Bulletin - Hot off the heels of the crowning of the World Grand Prix Champion, a Best of Three Falls match between champion Randy Savage and the tournament runner-up, Magnum TA will occur. Meanwhile, former Americas Champion Lou Thesz has signed for an extensive world tour and has no interest in vying for the Grand Prix title. The word was that Thesz was disappointed in the officiating in the tourney.
Other title news is Brian Christopher's Light Heavyweight Title is renamed the WORLD TV TITLE but unlike the Grand Prix Title, it has a 40 pound weight differential. This means a challenger is required to make weight within 40 pounds of the current champion's weight. This should induce faster-paced, evenly fought matches while differentiating itself from the Grand Prix Title. Christopher's first challenger is Blue Blood and suplex master David Taylor.
Finally, the Midnight Express have signed on for a couple of bouts. The first is with Jim Bruznell and Marty Jannetty in a challenge for the gold, based on the events in Montreal. Can these tag specialists derail the Express?
Also the wild Fighting Kiwis, Bushwhacker Butch and Luke have returned and have no love for Cornette and his men. Butch and Luke have a dislike for the Midnights ever since they got cheated in a major tag-team tournament back in another organization. I am anxious to see how this plays out!

That run by Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody over several teams was awesome, including beating Doc & Gordy with Bobo Brazil as the referee. Shocking win for Wild Bill White over RVD in the Hardcore Rules match as well as Magnum T.A. taking the belt from Randy Savage in somewhat controversial fashion.

Big upset by Bill White over RVD. Midnights get sneaky. Hansen and Brody get a great win. Second show...big win by Nick B. Bobo Brazil gets a fun win. Too bad the Conways came up short against the Blanchards.

The Blanchards and Conways could be a great mid-card feud. I'm betting Windham has earned the wrath of the Heenan Family.
