If Dallas wins at least either Game 3 or Game 4 then Game 5 will be next Saturday at T-Mobile Arena the night before Double or Nothing takes place at T-Mobile Arena next Sunday. I can watch most of Game 3 but I will be at an Indy show during most of Game 4 on Thursday.

Missed Game 2 as I don't currently subscribe to a streaming service with ABC and cancelled my ESPN+ subscription at the end of the season. Turned off tonight's game with Vegas up 4-0 in the 2nd. Figured rolling out some matches online was better than watching a blowout.

Sounds good. Unless you just pulled a Heidi. Man, I sure hope not.

Sounds good. Unless you just pulled a Heidi. Man, I sure hope not. No, the Knights won 4-0 so I didn't miss anything. I have had it happen more so in football then in hockey where I turned off a blowout only for a big comeback to happen.

Yeah, the game was such a blowout by Vegas early that I actually finally went to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 tonight (which I think is my favorite of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and also one of my favorite overall MCU movies period, a damn good movie!)

Love the art on the goalie's mask. Looks like Vegas may be getting their 2nd championship.

First part of the Stanley Cup is set. We're all just living in Matthew Tkachuk's world at this point.
Some interesting stats shown before tonight's game. Teams down 3-0 in any round of the playoffs: 4-200 (now 4-201). Teams down 3-0 in the Conference Finals: 0-47 (now 0-48). Last team in the playoffs to overcome a 3-0 hole - 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs in the Stanley Cup Finals.

The Dallas Stars lost their captain Jamie Benn as he has been suspended for 2 games for that dirty crosscheck on Mark Stone (seriously, WTF was that?) early in Game 3 which gave Vegas a 5-minute penalty and put the game out of reach early.
Game 3 on Tuesday was definitely a low point overall for the Dallas Stars as they got beat decisively outright, their captain was ejected in the opening minutes for his indefensible actions, and their fans embarrassed themselves by throwing so much debris onto the ice that the referees had to end the 2nd Period early.
Although I won't be able to watch Game 4 (or a potential Game 5 on Saturday) as I will be at Indy shows taking place here in Las Vegas as part of Double or Nothing Weekend, I hope Vegas can end this series in Game 4.

The Vegas Knights are sharpening up their brooms.
In times like these I think back to something Bill Laimbeer did and said. I cannot remember the specifics but just the general idea and that is enough. I believe it was in a playoff series with Boston who the Pistons kept getting knocked out of the playoffs by. The Pistons had 3 wins and it was not game 7 so the did not need to win that particular game to advance. Bill brought a scythe into the locker room. He said on the farm growing up they would come across snakes. They would put their boot on the snake but the job was not done. He said when you have a snake down you need to cut off the head to finish it. That is what they needed to do. Go out and cut off the head of the snake by winning the game. So, here is to the Knights cutting the head off of the snake.

Cut. Off. The. Friggin. Head!
Come on Knights. Do not let the Stars become the first team to come back from a 0-3 deficit in a Conference Finals.
