Results from the BUFFALO STAMPEDE in BUFFALO, NY CAN-AM TV CHAMPION Lou Thesz W, DQ over Clinch. [/font] Match spilled to the floor after several minutes of mat struggles. Clinch tried a skull fracture but the referee reminded him this was a WRESTLING match. Clinch choked out Thesz at ringside and Thesz got the technical decision by DQ.
Dude Brohan def. 80MW CHAMPION Lazer to win the title. This heated match had Pierre in Dude's corner and Buzzsaw in Lazer's. The traffic and paegentry was for naught as Dude used Fists to Head and a BIG BRO LEG DROP captured the gold for the Dude.
Ted Dibiase def. SUPERSTAR CHAMPION Hacksaw Duggan in a No-Holds Barred Match to win the title! A short up & down brawl had both men gain an edge but Dr. Mike Lano got in the way slowing down Hacksaw. Dibiase struck with a Power Slam when Duggan returned to the ring and regained the title!
Steve Williams & Terry Gordy def. Rock & Roll Express to win the ULTIMATE TAG-LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP. Morgan Dollar and Local Legend Ilio Dipaulo as the referees! Doc & Gordy used their power and ground-based attack to work over Morton. Gibson tagged in and rallied the Express but was stopped by a GORDY lariat and PILEDRIVER which sent him to ringside. Williams tagged in and promptly hit the STAMPEDE at ringside forcing a count-out. Williams hit this so fast that the referees did not have a chance to react. Williams and Gordy celebrated their title win before intermission.
Will post the results of the Battle Royal after a brief "intermission." . . .

Bill Apter Hot Seat with Superstar Champion Ted Dibiase Dibiase called Duggan an unworthy, dumb slug who does not deserve any more title matches. This brought Hacksaw to the interview area. Duggan challenged Dibiase to match right there! Dibiase only agreed to wrestle on these terms: If Duggan wins, he gets a title shot at the upcoming Saturday Night Special if he loses, no match and onto the next challengers for Dibiase. They agreed and the match was on!!

******* Saturday Night Special at Hartford, CT ****** Tag-Team Superbout: Dude & Pierre W, Lazer & Buzzsaw Pierre moves from a Lazer lariat, Dude connects with BIG BRO LEG DROP.
Macho Man Savage W, Larry Hennig The Flying Double Ax Handle was the weapon of choice for Savage to wear down the Axe. A Running Knee to Back knocked the wind out of the elder Hennig for a pinfall.
ULTIMATE Tag-Team Championship with Morgan Dollar referee: Champions Steve Williams and Terry Gordy DDQ with Rock & Roll Express Wild rematch as neither team has scored a pinfall now in their two meetings. Gibson made the pin save for Morton but a four-way brawl led to a Double DQ as Morgan Dollar lost control of the match.
Fight Cage for CAN-AM Championship: Lou Thesz W Clinch These two had a clinic, with back and forth grappling. Each man was bloody from high impact smashes with the fists and cage. Thesz trapped a Short Arm Scissors into a Double Wristlock to win the bout.
#### Dark Matches #### Bobby Eaton (with Lane and Cornette) W, Chris Hero (with Claudio) Too much traffic and interference as a tag-rematch is signed. Eaton won after slamming Claudio with a racket then setup the ALABAMA JAM on hero. A potential tag-team clinic is on tap for SUPERBRAWL.
Harley Race W, Bruiser Brody Race weathered the storm of the larger, more explosive Brody. Harley used a VERTICAL SUPLEX and PILEDRIVER to win.
No-Holds Barred Street Fight: Bobo Brazil W, Superfly Snuka Michigan favorite Brazil dominated Snuka early busting him open with a series of COCO BUTTS and a BIG HAMMER PUNCH. Snuka rallied with a Flying Headbutt and TWO SUPERFLY LEAPS to win this bloodfest.
Fantastics W, Sheepherders These rival teams did not wait for ring announcements with the Kiwis getting the early advantage. Rogers was too savvy and too quick though turning the tables on the wild men. A ROCKET LAUNCHER finished the evening.
The stage is set for SUPERBRAWL, and this year's theme is SUPERBRAWL - CLASH OF CHAMPIONS CHICAGO. The event will emanate from the Windy City, but the lineup is under wraps at the moment. Main event and some key matches are in negotiation now, but should have info soon. See you at ringside!

