Jim Solie - Ladies and Gentlemen!...Welcome to The LXG Arena...from City of Fight on Earth's Moon as we proudly present The...Only The Strong Survive Tournament...where after the conclusion of the 31st match of this evening...the very first LXG Champion of The Universe will be crowned!...

With us tonight is of course my partner in grime Gorilla Ventura (he nods and gives a peace sign to the camera) as well as from Viper's Pit; Mr. Ron Simmons, (sitting with his arms folded, he nods), Ms. April Hunter, (who smiles, waves & blows a kiss to the camera - really well) and of course from Viper's Pit...the man himself...Pit Viper (who flexes his muscles a la Hulk Hogan with much less than spectacular results - although it does make April giggle & snort through her nose).

Gorilla Ventura - Ladies and Gentlemen...for our first contest of this evening...we have:

From the initial ring (and arena shaking) collision, to the end of this superb 15 minute starting match, the crowd never had a chance to sit down - the beating these two gave each other was relentless and staggering.

Within the last minute of the match, Morgan Dollar (mostly from fear some thought), let these two wrecking machines tear into each other resulting in a bloodying to both of them brawl that turned the tide in Monoliths favor. What turned it back in Disasters favor - was Disaster ruining Monoliths follow up Deathjump attempt with several near rib breaking punches to his ribs and then Vertical Suplexing Monolith off the top ropes. Without wasting time - Disaster came back and hit Monolith with his RAMPAGE finisher (A Face First Chokeslam) for the three count.

Disaster advances to the second round and will have a starting Fatigue of 2.

Crime and Punnishment:

(Thantos attempts to hire someone to commit the perfect crime...but his would be perpetrator attempts to talk him out of it...)

The scene is Peter Lugers Steakhouse in Downtown Brooklyn. Thantos, Encubus and Morpheus have just had an incredible steak dinner and have settled down with some fine irish coffee, when the head waiter walks over to Thantos asking if he could have a word.

The waiter whispers into Thantos's ear and Thantos motions for all of them to get up and follow Thantos, who is following the waiter towards a set of stairs in the back.

Encubus seems pumped and excited as does Thantos, but Morpheus seems reluctant - he doesn't agree with what Thantos has in mind here.

Once they all walk down the three flights of stairs, they come across a labyrinth of very antiquated looking structures, rooms and hallways that are all teeming with nefarious looking characters. In the air a faint whiff of Heisenberg's Cloud can be discerned and they even cross a doorway where they see two individuals who appear to be dictating to workers who are processing large amounts of the substance. Encubus told them that they are the two main actors from that show Breaking Bad.

The waiter finally leads them to a grand office of sorts, knocks on the door and tells them to enter. Inside the office seated behind his large desk is Epoch, the leader of this ring of organised crime that is called The Third Reign...and is the chief competitor of Sly Drury's - Maffei. Seated on a chair at a meeting table is his right hand man Kill Prey.

They all sit down at the table:

Thantos - Epoch...I know you're a busy man so I'll cut the bullshit and get right to it...I want to hire you.

Epoch (has an incredibly deep voice - easily an octave lower than humans)  - I'm listening...

Thantos - Murder.

Epoch looks briefly at Kill Prey but Kill Prey never takes his eyes off Thantos.

Epoch - Who?

Thantos - A woman.

Epoch - Is that so...

Thantos - That's right.

Epoch - Who exactly...are we talking about here?

Thantos looks at Encubus and sees his own thoughts in his son's eyes - and Morpheus never takes his eyes off of Kill Preys.

Thantos - Do you know who...The Queen of the Night is?

Epoch - Yes...but do you...that seems to be the better question.

Thantos - What are you getting at?

Epoch - In common courtesy...I have agreed to hear you out...but I am not in the murder game...you would have to seek out one of my competitors for that...and even if I did dabble in that...I would never touch that job.

Thantos (angered) - Why the hell not!

Epoch - The Queen of the Night is not from this dimension.

Thantos - So...What dimension exactly are we talking about here?

Epoch - Kronos.

Thantos - That doesn't exist.

Kill Prey - And neither will you if you do this.

Morpheus - Why?

Epoch - The Dominion originally came from Kronos...if you actually succeed in this - and that's a big if...Hell itself coming after you would be an improvement...as to what would endlessly stalk you.

Kill Prey - Only The Dominion...decide their own individual fates...you will be unilaterally guilty and hunted without mercy...even...if in their eyes...she deserved it.

Epoch - Now...let me ask YOU a question.

Thantos - I'm listening...

