KO Keller is moving onto face Torin Caelum for the big one... And he deserves it, beating Morpheus TWICE!! Only a very questionable DQ decision prevented him from going undefeated... Very cool... Looking forward to his title shot! Definitely an impressive performance by Keller... I found it pretty ironic that his loss occurred due to his losing his cool, after his previous advice to Commander Sam to let his emotions get the best of him. Easier said than done, apparently...

GWF Ringside The round robin tournament at GWF 8 was a resounding success with the fans, the media, and the wrestlers themselves, so it’s no surprise that Omega and Morpheus have already expressed interest in making this an annual event. The co-owners both were exhausted and more than a little beaten up after the tournament, but should be ok. Morpheus announced he may miss a card or two, but this is due to some talent scouting trips that he already had planned, as the GWF hopes to expand the roster either later this year or early in 2076 should the company’s early successes continue. Prior to leaving, he kept mum about where his travels will be taking him, but several eyewitnesses say that he was spotted on Maffei II shortly before publication of this report.
After further discussions, Omega and Morpheus have decided not to allow a “POW rules” style match for at least the next two matches in the Jack Hood/Screw best of 7 series. Morpheus, however, seems to be swaying more towards allowing one to occur later in the series.
Omega was asked about the low blow that Morpheus used to aid in his victory against him at the tournament. Omega, while not angered by it, didn’t seem surprised by it, either. “We’ve fought many battles against each other over the years… it wasn’t the first time it occurred, and it probably won’t be the last.”
Blood and Jammer are looking forward to challenging Paladin Power for the GWF Tag Team titles at GWF 10. First, they have some unfinished business with Dorado Sundown, and will be squaring off with Blacklash and Bullwhip in singles matches at GWF 9.
Tournament winner K.O. Keller will challenge GWF Galaxian champion Torin Caelum at GWF 9. When asked about his interactions with Santon during the tournament, he echoed Caelum’s previous comments on Santon: “He’s not making many friends here.”
Matches signed for GWF 9 are:
Torin Caelum vs. K.O. Keller – GWF Galaxian Title match Jack Hood vs. Screw – best of 7 series, match 3 (Screw up 2-0 in the series) Blacklash vs. Jammer Bullwhip vs. Blood The Mensans vs. CrossCurrents

GWF 9 (2075.05) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
The Mensans (Cordsar and Trotarus) vs. CrossCurrents (Thetis and Vortex) Cordsar defeated Vortex with MENSAN LOCK at 22:53 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: CrossCurrents returned to action with a more aggressive high flying style, which took the Mensans by surprise. This excellent match featured all four men in the ring many times, including at the end of the match… Thetis leapt off the top turnbuckle onto Trotarus outside of the ring after another interference attempt, as Cordsar hit the Mensans’ finisher on Vortex in the ring for the win.
Bullwhip (w/ Blacklash) vs. Blood (w/ Jammer) Bullwhip and Blood were both disqualified at 3:12 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Both tag team partners got involved at multiple times, and the referee finally had enough as all four men were brawling outside of the ring using any object they could get their hands on. As the referee signaled for the disqualification, Blacklash and Jammer slid into the ring, and the next match began!
Blacklash (w/ Bullwhip) vs. Jammer (w/ Blood) Blacklash defeated Jammer with SUNDOWN at 13:16 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: While Blood and Bullwhip bloodily brawled outside of the ring the entire match, Blacklash and Jammer had an excellent match inside the ring. Blacklash dominated most of the match, only for Jammer to gain the advantage from timely interference from Blood. The referee, instead of disqualifying Jammer for his partner’s interference, admonished Blood and attempted to remove him from the ring. With the referee distracted, Bullwhip chose this moment to interfere and hit Jammer with the ring bell, allowing his partner to hit his finisher for the win.
Jack Hood vs. Screw – best of 7 series, match 3 Jack Hood defeated Screw with Bloody Knuckles at 5:14 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The match was a technical masterpiece for the first 3:13. Ah, who are we kidding… it was the bloody brawl we’ve come to expect with these two enemies. Jack Hood was actually disqualified at the 3:13 mark for slamming Screw on the announcer’s table. However, Morpheus, back from his scouting trip, came to ringside and announced that the result was not what the fans wanted and not what the two competitors wanted. With nods from both Jack Hood and Screw, Morpheus announced for the match to continue, to the fans’ delight. Hood would win after a combo superkick into a whirlwind Bloody Knuckles knocked Screw to the mat for the pinfall.
GWF Galaxian champion Torin Caelum vs. K.O. Keller – GWF Galaxian Title match K.O. Keller defeated Torin Caelum with THE TEN COUNT at 17:06 K.O. Keller wins the GWF Galaxian Title Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: An exciting match, marred by interference late by Santon. The two men attempted simultaneous running clotheslines, inadvertently sandwiching the referee between them. With the referee down in the ring, both men fell to the outside from the force of the collision. Santon chose this moment to come to ringside and hit Keller with a steel chair. Santon then moved to attack Caelum, only for Caelum to block the attempt, steal the chair, and chase him around, into, and out of the ring, before Santon finally left the ringside area. Noticing the injured referee, Caelum knelt to revive him. As he did so, his opponent, now recovered from the chair shot by Santon, returned to the ring and grabbed Caelum from behind. Caelum was ready, and turned to clothesline Keller, which Keller ducked and then hit the turning Caelum with his finisher. The now revived referee counted the pinfall for the win and title change.

