Event 10-003
Fritz Von Goering pinned Ric McCord after a clothesline. This match almost went the distance as both men had multiple attempts and could not muster any offense off their preferred mode of attack in this bout: into the turnbuckle. There is no plans for further rematches.
Jim Londos used a crotch lift & slam to pin George Tragos in a match with a heavy Mediterranean flavor and great back and forth action.
Jerry Brisco pinned Bob Roop after surprising Roop first with a well-executed Sunset Flip off the ropes, which led to a flash pin from the OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL.
Bill Apter interviewed Baron Von Raschke for his thoughts on the Dillon Dynasty and his crew causing so much trouble. The Baron said he was glad he had men like the Bulldog and the Patriot in his corner and no sooner did he say it, The Spoiler broke through from the back and attacked Baron. Needless to say, the bloodied Baron is in no shape for the six-man tag later in the show. Who will sub for this big match ? - stay tuned!
Dan Severn W-DQ over Jack Brisco as Jim Cornette’s racket came into play but it was Brisco who intercepted it and got caught using it. Cornette’s interference ruined an otherwise solid match.
Tag-Team Champions Allied Force teamed with North American Champion Magnum TA to defeat the masked men of the Dillon Dynasty: Superstar, Destroyer and The Spoiler.
The Bulldog used a piledriver to pin the Superstar and one could tell Dillon was not pleased with Superstar representing the Dynasty by dropping two straight decisions.
North American Champion Magnum TA did double-duty and defended the title against Ted Dibiase. A great back and forth struggle had Magnum wrap up the match with a picture-perfect BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX for the pin. Eddie Gilbert was livid at the referee’s count and proceeded to challenge Magnum and a partner to face him and Dibiase for the next event: 10-004. Magnum was eager to accept and his partner is someone who is a friend and has had a problem with Gilbert and his henchmen: Hacksaw Duggan!
NOTES: Card 10-003 has PTW champion, Macho Man Randy Savage defending against Dick Hutton with special troubleshooting referee Morgan Dollar assigned. . . .North American Champion Magnum TA pairs with Hacksaw Duggan to tangle with Eddie Gilbert and Ted Dibiase in a big grudge match. . . Jack Brisco faces Dan Severn in a special challenge rematch and the British Bulldog faces the Destroyer in a special tag-team captain’s match. Bill Apter also has a special guest for the Hot Seat. See you at ringside!
