PRIME TIME UPDATE #1 Prime Time wrestling is back as a the New Blood tournament posted here has brought an influx of contenders: filsingergames.proboards.com/thread/21532/hall-blood-tournament-promoters-primeDick Hutton won the exciting tournament and has earned a championship match against current Prime Time Champion Randy Savage. The Spoiler has also challenged Baron Von Raschke to a Battle of Clawholds. Finally, from the Light Heavweight Division Johnny Saint will defend against a newcomer who recently was a special referee for his defense against Marty Jannetty: Jerry Brisco. Jerry’s brother Jack has also entered the competition and is an instant contender for the Prime Time, North American and even the tag-team belts! Here is a first in a series of updates for the different titles since I last posted and will start with the main title of Prime Time Wrestling . . . Prime Time Championship: Randy Savage Tully Blanchard won the title from Lou Thesz but injured the former champion in a post-match beatdown with JJ Dillon. This act resulted in a suspension of both Blanchard and Dillon, vacating the title. Prime Time Officials ordered a special Battle Royal Super Series held in four cities with the winner of each battle royal wrestling in a four-man playoff to crown a new champion. The winners of the battle royals - East - Philadelphia - Iron Shiek West - San Francisco - Claudio Castignoli North - Milwaukee - Andre The Giant South - Atlanta - Bruiser Brody In Chicago, East met West and North met South. Andre The Giant and Bruiser Brody fought to a DDQ, which left the winner of East-West as the champion as Claudio Castignoli pinned Iron Shiek in a excellent match with some standout matwork. When Tully Blanchard returned from suspension he defeated Lou Thesz in a Hardcore Texas Death Match with the winner getting the first crack at Claudio’s title. Blanchard won the Texas Death Match and also the subsequent title match in Toronto to reclaim the gold. Blanchard defended the title successfully against Castignoli, Barry Windham and also Jim Brunzell but met his match against Randy Savage. The Macho Man took the title in a short series where Blanchard escaped with the title the first time but Savage overtook the odds and reclaimed the top prize in Prime Time. The Macho Man is on fire since winning the title as he has defended the title successfully with wins over Blanchard, Superfly Snuka, Magnum TA, King Kong Bundy and Ox Baker. Savage is looking forward to the new talent arriving in Prime Time. Prime Time Champion: Randy Savage 1 - Dick Hutton 2 - Jack Brisco 3 - Dan Severn

PRIME TIME UPDATE #2 This update will cover the tag-team and light-heavyweight titles.
Tag-Team Championship: Allied Force of The Patriot and British Bulldog 1 - Superstar and Destroyer 2 - Midnight Flight (Marty Jannetty and Jim Brunzell) 3 - Midnight Express with Jim Cornette
Steve Williams and Terry Gordy recently dominated this division as they won the gold from DDP and Kevin Steen. Since that win they took on and defeated all comers including the Coast to Coast Connection (Greg Valentine and Steve Regal), Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody, The Long Riders, Texas Hangmen, Jim Brunzell and Brad Armstrong and also former champs Jim Cornette’s Midnight Express. Williams and Gordy signed for another Japanese tour but have kept the door open to a potential return.
Oddly enough, Jimmy Hart and his Quebecers challenged the champions to a Quebec Rules match, where piledrivers were illegal and a DQ would count as a title change. Jacques and Pierre did not need those rules, but still notched the title win even if the wheel was heavily tilted in their favor. Like the former champions they took on all contenders and notched impressive wins against the Midnight Express, The Armstrongs, the big and rough Long Riders and the newly formed Midnight Flite of Jim Brunzell and Marty Jannetty.
It took the merger of Superstars as the Allied Force of the Patriot and British Bulldog to unseat the devious Canadian duo! This team looked sharp and defeated former champions in a rematch along with downing the Quebecers in an exciting best-of-three falls rematch. Recently a masked team is making noise and has earned the next shot. This team is the veteran duo of the Destroyer and Superstar. Should make for an interesting matchup as the Spoiler was seen recently with this team, while nursing a minor injury.
Light Heavyweight Championship: Johnny Saint 1 - Jerry Brisco 2 - Danny Hodge 3 - George Tragos
Johnny Saint is at the top of this division, recently earning a three-peat after trading the belt with Marty Jannetty. Saint survived this challenge along with successful defenses against Juvi Guerrera, Steve Regal and Brad Armstrong. Interestingly, Saint defeated Jannetty with newcomer Jerry Brisco as a special referee. Brisco did not impact the outcome as he called the match fairly but he did challenge the winner to a title match. The former National Light Heavyweight Champion recently wrapped up a successful run in Florida where he defended that title throughout the South. He also had a successful run with his brother as National Tag-Team champions in that same area. The survivor of this match will likely face other incoming challengers like Danny Hodge, George Tragos and even Jim Londos as this division will catch fire quickly!
