Three episodes in and this season is pretty great. No super stand out story like San Junipero yet, but I still have three episodes to go. Anyone else a fan of the series?

It's one of my favorite shows. We haven't started the fourth season yet since we're renovating one of the bedrooms at the moment.

So you think you can dance in season three was one of the best episodes of any show I can remember. For me I was taken on roller coaster of emotions. I don’t want to spoil anything about it. But man was it a good one. I just started the new season last night. I think. I really liked the first episode a lot. I’m still processing it. Second one was meh. But someone with kids my really be affected by it. I really love this series. Soon as I binge through it I will tackle season two of the travelers.

I told my wife that Black Mirror episodes are like Doctor Who episodes only the Doctor never shows up to fix everything.

Watched episode 4 of season 4, Hang the DJ, last night and it was fantastic. Definitely on the level of San Junipero for me. Yes, episode 1 of season 3 is pretty great too. Great concept and a great way to explore topical stories.

I watched the first two episodes of season four. I loved the first one, the second one was pretty average.

I finished the season the other night. It was decent, some hits, some misses. Hand The DJ was my favorite. USS Callister was a close second. With Black Museum and Metalhead tied for third. I thought Black Museum was a little over the top in spots, but I enjoyed the references to past episodes and the guy who played Solo Haynes was pretty fantastic. A solid season. Looking forward to more.

Finished Black Mirror season 4 last night. Hang the DJ was my favorite, followed by Black Museum and USS Callister. Hell, the only episode I didn't think was awesome in season 4 was the second one, Arkangel, but it was still pretty good.
I think Metalhead wouldn't have been nearly as effective in color rather than black and white.

So, I've never watched the show. I've only recently started to hear people talking about it but don't feel like I have even the tiniest grasp on what the show is about. Can someone give me a spoiler-free idea of whether or not it is for me?

Can someone give me a spoiler-free idea of whether or not it is for me? Think of it as sort of a Twilight Zone type show. The 'twist' or problem, generally has to do with some aspect of technology. Each episode is completely stand alone so you don't have to watch them in order. That said, the show does exist in the same 'universe' but you don't have to watch them in order. You'll just see easter eggs to things in other episodes. The first episode of season one can be very hard to watch and some folks struggle making it through. If you can though, it's a good show (and that first episode is only mediocre compared to the rest, in my opinion).