That was a superb main event, despite the interference by Santon... It was very to see Keller recover from that chairshot and become the new Galaxian champion...
The Hood vs Screw series turns in another brutal affair, as expected... The refs should be instructed to show more leniency anytime these two face off... Pleased that Hood won this time make things more interesting...
Another excellent show!

GWF Ringside Report Omega might not be 100% pleased with Morpheus intervening in the Jack Hood/Screw match at GWF 9 to overturn the referee’s decision to disqualify Jack Hood, but he and Morpheus have agreed to “somewhat loosen” the disqualification rules in regards to the remaining best of 7 series matches. Screw currently leads the series 2-1, with match 4 to occur at GWF 10.
While still a few events away, Omega and Morpheus have decided to celebrate the GWF’s first year successes with a special anniversary show, on which both titles will be defended. The show, to be named Galaxi-Cade, will be held at GWF 13. Matches will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.
Morpheus refused to offer any specifics about the results of his talent search, but mentioned that he found a couple of suitable candidates whose contract statuses with their current employers would allow them to begin competing in the GWF early next year. He stressed that the new wrestlers have not signed to compete as of yet. When questioned about his being spotted on Maffei II early in his scouting trip, Morpheus simply smiled.
Neither new GWF Galaxian champ K.O. Keller nor the previous champ Torin Caelum were pleased with Santon interfering in their title match at GWF 9, seeing his interference as yet another refusal to show respect in the ring. Caelum has challenged Santon to a match at GWF 10, and Keller has agreed to meet the winner of that match in his first title defense at a later show. Santon quickly accepted Caelum’s challenge.
Commander Sam has dominated his rival Torpor in the ring thus far during their rookie year, but the Cygnusian has gotten the last laugh on Sam with several post-match attacks. The two will square off in another singles match at GWF 10; however, Sam has also challenged Torpor to find a partner for a special tag team match at GWF 11, which Torpor has accepted. Sam has announced his partner as his mentor, current GWF Galaxian champion K.O. Keller, who will also be in his corner for the match at GWF 10. Torpor has been a bit of a loner during his GWF tenure thus far... will he be able to find a tag partner and, if so, will that partner be in his corner at GWF 10?
GWF Tag Team champs Paladin Power will be defending the titles against Defiance at GWF 10, with Blacklash and Bullwhip banned from the arena. Blood and Jammer will be focused on their title shot, but are still intent on taking the fight to Dorado Sundown, who got the better of them in singles matches at GWF 9. Moonstrike and Solar Flare, meanwhile, have quietly dominated the tag team scene in the GWF thus far. Will their early success continue?
The matches signed for GWF 10 are:
Paladin Power vs. Defiance – GWF Tag Team Title match, with Dorado Sundown banned from the arena Torin Caelum vs. Santon Jack Hood vs. Screw – best of 7 series, match 4 Omega vs. Ricken Prince Commander Sam (w/ K.O. Keller) vs. Torpor (w/ ?)

GWF 10 (2075.06) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
Commander Sam (w/ K.O. Keller) vs. Torpor Commander Sam defeated Torpor with STAR SPANGLED BANNER at 9:54 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Torpor began the match without anybody in his corner. However, Santon would walk to ringside during the match and, paying no attention to the match in the ring, eventually start brawling with Keller. Keller would win that brawl by hitting Santon with a steel chair, gaining a measure of payback for Santon’s attack on him at GWF 9. Sam would once again get the win over his rival after an excellent back-and-forth match.
Omega vs. Ricken Prince Ricken Prince defeated Omega with ROYAL DECREE at 6:01 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Omega dominated the early going, but was knocked off the turnbuckle onto the floor by Prince, appearing to suffer an injury. Prince would then go on the offensive both in and out of the ring and finish Omega off with consecutive ROYAL DECREEs for his biggest victory thus far in his GWF career.
Jack Hood vs. Screw – best of 7 series, match 4 Screw defeated Jack Hood with FREAKISH FACE SLAM at 13:23 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Brawl, check. More action outside of the ring than in the ring, check. Foreign objects used, check. Both men bloodied, check. Screw garnered the victory after reversing a turnbuckle maneuver by Hood and landing first a boot to the face, then a lariat, and finally his finisher for his third win in the series.
Torin Caelum vs. Santon Torin Caelum defeated Santon with CAELUM’S GRIP at 3:42 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Santon looked to be feeling the effects of the chair shot he received earlier from K.O. Keller, as Caelum defeated him rather easily after a missed cross body block off the top turnbuckle.
GWF Tag Team champions Paladin Power (Moonstrike and Solar Flare) vs. Defiance (Blood and Jammer) – GWF Tag Team Title match Moonstrike defeated Blood with PALADIN DROP at 9:03 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Another successful title defense by the Titans in a hard-fought match. With his partner involved with Jammer across the ring, Moonstrike capitalized off a missed ropes move by Blood to hit a flying leg scissors/superkick/PALADIN DROP trio of maneuvers to gain the pinfall for the champs.

Screw goes up 3-1 in the series... Will Hood try to pull some kinda stunt to level the field? Or will this play out on the straight and narrow? And what happens when it's over? Very interesting development, to be sure...
Paladin Power looking like true champs with that strong defense against Defiance... And I enjoyed Caelum's victory over Santon... Especially how reference was made to Keller's earlier chairshot...
Great work!

Pariah Thanks... it's going to be interesting, that's for sure. I've got a booking adjustment to make, as Omega's upset loss threw my plans for the upcoming Galaxi-Cade anniversary card for a loop... those pesky dice! Lol I hope to have both a Ringside Report and my next card rolled tonight. Stay tuned!