The last update will include the Ladies division and the contenders to the North American Championship. This space will also provide a capsule profile of managers, alliances and other notable facts from around the wrestling world.

PRIME TIME UPDATE #3 This update will cover the Ladies division along with a look at the North American Championship. This update also includes brief recap of champions, contenders and alliances in Prime Time Wrestling.
Ladies Championship: Mildred Burke 1 - Sherri Martel 2 - Candi Devine 3- Fabulous Moolah
Candi Devine reigned supreme as the ladies champion and beat such top talent as Fabulous Moolah, Ivory and long time rival Sherri Martel. Mildred Burke finally unseated Devine and while she is a newly crowned champ, the ladies are lining up for a crack at the gold. One is the “manager-ess” Sherri Martel due to events occurring with this title . . .
North American Championship: Magnum TA 1- Larry Zbyszko 2 - Ted Dibiase 3 - The Spoiler
Larry Zbyszko cruised through a special tournament in Minnesota defeating Curt Hennig in the final match. Larry Legend also beat two other rivals, Jim Brunzell and Nick Bockwinkel on his road to the gold. Sherri Martel is stationed in Larry’s corner to offer guidance and support (and occasional interference). This cagey duo was tricky to defeat as he defeated both Armstrongs, Jim Brunzell, Barry Windham and Magnum TA. Zbyszko became a three-time champion when he briefly dropped the title to Bullet Bob Armstrong but regained it in a wild rematch.
Magnum TA felt Sherri Martel was a factor in his title shot so challenged Martel and Zbyszko to a mixed tag-team match. Magnum chose ladies champ, Mildred Burke as his partner to keep Sherri out of it and it paid off as a sleeperhold ended this match. This earned Magnum a rematch and he captured the gold using the Belly To Belly Suplex to take the belt. Sherri has since challenged Mildred Burke since she stuck her nose in my business. Magnum has no shortage of challengers with Zbyszko still around and also Ted Dibiase on his trail. Several newcomers like the Spoiler, Bob Roop and maybe Baron Von Raschke are looking for a shot.
Finally, would like to include a recap of the roster and alliances of Prime Time Wrestling:
Sherri Martel manages former North American champion Larry Zbyszko
JJ Dillon now manages The Spoiler along with other masked men like The Destroyer and Superstar. Tully Blanchard has left Prime Time Wrestling. Dillon has also associated with Abdullah Butcher as his insurance policy but the Butcher has disappeared since his brutal feud against Bruiser Brody.
Eddie Gilbert manages Ted Dibiase, Ox Baker and Fritz Von Goering
Jim Cornette manages the Midnight Express and now Dan Severn in the singles division. Cornette also hired Mr. Hughes as protection against savage fans and teams that like to back-jump people.
Melina manages Prime Time Champion Randy Savage
Teddy Long accompanies the Allied Force to their title defenses to ensure fair play.

Prime Time Wrestling at Legends Sports Arena Season 10, Event 1, a.k.a 10-001
Dan Severn (with Jim Cornette) pinned Ric McCord after a BELLY TO BELLY THROW and a CHOKE SLEEPER to open the card.
Fighting Spirit Champion Johnny Saint pinned Jerry Brisco after a THREE IN ONE in a fine match between two light-heavyweights.
Vader pinned King Kong Bundy after a VADER BOMB. Vader and manager Harley Race tried to inflict damage after the bell but Bundy fought it off. League officials ordered a tag-team superbout with Bundy choosing a mystery partner. Vader chose Stan Hansen for his partner.
Vader and Stan Hansen def. King Kong Bundy and Bruiser Brody. Wild match with all four men in the ring at one point but Vader landed an impressive MOONSAULT on Bundy to end it.
Bill Apter Hot Seat with JJ Dillon. Dillon and the Spoiler claimed the Spioiler has the best Claw. The Spoiler also claimed that the only reason Dick Hutton won the New Blood Tournament is that Hutton used all the money he likes to carry around and paid off the Baron as a hit man. If Baron did not apply his Clawhold illegally, the Spoiler would have had 100% health in the final match versus Hutton. The Baron took offense to this comment and got in the face of Dillon and Spoiler. Officials separated the two but Spoiler smacked Baron with a nearby photo light stand.
