Yes, I use low level cards from the WWF and JCP '85 bootleg sets. Mr X, Ligon, Deaton, etc..

RWF presents “March Madness”

Live on PPV from Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Connecticut

The program opens with a video package set to “Sirius” by The Alan Parsons Project. All of the matches are highlighted, but the four first round RWF World Championship tournament matches are focused upon the most.


Announcers Bill Mercer and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan welcome fans from their table at ringside. Mercer talks about Gampel Pavilion being named after Harry A. Gampel, a philanthropist who marched alongside Martin Luther King Jr. Heenan says who cares and proclaims his excitement for Red Bastien to be booted out of the RWF. Mercer rolls his eyes and pitches it over to Howard Finkel to get the action started!

“The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase vs. Bobo Brazil

• The action starts off heavy! Both men countering each other left and right!

• Brazil reverses out of a swinging neckbreaker and nails a big hammer punch!

• DiBiase bails outside to recover. Brazil follows and body slams him on the floor!

• Back in the ring, Brazil works a grinding hammerlock. DiBiase refuses to submit!

• Brazil connects with a Coco Butt and makes the cover! DiBiase kicks out at 2!

• Brazil bounces off the ropes looking for a leg drop, but DiBiase rolls out of the way! DiBiase quickly kicks Brazil and executes a vertical suplex on the big man! DiBiase rolls through for the cover! Brazil gets the shoulder up!

• DiBiase applies the Billion Dollar Dream! Brazil holds on with the encouragement of the crowd!

• The action spills to the floor where a wild brawl erupts around ringside!

• Back in the ring, Brazil connects with another Coco Butt! DiBiase barely gets the shoulder up!

• Brazil lands a 3rd Coco Butt and DiBiase is a bloody mess! Brazil quickly makes the cover and DiBiase is unresponsive!

Winner: Bobo Brazil

Afterwards, several referees had to help the bloody, exhausted DiBiase to the back.

RWF World Championship Tournament – First Round: Gorgeous George (w/Cherie Dupre) vs. “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers

• Both men are feeling each other out early on. Rogers looks to work a headlock, but George counters out. George looks for the figure four leglock, but Rogers breaks free.

• George grabs some Georgie pins from Cherie and runs towards Rogers! Rogers nails him with a jumping knee smash and the Georgie pins fly everywhere!

• Rogers back to the headlock. George slips free and slaps him across the face!

• Rogers gains the upperhand, hits a quick dropkick, and makes the cover! George kicks out!

• George answers with a dropkick of his own! Rogers blocks a snapmare, spins George around, and executes a piledriver! Rogers hooks the leg! George kicks out again!

• George bails to the floor to recover. Cherie distracts Rogers allowing George to sneak up and smash Rogers against the apron!

• George brings the “Nature Boy” back in the ring and sinks on the spinning toe hold! Rogers withstands the pain!

• George transitions to the figure four leglock! Rogers holds on!

• George goes back to the spinning toe hold! Rogers will not quit!

• A frustrated George small packages him and grabs the tights for leverage! Rogers gets the shoulder up!

• Rogers rallies and makes another pinfall attempt after a piledriver! George kicks out and bails to the floor again! Rogers follows, but George sends him into the ring steps!

• Between the ropes once more, George sinks on the spinning toe hold again! Rogers refuses to lose!

• George looks for a kneedrop, but Rogers rolls out of the way! Rogers shocks George with a series of dropkicks and makes the quick cover! George can’t break free!

Winner: “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers

Afterwards, Cherie attends to her man while Rogers is slow to get to his feet.


Backstage “Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews “Playboy” Buddy Rose and “The Walking Condominium” King Kong Bundy. Bundy interrupts Okerlund right away to tell Rose that his services are finished and he is moving on to bigger opportunities. Rose is rendered speechless as Bundy walks off-screen.

Loser Leaves RWF: “Playboy” Buddy Rose vs. Red Bastien

• The crowd is all over Rose from the start!

• Rose desperately goes after Bastien with forearm smashes! Rose looks for a back body drop, but Bastien answers with a big boot!

• Bastien hits an atomic drop and goes for the pin! Rose kicks out!

• Bastien waits for Rose to rise and hits another atomic drop! Bastien covers with authority and Rose is pinned!

Winner: Red Bastien

Red Bastien jumps over the rail and celebrates in the crowd. Heenan stands at the announce table with his mouth hanging open in shock. Rose, realizing that he is banned from RWF for the rest of the year, throws a monumental fit mid-ring.

RWF World Championship Tournament – First Round: The Destroyer vs. Harley Race

• Race blocks a knee and executes a swinging neckbreaker! Race goes for the flash pin, but Destroyer kicks out at 1!

• Both men struggle before Race hits another swinging neckbreaker! Race hooks the leg! Destroyer kicks out again!

• Race sinks on the Indian deathlock! Destroyer refuses to give up!

• Destroyer makes it to his feet and eats a nasty piledriver! Race makes the cover and Destroyer can’t escape!

Winner: Harley Race

Intermission: Bill Mercer and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan narrate highlights from the first half of the card. Heenan laments about the loss of Rose from the RWF. Mercer focuses on Brazil’s redemption and the unusually one-sided matchup between Destroyer and Race.


“Mean” Gene Okerlund attempts to interview The Destroyer as he makes his way to the back. Destroyer covers his head with a towel and turns the interview down.

The Valentines (Johnny & Greg) vs. The Sandman & Sabu

• Sandman and Greg start things off for their respective teams. Mercer talks about the growing animosity between the two.

