The setting: Godsend is ready to call his shocking surprise witnesses! But is he physically up for the task after being power bombed through the Circinus Cell by Climber on card 16? Siege fights MONOLITH in a rubber match with no outside interference because this time they meet inside the COSMIC CAGE! Plus our fearless and mighty GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION Aethran Overmaster puts his title on the again tonight against Exo-King! Exo-King came within a hair of defeating Siege for the title several cards ago and tonight he gets a crack at AOM and the big belt again.
Let’s get to the action!
Godsend enters the arena in shackles, masked, and confined to a wheel chair. The Aethran Soldiers wheel him to the defense table. A disheveled Lady Godsend follows behind. Demon Godsend is nowhere to be seen with rumors he is healing from his injuries inside of an Aethran cell somewhere on Castilex after being beaten and detained on our last card.
The reaction to Godsend is night and day on Deimos compared to how he was treated on New Aethra. The fans in attendance show him sympathy. He does not get the heroes welcome he has gotten on other planets and stars, but the boos are few are far between. Deimos fans have watched the Gladiators torment the galaxy for too long. Everybody has been waiting for decades to for somebody to stand up to them. That somebody just happened to be Godsend.
Endgame and Massif take their place at the prosecutor’s table. Judge AOM and his GWF Title rest above on his throne. Paralyze stands at his side.

powerlord take their seats in the front row.
The first wrestler out of the curtain is Death Knight! DK3 gets a HUGE reaction from the Deimos crowd. Viewed as one of the true loyalists to Endgame and the hero team, but also recently a follower of Godsend. Whose side is Death Knight on in this trial? Death Knight challenges all Gladiators in an attempt to avenge the war on his home of Castilex.
* Fist (6) survives the fight of his life needing a distraction from the Dark Menace to beat Death Knight (8) who absolutely refused to stay down. WEAPONS for the fourth time in the match mercifully ends it.
* Tharkas (2) re-gains the GWF INTERPLANETARY TITLE dethroning Azuma (5) w OBLITERATOR.
NEW GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPION! Tharkas takes back the belt!
GODSEND CALLS HIS FIRST WITNESS - DEMON GODSEND.
Demon Godsend enters the arena in chains, shoved and bullied to the ring by Aethran Soldiers. Fresh, open wounds and bruises cover his body.
He is shoved into the witness stand where Judge Aethran Overmaster stares him down like a dog.
Aethran Soldiers unshackle Godsend and remove his mask so that he can begin his questioning. As he unmasks, a smirk is discovered by residing along the black and blue face of Godsend.
Godsend: I hope everyone is ready for my bombshell.
Massif: Bombshell? There’s a bombshell?
Godsend: Demon Godsend, where were you on night Commander Sam was allegedly “murdered”?
Demon Godsend coughs and holds his ribs as he struggles to speak: I was with you, my Lord
Godsend: You were with me. That’s right. And where was I?
Demon Godsend: You were in your throne room, my Lord.
Endgame: Objection! There is no evidence anybody else was in that throne room when Godsend killed Sam!
Godsend: I’m getting to that part of you would hold your temper and listen
AOM: Overruled!
AOM orders Godsend to get on with it and make it quick.
Godsend: The media would like everybody to think poor frightened old Commander Sam just moseyed into my thrown room - and I bashed him over the head with a goblet. For no reason at all. That’s how I am portrayed by the biased media and even some of the jurors on the jury!
The crowd buzzes as Godsend appears to personally challenge members of the jury.
Godsend: My past is not on trial.
Godsend pauses for affect.
Godsend: Your job will be to decide if I murdered Commander Sam or if I acted in self defense. And the biased media, the Dark Menace, the Gladiators, the Powers That Be in the GWF and even a lot of these fans and some of these jurors have already made up their minds haven’t you!
Godsend takes another long pause.
Godsend: But that is not what happened. Is it, Demon Godsend?
Demon Godsend: No, my Lord. It is not.
Godsend: How can you possibly know that if I was alone in the throne room with Sam?
Demon Godsend: Because you were not alone. I was there with you. And I saw the whole thing.
Endgame: Objection! This is not a credible witness!
Godsend paused yet again.
Godsend: On the contrary. Demon Godsend is the most credible witness there can be - an eye witness.
Endgame: You won’t get away with this!
AOM: Order in the court!
AOM orders Godsend again to get to his point and threatens to throw Demon Godsend back into solidarity confinement if he does not explain himself right now!
Demon Godsend: I saw the whole thing. Commander Sam stormed in looking for a fight. He was never there to share war strategy with Castilex. He was there to fight.
Godsend: Go on.
Demon Godsend: As soon as he saw you he ran toward you. Your back was turned as you poured yourself a goblet of wine.
Godsend: It’s a good thing I’m still in my prime and have cat like reflexes.
Demon Godsend: He reached into his jacket - maybe for a weapon - it could have been anything he was going for.
Godsend: That’s true - he is an American.
Demon Godsend: You had no choice my Lord. It was him or you.
Godsend: No more questions.
With that stunning news the Aethran Soldiers shove Demon Godsend out of his seat and back into his chains, practically dragging him back up the ramp and putting him back into his hole in the New Aethra prison.
* MONOLITH destroys Siege (6), smashing him into the COSMIC CAGE over and over and finally sending both himself and Siege through the cage with a Crashing Stampede! MONOLITH pins Siege outside of the ring and on on top of the battered cage for the W!
MONOLITH wants a rematch with Overmaster! All hell almost breaks out as MONOLITH throws one Aethran Soldier after another aside! Finally AOM accepts! The Dark Menace says MONOLITH better pay attention to what AOM does to Exo-King later tonight!