***** SUPERBRAWL PART ONE ***** == Clash of Champions at Chicago, IL == Best of Three Falls for World Tag-Team Titles: Steve Williams and Terry Gordy vs. Rock & Roll Express 1st fall: standard match with Morgan Dollar the assigned official. Gordy and Williams, W Morton & Gibson.
SuperBrawl began with a boom as Williams and Gordy methodically took apart the Rock & Rolls, focusing their assault on Morton. Gordy used the PILEDRIVER to win the fall and Morton looked injured. This feud and the attack was not over as Gordy continuously landed on the neck of Morton while Doc held Gibson at bay with a chair. Superstar Pro officials, led by Commissioner Bruno Sammartino threatened immediate suspension of the champions if they continued this violence. Gordy laughed it off and kept beating a defenseless Morton. Police and officials shackled the champions and Bruno announced to the crowd that the champions are indefinitely suspended until Superstar Pro reviews this action and receive doctor's word on the severity of Morton's injury.
Round-Robin #1 CAN-AM Champion Lou Thesz W, Superstar Champion Ted Dibiase Match spilled outside the ring for some back and forth action. Once they both returned Thesz surprised Dibiase by pouncing on him with the THESZ PRESS and win. Standings: Thesz 1-0, Dibiase 0-1 with RVD yet to wrestle.
Macho Man Savage W, DQ Harley Race Rough match as Race controlled the action with some roughhouse tactics almost capturing a near fall. Match spilled to the floor but Race's aggressiveness cost him as he used a chair on Macho earning a DQ.
Larry Hennig W, DQ Bruiser Brody This match was similar to the Race-Savage encounter but Brody only had a slight edge. A wild brawl spilled to the floor with Hennig grabbing a chair when Brody grabbed his chain. Brody used his weapon however, stopping the match on a DQ.
Bill Apter Hot Seat with Jim Cornette. Apter announced that since the tag-title match will not continue in falls, officials have delayed any announcement due to the suspension and also some key happenings in the locker room. Apter then introduced the manager of the Midnight Express, Jim Cornette. The Louisville Slugger told Apter he will read two statements on the behest of Superstar Pro officials. . .
Statement #1: The World Tag-Team Champions have received an immediate and indefinite suspension to injuries inflicted to their challengers after the first fall of tonight's title defense. As doctors have recommended the Rock and Roll Express do not compete until they receive medical clearance, Superstar officials have countered with this suspension. Upon further review of the medical conditions of the challengers, fines and possibly legal action may result. The champions are officially persona non-Grata and were escorted out the building. As a result, the World-Tag-Team Championship is now vacant.
Statement #2: Superstar Pro has retained possession of the actual title belts and have also exercised their right to fill the title vacancy. The #1 contenders match between the Midnight Express and the Fantastics is now for the World Tag-Team Championship and lead Superstar official Morgan Dollar is the assigned official. Superstar Pro Wrestling wishes both teams the best of luck to fill this vacancy and encourages the best efforts of both teams in determining new champions.
Jim Cornette was so pleased on these statements, he was left speechless and left ringside to prepare his team for the bout later on.
Round-Robin #2: Superstar Champion Ted Dibiase W, DQ Buffalo Stampede Champion Rob Van Dam Dibiase came close to elimination as Van Dam busted Dibiase wide open. However, one too many Van Daminators rung up a DQ win for the Superstar Champion evening his record at 1-1. Thesz 1-0 and RVD 0-1 (end of part one)

***** SUPERBRAWL PART TWO *****
Hacksaw Duggan W, Curt Hennig This was a long, back and forth match between two men who were relatively familiar with each other. Curt almost won at a few points, but Duggan's muscle and brawling proved too much. A final exchange saw Hennig bail to the floor after a wild punch. Hacksaw greeted Hennig returning to the ring with a FLYING SPEAR for the win.
The Fantastics W, DQ Midnight Express (with Jim Cornette) to win WORLD TAG-TEAM TITLES! Despite the DQ finish this was the match of the night. Some highlights: Midnights started fast and furious, almost winning the belts with their trademark double-team moves. . . The Fantastics countered cutting the ring in half several times, refusing the Midnights attempts for defensive tags. . . Cornette saved his team from disaster and turned the tables with a handful of powder which seemingly filled the arena! . . . One exchange of defensive tags and elusive maneuvers resulted in a standing ovation for both teams as the fans appreciated the teams pulling out all the stops . . .Finally, the match ended when the Midnights were in trouble late and one too many saves caused a DQ. The referee awarded the match and titles to the FANTASTICS. GREAT, GREAT MATCH as Chicago fans were appreciative of this all-out effort.
Round-Robin #3: Rob Van Dam W, Lou Thesz with Split Legged Moonsault. Van Dam stayed alive with this win. He caught Thesz by surprise and advanced to the 4th and final, winner-take-all match against Dibiase. All three combantants are tied with a 1-1 record with Van Dam and Dibiase having the chance for first place!
FIGURE-FOUR FINISHER CHALLENGE: Destroyer W, COR Buddy Rogers The masked man controlled the match here, working over Rogers leg relentlessly: hip drops to Rogers' leg along with Bombs Away as the preferred methods. Match had an odd finish as Destroyer locked the FIGURE-FOUR outside the ring counting Rogers out. The Nature Boy was helped to the back as he never answered the bell to return to the mat.
COAL MINERS GLOVE CHALLENGE: Bobo Brazil W, Superfly Snuka Both men tried for the glove to inflict max damage. Brazil was successful first and kept Snuka at bay while lining up for the big smash. Snuka tried to wrest the glove free, but Bobo had the advantage to land TWO GLOVE SMASHES to beat Superfly.
Round-Robin #4: Ted Dibiase W, Rob Van Dam for the Superstar World Heavyweight Championship. Dibiase showed guts here as he battled through blood after getting busted open by RVD earlier. The match was not without controversy as RVD was slowed down some after tripping over official photographer Mike Lano. This was the opportunity Dibiase was looking for and used an extended COBRA CLUTCH to setup a textbook vertical suplex for the pin.
Dibiase finishes in first place at 2-1 Thesz finishes 2nd at 1-1 and RVD at 1-2.
SUPERBRAWL is in the books with many surprises. If anyone could have predicted how both world titles were separated, they should play the big lottery! See you soon at ringside.

The Louisville Lip has stated that the Midnight Express were not pinned or submitted so they have not earned the gold. His Midnights will make them earn it in Baltimore.
SuperBrawl Rematch: Macho Man vs. Harley Race Big SuperBrawl rematch as referee Morgan Dollar asked Dr. Mike Lano to leave as he wanted no cameras or ringsiders allowed. This match was all Macho Man as he pounced on Race from the bell, and whaled on Race at ringside. A FLYING ELBOW rang the bell, but the action was not over in this feud as Bobby Heenan raced to ringside. While Race and Heenan double teamed Savage with a piledriver, this duo scurried out when they realized the damage was not enough to snuff the fire of the Macho Man. A slightly injured Macho Man, wants Race or Heenan anytime and anywhere!
