Summer 2017 movies

[Vegas]

this weekend I did not have much going on so at the theaters on my streets I saw two movies from this poll:

Atomic Blonde
I finally saw this movie and I am glad I did as it really kicked a*s, a great action movie with a good soundtrack taking place in Berlin as the Berlin Wall is falling. It won't take me almost two months to see the sequel. A-

The Hitman's Bodyguard.
Much better than the bad/negative reviews I saw for it online. Samuel Jackson and Ryan Reynolds both were great in this movie. This movie was both really good for action (including an above average car chase scene) and comedy (Ryan Reynolds flying through the windshield at exactly the wrong time as he has his chick on the phone almost caused me to fall out of my seat.) B+

Rough year for Hollywood. Gross.

I was on tour when Baby Driver came out so I didn’t get to see it until last night. I liked it though I don’t feel it lived up to the hype but there was so much it’s inderstandable. Love the music intervention throughout, even the gunfire was timed out. That was fun. Glad I got to see it finally.