• Sandman schoolboys Greg early on, but Greg breaks free! Sandman holds his fingers up to signify that he was a second away from the win.

• Both men brawl on the floor. Sandman nails Greg in the gut with a steel chair! The ref lets it go!

• Sabu in now and sets up a chair looking for the triple jump moonsault! Greg rolls out of the way and Sabu crashes to the mat!

• Johnny tags and attempts to capitalize on the hurt Sabu. Sabu recovers quickly and ends up hitting the triple jump moonsault on Johnny! Johnny kicks out!

• Sandman tags back in and hits a pair of Hardcore DDTs! Johnny gets the shoulder up each time!

• Johnny swats away a lazy dropkick attempt from Sandman and makes the tag to his son!

• Greg runs in, but Sandman shocks him with a Heinekanrana and hooks the leg! Greg kicks out!

• Sabu back in and nails Greg with an Arabian Facebuster! Greg barely gets the shoulder up!

• Sandman downs Greg with a Hardcore DDT and pins him!

Winners: The Sandman & Sabu

Ox Baker begins to make his entrance for the next match. A bandaged up Ted DiBiase comes out, whispers something to Baker, and hands him a large envelope. Baker looks into the envelope then shakes his head yes and returns to the back. Mercer explains on commentary that it looks like DiBiase just bought his way into the tournament!

RWF World Championship Tournament – First Round: “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka vs. “The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase

• Snuka is a man possessed! DiBiase is bouncing all over the ring after head butts and chops!

• DiBiase surprises Snuka with a quick powerslam!

• DiBiase sinks on the Billion Dollar Dream! Snuka gets a hand on the ropes!

• DiBiase pulls him back to mid-ring and hooks on the Billion Dollar Dream again! Snuka fights out!

• Both men brawl around ringside until Snuka gains the advantage!

• Back in the ring Snuka flattens DiBiase with the Superfly Splash! King Kong Bundy rushes down to ringside to distract the referee from making the count!

• A clearly agitated Snuka shouts at Bundy! DiBiase chopblocks the “Superfly” and hooks on the figure four leglock! Snuka manages to turn it over as the crowd cheers on!

• Snuka connects with a headbutt and a backbreaker! Snuka goes for the pinfall victory, but DiBiase somehow manages to kick out!

• DiBiase’s bandage has come off from the headbutt and he is bleeding again!

• “Superfly” climbs to the high rent district again! DiBiase kicks the ropes and crotches Snuka!

• DiBiase sinks the Billion Dollar Sleeper on deep! Snuka is out!

Winner: “The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase

King Kong Bundy enters the ring to help the bloody and battered DiBiase to his feet. DiBiase cannot even stand on his own accord, but is laughing through his crimson mask at his manipulation of the tournament.

The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) vs. The Valiant Brothers (Jimmy & Johnny) w/Captain Lou Albano

• The Road Warriors run wild at the onset! Jimmy is down after a spike piledriver!

• Hawk continues the assault with a gorilla press slam and a gut-wrench suplex! Hawk makes the cover! Johnny and Animal jump into the ring, but the referee blocks Animal! Johnny drops an elbow on Hawk and reverses the pin by putting Jimmy on top! Hawk kicks out!

• Jimmy nails Hawk with the top rope elbow! Animal leaps in to break up the pin!

• Animal finally gets the hot tag! Animal quickly hits Jimmy with his signature power slam! Johnny breaks up the pinfall attempt!

• Hawk leaps off the top and nails Johnny with a flying clothesline! Hawk immediately goes for the cover, but Albano hops up on the apron to distract the referee! Johnny low blows Hawk and tags in his brother!

• Jimmy carefully uses a foreign object behind the referee’s back! The crowd boos in protest!

• The Valiants crush Hawk with a double clothesline! Hawk gets the shoulder up at 2!

• The action spills outside! Johnny gives Animal a spinning neckbreaker onto a chair!

• Back in the ring, Johnny hits two more spinning neckbreakers on Animal! Animal powers out of the cover each time as the crowd cheers him on!

• Jimmy lands another super elbow! Animal barely gets the shoulder up!

• Animal manages to make the defensive tag to Hawk! The crowd roars as the action spills to the floor again! Hawk sends Jimmy flying headfirst into the post!

• Back in the ring, the Road Warriors decapitate Jimmy with the Doomsday Device! Animal hooks the leg!

Winners: The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal)

The victorious Road Warriors climb the corner turnbuckles and pose for the cheering crowd. Suddenly, The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff rush the ring and attack the tandem from behind! Moments later, The Killers Bees run out to make the save as Sheik & Volkoff make a hasty retreat!


A video hypes up the upcoming main event. It includes footage from “The Beginning” of Bockwinkel pinning Gotch in the 6-man main event and then footage from “Desire” of Bockwinkel defeating Kowalski and viciously attacking him after the bell.

MAIN EVENT

RWF World Championship Tournament – First Round: Nick Bockwinkel vs. Frank Gotch

• Gotch attempts to catch Bockwinkel off-guard with a sunset flip! However, Bockwinkel saw it coming and hooks the leg for a flash pin! Gotch kicks out at 1!

• Bockwinkel immediately locks on the figure four leglock! Gotch grabs the bottom rope!

• A frustrated Gotch ignites a wild ringside brawl! Heenan leaves the announce position for a few moments in fear!

• Gotch works over Bockwinkel with a guillotine choke and an overhead wristlock. Bockwinkel reverses the wristlock and rolls up Gotch! Gotch powers out!

