hood quickly left the arena. Notified of this, Omega said that if he bought a ticket for the event, he has every right to attend as a fan. Omega stated that Jack Hood was not offered a contract to compete in the GWF. When asked if Hood had himself petitioned the co-owners to compete in the GWF, Omega deferred to Morpheus, who simply said “No comment.”
The next card will feature the four 1st round matches in the GWF Galaxian Title tournament, along with one of the two 1st round matches in the GWF Tag Team Title tournament. The matches are:
(1) Omega vs. (8) Commander Sam (2) Morpheus vs. (7) Ricken Prince [GWF debut] (3) Torin Caelum vs. (6) Screw [GWF debut] (4) K.O. Keller [GWF debut] vs. (5) Santon (1) Paladin Power vs. (4) CrossCurrents
Omega and Morpheus confirmed that Santon’s surprise victory over the respected veteran Torin Caelum boosted Santon’s seeding, as he had tentatively been slated to be the 7-seed. How will he respond to the stronger seed? Meanwhile, three POW veterans will make their GWF debuts in the tournament. How will they fare in the GWF?

GWF 2 (2074.02) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
GWF Tag Team Title tournament – 1st round match Paladin Power (Moonstrike and Solar Flare) vs. CrossCurrents (Thetis and Vortex) Moonstrike defeated Vortex with PALADIN DROP at 1:59 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Moonstrike survived a quick WATERY GRAVE from CrossCurrents, then proceeded to throw Vortex out of the ring, smash him into the ring post, roll him back in the ring, and hit his finisher.
GWF Galaxian Title tournament – 1st round match K.O. Keller vs. Santon Santon defeated K.O. Keller with SPIKE PILEDRIVER at 4:17 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: In a surprisingly violent match that saw most of the action occurring out of the ring, Santon was able to get the advantage by smashing Keller’s leg into the ring post and then hit his finisher.
GWF Galaxian Title tournament – 1st round match Torin Caelum vs. Screw Torin Caelum defeated Screw with CAELUM’S GRIP at 2:40 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Screw was distracted by a disguised fan in the front row who revealed himself as his longtime POW rival Jack Hood. His head not in the match, Screw was easy prey for Caelum. But it still took 3 consecutive CAELUM’S GRIPs by Caelum to secure victory. Following the match, Hood jumped the barrier and attacked the fallen Screw in the ring while Caelum was celebrating his victory outside the ring with the fans. Upon noticing the attack in the ring, Caelum would chase Hood out of the ring and into the arms of approaching security personnel and law enforcement officers, who cuffed Hood and placed him under arrest.
GWF Galaxian Title tournament – 1st round match Morpheus vs. Ricken Prince Morpheus defeated Ricken Prince with TRIP TO HADES at 11:44 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The match surprisingly stayed inside the ring for its duration. Morpheus hit consecutive TRIPs TO HADES for the win.
GWF Galaxian Title tournament – 1st round match Omega vs. Commander Sam Omega defeated Commander Sam with TOMAHAWK THRUST at 10:29 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: An impressive performance by Sam, whose youthful aggressiveness would eventually turn to his disadvantage outside of the ring and lead to his defeat. As Omega and Sam were shaking hands after the match, Dorado Sundown attacked both men from behind. Sam was thrown over the top rope through a ringside table, and Omega was about to get treated similarly before Morpheus chased the attackers away.

This fed looks really well put together... The match summaries are tight, giving plenty of detail without bogging the audience down... The title tournaments are progressing nicely with both Morpheus and Omega advancing to the next round, as expected... Would have liked to see KO Keller move forward, but Santon can be quite unpredictable...
I've never played these early years myself because they are not offered online, but I've really enjoyed getting to know the characters through the feds of others as well as the COTG Wiki (which is truly an invaluable resource)... Looking forward to the next installment... Great work!

Thanks, pariah! As you can see, the format of your reboot fed has inspired my own reboot.
I'm planning on keeping things fairly close to the Classics and Early Classics booklets, with a few twists.
Santon has always been successful for me in my prior Feds, and he's off to a good start here as well.

GWF Ringside Screw was uninjured but furious after the sneak attack by his old POW rival Jack Hood. Screw refused to press charges for assault against Hood, and has asked the GWF not to press charges against Hood for trespassing. Instead, he wants to get his revenge against Hood the only way he knows how: inside the ring. However, Hood is not under contract with the GWF, and Omega has refused to grant Screw his wish, believing that Hood’s finisher, THE RIPPER (a move involving Hood biting his opponent with his metallic teeth, which usually leads to injury), is an illegal, dangerous move that will never be allowed in the GWF. Morpheus agrees, as he doesn’t wish to see a reenactment of POW brutality in a GWF ring, but he also understands that finding a way to book this match could be a huge deal for the GWF…
Commander Sam escaped being thrown through a table by Dorado Sundown with only a few scrapes and bruises. Veteran K.O. Keller has offered Sam his assistance, which Sam has accepted, and a match between the two teams has been signed for GWF 3. Blacklash and Bullwhip don’t care who they wrestle, as, in their eyes, every victory is a step closer to controlling the entire GWF. However, Omega and Morpheus are their end goal.
Omega and Morpheus, meanwhile, are trying to keep their focus on their upcoming GWF Galaxian Title tournament semifinal matches on GWF 3. The full card for GWF 3 will be:
(1) Omega vs. (5) Santon – GWF Galaxian Title tournament semifinal (2) Morpheus vs. (3) Torin Caelum – GWF Galaxian Title tournament semifinal (2) Defiance vs. (3) The Mensans – GWF Tag Team Title tournament 1st round match Dorado Sundown vs. K.O. Keller and Commander Sam Ricken Prince vs. Torpor
The Omega/Santon semifinal match should prove interesting. Santon is a masked man of mystery… no one, not even Omega and Morpheus, knows his name or where he is from. Omega, in fact, named him Santon. Can the loner continue his surprising run?

