One of my favorite artists, greatly under-appreciated by the masses and a first-class bad ass, Steve Earle: 1.Guitar Town 2.Copperhead Road 3.Devil's Right Hand 4.Johnny Come Lately 5.Oxycontin Blues And of course, the man, the myth, the legend (and the only artist I've ever spent more than $100 per ticket to see-and worth every penny) Bruce Springsteen: 1.Downbound Train 2.No Surrender 3.The River 4.Jungleland 5.The Promised Land Just bought Steve Earle's new album. Been a huge fan for years and glad to see there's another Earle fan on the board. 1. Johnny Come Lately 2. The Galway Girl 3. F The CC 4. John Walker's Blues 5. Regular Guy Also love 'The Boss' and have been lucky enough to see him. Really prefer his early stuff, reflected in my faves: 1. Does The Bus Stop? 2. Factory 3. It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City 4. Atlantic City 5. From Small Things... New Steve Earle album is fantastic, just got tix to see him on September 14th and cannot wait!

I'll start with Springsteen, as he is my favorite artist of all-time. It's actually hard to do this, but I'll give it a shot:
1. Thunder Road (especially live and acoustic) 2. Growin' Up 3. Backstreets 4. Rockaway the Days 5. Darkness on the Edge of Town
I left a ton off there, but that was the best I could do. For the people who mentioned Bruce's concerts, I'll cosign on that. I've seen him multiple times and I think my wife summed it up very well after she saw him for the first time in 2012: It's like going to church.
The other two members of my personal Holy Trinity of music:
Prince
1. When Doves Cry 2. Thieves in the Temple 3. Little Red Corvette 4. 7 5. The Beautiful Ones
Jay-Z
1. U Don't Know 2. Mama Loves Me 3. Renegade 4. Dopeman 5. Takeover
I'll do some of the artists already covered a little later.

Everybody is really bringing the goods, I am enjoying this topic so much and learning about some artists that I am not too familiar with. Pariah that was an inspirational Kid Rock story. It proves that music can indeed help us even when we are down. Bawitdaba is a bad ass song for sure. Crimson, I only knew Big Country the song but now seeing your other song picks for them I will have to seek those out. I also liked your list for Billy Idol.
Up next are two more of my favorite 80's bands:
Dokken
1. The Hunter 2. Heaven Sent 3. Alone Again 4. It's Not Love 5. Dream Warriors
WASP
1. Wild Child 2. Blind in Texas 3. L.O.V.E. Machine 4. Widowmaker 5. Animal

It is amazing that we only matched one song on our W.A.S.P. and Dokken lists (L.O.V.E. Machine) and I can't believe that I forgot about Unchain the Night. I love that song. One thing I really like is getting to see what music others on the board enjoy and I'm not ashamed to admit that I had not heard of Steve Earle until Lucifer brought him up. Now with the three Steve Earle lists posted it looks like I have some listening to do! AC/DC (Bon Scott Era) 1. Night Prowler 2. If You Want Blood (You've Got It) 3. Whole Lotta Rosie 4. Sin City 5. Jailbreak AC/DC (Brian Johnson Era) 1. Thunderstruck 2. Hells Bells 3. For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) 4. Heatseeker 5. Black Ice AC/DC has so many I want to list but I had to stop at ten though honorary mention to Highway to Hell, Riff Raff, and heck just about the entire catalog.

Weird AlNope - sorry. Does nothing for me. Elvis PresleyWas never into Elvis but 'Suspicious Minds' is a great song. The DoorsI love The Doors. When people ask: "Beatles or Stones?", I answer "The Doors". - Light My Fire
- Crystal Ship
- The End
- When the Music's Over
- L.A. Woman
So hard to narrow it to five. I could put the whole 'Waiting for the Sun' album on here.