• Bockwinkel latches on the Bockwinkel Sleeper! Gotch holds on for an extended period, but suddenly collapses to the mat as the ref calls for the bell!

Winner: Nick Bockwinkel

Bockwinkel celebrates on the entrance ramp as the ref attends to Gotch. Gotch wakes up and can’t believe what has happened. The dejected Gotch holds his head in his hands as the show fades to black.

RWF presents “Wrestle Weekly TV” Episode #8

The show begins with a video recapping the major events from the “March Madness” PPV including Brazil’s big win over DiBiase, Bastien sending Rose packing from the RWF, and the winners from the first round of the RWF World Championship Tournament.


Bonus footage airs from “March Madness” following the Loser Leaves RWF match. Security is shown backstage removing a screaming “Playboy” Buddy Rose from the locker room. Rose gets forced outside still wearing his wrestling trunks in the cold Connecticut weather.


Announcers Bill Mercer and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan welcome viewers from ringside. Mercer addresses the crowd to announce that the next PPV will be “Gold Rush” on April 2nd! The semifinal tournament matches will be Nick Bockwinkel vs. Harley Race and “The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase vs. “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers! The victors will then meet in the main event to crown the first ever RWF World Champion! Mercer explains that RWF officials are giving the four remaining competitors the month off to make sure they are 100% for their matches. RWF officials have also ordered a strict no-contact rule between the four competitors. Heenan suddenly looks horrified, drops his microphone, and runs away from ringside. The camera pans over where a crazed “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka walks with purpose over to Mercer sweating like crazy and still wearing the same attire from “March Madness”. Snuka repeatedly calls out for DiBiase and hijacks the program until RWF officials regain control!

Gorgeous George (w/Cherie Dupre) vs. Jet Greenspan

• The referee checks both men for foreign objects – George tells him to get his filthy hands away! Mercer mentions George was impressive in his hard-fought loss against Rogers at “March Madness.”

• Greenspan attempts a top wristlock, but George counters and latches on the Gorgeous Grip!

• George grabs a Georgie pin from Dupre for a face rake, but Greenspan slaps it away!

• George gains the advantage with a fingernail rake and then executes a long airplane spin before making the cover! It’s over!

Winner: Gorgeous George

Mercer address the crowd again and says he had another announcement to make before Snuka came out earlier. “Gold Rush” will also be the night where the first ever RWF Tag Team Champions will be crowned! The champions will be determined in a four-corner elimination match between The Road Warriors, The Valiant Brothers, The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff, & The Killer Bees! In the weeks leading up to “Gold Rush” the competitors will meet each other in singles competition beginning with tonight’s main event where Killer Bee #2 meets Nikolai Volkoff!

The Sandman vs. Ed Blackburn

• Sandman blocks an eye gouge attempt and downs Blackburn with the White Russian Leg Sweep!

• Sandman lifts Blackburn back up and pummels him with forearm shots before hitting the Hardcore DDT! Sandman lights up a cigarette as he covers Blackburn!

Winner: The Sandman

Afterwards, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine steps out onto the entrance ramp with a microphone in hand. Greg explains that since Sandman thinks he is the most extreme competitor in RWF – he thought he would do Sandman a favor and find him some competition. Ox Baker walks out and stands beside Valentine. Sandman laughs in the ring as he continues to puff on his cigarette.


A pretape promo from The Road Warriors airs. Animal states that they will claim the tag team championships at “Gold Rush”. Hawk proclaims that they have already put down both Sheik/Volkoff and The Valiant Brothers – and that they will even swat down a couple bees if they have to.

MAIN EVENT

Killer Bee #2 (w/Killer Bee #1) vs. Nikolai Volkoff (w/The Iron Sheik)

• Volkoff sings the Russian national anthem before the contest.

• Volkoff with an eye rake and a head butt early! Killer Bee #2 gets viciously dropped throat first onto the ropes!

• Killer Bee #2 avoids a leg drop! Killer Bee #2 works a figure four leglock!

• Volkoff regains control with a double thrust to the throat and sinks on the Russian Bear Hug! Killer Bee #2 refuses to submit!

• The action spills to the outside where Volkoff executes a powerslam on the floor! Volkoff quickly jumps back in the ring and orders the referee to count! Killer Bee #2 barely makes it back into the ring in time!

• Sensing the advantage, Volkoff performs the Backbreaker Drop! Killer Bee #1 hops on the apron to distract the referee from counting the pin!

• Killer Bee #2 avoids a running lariat and nails a big dropkick! Killer Bee #2 quickly climbs to the top rope and hits a picture perfect moonsault onto Volkoff! The crowd erupts!

• Before the referee can make the count, the timekeeper rings the bell. Mercer explains that the television time limit has expired and this match has been declared a draw!

DRAW

Afterwards, The Iron Sheik hops into the ring and stomps on Killer Bee #2. Killer Bee #1 rushes in to aid his partner. The show fades to black as both teams brawl it out! Thanks for watching!

The show opens with the final moments of last week’s main event as Killer Bee #2 and Nikolai Volkoff ends in a draw. Killer Bee #1 and The Iron Sheik jump into the ring and a brawl ensued. A graphic pops up advertising tonight’s television main event of Jimmy Valiant taking on Road Warrior Animal!


Bill Mercer and Bobby “The Brain” Heenen welcome viewers from ringside. Mercer announcers that RWF officials have signed The Sandman vs. Ox Baker for “Gold Rush” after the events from last week. Heenan insists he does not want to sit ringside for that matchup.