The Baron received immediate medical attention and would not compete in the battle of the Clawmasters, but Dick Hutton offered to sub for Von Raschke. . .
Dick Hutton used a scoop slam to pin The Spoiler as the fans went wild. The Spoiler was distracted as Baron placed the CLAW on JJ Dillon. What a finish!
Tag-Team Championship, The Allied Force defends the titles against the masked men of the Dillon Dynasty: Superstar and Destroyer.
Davey Boy Smith pinned Superstar after a bone-jarring Superplex!
NOTES: Prime Time Champion Randy Savage will defend against New Blood Tournament winner Dick Hutton in event 10-002. Will the Spoiler try to pay back Hutton for his allegedly using Baron Von Raschke as a hit man? . . . A special six-man grudge match is signed as North American Champion, Magnum TA pairs with the Armstrongs to take on Eddie Gilbert, Ted Dibiase and former North American Champion, Larry Zbyszko. Hacksaw Duggan tackles Ox Baker in a slug fest and in a polar opposite matchup, light-heavyweight technicians Danny Hodge and George Tragos square off. See you at ringside!

Legends Sports Arena Event 10-002
Ric McCord upset Fritz Von Goering (with Eddie Gilbert) with a FIGURE FOUR!
Jack Brisco pinned JJ Dillon with a Lateral Guillotine and a FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK in a special challenge.
George Tragos def. Danny Hodge with a Grinding Toe Hold in this battle of light heavyweights.
Bill Apter interviewed JJ Dillon and called out the corrupt officials of Prime Time, including Teddy Long who let most of these injustices happen right under his nose. Dillon says the fed has its favorites like Hutton, Baron and the Briscos as they are starstruck with some of the new talent. On cue, Teddy Long arrived on set to defend himself and scheduled Dillon to team with the Spoiler against the Brisco brothers, Jack and Jerry. Long stated that if Dillon and Spoiler win, they will grant them any match they want. Dillon and Spoiler gladly accepted as they want a chance to show up some of these Prime Time Punks.
Jack and Jerry Brisco def. Spoiler and JJ Dillon as Jerry used a FIGURE-FOUR to defeat the Spoiler. Once again Baron Von Raschke played a role as made the CLAW symbol while goose-stepping down the aisle, clearly targeting Dillon. Fans could hear Dillon, saying this is the type of favoritism ruining Prime-Time!
Ox Baker (with Eddie Gilbert) pinned Hacksaw Duggan after a bodyslam. Gilbert slammed Duggan in the back with a chair from the apron while the referee had his back turned with Ox.
Magnum TA and the Armstrongs W-DQ over Larry Zbyszko, Eddie Gilbert and Ted Dibiase. Dibiase was caught using the glove on the North American Champion, Magnum TA. The champion was bleeding but was still ready for a fight with Dibiase!
Prime Time Champion Randy Savage pinned Dick Hutton in a Match of the Year Candidate.
Melina accompanied the champion to this match, but was not a factor. Each man gave their all as they traded a set of 2.5 counts. Savage had the Ax Handle and FLYING ELBOW, while Hutton had the scoop slam and COWBOY BACKBREAKER to stun Savage. One pinning combination had Hutton trap Savage in an abdominal stretch, but Macho Man’s feet were on the ropes. Melina did point out that fact, but it was only the right thing to do and not blatant interference. Savage’s wild style erupted towards the end as Hutton landed hard on the concrete floor. He tried in vain to beat the 10-count but could not return. Both men were groggy and walked gingerly to the back after a standing ovation!
NOTES: Will Savage and Hutton have a rematch? Time will tell, but Hutton earned it here. Baron Von Raschke has received medical clearance to return to the ring and gets a six-man match when he teams with tag-team champions Allied Force versus the three masked men of the Dillon Dynasty: Superstar, Destroyer and The Spoiler! . . .Magnum TA defends the North American Championship against Ted Dibiase . Dibiase will have his special advisor Eddie Gilbert in his corner for this title match. . . Jack Brisco faces Dan Severn in a special challenge match and Golden Greeks are set to battle as George Tragos tangles with Jim Londos. Bob Roop also faces Jerry Brisco, with Fritz Von Goering facing Ric McCord in a rematch to open the event 10-003. See you at ringside!
