Tonight I saw War for the Planet of the Apes.
I really liked (and now own) the first two movies of this series but this one IMO was even better. Lots of twists I will not talk about (but will hint that one of these major twists is Nevada related.) I keep reading this is a trilogy- but I really think the way the movie ended that this awesome franchise is going to continue (remember in Dawn of the Apes when that space shuttle took off?.)
A
I am hoping sometime this weekend I get a chance to see Spider-Man: Homecoming.

I saw Spider-Man and it was great. Really loved it. My favorite part may have been seeing one of my favorite, obscure, comic book series hit the MCU in the opening minutes of this film. Great to have A good Spider-Man film.

Great to have A good Spider-Man film. I thought this was the best of all the Spider-Man movies, and one of the best MCU movies ever.

Saw Spider-Man; Homecoming today and liked it a lot. lots of fun and a great spin on bringing in how a teenage kid in today's American society would be, especially the opening scenes.
Really good addition to the Marvel franchise.
BTW, The Captain America end credit trailer...GREAT!
Up next, Valerian and Dunkirk...and still some great ones coming in August!

I'm the "other" vote...47 Meters Down. What can I say? I'm a sucker for shark movies. Been long enough not to spoil anything for anyone who may have wanted to see this, right? Thought this film was really well done until the WTF ending. When I have to ask my 9 year-old nephew if I understood the ending to a movie that isn't animated, it tends to sour me

Looking back at everyone's choices, nobody (Including myself) "wanted" to see Baby Driver, which ended up being the best-reviewed Summer movie on Rotten Tomatoes so far! Just goes to show you the difference between "critics" & "consumers" I guess...