A pretape promo from The Iron Sheik airs. Sheik runs down the other tag teams and calls them jabronis. “Iran & Russia: Number One. Road Warriors, Valiants, & Bees: Hock-Tooey!”

“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka vs. Bob Crabapple

• Crabapple bounces off the ropes looking for a back elbow! Snuka leapfrogs and lays him out with a chop!

• Snuka body slams Crabapple and then climbs to the high-rent district! Mercer mentions that Snuka wants DiBiase in the worst way. Snuka lands the Superfly Splash!

Winner: “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka

Backstage “Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews Red Bastien. Bastien talked about how great it was to boot “Playboy” Buddy Rose out of the RWF and thanked the fans for their support. Gorgeous George and Cherie Dupre walk up and interrupt the interview. Dupre sprays Chanel #10 towards Okerlund. George says that everyone should be talking about his impressive victory on television last week. Dupre primps George’s hair as he stares at himself with a hand mirror. Bastien tells George that if he is so sure of his abilities then George will have no problem meeting him in the ring at “Gold Rush”. George’s eyes grow wide before he recomposes himself and tells Bastien that it will be his honor to teach such a crude, disrespectful brute a lesson. Okerlund pitches things back to the ring.

Ox Baker vs. Eric Xavier

• Xavier surprises Baker with a quick headscissors in the early moments!

• Xavier attempts a body slam, but is unable to lift up Baker! Baker sends him to the mat with a running lariat!

• Baker hoists up the youngster and hits a shoulder breaker. Baker goes for the pin! Baker has second thoughts and pulls Xavier up at the count of two!

• Baker hoists him up again and executes a backbreaker! This time Baker maintains the pin!

Winner: Ox Baker

Backstage “Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews Harley Race in regards to his upcoming tournament bout at “Gold Rush” against Nick Bockwinkel. Race quickly reminds everyone of his quick victory over The Destroyer at “March Madness” and claims that he sent Destroyer packing and the man is too embarrassed to even show up in a wrestling ring anymore. Race said that he and Bockwinkel are alike in a way – they both sent their enemies packing from the company. Okerlund asks Race about his gameplan going into the matchup. Race ignores the question and warns Bockwinkel that it will be a long night and that he isn’t a pushover like Killer Kowalski and Frank Gotch.


A video airs with the camera panning over a forest with hundreds of trees. The video abruptly ends and the show cuts back to the announcers near ringside. Mercer shakes off the apparent technical difficulties and pitches it back to Howard Finkel for the main event!

MAIN EVENT

Jimmy Valiant (w/Johnny Valiant & Captain Lou Albano) vs. Animal (w/Hawk)

• Jimmy rushes in for a shoulder block and crashes to the mat after bouncing off of Animal!

• Jimmy ducks down for a back body drop! Animal catches him ducking and nails a piledriver!

• Animals follows with his signature powerslam!

• Albano hops up on the apron to distract the referee from counting the pin! Animal grabs Albano and forces him into the ring! Animal grabs both Albano and Jimmy and gives them a double noggin knocker!

• Animal follows up with another powerslam! Jimmy barely gets the shoulder up!

• Hawk and Johnny start to brawl at ringside! Mercer mentions that things are starting to get out of control.

• Animal nails a third powerslam! As the ref is distracted with Hawk & Johnny brawling at ringside, The Iron Sheik hits the ring! Animals notices him coming and sends him flying over the top rope with a clothesline!

• The Valiant Brothers and The Road Warriors have a pier 6 brawl around ringside! The ref counts both men out of the ring and signals for the bell!

Double Countout

Mercer and Heenan thank the viewers for watching and then quickly abandon their announce positions as the Valiants and Road Warriors continue their brawl!

The show opens with the closing seconds of last week’s main event where Jimmy Valiant vs. Animal ended in a double countout and a wild brawl.


Bill Mercer and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan welcome viewers from ringside. Mercer states that this is a special double episode of “Wrestle Weekly TV” with two feature matches: The Iron Sheik vs. Hawk as well as Killer Bee #1 vs. Johnny Valiant. Heenan receives word through his earpiece that RWF officials have signed Gorgeous George vs. Red Bastien for “Gold Rush”.

Red Bastien vs. Tom Pedretti

• Bastien reverses out of a hammerlock and responds with a flying head scissors to the delight of the crowd! Bastien hooks the leg! Pedretti kicks out at 2!

• Bastien sinks in the abdominal stretch. Mercer talks about Bastien’s under-the-radar success in RWF.

• Bastien hits Pedretti with the atomic drop and picks up the victory!

Winner: Red Bastien

A pretape promo with “The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and “The Walking Condominium” King Kong Bundy airs. DiBiase claims he is a genius in regards to his manipulation of the RWF World Championship Tournament. DiBiase arrogantly informs Snuka that he’s too busy to meet him at “Gold Rush” and orders Bundy to squash him like a bug!

Sabu vs. Robert Maple

• Sabu with a pre-match prayer in the corner. Maple catches him with a lariat!

• Out on the floor, Sabu angrily tosses Maple into the guardrail!

• Sabu scales the turnbuckle, but Maple cuts him off and slams him to the mat!

• Maple leaps from the high-rent district with a crossbody attempt! Sabu catches him with a perfectly timed dropkick and makes the cover! Maple barely kicks out!

• Sabu grabs a ringside chair and then performs the Triple Jump Moonsault!