* FDF Tradition win the GWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS beating Shayne (5) and the Basilisk (2) when Climber (5) hits Shayne w DIRTBAG DIVE and FDF TRADITION!
NEW GWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS - FDF TRADITION.
After the match Tank says “That was for Endgame!”
“That’s what you get for refusing to join the FDF!” yells Climber.
The new champs are red hot 🔥 in the GFITG!
ENDGAME CROSS EXAMINES DEMON GODSEND
Endgame and Massif are finally ready to cross examine Demon Godsend after his shocking testimony.
Endgame: Let’s cut right to the chase. You say you were there in the throne room. But no video exists of you ever entering or exiting the room during the time the crime took place. If you were there...where exactly were you?
Demon Godsend: I can’t tell you.
Endgame: You can’t tell us where you were? That doesn’t sound convincing at all!
Godsend smiles from the defense table.
Demon Godsend: But I can - show you.
Endgame: Show me? Show me what?
Demon Godsend: My COVER OF DARKNESS!
Demon Godsend suddenly casts a large black shadow that engulfs Endgame into darkness!
When the giant shadow recedes Endgame is laying unconscious on the floor!
Godsend smiles even wider.
Godsend: He asked.
Massif attends to Endgame as Climber and Tank hit the ring and try to get at Godsend & Demon Godsend but are held back by twenty plus Aethran Soldiers!
When Endgame comes to he has a horrifying look on his face.
Endgame: I saw it.
Massif: What?! What did you see?!
Endgame: I saw it all.
Massif: Saw all of what?!
Endgame: No more questions.
Endgame hands over the reigns to Massif for the night and quickly abandons his post, leaves the ring and exits up the ramp to great confusion from Massif and everybody else in the arena.
GODSEND CALLS HIS SECOND AND FINAL SURPRISE WITNESS - OMEGA OF CETUS!
The Deimos crowd responds with confusion and befuddlement.
Massif: Is this a sick joke? Are you taunting the dead now, Godsend!?
Godsend: Just sit back, shut up and watch how it’s done, Massif.
At the top of the ramp, a blinding light develops. Sounds of war can be heard from millions of miles away. Through the sounds and lights walks a man. It really is him. It is OMEGA.
Omega walks through the portal from Kronos and into Dimension K and the Deimos Intergalactic Arena for the first time since the 2090’s. The emotion lasts for several minutes as Omega strides to the ring and greets the GREATEST FANS IN THE GALAXY.
Omega finally takes a seat at the witness stand. But before Godsend can begin questioning him, the Aethran Overmaster calls for a quick recess!
Feeling upstaged and caught off guard, the Dark Menace announced that AOM will defend the GWF GALACTIC TITLE right now! “So forget about OMEGA!” he screams. “The champ is here!”
* GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION Aethran Overmaster squashes Exo-King (5) w REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER to retain the title.
After the match, the Dark Menace taunts Omega!
Dark Menace: You’ve been gone a long time, Omega! My Gladiators are a lot better than the dinosaurs you used to wrestle!
His ego fed, Aethran Overmaster returns to his throne and orders that this questioning gets wrapped up!
GODSEND QUESTIONS OMEGA
Godsend: Welcome back.
Omega does not respond.
Godsend: I know you don’t want to be here today. I know you have very important business to attend to elsewhere and I promise you will go back soon but - I also know you are an honest man. Much more honest than that fraud Endgame could ever hope to be. So I know our jury will listen to you in ways they may not listen to me.
Again, no reply from Omega. Only listening.
Godsend: I’ll keep this short and to the point. Have you ever had to defend yourself against Commander Sam.
Omega: No. Of course not.
The crowd cheers the first words spoken by Omega in the GFITG in over 30 years.
Godsend seems annoyed, slightly flustered by Omega’s answer.
Godsend: Maybe you didn’t hear me well enough. You’re pretty old. Let me ask you again - and remember you are under oath - have you ever had to physically defend yourself versus Commander Sam like I was forced to?
Omega: Maybe you did not hear me well enough. I said - no. Of course not.
Godsend is getting visibly frustrated and grits his teeth.
Godsend: Is this jury supposed to forget one of the biggest battles in GWF history? Let me remind you sir - lying in the presence of an Aethran Judge and Minister of War can lead to the death! Now tell us the truth! Have you ever had to fight back and defend yourself from Commander Sam the exact same way I was when he attacked me in my own throne room unprovoked! And do not say “no” because everybody here knows the answer of is YES!
Omega: No. Of course not.
Godsend is fed up and furious! For the first time in the trial he loses his cool.
Godsend: Liar! This man is lying on the witness stand! He should be thrown into prison immediately!
Omega turns to the jury and speaks.
Omega: I have never once had to defend myself against Commander Sam. He was my friend. He was my ally. And I miss him too. And I will be waiting for him to return to us on Kronos one day. I hope you can all make it there to see us.
Godsend: Shut up! This isn’t a crummy Kronos pitch!
Omega turns back to Godsend
Godsend: Tell the truth or get the hell out of here and stop wasting everybody’s time. I knew I was making a mistake calling you as a witness!
Omega: I have told nothing but the truth. I have never had to defend myself from Commander Sam. And it is Commander Sam whose reputation is on the line here today.
Godsend: That’s right!
Omega: Commander Sam was my friend. I’ve of course never ever had to defend myself from Commander Sam.
Godsend: Stop saying it! You’re lying!
Omega: But - I did have to defend myself against a man who was under an evil spell -
Godsend realizes his mistake.
Godsend: No more que...
Omega: COMMANDO - Sam.
Godsend: No more questions!
Godsend is shackled and masked, gritting his teeth and sneering at Omega as we fade to black.
