This got me to dig out and reorder some things from downey games. glad to have gotten most all of the main wrestlers that came through dallas, but i do have some problems. most of the von erichs are rated to low. most of the heels have better over all numbers. second too much math. third, in tag bouts not enough info to make a good write up The Texas set is probably their worst effort.

I think that was the first UQ set I bought from them and I never used it. Very bad.

Really haven't enjoyed this game. Has brought me little joy. I also don't like that every set is formatted differently. Simple things like having some cards with height/weight on and some without really annoys me.
Some of the random acts are quite fun, but it feels like I'm doing maths homework rather than playing a game sadly.

Honestly, TV Pro is the better of their wrestling games but it's hold-by-hold rather than just a results thing. I couldn't get into UQW either, it felt like flipping a coin except a lot less fun.

Yeah, the Ultra Quick works better for things like basketball. I like the idea for wrestling but I ultimately need some more meat to a game. I think Face to the Mat did a better job of not quite being hold for hold but giving you more of a feel for a match.

A number of stronger guys have -25 for Size and 0 for Strength. I think anyone about the size of Lugar or Davey Boy Smith should have about a 25-50 Size and 50 STR. Also I agree about the tag matches. I usually end up rolling at random to see who gets the pin on whom. In addition, I think the Pre-match should be rolled first while the skill chart should be rolled afterward to reflect a highlight move. Other than that, it's a nice quick game. Too bad Giant Baba and Ox Baker aren't in either set. Does anyone know what set they're in? I'm curious about the 85 and 86 sets and not sure what the difference is. Finally, I emailed Jeff to ask if he's doing a vintage set with guys like Gotch and Lewis. He says he's thinking about it but nothing's set in stone, so I made my own of Gotch, Lewis, Pesek, Turk, and several others. I'd like to add Great Gama and George Tragos to the mix but I don't know much about them.

There is for sure a card or more for Ox Baker.I think in the Memphis Set.For Giant Baba im not sure. Looked at the Vintage Pro Cards. If you divide the Overall Rating through 62,then in most cases you get the Rahl Rating of the Card we have in Legends.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, the vintage pro cards don't have any of the classic wrestlers like Gotch and Lewis. After going to the Downey boards, I saw how they made blank cards, so I made my own for a bunch of classic wrestlers, plus a few other of my favorites, like Ox and French Angel.