Epoch - Would you...and your family consider join our cause...we could use you and your families influences...and followers.

Encubus - Which cause?

Epoch - The League's...Endgame is one of the people leading the charge...in preparation for most likely an inevitable war...by appealing to the masses to stand together...and fight The Dominion.

Kill Prey - What if I were to tell you...that even SHE may have sided with the League already as well?

Morpheus - I find that difficult to believe.

Epoch - I would too...

Thantos ponders all that was said for a moment, looks at Encubus and Morpheus and  says:

Thantos (with a knowing smile and the thought that - Out of chaos comes order)

Encubus - (with also a knowing smile and thought because he knew that he and his father were of one mind - Yeah...Ours).

Morpheus - (already sensing his fraternal son Thanto's thoughts) - We're in...it would seem...

Superb outing for Disaster... Eliminating sometime of Monolith's stature is a great way to start building momentum... The opposition will certainly take notice of what they're up against...

Your work involves such rich storytelling that I think this new episodic format will be really beneficial to both you (as the presenter) and those reading along... This is more than just a wrestling fed, my friend... This is a snappin' experience!

I'm very glad you like this format - I think I'm going to be comfortable with this.

For the record - everything I usually incorporate into The LXG - including Viper's Pit and The Celebration of the Lizard segments - will always be a part of it - just a piece at a time.

Hey Pariah!

Very grateful for your support of everything I've tried on these boards amigo.

I'm truly rolling the individual match-ups randomly - when I rolled Disaster and then Monolith I couldn't believe what a starting match up this could potentially be - but when I rolled out the match itself - I was really pleased to be able to report a great kick off.

You know I didn't know how to articulate what I was aiming at with this format change - but you nailed it.

Easier for everyone on both sides of this screen and hopefully more enjoyable - The LXG is always looking to give all of us a nice place to hang.

In the words of the immortal Neil Young:

We're gonna tune up first - we don't wanna give you a cheap shot - We're gonna tune up cause we care!

(I think I saw this as he was warming up to play at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame - but this always struck me as killer).

An Experience - I like that - I truly hope that is what it is.

The second thing I wanted to mention was I am tweaking the presentation a bit with The LXG. I truly hope everybody digs it.

When it comes to posting a fed, it's always a work in progress for me and the only thing that's constant is - I keep changing my mind!

Hope this format is a groovy one.

I think it will work for me - always trying to find the right balance between inside and outside the ring action.

It's somewhat like a fed I used to post - with a one match at a time style - heavily influenced by an old awesome fed called The Iron Cafe.

(I believe by Crimson Cross - but I have to double check).

There are definitely a few of the Earth bound wrestlers (whether they admit it out loud or not) that are relieved that at least one of these monsters is out of the picture.

Gorilla Ventura - Jimbo...I couldn't agree with you more...maybe they should just hand the belt to Disaster now...so that no-one else gets hurt.

Ron Simmons - DAMN!!!

(Just as he was about to take a sip - Pit Viper yells & winds up flinging his full cup of coffee straight up in the air in startlement at Ron's explosive syllable - as the Ron Simmons Translater phone ap simply says in it's mechanical voice - (...that...was...some...crazy
...shit).

April Hunter - INCOMING!!

(Jim Solie, Pit Viper, April Hunter and Ron Simmons all scatter as the coffee and it's cup lands directly in the middle of the joint announcers table).

Gorilla Ventura (while cleaning the lenses of his sunglasses and smiling) - Ladies and Gentlemen...for our second contest of this evening...we have:

The staredown between these two titans of Earth bound professional wrestling was absolutely intense...and said it all.

Three quarters of this match mainly stayed within the confines of the ring as initially Mascaras was just to agile and quick for Thesz - launching a rapid fire offense that was more like that of a greasy fast cruiserweight. But once Thesz was finally able to get his hands on him, he effectively slowed down Mascaras with multiple painful holds and almost won the match courtesy of his GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP.

Growing frustrated at Mascaras's resiliency, Thesz took the match outside the ring and almost achieved a victory by count out after Piledriving Mascaras into the stone arena floor. But Mascaras was somehow able to comeback - punctuated by a leaping - two handed slamming of Thesz's head into the joint announcers table. Mascaras then clamped on his Bow and Arrow hold which eventually forced Thesz to submit at the 6 minute mark. Key word here being eventually.

Mil Mascaras advances to the second round and will have a starting Fatigue of 2.

(After the initial aggravation of now losing a second cup of undrank coffee as it fell on the arena floor after Thesz's head collided with the announcers table, Pit Viper sets up a guest chair and announced):

DLR - (Before he sits down he yells out to the cheering crowd) - Look At All The People...Here Tonight! (& the crowd loves it)

Pit Viper - So Dave - what's this special announcement?

