What is going on in the Vegas net? If things get any worse they may have to dress and sign Air Bud and start him in net. First they lose Marc-Andre Fleury to a concussion and right now there is no time table for his return. He is with the team during their current road trip, but as of today he hasn't skated with the team yet and is working out on his own. Next Malcolm Subban went down and will be out at least two more weeks. Then Oscar Dansk went down with a knee injury and won't be back for the rest of there current road trip. sadly all three men went down as they were playing well. I honestly can't remember the last time a team faced this kind of issue so early into the season, let alone during the first year of their existence. yeah it has been tough losing all 3 goalies (who were all playing really well) and this East Coast trip has been rough, goo to at least see the Knights win today in Ottawa

Vegas is now 0-1 in Shoot Outs this year, having lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 in a Shoot Out Tonight. Maple Leafs are a good team, Knights lost but still impressive as a first year expansion team without its top 3 goalies to take Toronto to a shootout on the road. Knights are playing with passion without any expectations and are a fun team to watch. I would like to see the Knights avenge this loss against Toronto at T-Mobile Arena on December 31st. But I like to avoid to avoid The Strip on New Years so I think the next game I am going to is against Nashville on January 2nd.

Atleast its a 12:30 in the afternoon game...but yeah best to avoid the strip on NYE at all costs.

What the hell happened tonight?
GOLDEN NIGHTS 2 @ OILERS 8
The high flying Oilers beat the pants off the Golden Nights tonight. I really hope Fleury can get back in the game soon as he is greatly needed to help games like from happening again.

I really hope Fleury can get back in the game soon as he is greatly needed to help games like from happening again. a road game, on the road as that brutal last East Coast trip showed the Golden Knights truly do play like the expansion team they are at home, for some reason (it has been speculated some visiting teams may have caught the "Vegas flu") the Golden Knights play much better than their first year expansion status would indicate they should agreed on Fleury, he has been skating with the team in practice recently so it appears he will be back soon

I flew out of Houston yesterday and (after a brief stopover in ironically Las Vegas) made it to Seattle for Thanksgiving. Tonight I am going to walk about 2 blocks over and watch the Golden Knights on TV at Seattle's only hockey bar The Angry Beaver (I think I posted a link to the place last year here) which is owned by a guy born in Winnipeg but raised in Toronto. Looking forward to eating some poutine fries tonight while watching the Golden Knights!

it has been speculated some visiting teams may have caught the "Vegas flu" Ha! I love the term. That is a nice home ice advantage.