Winner: Sabu

After the match, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and Johnny Valentine approach on opposite sides of the ring in order to trap Sabu. Seconds before the Valentines would have entered the ring, Bobo Brazil rushes out from the dressing room and makes the save! Brazil and Sabu stand back-to-back in the ring ready for action as the Valentines slowly retreat.


A video airs again with the camera panning over a forest with hundreds of trees. The footage zooms in on two lumberjacks sawing a tree. Suddenly the show cuts back to the announcers at ringside. Heenan questions if the RWF production crew has been drinking.


A pretape promo from The Sandman airs. Sandman admitted that most of the locker room is afraid of Ox Baker and what his dreaded heart punch is capable of. Sandman cracks a beer, pours it down his throat, and smacks the can against his forehead until he is bleeding. Sandman warns Baker that he is afraid of no man and tells him to get ready to take things to the extreme.

The Iron Sheik (w/Nikolai Volkoff) vs. Hawk (w/Animal)

• Hawk takes down Sheik early with a gorilla press slam and goes for the cover! Volkoff hops on the apron to interfere, but Animal pulls him down! Sheik kicks out at 2! The referee ejects both Volkoff and Animal from ringside!

• Hawk nails Sheik with a Flying Clothesline! Sheik kicks out again!

• Undeterred, Hawk hits another Flying Clothesline! Captain Lou Albano strolls down to ringside and distracts the referee from making the pin! On the opposite side of the ring, The Valiant Brothers double-team Hawk and then pull Sheik on top in a pinning position! Hawk gets the shoulder up! The ref notices Albano and The Valiant Brothers at ringside and throws them out!

• Sheik and Hawk brawl at ringside smashing each other against the steel steps! The referee counts them both out!

Bill Mercer addresses the crowd to let them know that RWF officials have signed the final two matches for “Gold Rush” next Sunday: King Kong Bundy vs. Jimmy Snuka and The Valentines vs. Sabu & Bobo Brazil. Heenan scoffs at the mention of Sabu and Brazil teaming together.


“Mean” Gene Okerlund interrupts with some news just received from the Far East. Contrary to what Harley Race said last week, The Destroyer and Frank Gotch are still wrestling and are currently touring Japan. Okerlund said that his sources report that they have even formed a successful tag team and want fans to know that they will be back in the RWF sometime in the near future.

“The Walking Condominium” King Kong Bundy vs. Brian Fowers

• Fowers attempts a go-behind and can’t lock his arms across Bundy’s frame! Bundy shoves him off and gouges his eyes!

• Fowers blindly stumbles into the corner! Bundy rushes in with an Avalanche! Bundy orders the referee to count to 5!

Winner: King Kong Bundy

A pretape promo airs from The Valentines with Ox Baker standing in the background. Greg says that after “Gold Rush” Sandman and Sabu will be ashamed to show their faces in RWF again and will be begging to go back to the bingo hall.

Bobo Brazil vs. Andrew McCormick

• Brazil works the youngster with a front facelock.

• McCormick calls for a test of strength! Brazil sends him flying across the ring!

• Brazil nails a big hammer punch and follows with a Bobo Body Slam! It’s all over!

Winner: Bobo Brazil

“Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews Nick Bockwinkel backstage. Okerlund mentions that Bockwinkel has certainly been drawing the ire of the fans. Bockwinkel states that the fans are jealous because he has been putting their so-called heroes to shame. Bockwinkel boasts that he is undefeated in RWF and that the World Championship is going to look spectacular sitting atop the fireplace at his Beverly Hills home.


In another area backstage, a camera crew catches up with “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers and attempts to ask him about his match at the PPV. “The Billion Dollar Man” walks up before Rogers can respond. DiBiase holds up his hands and says that he has no intention of violating the no contact rule. However, DiBiase states he has a proposition that Rogers might be interested in. DiBiase shoves the cameraman away as him and Rogers are seen continuing down the hallway having a conversation.

MAIN EVENT

Johnny Valiant (w/Jimmy Valiant & Captain Lou Albano) vs. Killer Bee #1 (w/Killer Bee #2)

• Bee #1 grabs a guillotine – Johnny responds with a kick to the groin!

• Johnny ducks down for a back body drop – Bee #1 grabs the hair and yanks Johnny to the mat! Mercer mentions that this is getting out of hand in a hurry.

• Bee #1 whips Johnny to the corner and runs in, but Johnny gets a foot up! Bee #1 rolls to the outside to recover where Jimmy slams him viciously into the ringpost! The referee calls for the bell!

Winner: Killer Bee #1 by DQ

The Killer Bees and The Valiant Brothers start to fight. The Road Warriors soon join the mix as well as The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. RWF officials and young wrestlers hit the ring in attempts to break up the huge brawl. Mercer mentions that things have to be settled at “Gold Rush”!


The show ends with a video package hyping up all the matches for next Sunday’s “Gold Rush” PPV.

Dark Match: Papa Shango vs. Barry 0
Shango waves around a smoking skull in front of the bewildered Barry O. Shango dominates the action connecting with a falling powerslam and then a Voodoo Driver for a nearfall. On the outside, Shango viciously throat drops his opponent on the steel guardrail. Barry O. is barely able to crawl back into the ring before Shango takes him out with an inverted shoulder breaker.
Winner: Papa Shango

The show officially opens with a video package previewing the card set to “Golden Years” by David Bowie. Announcers Bill Mercer and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan enthusiastically welcome viewers from ringside. Mercer states that the first-ever RWF World Champion and RWF World Tag Team Champions will be crowned tonight in beautiful Las Vegas. Mercer explains that the card will open with the tournament semifinal matches and the winners will meet in the main event final!