GWF 3 (2074.03) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
Ricken Prince vs. Torpor Ricken Prince defeated Torpor with BOW TO THE PRINCE at 6:47 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Ricken Prince controlled the match from start to finish, but still resorted to using his low blow finisher to achieve victory.
Dorado Sundown (Blacklash and Bullwhip) vs. K.O. Keller and Commander Sam K.O. Keller defeated Blacklash with THE TEN COUNT at 7:51 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: As the match began, Sam was distracted by his Cygnusian rival Torpor (embarrassed by his earlier defeat), and the two proceeded to brawl at ringside for the duration of the match. Keller was able to fight off multiple double team attempts by Dorado Sundown and, following a timely appearance ringside from Morpheus (who did nothing but stand with his arms crossed), hit the distracted Blacklash with his finisher for the win.
GWF Tag Team Title tournament – 1st round match Defiance (Blood and Jammer) vs. The Mensans (Cordsar and Trotarus) Trotarus defeated Blood with a flap jack at 3:05 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Early quick tags by The Mensans, along with some well-timed yapping from Cordsar when Blood attempted to make a comeback, led to the surprisingly early pinfall by Trotarus.
GWF Galaxian Title tournament – semifinal match Morpheus vs. Torin Caelum Torin Caelum defeated Morpheus with CAELUM’S GRIP at 15:14 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: A thrilling back-and-forth match in which Morpheus absorbed quite a bit of punishment (4 tokens). Dorado Sundown came to ringside during the match, mimicking Morpheus’ appearance during their earlier match, until Omega appeared to chase them backstage.
GWF Galaxian Title tournament – semifinal match Omega (w/ Morpheus) vs. Santon Omega defeated Santon with TOMAHAWK THRUST at 4:41 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Morpheus appeared at ringside with Omega to prevent any further distraction from Dorado Sundown. Some early back-and-forth action, but an Omega reversal of a Santon move put the masked loner on his heels for the remainder of the match.

GWF Ringside The hatred between Earth and Cygnus has found its way into the GWF. While both Commander Sam and Torpor had kept those feelings restrained during their GWF 1 encounter, Torpor’s embarrassment at the hands of Ricken Prince led him to take out his frustrations on Sam, adding yet another page to the Earth/Cygnus wars. A rematch between the two men has been signed for GWF 4.
Jack Hood paid his fine and was released from prison following his trespassing arrest for his actions during GWF 2. When asked about his actions, Hood said that he and Screw have unfinished business from their POW days. In regards to Omega and Morpheus’ unwillingness to sign him to compete in the GWF amidst concerns about his finisher THE RIPPER, Hood stated, “They could muzzle me for all I care. I just want that freak [Screw] in the ring.”
Blood was not amused by Cordsar’s constant trash-talking during their tag team contest at GWF 3, which led to Defiance’s defeat at the hands of The Mensans. He and Jammer intend to quiet the brash Mensan by defeating him and his partner in the ring… whether or not the Mensans are holding the tag titles.
Dorado Sundown has made quite an impression early on in the GWF, by attacking Commander Sam and antagonizing Omega and Morpheus. They also intend to win both the Galaxian title and the Tag Team titles, and will start their move towards the latter with a match against CrossCurrents at GWF 4. Are they stretching themselves too thin?
The upcoming card at GWF 4 will be:
Omega vs. Torin Caelum – GWF Galaxian Title tournament final Paladin Power vs. The Mensans – GWF Tag Team Title tournament final Screw vs. Ricken Prince Dorado Sundown vs. CrossCurrents Commander Sam vs. Torpor
The end of 2074 will see the first GWF Galaxian and Tag Team champions crowned. Who will win the titles?

Dorado Sundown might have made a lasting impression with the blindside assaults, but that loss against Sam and Keller is going to hurt their overall standing in the division...
Both title tournament finals should be exciting... Caelum already scored a bit of an upset by getting past Morpheus... Can he do it again?
Really like how you're playing out the Hood vs Screw angle... They better hand out ponchos to the fans at ringside when these two meet because muzzle or no muzzle, it's gonna get bloody...
Excellent work, my friend... Looking forward to more!
