GWF Ringside Report Omega suffered a minor injury during his match at GWF 10 against Ricken Prince and is expected to miss the next two cards. However, he is expected back for the anniversary Galaxi-Cade show at GWF 13. Ricken Prince, meanwhile, has challenged Morpheus to a match at GWF 11, which Morpheus has accepted.
Santon may not have paid any attention to Torpor when he showed up ringside during the Cygnusian’s match against Commander Sam at GWF 10 to brawl with K.O. Keller, but he nonetheless has signed on to be Torpor’s partner at GWF 11 to face Sam and Keller. Whether he’ll actually make a worthwhile tag partner for Torpor remains to be seen.
Paladin Power continued their domination over the GWF tag team ranks at GWF 10. They will face their next challenge at Galaxi-Cade, where they will defend the titles against the winner of a match between Dorado Sundown and The Mensans to take place at GWF 11.
Matches signed for GWF 11 are:
Jack Hood vs. Screw – best of 7 series, match 5 (Screw ahead 3-1) Morpheus vs. Ricken Prince Commander Sam and K.O. Keller vs. Torpor and Santon Dorado Sundown vs. The Mensans Defiance vs. CrossCurrents

A must win for Hood coming up... The crowd wants this series to continue... Without a doubt! Most definitely... planned this to go at least 6 matches, so if it ends earlier I'll have to make some adjustments. Omega's loss and injury already forced me to change my original Galaxi-Cade plans.

GWF 11 (2075.07) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
Defiance (Blood and Jammer) vs. CrossCurrents (Thetis and Vortex) Blood defeated Vortex with SCAR TISSUE at 1:22 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: A quick, aggressive victory by Defiance, who cut a promo after the match and expressed their displeasure with being excluded from the #1 contender match to be held next.
Dorado Sundown (Blacklash and Bullwhip) vs. The Mensans (Cordsar and Trotarus) Blacklash defeated Cordsar with RUSTLER’S STAMPEDE at 7:54 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Blacklash and Bullwhip isolated Cordsar in the ring for the entirety of the match, attacking Trotarus on the apron every time his partner came close to making a tag. Following their victory, Blacklash made fun of Defiance’s earlier promo, which led to Blood and Jammer running out for a ringside brawl.
Commander Sam and GWF Galaxian champion K.O. Keller vs. Torpor and Santon Commander Sam defeated Santon with STAR SPANGLED BANNER at 34:31 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: An exciting match that featured good teamwork from Sam and Keller and none from Torpor and Santon. Santon refused to tag in at multiple times during the match, leaving Torpor at the mercy of his opponents. However, whenever Torpor would fight back and gain the advantage over his opponents, Santon would tag in by slapping Torpor on the back. Torpor would finally have enough and tripped Santon late in the match, only to receive a fist to the face from Santon in return. This distraction, however, proved enough for Sam to hit his finisher on Santon for the victory.
Morpheus vs. Ricken Prince Morpheus defeated Ricken Prince after countering a sunset flip attempt at 20:16 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Ricken Prince has a great showing against Morpheus, proving that he may very well belong in the hunt for the GWF Galaxian title. Both men survived multiple finisher attempts by their opponent. Prince would get caught by Morpheus while attempting a sunset flip, with Morpheus using the ropes to help balance himself and instead drop straight down on top of Prince for the pinfall.
Jack Hood vs. Screw – best of 7 series, match 5 Screw defeated Jack Hood with a middle rope clothesline at 26:31 Screw wins the best of 7 series (4-1) Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Featuring a surprising amount of in-ring action in addition to the brawling seen in the first 4 matches in the series, the match was dominated for the most part by Hood. However, he was unable to put away his opponent, who survived multiple pinfall attempts during the match. Screw would eventually get the advantage and get the pinfall and victory after a series of maneuvers left Hood reeling. However, immediately upon the referee’s hand striking the mat for a third time, Screw was attacked by Blacklash and Bullwhip. Hood would recover to make it a 3-on-1 attack on Screw. Defiance would try to assist, only to receive a similar beating. As Morpheus and security personnel attempted to gain order, and as medical personnel attended to Screw, Blacklash grabbed the announcer’s microphone and yelled at Morpheus, “Me and Bullwhip told you almost a year ago that we were taking over this Fed… but we never said it would be only the two of us doing so!” As Morpheus realized that Hood’s “unfinished business” with Screw was only a ploy by Hood, the three conspirators raised each others’ arms in the ring.

Haha! Even though we were all hoping for the series to go the distance, it was kinda cool to watch Screw claim another win... However, Hood gets the last laugh and now we get to watch the original Regime Change in action... Great stuff!

Pariah Yeah, this is my big deviation from the Classics/Early Classics storyline, as I wanted to keep Dorado Sundown active for longer than the official storyline... and siding them with Jack Hood made sense. My hope was for Jack to win the series, because then the reveal would have occurred during the subsequent title match. However, the dice not only favored Screw, but in a much quicker than anticipated manner, so I needed to move up the reveal. We'll see how this plays out, I'm as curious as you are!

GWF Ringside Report The entire GWF is still reeling from the revelation at GWF 11 that Jack Hood and Dorado Sundown have been conspiring behind the scenes since the GWF’s inception. Morpheus, in particular, feels responsible for these events, as it was he who convinced Omega that signing Jack Hood would be to the GWF’s benefit. Morpheus has already challenged Hood to a match at the upcoming Galaxi-Cade show at GWF 13, which Hood quickly accepted.
Dorado Sundown, meanwhile, became the #1 contender to the GWF Tag Team Titles due to their victory over The Mensans at GWF 11 and will receive their title shot against Paladin Power at Galaxi-Cade. As a prelude to the title match, Blacklash and Bullwhip will take on the champs in singles matches at GWF 12.
Screw will be out of action for a couple of cards but escaped serious injury after the post-match assault by Jack Hood and Dorado Sundown. Instead of being thrilled over his winning the best of 7 series and receiving an upcoming title shot for the GWF Galaxian Title (to occur after Galaxi-Cade), he is furious over being used as a ploy in Jack Hood’s getting signed by the GWF and has vowed revenge on Hood and his co-conspirators.
In addition to the two matches noted earlier, another match has been officially signed for Galaxi-Cade: GWF Galaxian champion K.O. Keller will defend against #1 contender (and former champ) Torin Caelum.
Matches signed for GWF 12 are:
Morpheus vs. Torin Caelum Blacklash vs. Moonstrike Bullwhip vs. Solar Flare Ricken Prince vs. Commander Sam Santon vs. Torpor – grudge match!