DLR - Pit...you lean green sex machine...I come as a messenger from The LXG...Ladies and Gentlemen I am proud...to announce that for the 31st and final match of this evening...it will be a Canadian Climax.

Pit Viper - Dave my friend...whatever the hell that means...I love it...please now go into long & slow details...

DLR - A Canadian Climax is...my good friend...a Best of Three Falls finish to an outstanding  tournament...

Pit Viper - I hear ya...but why a Canadian Climax?

DLR - Considering it's origin...

Pit Viper - (Scratches his head...but still very intrigued) - But wait...isn't this an LXG...thingy?

DLR - Nah...We stole it.

DLR - Mr. Morrison's Canadian associate Raven, in The Soft Parade...besides it all makes perfect sense - think about it...Folks north of our border are used to ridiculously cold temperatures - if anybody knows how to keep things warm and especially hot...it's definitely them jack!

Pit Viper - Huh (while absorbing this)...wait a minute (starts to smile)...isn't your girlfriend Trish Stratus...Canadian?

DLR - (With a big smile and with great pride)...Extraordinarily...

Heavy Is The Head...Who Wears The Crown:

(The Aethran Overmaster, plagued by turmoil and conflict on his home planet of Aethra...as well as within the multi faceted LXG Aethran Civil War...makes very difficult decisions and takes even more difficult steps in attempt to bring about Aethran unity on both planets...):


The Aethran Overmaster has been enraged before, that's not exactly a well kept secret.

But what has been kept a secret for quite some time is the truth behind his lie.

He is starting to doubt his sanity...and he is afraid.

His homeworld of Aethra is now in open civil war with itself. Within this entirely warlike and male dominated society - even the women are banding together and starting their own rebellion. Centuries of repression are now fueling a remorseless reprisal.

And all of his bretheren at The League are also in open civil war with each other - including Alpha Female who has actually rebelled against all of them, even Thrash.

A people divided will fall - the Overmaster knows this...

When he was simultaneously tackled by both Moog and Sentinel (formerly of The Dominion) during a recent card, there were some residual effects - not really physical but far worse than that - mental.

The Dominion will roll right over a divided Aethra - but not one that is united - The Overmaster knows this...

One planet...One people...he thought.

He met individually with each faction within the League; Spike's, Minister of War Vengeance's, Disaster's & Santon's attempting to persuade each group the following - (as painful as it was to say and even more difficult to honestly admit - it was the most difficult thing he ever had to do and say up to this point as Aethran Minister of War):

Aethran Overmaster - ...A cessation of hostilities on Aethra as well as within The LXG - until the all Aethran Battle Royal on the upcoming PPV card...At that card...we all give each other undisputed hell...Only the winner would ever be respected...But when a winner has been declared...and a New Minister of War has proven his (very tough for him to say) or HER sovereignty through combat - we all (this was the toughest part to say - let alone try to sell)...ACCEPT this...and become:

One Planet...One People...War is Coming.

Of all of his bretheren at The League it was Santon The Loner (ironically) who seemed to be the most potentially supportive of this, considering he was the first to rebel against all of the others...

Telling the people of Aethra this was by far the most difficult task of all, and he did so after vomiting severly before it and some more afterwards, but he...still...did it.

The warring factions on Aethra as well as within The LXG agreed to maintain peace...at least until The Aethran Battle Royal Results...but after that...there are no promises.

People breaking the peace before the results were to be executed on sight - enforced by the 100 Million Strong Aethran Military...

This may be...perhaps...the final executive order The Aethran Overmaster will ever give...and that was also a bitter pill to swallow as well...

The only one who refused The Overmasters request was Alpha Female...

The last of the groups to see The Overmaster was Santon's.

One of his group - Havoc had some news for The Overmaster regarding Alpha Female:

Havoc - In addition to being infected with that bad ass Black Death shit...she's also a vampire now.

The Overmaster - So It is true...

Havoc - Yep...that lousy bastard Sammael totally fanged her...

Paralyze (raises an eyebrow about an inch).

Havoc - Oh...and she told me to tell you something.

The Overmaster - What...

Havoc - That none of us are safe...and none of us gets off easy...

The Overmaster - (sits back in his chair pondering this for a minute) - Where'd you get that...grotesque...black eye?

Havoc - That's not why we're here...is it?

The Overmaster grunts a bit in thought...as Paralyze's eyebrow raises a bit higher now...