RWF World Championship Tournament Semifinal: Nick Bockwinkel vs. Harley Race
Feeling out process early on as both men are cautious of making the first mistake. Race surprises Bockwinkel with a quick vertical suplex and floats over for the nearfall. Bockwinkel rolls out on the apron to recover. Race follows him, but Bockwinkel executes a nasty looking back suplex on the apron edge. Action continues in the ring as both men are countering each other left and right. Race nails a diving headbutt and piledriver for consecutive nearfalls. Bockwinkel slips out of a shoulder breaker attempt and executes a bridging back suplex followed by a piledriver for consecutive nearfalls of his own. Sensing blood in the water, Bockwinkel has to lock on the figure four leglock twice before Race submits.

RWF World Championship Tournament Semifinal: “The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase vs. “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
DiBiase looks confident as he offers Rogers a large envelope before the opening bell. Rogers waves the offering away as the referee rings the bell. Rogers off to a spectacular start with a hip toss followed by a series of dropkicks for an early nearfall. DiBiase catches Rogers ducking for a back body drop and lays him out with a DDT. DiBiase locks on the Billion Dollar Dream, but Rogers battles out. Rogers attempts a comeback before DiBiase grabs his trunks and sends him headfirst into the turnbuckle. DiBiase capitalizes by locking on the figure four leglock, but Rogers makes it to the ropes. Out on the floor, DiBiase removes padding to expose the cement before executing a swinging neckbreaker. DiBiase crawls back into the ring as the referee is forced to count-out Rogers.
Winner: “The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase by count-out.

“The Walking Condominium” King Kong Bundy comes out to celebrate DiBiase’s victory in the tournament. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka runs out to crash the party as the ref rings the bell for the next match!

“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka vs. “The Walking Condominium” King Kong Bundy
Snuka hits the ring and immediately sends DiBiase flying out to the floor with a dropkick. Bundy blasts Snuka with a right hand and scores with a running powerslam. The action spills to the outside where a crazed Snuka continually slams Bundy’s head against the announce table. Back in the ring, Snuka climbs to the high rent district before Bundy shakes the ropes sending the “Superfly” crashing to the mat. Bundy follows with an elbow drop and his Avalanche finisher. Bundy demands the 5-count and gets it.
Winner: “The Walking Condominium” King Kong Bundy

Afterwards, Ted DiBiase jumps into the ring to aid Bundy in his continued assault on Snuka. Bruiser Brody runs out from the locker room to make the save! DiBiase and Bundy quickly make their exit as Brody husses around the ring before checking on Snuka.

Gorgeous George (w/Cherie Dupre) vs. Red Bastien
George orders Dupre to profusely spray fragrance in the direction of Bastien. With Bastien distracted, George spins him around and attempts a small package with a firm grip on the tights. Bastien easily kicks out. Bastien rolls outside and warns Dupre about interjecting in the match. George rushes up behind Bastien for a sneak attack, but Bastien sees him coming and hip tosses him right onto the announce table into the lap of Bobby Heenan. A wild brawl erupts between the two men at ringside. Dupre sprays Bastien directly in the eyes with Chanel #10 and the ref calls for the bell.
Winner: Red Bastien by DQ

Bill Mercer and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan review the results so far during intermission and hype up the Bockwinkel vs. DiBiase main event tournament final. Heenan starts to gush about Bockwinkel before a familiar video interrupts. The camera pans over a forest with hundreds of trees. The footage zooms in on two lumberjacks sawing a tree. The downed trees are loaded onto a massive truck. Suddenly, the show cuts back to the announcers without explanation. Heenan throws a fit and asks Mercer what in the hell is going on.

The Sandman vs. Ox Baker
Both men exchanging heavy offense from the start. Baker nails a running lariat before Sandman connects with a running dropkick. Baker gains control with a blatant choke. Sandman attempts to whip Baker to the ropes, but Baker blocks and executes a shoulder breaker. Baker follows with a knee drop to the skull and makes the pin.
Winner: Ox Baker

After his victory Baker grabs hold of Sandman’s Singapore cane and goes to town on his downed opponent! Baker gets a devastating beating in on Sandman before Sabu and Bobo Brazil storm the ring. Baker laughs and takes the Singapore cane with him as he exits. The Valentines make their entrance for the next match.

Sabu & Bobo Brazil vs. The Valentines (Greg “The Hammer” Valentine & Johnny Valentine)
Sabu and Greg start things off. Greg lands a flurry of punches and some signature Valentine chops. The action spills to the floor where Sabu sends Greg into the post. Sabu nails a picture perfect crossbody off the top rope for a nearfall. Sabu looks for the victory and sinks on the camel clutch. Johnny jumps in, pulls Sabu off Greg by the hair, and then boots him directly in the crotch. Sabu goes down like a ton of bricks as the referee signals for the bell. The Valentines exit laughing as Brazil helps his partner.

