Hello
Has anyone played any of these games? I'm struggling to find out how the game mechanics works and whether buying one of these games would be a decent supplementary product to play alongside the Filsinger stuff.

Hi Joe  ) Vintage Pro is a addition to Ultra Quick(some changes,but almost the same rules for both). The Focus is more on the Classic Wrestlers. Interesting Game Idea.With a few dice rolls you can do a whole match.Not move by move.Just the Result.Afterwards you do some more rolls to see what happened in the match. |

Interesting. Do any of the games have the classic wrestlers like Gotch, Hackenscmidt, etc.? Also can you create wrestlers rather easily? Finally, are they just one on one matches or are tag and special matches included as well?

I download a few of the E Books for ultra quick. It is pretty much a results generator with loads of pre/during and post match modifiers. The are very few details on the wrestlers. One set I have doesn't even list their weight. It could be fun, but it's just reams and reams of paper as I couldn't get cards posted to the UK.
It would be very easy to create wrestlers. It would take minutes.

I bought the Game and same Expansion Sets.AWA,WWA,WCCW,WWE,WCW and ECW.It was a blind buy right from the start.I looked around on the Internet,but couldnt find much informations about it.
Now in an instant,i have about 700!! Wrestlers.Also Managers,Valets and some Midgets.
And i still dont know what to think about it.
Lets take a Football(Soccer) Game for Example.There is a big Game,but you are not able to watch it.What would you do?
At least check out on the Internet about the result of the game.Most of us would be a bit pleased after that.Some others would look futher for a more detailed match report.Who scored the Goals.Was somebody sent of the Field after a Foul?
And thats very equal with Ultra Quick Wrestling.You dont play a whole match move by move.So its much faster to play.You could do a whole PPV in 20-30 minutes.

I'm curious about the wrestling and hockey rules. A few months back, I tried creating quick wrestling rules using another game system. It worked ok but I had trouble with anything other than singles matches, and with bigger stars like Andre, I was rolling close to 12d6.
Something fast with basic results could be fun.

This got me to dig out and reorder some things from downey games. glad to have gotten most all of the main wrestlers that came through dallas, but i do have some problems. most of the von erichs are rated to low. most of the heels have better over all numbers. second too much math. third, in tag bouts not enough info to make a good write up
