Wow. Very sad. People complained about 2016. 2017 is already looking way worse for the wrestling world. At least a guy like George Steele lived a full life. I hate hearing about the younger deaths. Eddie Guerrero's death was a really heart crushing one for me for that reason.

Sorry to read about George. Spent an afternoon with him a few years ago and he couldn't be a nicer guy. Passed his contact info along to Tom at GalactiCon. Not sure that's what lead to the singing but when I spoke to him he was certainly open to it. Fun guy. He will be missed.

As a kid, George Steele always brought a smile to my face. Who doesn't feel good thinking about George and "Mine". Now he's dancing with JYD again. RIP Animal.

So sad George has left us, but glad he is home. Hope Nicole Bass found the peace she sought in life.