4 Team Elimination Match to crown RWF World Tag Team Champions:
The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) vs. The Killer Bees vs. The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff vs. The Valiant Brothers (Jimmy & Johnny) w/Captain Lou Albano
Under Albano’s direction, the Valiants use underhanded tactics to gain control early. After a thumb to the eye, Johnny gets a nearfall on Bee #2 with a spinning neckbreaker. Jimmy attempts to send Bee #2 into the post, but Bee #2 reverses and sends Jimmy instead. The Bees connect with the Bee Sting, but Jimmy gets the shoulder up. Animal enters the match and works over Jimmy with the camel clutch. Jimmy extends a leg and manages to defensively tag Johnny. Johnny thumbs Animal in the eye and tags in Sheik. Sheik picks up a nearfall following a vertical suplex. Animal no sells another vertical suplex and tags in Hawk. Hawk comes in like a house of fire and Sheik is soon pinned after a Doomday Device.
Eliminated – The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff
Johnny and Animal square off again. Animal executes a big overhead slam and makes the cover. Hawk and Jimmy jump into the ring. With Hawk blocked by the referee, Jimmy drops an elbow on the back of Animal’s head and reverses the pin. Animal powers out of the cover. Johnny tags in Bee #1 who quickly locks Animal in the sleeper. The referee raises and drops Animal’s hand three times.
Eliminated – The Road Warriors
The crowd and announcers are shocked after The Road Warriors are eliminated. Albano pounds the mat and encourages his men. The Valiants isolate Bee #1 and take him down with a big double clothesline. Johnny makes the cover as Jimmy prevents Bee #2 from making the save.

DiBiase is noticeably distracted constantly looking over his shoulder worrying about Snuka or Brody. DiBiase grabs a headlock and Bockwinkel counters right into a back suplex. Bockwinkel sinks on the figure four leglock, but DiBiase grabs the bottom rope to break it. Bockwinkel locks on his patented sleeper. It looks like DiBiase is fading, but he gets to the ropes again. Bockwinkel continues the assault with a piledriver and another back suplex. DiBiase is slow to get to his feet. Bockwinkel sends DiBiase crashing to the canvas with a knee smash and hooks the leg. DiBiase is out!

Golden confetti and balloons rain from the rafters as the referee raises Bockwinkel’s hand in victory. Bill Mercer asks on commentary who is capable of stopping the undefeated Bockwinkel. Heenan stands up and applauds in admiration. Mercer thanks viewers for watching and informs them to watch the next episode of “Wrestle Weekly TV” to see the official championship coronation ceremony!

RWF presents “Wrestle Weekly TV” Episode #11

The show opens with still-shots recapping the results from last Sunday’s “Gold Rush” PPV. Announcers Bill Mercer and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan welcome viewers from their spot at ringside. Heenan excitedly calls this the greatest night in RWF history as Nick Bockwinkel will be honored with an official championship coronation ceremony. Mercer tosses it over to Howard Finkel to get the action started.

The Killer Bees vs. Jet Greenspan & Richard Murphy
Mercer talks about how impressive the Bees were at “Gold Rush” specifically mentioning that they were the team responsible for eliminating The Road Warriors. Greenspan reverses an Irish whip to the corner and follows up with a running clothesline. Bee #1 blocks a hip toss attempt and hoists up Greenspan in an airplane spin for a nearfall. Bee #2 tags in and the Killer Bees down Greenspan with a double atomic drop. Bee #2 leaps off the top rope and connects with a crossbody directly into the pin.
Winners: The Killer Bees

“Mean” Gene Okerlund interrupts the broadcast with late breaking information from the RWF news desk. Okerlund informs viewers that following the heinous actions of Cherie Dupre at “Gold Rush”, Red Bastien is out of action recovering from an apparent eye injury. The Sandman will also be on the shelf for an undetermined amount of time after a vicious attack from Ox Baker at the same event. Okerlund says he’s been trying to get ahold of The Road Warriors, but the tag team has been uncharacteristically MIA after their shocking loss at “Gold Rush”.

Ox Baker vs. Patrick Foss
Baker makes his way to the ring carrying The Sandman’s Singapore cane. Foss leaps up for a head scissors, but Baker cuts him down in mid-air with a clothesline. Baker executes a backbreaker and tosses the youngster to the floor. On the outside, Baker hits Foss with a Singapore cane aided Russian legsweep. Foss barely beats the count back into the ring. Baker catches a weakened Foss with a knee drop to the head and picks up the victory.
Winner: Ox Baker

A pretape promo from The Valiant Brothers and Captain Lou Albano airs. The Valiants mug for the camera with their new RWF Tag Team Championships. Albano calls his men tag team juggernauts who will hold the titles for the rest of their lives. “There ain’t two bums in the whole wide-world who will rip the titles away from my Valiants,” Albano states.

“The Walking Condominium” King Kong Bundy w/ “The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase vs. Timothy Sierra
Sierra attempts a top wristlock. Bundy answers with an eye gouge and shoots Sierra to the turnbuckle. Bundy squashes his opponent with an Avalanche and orders the ref to count to five.

Following the contest, DiBiase enters the ring and locks Sierra in the Billion Dollar Dream. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka and Bruiser Brody storm down the aisle! DiBiase and Bundy quickly exit as Brody paces around the ring and Snuka gives them a death stare.

A pretape promo airs from The Iron Sheik. Sheik declares his intentions to enter singles competition in RWF. “Next week, Sheik makes American jabroni tap to the Camel Clutch!” “Iran- numba one! USA –hack phooey!”

