Filsinger Games presents ETERNAL CHAMPIONS: Tournament of Immortals! This Promoter Prime exclusive offers GWF fans an opportunity to jump right in and play, no matter what game year you are currently playing!
Quietly flying under the radar in a cosmos ruled with strict time travel laws, a secret society on Kronos schedule a series of special events called the Tournament of Immortals. The tournaments are very rare (sometimes only happening once every few years), making both attending and participating in a tournament an incredible honor for fans and wrestlers alike.
The mysterious and exclusive group of aliens called the Kings of Kronos (you, the Promoters!) collect an exclusive group of COTG wrestlers from a colossal pool of fighters spanning 30 plus years of galactic wrestling history! The participants can be anyone from any COTG era, and year!
Want to pit the best of 2087 vs the best of 2132? You can do it! Want to give our 30th Anniversary cards a shot vs. some of the all-time greats? Mix and match any years and eras you want! No one promoterโs tournament will be the same!
Various promoters use various tournaments during the Tournament of Immortals. Here a few ideas you can try in your own fed! As always, the style of tournaments and participants are up to you, promoter!
Cetus Classic Single Elimination Tournament: Pit 16 (or more) of the most iconic COTG wrestlers in history vs. each other in a classic tournament! Use Titan Death Rules to ensure a clear winner.
Rigel Round Robin Tournament: Choose 16 (or more) wrestlers from any GWF year, and put them into four round robin tournaments. The four winners of each tournament advance onto a final 4 man round robin tournament. Use Titan Death rules. Head to head tie-breakers.
Hydra Hardcore Tournament: Just like it sounds! Pick a series of brutal special hardcore matches and find out who the toughest man in the galaxy is!
Scorpi Spotlight Battle Royal: Unlike traditional battle royals, in a Spotlight Battle Royal, two wrestlers go one on one at a time until one of them eliminates the other. Then two more opponents square off in the middle of the ring until one throws the other over the top rope, and so on. Wrestlers in the battle royal surround the ring like lumberjacks while individual battles take place. This pattern continues until there is a winner.
Rules for a Scorpi Spotlight Battle Royal:
*Pick X amount of wrestlers and begin my pairing them off into a series a one on one matches (say 20 wrestlers, 10 matches).
*Run one match at a time until one man has been eliminated. Once he has, the winner goes out of the ring until he fights again in the cycle. The loser is eliminated from the battle royal.
*Wrestlers are eliminated when they are pinned, submitted, or thrown out of the ring (when an opponent is thrown out of the ring, he should roll his PIN, using the same rules as a pin fall attempt).
*Assign new match ups after each cycle. Get creative!
*Use Titan Death Rules.