Bobby Heenan proudly stands in the ring for the championship coronation ceremony. A red carpet has been rolled across the ring and the RWF World Championship sits in a beautiful glass display case midring. Heenan introduces Nick Bockwinkel who walks out dressed in an immaculate suit. Heenan asks Bockwinkel how it feels to be an undefeated world champion. Bockwinkel beams to the booing crowd and says that it feels deserved. “I am the living embodiment of what every man in the locker room wishes he could one day become. My mind is superior, my body is superior, and my wrestling ability is otherworldly.” Heenan asks Bockwinkel if he could have the honor of placing the championship around his waist. Bockwinkel nods and turns around, facing the audience as he removes his sportsjacket. Heenan goes to open the display case when the crowd roars as Killer Kowalski makes his return and enters the ring behind Heenan! Heenan turns around and immediately falls on his butt begging for mercy. Bockwinkel laughs with his back still turned to the happenings – mistakenly thinking the crowd is erupting for him. Kowalski boots the display case and sends it crashing to the mat with the championship still inside. Bockwinkel turns around with a look of horror. Kowalski manages to lock on the Claw for a few seconds on the backtracking Bockwinkel before Bockwinkel stumbles through the ropes and falls out to the floor. Heenan rescues the championship and throws it to Bockwinkel on the outside before making a hasty retreat. Kowalski lifts up the display case in the ring and tosses it at Bockwinkel who narrowly avoids it. Bill Mercer announcers to viewers that the returning Killer Kowalski will battle Nick Bockwinkel in an unsanctioned non-title cage match at the “Retribution” PPV on May 7th! Bockwinkle shakes his head no and clutches his championship as he walks up the ramp. Thanks for watching!

RWF presents “Wrestle Weekly TV” Episode #12

“Mean” Gene Okerlund opens the program from the RWF news desk. Okerlund states that RWF World Champion Nick Bockwinkel is refusing to appear for future events after what took place last week. Okerlund reads a statement from RWF officials to inform Bockwinkel that if he doesn’t show up to “Retribution” on May 7th for the non-title unsanctioned cage match with Killer Kowalski then RWF will strip him of the championship!

Bill Mercer interviews Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Johnny Valentine, and Ox Baker at ringside. Baker stands behind the Valentines resting Sandman’s Singapore cane on his shoulder. Greg says that they have already run one bingo hall bum out of RWF and are going to finish the job at “Retribution.” Johnny challenges Sabu and Bobo Brazil to find a partner and meet them in a Captain’s Match where his son Greg will captain against Sabu. Greg laughs and doubts that Sabu and Brazil have any friends. The Valentines then enter the ring for the opening contest.

Greg blindsides Gentry with a running clothesline. Johnny holds Gentry in their corner as his son delivers loud Valentine chops that echo throughout the studio arena. Greg sinks on the figure four leglock and Gentry taps immediately.
Winners: The Valentines (Greg “The Hammer” Valentine & Johnny Valentine) w/Ox Baker

A pretape promo airs with Gorgeous George and Cherie Dupre. George informs Dupre about Red Bastien’s eye injury and Dupre pretends to cry. “Good riddance Bastien-boy, RWF is better off without a rapscallion like you!” says George. Dupre spritzes George with Chanel #10 to end the segment.

“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka w/Bruiser Brody vs. Ed Blackburn
Blackburn leaps over Snuka with a sunset flip. Snuka manages to grab the legs and turn it into a pinning combination. Blackburn barely kicks out as Mercer mentions that Snuka defeated Blackburn with that exact move on Episode #6. King Kong Bundy enters the studio and begins a slugfest with Brody. Ted DiBiase runs in, but Snuka catches him on the apron and sends him back down to the ringside floor. Snuka lands a diving headbutt and follows it up with a devastating Superfly Splash for the victory.
Winner: “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka w/Bruiser Brody

Afterwards, Snuka climbed to the top rope once more and dived onto Bundy, DiBiase, and his own partner Brody at ringside. RWF officials quickly broke up the ruckus.

Bill Mercer informs views that another big contest has been signed for the upcoming “Retribution” PPV on May 7th. RWF Tag Team Champions The Valiants will be putting their titles on the line against the returning Frank Gotch and The Destroyer. Bobby Heenan asks how RWF officials decided that those idiots deserve a title shot. Mercer explains that Gotch/Destroyer have been impressive in their current tour of Japan and next week fans will get a chance to see a recent match from Japan right here on Wrestle Weekly TV.

Backstage “Mean” Gene Okerlund interviews Harley Race. Okerlund brings up what many have called the match of the year so far when Race took undefeated Nick Bockwinkel to the limit at “Gold Rush.” Race states that he should be the number one contender for the RWF World Championship. “When the upcoming cage match is over and if anything is left of Bockwinkle, I’ll be there to pick up the pieces,” says Race.

The Iron Sheik w/Nikolai Volkoff vs. Tom Pedretti
Sheik waves around the Iranian flag and riles up the audience prior to the match. When the bell rings, Sheik hooks Pedretti in an abdominal stretch – elbowing Pedretti’s ribs for additional pain. Sheik piledrives the youngster and then locks on the Camel Clutch shouting Iranian obscenities as Pedretti taps.
Winner: The Iron Sheik w/Nikolai Volkoff

Sheik continues to torture Pedretti in the Camel Clutch as Volkoff prevents the official from breaking it up. Suddenly a video interrupts on the big screen. Viewers see familiar footage. The camera pans over a forest with hundreds of trees. The footage zooms in on two lumberjacks sawing a tree. The downed trees are loaded onto a massive trucks. Lumber is loaded onto an assembly line and at the end of the line 2x4’s are spit out. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan raises his trusty 2x4 and storms the ring to make his RWF debut. Sheik and Volkoff duck and run for cover as Duggan wildly swings the 2x4. Duggan gets a “USA! USA!” chant going and gives the camera a thumbs up as the show fades to black. Thanks for watching!
